The alleys. The one place in Manuka where someone would be stupid to wander during the sunset and afterwards till the sunrise once more. Personally he wasn't too worried, he had his standard-issued Glock 23 that was tucked in the back part of his jeans. Plus a badge never hurt to flash when you were walking alone. Though he would use those first, he had another weapon, but that would be a last resort, or if he had to defend himself against say, a demon or a hunter. Strolling through the mild darkness settling over the city, his fingers twitched anxiously at his sides. A side effect of managing to get over ADHD with years of therapy as well as some medicine throughout his childhood. At least his brother had been supportive while his parents preferred for him just to continue with what he was good at, being a leader and playing sports. Needless to say they were surprised when he made a living out of messing with computers and such. The main thing on his mind now, was what was going on in these alleys. He knew there, due to a tip, would be a deal going down, and he was doing this off the books. Why? One was a well-known shapeshifter. Scowling darkly, blue eyes darkened as his eyes landed on a shadow that soon began to shift slightly, and his eyes locked in on a dog. A dog? Or was it the shifter? Scowling, his fingers twitched, and the dog whined, before falling to the ground, and straightening his frame then, as a man in pretty much all black appeared. Producing his gun, he spoke, switching off the safety quickly, "Don't move."
the shifter grinned a toothy, creepy grin, "Or what?" "C'mon, you didn't just choose to shift back on your own, now did you?" he smirked, gesturing to the small bag on his side, "Drop it and beat it, I'll see it gets into the right hands." More or less, evidence, but that was a different story. The male snorted then shifted once more, the blonde snarled and tucked his gun away, quickly jumping and shifting in mid-air. The Wolverine landed, snarling and lunged at the dog, locking his jaws around the dog's throat. The husky whined, whimpering and attempted to grab at the slightly smaller animal clinging to his neck. Reaching for the bag on the dog's side, he dropped the dog's throat with the small bag in his claws, beady eyes locking onto the husky, who was whimpering, blood staining his coat. Shifting back, the blonde smirked, and the man shifted back, before running off, as he eyed the small bag. In it was money, money he knew someone at the FBI would be pleased to have. Tucking it away for now, he then whirled around and headed out of the smaller alleyway. He hoped no one had heard them fighting back there, especially since the only trace there had been a scuffle would be the slight blood from the shifter. Running a hand anxiously through his cropped hair, he jumped and whirled around at the person he sensed beside him. Jumpy much? He asked himself, as his arm landed on someone, pinning them to the wall, blue eyes wide and wary, "What are you doing?" he demanded at the person, backing off, though staying aware of their movements, "I'd suggest...we leave this area." he spoke, grabbing the person's arm and bringing them into a bigger mouth of an alley, and he got a good look at the person. "Sorry if I startled you...just...a bad place to be right now back there." [/blockquote][/blockquote] plenty of WORDSanyone! <3 TAGGEDcoming soon <3 OUTFITtemplate by LISA@GBBS, lyrics by immortal technique CREDITyeah, sex up my boy please <3 NOTES

wolf in sheep's clothing
You would have thought this little lady learned her lesson the first time she decided to take the alley shortcut to get home from work. The first time, when she decided to take the alley as a faster way to get home, she almost got mugged or even raped by a couple of drunk guys. You'd think she was scarred for life and was never to enter the alleys again. Wrong. Oh how wrong. Aurelia, once again, had taken a late shift at work to get a little extra money in her pocket. The night shifts always paid more. There was always more customers and tips. The only problem was that she got off from work unusually late after. So she didn't want to take the long way home, her legs hurt and were crying out in pain, so she decided to use that little convenient shortcut. Foolish move. If anyone tried to attack her, all she had to do was shift and fend her attackers away. This girl could be able to take care of herself. She was a big girl. She followed the path, minding her own business.
Her sensitive hearing picked up a couple of words, a couple exchanges of nonsense banter. She could ignore that. It was probably a bunch of drunk guys trying to pick a fight with someone else or some drug dealing. It wasn't her business. Then when she took a big whiff of the air, her nose wrinkled. There was a copper smell in the air. Blood. What? It was normal around this area. It was probably some vampire feeding off someone, getting their meal. Again. Wasn't her business up until she was brought into it. So she continued her way. Then a male sped towards her, almost slamming right into her. He would have if Aurelia haven't moved off to the side. When he ran past her, she caught the scent of blood on him. Okay..that was strange... The running man didn't even acknowledge her presence there. He was just running. But from what? She couldn't help but to feel curious. But she let the whole thing roll of her back. Aurelia continued walking down the alley. The shape of a male was not to far away from her. She took a deep breath. Just walk past time and you will be okay. Don't even look at him. Just go. Her longs legs approached the male.
Suddenly, the tall male whipped around quickly, arms grabbing hers and pinning her against the wall. It was too fast for her to even react. Almost instinctively, an animalistic growl rose from her throat.. There was so much force put into that one push and she felt the impact of the wall on her back, Hell no. That hurt. When the male demanded what she was doing. The female glared at him. She was walking home, for god's sake! Her full lips parted to answer his question. But before she was able to answer his question, the male insisted they should leave, grabbed her arm and dragged her towards the other side of the alley. Where was he taking her? She would give him two seconds before she shifted and tore in apart. One...tw- they stopped. When they stopped the female jerked away, pulling her arm away from his grasp as if she was signaling 'don't touch me'. She wasn't going to stand there and cower in fear. She wasn't even going to accept his apology he gave her. "What the hell are you doing?" She snapped at him. Now it was her turn to interrogate him. Her muscles immediately became tensed and she was ready to attack the male if she needed to. She was ready to defend herself. "I was trying to walk home." Aurelia explained, answering his question from before. That was what she was trying to do up until this guy dragged her away, away from her destination. This was not how she wanted to end her night; with conflict.

What the hell was this? The moment he had managed to get her away from the idiotic man, the male gave her a short look. In all honesty? He was saving her sorry ass, but she didn't seem too aware of that, especially considering she crossed her arms over in front of her the moment she had yanked her hand free from his, the one he had used to drag her to mild safety for the time being. Throwing up a magical ward around this little area, now he would know if anyone walked past the barrier, so to speak. An alert system he'd taught himself over the years. Blue eyes darkened slightly at her words. What the hell was he doing? Giving her a dark look, he spoke, "Saving your sorry ass."
he growled. "I mean unless...you'd like to fight someone, go ahead." he shrugged, smothering his attitude, "I just figured I shouldn't let you get in their way towards me." he commented, eyes shifting from the beautiful annoying blonde in front of him to behind her upon sensing someone cross the ward he had placed around them at about a 20-foot radius. Scowling slightly, the blonde's fingers twitched, and soon a nearby trash can threw itself at the man, throwing him into the wall. Good. There with him getting hit and most likely knocked out, excellent. Just exactly what he was wanting. Otherwise he would probably just stand there and most likely drag this girl woman with him to make sure she didn't get caught in the cross fire. Though upon sensing the guy down for the count with the ward, Harley dropped it before he then heard her answer his question. Walking home. Stepping aside, allowing her to head back up to the main street, he spoke, giving a gesture, "Be my guest darlin'." There go the nicknames again. Course they weren't condescending how he used them, he used them due to his dialect. Wonderful. Personally he didn't care what the girls thought of them, at least he didn't put the tone with it, it was just a substitute for her name. Which he didn't know. He dropped his hand after gesturing for her to move on, and once she had started to move, the blonde male then shortly began to head up there as well, pausing as he turned around, and allowed his magic to form a barrier across this alley, therefore making it so if the guy happened to wake up and spot them, he would just smack into an invisible wall. Smirking calmly, he ended up in the main street and spoke to the blonde, "Don't go walking into dark alleys if you can avoid it." he mused, sounding like a cop...or a father. Well, technically he was a father, but this girl didn't need to know that. He hovered there for a moment, then stuffed one hand in his pocket on his pants, and began to head off. wolf in sheep's clothing
Saving her sorry ass? As if! Not even close. She didn't even need saving. Oh no. She didn't need it. She wasn't even in trouble. And if she did, Aurelia was the type of girl who didn't need to be protected or any sort. She could handle her own troubles. That's how she lived life, as an independent person. She didn't look like it, but she would take care of herself. She was blessed with enhanced senses and the ability to shift into another animal. She was faster and stronger than the normal human. It was strange and stupid how many people underestimated her and it constantly got on her nerves. Well maybe because she just looked like any other pretty dumb blond who couldn't do anything without the help of others. What judgmental people.
Aurelia took a deep breath. She was just about to come up with some snarky comeback to put the male in his place but then the sound of a object coming in contact with someone and then a male's grunt. Her heard jerked towards the direction of the sound that seemed it sound ten times more louder than what it really was to the human ears. Who was that? She felt her body tense up even more, and she listened carefully. standing very still. But there was no sounds of footsteps coming their way. So she let her muscles loosen up and relax just the slightest bit, being very careful around Harley. Then,. one can never be too careful of what's to come. She was just the type to always take caution in, well, everything.
What the hell! What is it with guys and 'puppy' names? Was it some kind of substitute for real name or did it just make feel more connected to a person? Aurelia never understood it. The man who had gave her scars on her back, Jackson, used several names like 'sweetheart' or 'darling' during their second meet and Elijah, her other savior, called her 'love'. Now this attractive, young man, called her 'darlin' with a bit of a twang or accent added to it. Cutesy little puppy names. It really annoyed her, but she never really showed it. She wasn't a 'sweetheart' or someone's 'love'. She was none of the above. It didn't piss her off. It just irked her a little bit. But it was never enough that she stated how much she disliked it out loud.
The male was a true ass with an attitude that could rival against hers. How interesting, too. The moment he gestured go her to move ahead, the female quickly strode in front of him. Her heel clicked against the pavement, making an obnoxiously loud sound, which she wished it could be toned down. She ignored the fact that Harley was walking right behind her, making sure she didn't run into any trouble as she make her way to the main streets. Great. She didn't need him to watch her over like some guardian angel watching their charge. Instead of acknowledging his presence,. the female just kept her gray eyes locked on the bright light ahead of her. She was just trying to block out the annoying sound of his footsteps or his breathing or even his heartbeat.
Her right cheek twitched a little bit, as if she was trying to hold down a sly smile. How interesting. He was actually warning her not to walk into alleys at this time at night. Who did he think he was? Her dad? Actually, her father was an cheating ass. So never mind that. Hah. This guy actually cared about some stranger walking out on the street, something that she could never bring herself to do. Well. Maybe if she wanted to get in their pants. Maybe. But really, did this guy even know what she was capable of? Definitely not. She could handle her own problems and troubles. She didn't need his advice either.
As Harley started to head off in the opposite direction, Aurelia turned around to walk the other way, but she took a couple of steps then stopped. She realized she just ran into a smoking hot male and she didn't even get his name! or number! she was just letting a opportunity like this slip right through her fingers like sand. And a Small little unselfish, good part of her screamed at her to at least thank him for what he had done. Was he even trying to protect or watch over her? She should at least be thankful for that. She whipped around, seeing only his back as his figure grew smaller and smaller. "Wait." She blurted out stupidly. What? Of course he could hear her now, since there was very little cars and there was silence all around them. There was no way she could hide it either. "Can I at least have your name, savior?" The female asked, a flirty smile soon crawled up on her facial features. She batted her eyelashes at him. She paused for a moment. "And...would you really let a girl like me walk home by myself at the wee hours at night? Mind walking me home" She said raising an eyebrow as if she was challenging him.

Ridiculous. He scowled behind her back, not towards her necessarily, but just the whole thing in general. Idiotic, ridiculous...making his blood pressure spike over nothing. Inhaling slowly and calmly, he calmed himself as he and the blonde then soon began to part ways. Good. He had a feeling she'd probably test his sanity. That would be one thing he'd like to keep if at all possible, after all he needed it for work for goodness sake. Eyes narrowed as he then parted ways with her. All right, even if she seemed like a pain in the ass, she was gorgeous. Damn, she was hot. Idiot, he told himself. He didn't get her number - no - he told himself. Maybe a good friend with benefits thing, but damn, he wasn't too sure how their attitudes would mesh. Now he wasn't always an idiot, and horribly rude, but the man from before had been testing his patience. Growling quietly in his throat, eyes flashed as a nearby water fountain began to flow as his magic flowed from him, before he managed to stop himself and smother down the annoyance. Suddenly, he heard something, "wait" wait...what? He paused, straightening his 6'4" frame and turned around as he then realized with a pang it was the blonde who had spoken that. Wait? Really? For what? Her? It looked like her house was in a different direction that his - though he was taking a slightly longer way home because he liked to walk, and he was tempted to head to the park and shift for awhile, roam around and probably mess with some flower beds or something. One of the fun things to do besides probably kill about any animal that came near him - besides a bear or a cougar, obviously.
His head sagged slightly, as if in defeat before he turned around and looked back towards the blonde. It was kind of easy to resist, but at the same time his conscience wouldn't let him just walk away from her either. Damn her. Damn her for doing this. Remaining quiet, he then heard her ask for his name. Should he bother to give her his real name or his middle name? He knew he wasn't even going to bother telling her his whole name, so perhaps just his first name. He'd just have to deal with it, or introduce himself as Harley Ryder and let her decide. Most went for Ryder, though people like his supervisor went for Harley. Whatever, he had a "y" in every part of his name, at this point he didn't care too much anymore. Approaching her, closing the space between them, though leaving a comfortable space, he spoke, "Harley."
he stated simply, sending a small chill down his spine upon his eyes locking onto her gray-colored ones as well. All right, he'd admit, she was pretty damn gorgeous. "Or Ryder, you pick...it's my middle name." he mused, not caring either way in all honesty. Tilting his head gently, he then inquired, "Might I catch your name?" He'd been tempted to say damsel in distress, but smothered that thought and just went with that instead. Though as he was about to suggest - she spoke about him walking her home. Challenging him? How dare she! Ha. Harley gave her a coy grin, and nodded shortly, "But of course." At least this way he could pull her number from her hopefully. Why not? Though he wasn't entirely sure on her having a boyfriend, after all she was stunning, so he figured she most likely did. Keeping himself a bay - for the moment despite her flirtatious movements towards him, Harley approached her and then stood by her side, "You lead the way then...promise me no dark alleys?" he teased, eyes locking onto her ones softly. As they began walking, he then inquired, his pace matching nicely with hers, him staying close to her just in case, "Mind if I ask what you were doing out at these...wee hours of the night?" [/blockquote][/blockquote] plenty of WORDSanyone! <3 TAGGEDcoming soon <3 OUTFITtemplate by LISA@GBBS, lyrics by immortal technique CREDIThehe, he's all to himself, "easy boy" XD NOTES

wolf in sheep's clothing
Aurelia wanted to get home as fast as she could. That was why she took the alley road. It was a shortcut that was able to take her home as fast as she could., cut off some walking time. And she legs cried out in pain. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it was foolish, terribly foolish for a pretty girl to wander the streets at his time at night -- alone. Even a girl like her knew that. That's the exact reason why she wanted to get home asap. But this male decided to waste some of her time, letting her linger on the streets longer than she would have expected to. He had just managed to catch her attention long enough to keep her interested.
Awkwardly, the female stood there patiently waiting for the male to respond to the single word that she blurted out without thinking. How stupid. Why did she do that? She felt her heart skip a beat when he turned around to face her, obviously noticing it was her to had called out to him. There was no one else out there. It was only him and her just standing out here on this lone street. She stood completely still as the male began to approached her, closing the space between them but still kept a comfortable distance between the two of them. The distance wasn't too large where felt like they hated each other. It wasn't too close where he was popping her personal bubble or invading her privacy. His blue eyes soon met her gray eyes for a split seconds, but she broke away from his gaze.
He soon introduced himself as Harley, then also threw in Ryder, saying that it was his middle name. Then he stated that he didn't really care what she chose to call him. "I'm think I like Harley more. It matches." She said. The male did definitely looked like a 'Harley', not a 'Ryder'. Harley soon asked Aurelia for her name. Now shall she give him a alias or her real name? She usually gave one night stands her middle name, an alias she had gone by. Just so if she saw then again, she could just say that they had the wrong girl. It was awkward running into a one night stand after you promised to call them back and never did. Was he just going to be another one night stand? A fling? O friends with benefits? She juggled with the thought in her head, toying around it with for a while. But she was the stupid one who did tell him to 'wait', calling out to him to stop. It was best she gave him her real name. "Aurelia." She stated simply, not including her middle name or her last name. Those were not important enough to know.
There was no doubt that Aurelia was attracted to this very good looking fellow. He was incredibly good looking. He had a nice chiseled face, wonderful facial structure, and best of all, a very nice, toned body. That was always a plus for her. She would totally hit that. But she wasn't like those normal shy girls who got all nervous and jittery around males. The shifter kept herself composed with poise and confidence that just radiated off her, just like how this guy radiated..hotness. Mmm. He just looked yummy. Oh. Hell no. She mentally bitchslapped herself, trying to keep a calm and cool demeanor.
"Night shift at work." Aurelia explained. One would have thought this girl worked as a stripper at some adult club or something like that. Haha. How funny. Many guys had asked if she worked as a stripper since they've found out she had a night shift. But no, as if she would let some disgusting calloused hands touch her and stuff dollar bills in her panties. The thought didn't even seem one bit appealing to her. She worked as a bartender/ waitress at local bar. She only worked night shifts because she knew there would be more customers, hence she would get more tips, which meant more cha-ching in her wallet. She needed the money to pay off for her own goods and pay for her little indulgences she bought here and there. She was a grown woman who was able to take care of herself. "So why are you still out at this time? Don't you need sleep?" She joked lightly, trying to clear up the small tension between the two of them. Honestly, she was a tad bit curious about why he was still out here. Usually people who roamed around at this time was vampire trying to get easy prey, some people rushing home as they try to get it on with another, people getting home from work like her and stupid, creepy drunk people. And Harley seemed to fit in none of the above.

So she was the ones who preferred Harley. Good, he didn't care either way as long as they all called him by one name and not something like...Roger or something horrible like that. Personally he was glad really none of his siblings had boring names either, Grayson and Nathaniel. Nathaniel was bordering on there, but he usually went by Nathaniel, and not Nate, so that was probably another reason why. So thanks, Mom and Dad, Harley thought quietly to himself, wondering what this blonde's name might be. He definitely didn't imagine something like Rebecca or Ashley. No way, didn't suit her. Though the moment she spat out her name, Aurelia, it clicked. Made sense. He nodded slightly. It really did fit her, much like she thought his name, his original name, Harley fit him. "Pleasure to meet you, Aurelia. I do like your name, definitely suits you, though I did know you couldn't have a name like Ashley."
Definitely not, she wasn't an Ashley, and he wasn't a Roger. Shifting gently, keeping things moving along, he allowed his mind to drift. God he hoped she wasn't an immortal, though from what he'd seen he didn't think so. Good, that meant she wouldn't be able to hear his thoughts. He was a male after all. The blonde's eyes flicked over her rather quickly, not in the sense that he figured most men would, but he'd just looked her over to get a...sense of her. See what she was all about. She certainly was good-looking, extremely gorgeous. Yeah, she had to have a boyfriend, even if she was flirting with him, he told himself to behave then, don't ask for her number. He didn't want to deal with an ex if he could help it. She had the long blonde hair - and he being blonde himself, had always been a fan of other blondes, especially natural ones, and she appeared to be a natural blonde too. Those lips...goodness. And then her eyes. Gorgeous gray. They didn't seem dull, not in the least bit. They were exceptionally bright, and he would admit they were quite stunning. Mentally scolding himself, he fixated his eyes on her own quietly, making sure that she wasn't aware at all of his mental list through his mind. Well, if she gave any indication of a significant other, he'd back off, otherwise, he wanted a number tonight if possible. Then she explained why she was out here. Night shift. Frowning gently, as that could mean multiple things, he went for clarification, "Saving lives? Serving booze?" He figured she would know he meant like a nurse or something for the saving lives part, but his second guess was bartender. Those guys would make wicked awesome money if they were good, and he was sure she would too if she pulled the flirting moves she did on him. Hell, he'd admit if she pulled that, he'd buy a drink. Then why he was out here. He wasn't sure if he should explain right away what his job was, not what he did on weekends, as that stuff tended to be in the gray middle of the law. Nevertheless, he wasn't too worried, it wasn't like the FBI knew about Manuka and the supernaturals here. That's why he was here, to make sure to smother any thoughts the FBI got about the supernaturals. In a way, he was protecting people like Aurelia - if she was supernatural - from getting caught by people in black vans and being dragged off to be in a lab. Why? For one, he would get involved too, but most of all, most of the supernaturals were like him, just living out daily lives, surviving like the humans did. "Saving people." he teased, before shrugging, "I was working late, took a wrong turn not thinking and ended up with you. Which don't get me wrong, I'm quite happy I did run into you. Literally." he flashed a short-lived grin, "How long have you been in Manuka?" There, testing the waters to see if she was like him. wolf in sheep's clothing
Her name definitely suited her. That's what most poeple said. She'd laugh instead. Her name was that Latin word for 'golden, shining, bright' like a star, which she was fine with. That was the normal part about it. But the fact that her parents named her after some goody two shoes saint, hoping the blond female would end up the same one day, made it seem hilarious to her. Hah. She wasn't even close to one. She didn't even turn out goody two shoes. As a matter of fact, she was the complete opposite, sleeping around with guys, partying like no other. The female laughed lightly when the guy said that he knew she wasn't an Ashley. A genuine laugh not something forced or played out to flirt with a guy or charm her way into their pants. Of course she wasn't an 'Ashley'. It was not an original name. It was must to common. And Aurelia was not like other girls. "And I knew you weren't a Tom." She joked.
The shifter felt her whole body tense up when she caught a small frown creep up to the male's features. Oh no. He must have thought she was doing...adult stuff for her job. But she was Aurelia Valesius. Why the hell would she care about what this one attractive male thought of her? She didn't care. She let a small sigh of relief when Harley didn't ask if she was swinging around the pole and getting single bills stuffed in her clothing. Ah. Then again, it would be terribly rude to ask something like that. Instead, he suggested if she was saving lives or serving alcohol to others. She didn't save lives, even if her life depended on it. More like she ruined them by breaking male's hearts. Even a doctor couldn't mend a broken heart. So nope, she wasn't saving lives. Now as for serving alcoholic beverages to others, yes, that was her job to do. She nodded. "I serve...booze. I get more tips to night." Aurelia stated, quite proud of her job. Good pay and tips were incredible, especially from drunk people who didn't know how much bills they were taking out from their pockets and insisted she keep the change. And she could use her femininity and natural charisma to win the hearts of some customers.
And she definitely wouldn't mind serving alcohol to him if he was a customer. Plus, with such a dashing male like Harley, she wouldn't protest against it. She would be flirting with him like no other and try to get his number before he left. Part of her wished that there was more male customers like him. Another said that guys like him would keep her distracted from serving others. Bah. Why was she even thinking of her job right now? She soon adverted all her attention towards Harley. She just used her charming abilities to flirt with him and win her away into his heart in hope to get his number or in bed with her. That was her goal at the moment.
Saving lives, how interesting. He really didn't strike her as the type to be...doctor-ish. One didn't have to be a doctor to save lives. There were several others jobs around here that could save lives or protect others. And Harley happened to be one of those people who played the hero's role. What a knight in shining armor -- scratch that. Modern people didn't wear armor anymore. He would be a knight in shining Armani. Mm. That sounded so much better. She was always a fan of men in suits or dressed up. Then again, she also liked a guy that was dressed down. And she definitely wouldn't mind the sight of a dressed down Harley. "I'm flattered." Aurelia started after he had said he was quite happy to have met her. "I'm quite glad too. It's not everyday I run into a hero." She batted her lashed flirtatiously at him and smiled a sheepish smile. As a matter of fact, she was quite an honest girl and very bold too. A deadly combination that could be used to one's benefit.
Harley soon asked about her history in Manuka. Oh. Getting deep down and personal now? "I've been in Manuka my whole life. Grew up here. You? " She asked glancing over to the male curiously. She never had the heart to leave the city. There was so much people around here that she knew and that were just like her. There was so much memories around here. She was easily accepted in a city like this, full of supernaturals. But if there was one thing she could change about Manuka, it would be the war, raging between supernaturals. Actually, she didn't give two shits about the war but she was constantly being convinced to join a side. Hell no. She didn't even want to be involved in it. To her, it was just another pointless war. Good for nothing. Plus, she didn't really care who was on what side. Nonetheless, she still slept with the males.

A joke now? That was certainly a turn of events. He had expected Aurelia to come back with something mildly sarcastic, but when she joked, saying a Tom, Harley's eyebrows shot up curiously. Not that he didn't mind it, no. Jokes, pranks and such were all in his life, but Aurelia hadn't hit him as the type of girl to do that. Then again he reminded him, he barely knew her. Hell, not even for an hour yet. Harley stuffed one hand in the pocket of his jeans as he listened to Aurelia then explain about her job. So, she was a bartender he figured. Not bad. He nodded gently, digesting that, "Sounds good. Do you have a special type of clientele?"
he threw her a coy grin, meaning to her flirting. He wouldn't blame her though, if he was a girl - thank god he wasn't - he probably would do the same thing. Though right now he didn't need to worry about flirting with his job, as sometimes he was at a desk breaking into files he probably shouldn't see, or he was hunting someone down with another agent and his Glock 23. Thank god he didn't have either of those with him at the time. He did have his badge for emergencies, but that was in his back pocket. Harley wasn't going to worry about his job, not when someone as beautiful as Aurelia was right in front of him. Shifting his attention to the blonde, Harley listened as she responded to his job. Oh really? Not that he had the whole knight-in-shining armor complex - okay, he did - but he had it due to his job. At least it allowed him to get on the streets once in awhile. Blue eyes blinked mildly surprised. He'd give her kudos for flirting, god knows he hasn't flirted in...years. Probably pretty damn rusty. Oh well, he'd just go with it. The blonde grinned coyly, "All in a day's work." he chuckled lightly. In reality it was true too. "Am I the first hero you've met?" he laughed shortly, running with it. The blonde glanced around, and inquired, "You show me the way." he commented on walking her home, as he obviously wouldn't know which direction to turn as they had arrived at a four-way stop. His eyes remained on hers though, as she had lived here her whole life then. Not horrible. He wasn't sure how he would have liked it growing up here, but it wasn't bad, he did enjoy it here, and he wouldn't mind if he had been able to bring Sydney along and raise her here as well. Don't get him wrong, he had no feelings for Jolene anymore, as he was moving on, but his daughter? Hell yes, even though he never got to see her, he did love her in the sense that she was his biological daughter, not of her...step-father. Oh well, Harley's attention snapped back to Aurelia when he realized she'd asked how long he'd been here. A small smile fell on his lips before he could stop it, "Honestly, no where near as long as you have been." he chuckled softly, "I was born in San Diego." Harley cast a swift glance towards Aurelia, "Joined the Navy in Montana, came here after I resigned." he was careful not to explain fully why he had, as that was...personally his own thing. Now though, he worked with the FBI and everything, keeping the supernaturals safe, so it worked. "So about...eh, a year coming up." he shrugged gently, strolling along with Aurelia. All right, he'd decided he would need to get her number before he left her at her house. Definitely her number at least, give her a call, see when she would like to meet up. Course work around her schedule of course, as he wouldn't mind meeting up with her when-ever she was free. "Do you usually work nights? Or just when-ever?" [/blockquote][/blockquote] plenty of WORDSanyone! <3 TAGGEDcoming soon <3 OUTFITtemplate by LISA@GBBS, lyrics by immortal technique CREDIThehe <33 aurelia+harley = awesome NOTES

wolf in sheep's clothing
The female shot a 'really?' look at Harley when he asked if she had any certain special type of clients. "It really depends." She said, dismissing the question with a small shrug. Flirting was the closest thing Aurelia had to a 'hobby'. Sure she could shop like no other, cook a wicked meal, even dance or sing if forced to. But that was all stuff that held no prospects. No way for her to make a good living off those. Flirting was a different story entirely. You could sell anything by flirting; drinks, merchandise, anything. That opened the door to tons of opportunities to make a living. Besides she genuinely enjoyed it was a exceptionally good at it. Very talented indeed. Something about flirting with men, heck even women, made a girl feel beautiful. And that was something she loved more then even sex; beauty. Aurelia was mad at you? What a damn shame. Just buy her a bouquet of flowers or a pretty piece of jewelry and her anger would more then likely disappear in the blink of an eye, but there may be a small grudge still lingering there. Not because she was fickle or shallow, just because she enjoyed those things.
And he decided to play along with her, asking her if he was the first hero she met. Nah. Not the first. The first hero she met was some guy in preschool who had kissed her 'boo boo' on her knee and had helped her up after she had fallen. It was cute, but that was a long time ago, when she was still innocent and uncorrupted. "Not the first hero, but one of the better looking ones." Aurelia said, basically, she complimented his good looks. Hell. He should be well aware that she was attracted to him and wanted a to spend more time with him. Plus, she wanted his number at the end of the night when she reached her house. She wanted something that would reassure a second meeting or even a date.
When they arrived at a four way stop, the female turned to the left, making a small arm gesture, as if she was saying 'this way' for Harley to follow her. After taking the alley shortcut, her house was not too far away. They would be there soon enough if they kept walking at this pace. Now, part of her wished that she had taken the longer way home, knowing that she had some good looking company with her. She wished she could spend more time to get to know Harley. Oh pity. Plus, he was a hero so she could protect her from all the scary 'monsters' lurking in the darkness.
So born and raised in San Diego, she could assume. Aurelia raised an arched eyebrow when Harley stated that he was in the Navy back in Montana. How..impressive. A true hero indeed. That was something she acknowledged, well other than his insanely good looks. . Then the male stated that he was in Manuka for almost a year, which was a whole lot shorter than her time period spent here, "A year?" She asked as if to confirm the number. "We should celebrate when it hit your one year anniversary in Manuka." The shifter said playfully, trying to aim for something. It just seemed so casual, like she wasn't trying to hard to 'hang out' with Harley.
She shook her head. "I usually work in the late afternoons. I just take a night shift whenever someone needs me to cover." The female stated, explaining her schedule. She seized the opportunity whenever there was a night shift open. Sometimes it was rare and sometimes, it was very often. She needed the money to keep a roof up on her head and spoil herself with little gifts here and there, It was, really, quite simple. Sometimes, she was able to charm her way out of work or ditch it without any trouble, since she worked her ass off on her job, but was mandatory she show up on Fridays and Saturdays. since those were the days when the bar was bustling with people. And it wasn't a bad job either. She didn't loathe going to work, instead, as a matter of fact, she enjoyed it.
Aurelia stuffed her hands in her pocket and took out a keyring full of keys attached to her. The keys clashed against each other and made an obnoxiously loud noise that irritated her. "My house is right over there." She said gesturing towards a pretty normal, average sized looking house. Now a girl like her, living by herself, didn't need too big of a house. But she wasn't the type of girl to live in a small apartment either. She needed her space to live in. She soon halted to a stop in front of her doorway, and turned around to face Harley. "Well. This is home sweet home for me." She said giving him a small smile. "You sure you don't want to come in for a bite?" The shifter asked, concern and curiosity lacing her voice.

He couldn't help but laugh at her look. It was first, adorable, and secondly, something he had figured would be true. Aurelia was gorgeous, fun and flirty. She'd obviously get all of the guys - unless they were stupid - to come and give her a nice tip. Hell, Harley knew he would if he happened upon her at the bar she worked at. He wasn't too much for bars for drinking, for parties? Oh yes. Parties were the best - when he didn't have to go into work early the next day. Most of the time now though, with a recent spree of killings in the nearby big city, he and the other agents here have been pretty booked. Blue eyes gleamed playfully, "I think I'll need to stop by sometime, as I'm sure you serve wonderful drinks."
he commented, suddenly both his hands found the pockets on his jeans, making sure not to stride too far ahead of the blonde at his side. Just hearing her confirm him being at least a "better-looking" hero than the one or ones before, made his ego confidence spike. Not abnormally, but naturally, like one would always for someone who had been given a nice compliment. So into me... he thought quietly to himself. Personally, he felt mildly smug that it was him who got to walk Aurelia home, and not another guy. Take that, he thought to himself. "Wonderful, I'll be sure to help out when you need it then. Give me a call." he chuckled, realizing she'd need his number first. Oh well, he knew he had at least till they got up to her door to get her number, yeah, he'd do that. His flirting was rusty. Damn, he'd need to go to a party soon and work on those. Maybe even run into Aurelia there at the bar party. Harley continued to walk with Aurelia, turning as she did to the left when they reached the point in their walk together. He enjoyed this though it felt...easy? Not that Aurelia was no! No just that...it felt easy to be with her, like he didn't need to worry about puffing out his chest and fluffing his feathers to show off. It probably wouldn't hurt, but he also wasn't that type of guy either. He couldn't help but grin at her comment on the one-year anniversary, "Sounds wonderful, it's actually coming up in about a week I believe..." He mentally checked, "Yep, eight days." Wow..he'd be here for a year in about a week. That...took a second to digest. It hardly felt like a year, he'd been here since he'd resigned from the Navy, a year since he'd seen Sydney through a photo - since her birthday was near the time he moved to Manuka. Shoving the thought of his ex from his mind, he wasn't going to bother about Jolene anymore. Aurelia was right here, and she was gorgeous, hot beautiful, witty, charming and most of all, single. And dug him too, of course. That was also major, now he would need to make sure she knew he was into her. He would need to be careful, it'd be like walking on a frozen lake in cleats for him. "Let me know if you're available a week from tomorrow." Harley suddenly spoke, pretty much asking her on a date - in a way. "I'd love to celebrate with you." There you go, he told himself. Make your move. He did of course listen to her explanation with her job. It made sense. A little extra money here and there didn't hurt, plus he had benefits from the Navy, but those he usually went ahead and put it into funding for the Navy, then the other half towards a secret little fund for when he finally got around to having a family. The 24-year-old surveyed the outside of her house, before he nodded, "I'm good with going inside, as long as you'll have me." he mused gently, giving her a quick smile, looking over her house. It seemed to suit Aurelia, he hadn't expected her to live in a condo or an apartment. But his apartment worked just fine for him - for now. Harley opened the door after Aurelia unlocked it, letting her inside first, shortly following her. Hovering for a moment, he then kicked off his shoes, looking it over, then back to the pretty blonde it belonged to, "Very nice, it suits you, Aurelia." he spoke her name, letting it easily flow off his tongue. "Did you buy this house, or did you live here?" [/blockquote][/blockquote] plenty of WORDSanyone! <3 TAGGEDcoming soon <3 OUTFITtemplate by LISA@GBBS, lyrics by immortal technique CREDITPP a bit into another room if you need to <33 NOTES

wolf in sheep's clothing
He kept dropping hint here and there, showing that he was into her. He already told her to 'give him a call' which foreshadowed that he was going to give her his number. Then Harley stated that she should tell him whenever she's available next week, Then the final hint was when he said that he wanted to celebrate with her. What a excellent choice. Aurelia was quite wild a good person to party with. The corner of her lips pulled back the slightest bit to form a smirk when he confirmed that it was going to be eight days until his one year in Manuka. He'd love to celebrate with her. Lovely. Harley was totally into her. He was definitely single, too. Good. Either way, if he wasn't single, she'd still go as casual friends -- with benefits. Hah. She managed to catch him by the reins, get a date or some kind of meeting with him. She was a natural at this, winning her way into men's hearts. She was able to do it with such ease. It was quite a talent, really. Just like she had thought. He accepted her request to grab a 'bite'. It was stupid for a single guy to turn down an invitation to a single's girls house. Score one for her. She managed to get a hot guy into her house without trying to hard. Her house was quite clean and tidied up, it was bit bold and feminine, yet it was still presentable. Suddenly, right after she closed the door and locked it, she dropped her keys off in a nearby glass bowl by the doorway. She kicked off her shoes. She was just about to answer his question but, the loud sound of a dog's bark filled her ears. Oh god...she should have warned Harley before hand, that she owned a dog. She wanted someone to keep her company and she wasn't going to have a cat, her canine instincts weren't very fond and didn't cooperate well with felines. And she wasn't going to having boring fish that swam around in a tank. So a couple years back, she got a dog just to keep some kind of company in the lonely house. Suddenly a pure white Siberian husky came dashing towards the two of them. The canine stopped in front of Harley, sniffing the air and then began to bark and growl loudly at the blond male. The husky got into defensive position, believing that he was a threat to Aurelia. The female shifter looked a tad bit annoyed at her dog. "No. Riley." She said in a strong, commanding voice, scolding the canine. She pointed towards the right towards the room at the far end of a hallway, which was the bedrooms. "Go." The husky whimpered but made it's way towards the direction Aurelia had pointed like a good, obedient dog. She turned towards Harley and gave him a weak, sheepish smile. "Sorry. He usually never acts like this." -- well acts like this to humans, but she didn't voice that part out loud. She didn't feel the need to expose that piece of information. Aurelia already knew that Harley was not human. She could already smell it out with her enhanced canine senses. There was just this certain scent supernaturals had that set them apart from humans. But she couldn't really place her finger on what species he was. It was a bunch of mixed up crap. It hurt her head even trying to figure it out. Instead, she dismissed her worries and shoved them in the back of her mind. She made her way towards the kitchen and opened the fridge, which was very bright in the dimly light room. "Bought the house a while back." The female stated rummaging through the fridge for some food. Aurelia had managed to buy most of the house shortly after she graduated high school. And her father, cheating bastard, paid off the rest she wasn't able to pay. Moment's later, she took out bottle of water, just plain water. She stood there by the fridge and held it towards him as if she was offering it to him. The shifter felt a sigh escape her lips when she saw Harley awkwardly standing there. He probably felt weird being in a girl's house at this time at night. But to her, this was just another guy that was in her house, which was very often since she brought guys home to sleep with. "Look. Make yourself at home." She said. It was something many home owners said just for the sake of it, but really, she meant it. Quite genuinely too. "Swear I don't bite...much." Aurelia said giving him quite a flirtatious smile. What the hell was she doing? She was just burning off time right now. Why? Usually she'd be ripping off another guys clothes, sleep with him, then kick him out in the morning and never see him again. But why did she want to see Harley again? |

The moment his shoes were kicked off, and Harley began his casual look around her place, he suddenly jumped slightly when he heard a bark, and then a pure white dog came towards them. He grinned lightly, "Oh, calm yourself."
His favorite animal, though he technically could be related to them...somehow. Blue eyes shifted over the animal, and he laughed lightly towards the animal. Threatened and all that jazz. Or he/she probably could smell his own dog on him. Damn, Sunny! No, Sunny would be good till tomorrow morning when Harley had to feed him. Yeah, Sunny would be okay. Mentally making sure to give him a good treat tonight or tomorrow morning - depending on everything - Harley shrugged about Aurelia and the dog, obviously named Riley. "Don't worry about it, I love dogs, probably smells my dog on me." Though he suddenly fell silent when she mentioned about not usually acting like this. He paused slightly as his mind coiled around that. Did she mean around men or supernaturals and humans? Harley didn't linger too much on that. If it happened to be supernaturals and humans, did that mean Aurelia was one too? She had to be, there was a certain...sense he had around other supernaturals, he could also just use a bit of magic to trigger her shifting slightly, but that would be uncalled for, he could always just ask. Either way, his shifting was something he only did if he wanted to get away for a bit, otherwise it was mostly his magic he preferred to use the most. Easiest to hide. "It's understandable, I mean...I just look threatening." He teased. Did it have to do with something about him not being a dog shifter? He knew the first time he shifted back just before getting home, Sunny hadn't liked him. Like something was off between the two who worked together like crazy. It would make sense, as he wasn't technically a canine when he shifted, he was...that mix between them like badgers, though he was bigger and worse than a badger. Keenly following Aurelia's movements, he noted just how graceful she actually moved when she did. He did know she wasn't a werewolf or a vampire, that was for sure. Faerie, he crossed that out. He was debating on a shifter or a mermaid, not a demon though. One of those two. Accepting the water, "Thank you." he commented, then heading to her couch, taking her words and sitting down on it comfortably. Placing an arm along the back of the couch, a pair of muscles that was slightly sore on his side stretched out slightly as he did so, "If you did bite me, would you leave a mark?" He inquired, his voice careful, though even suggestive in a sense. A coy grin placed itself on his lips as he drank the water, preferably happier with water than say, alcohol, especially at this time of night. "You plan on staying in Manuka?" It wasn't too personal, was it? He figured not, it wasn't like he was asking about her family or anything. That could be saved for a later date. He knew he liked the water though, this place had a forest, the ocean, and he loved the two. Montana had...nothing. A major reason why he had hated his parents when they moved them there. Running his free hand through his hair slightly, placing his hand on his temple, he looked to Aurelia keenly, "So, tell me a bit about yourself, Aurelia? What do you do outside of work? I mean...you can't work all the time." he flashed a grin, before gesturing to the area next to him on the couch, "Sit down, I don't think I smell horrible." He grinned - thank God he showered pretty much daily, and cologne never hurt either. Harley wouldn't mind being able to see Aurelia again. That frightened him slightly, but at the same time, the excitement poured over him before he could stop it. The thought of Aurelia and him being able to meet up again, was thrilling. wolf in sheep's clothing
So Harley had a dog too. Was that why Riley was acting that way towards him? No. Couldn't be. Cause if Harley had the lingering scent of another canine, the Riley's tail would have been thrashing crazily. Her dog wouldn't be growling of getting defensive over her. Aurelia just knew that Harley wasn't human. Oh please please, she begged, that she didn't just invite a firetamer into her house. Hell. She held a strong dislike towards firetamers. Scary things that would light something on fire in seconds and the flames couldn't be put out with just plain water. And she hoped she didn't invite in a demon..cause..well, you would understand. Demons are also scary too. They stole one's soul. Not something she wanted
So Harley accepted her offer for water. Healthiest drink out there. And she wasn't in the mood to get intoxicated and make a fool of herself in front of him. No. She raised an eyebrow at this statement to her biting. "You're going to have to tune in to find out." She said giggling slightly in then giving him quite cheeky wink. Well that sounded very suggestive. One would never notice the European accent in her voice whenever she spoke if they haven't payed attention to it. Aurelia stood a couple feet away from him, a water bottle in one hand on the other planted on her hip. Good lord. He was quite the eye candy. He had wonderful facial structure; firm lips, strong jawline and striking blue eyes. He had a nice muscular figure, just the way she liked it. He wasn't too buff too the point where he looked like some body builder or he didn't look to scrawny. This was one fine catch for her. This was a keeper...well for a while, up until she decided to ditch him and break his heart. But, oh, she wasn't going to tell him that.
"I don't plan on leaving anytime soon." She promised. Actually, Aurelia would never have the heart to leave Manuka for a long period of time, so she just planned on staying here, for majority of her life. That seemed like a good plan to her. "Like any girl, I shop." She said in a 'matter of fact' tone. There were two things Aurelia loved in this cruel, cold world. And that was money. Cha-ching. And sex. Well not exactly. There was many other 'things' that she liked, but there was nothing she loved as much as those two. Sex was /always/ fun. Thrilling and exhilarating, in a matter. And money was, well, money. It was currency. There was so much you could buy and naturally, as a girl, she loved to shop like no other. She could spend hours treasure hunting for the right pair of shoes or looking for the 'perfect' dress. They say 'money can't buy you happiness'. That saying always made the female laugh. It was ridiculous. Obviously, they couldn't find the right place to shop.
" I like to wander around town, visit museums. Swim. Oh. I cook." She said. One would believe that Aurelia was just another one of those dumb blond who could cook even if their life depended on it, but hell, she could whip up a killer meal if she wanted it.That was one talent she was very proud of, other than flirting But the blond female had left out the part that she slept around a lot and partied like no other. To some guys, that was just a turn off, so she just left it out, just keeping that piece of information away from him. She didn't want to lose her chances with Harley. "You?" She asked tilting her head slightly to the side curiously.
The male gestured for her to sit down next to him and said that he hoped he didn't smell. "I hope not." She said making her way towards him, then took a seat next to him, keeping a comfortable distance from him, not to close nor way it too far from him. Nope. He didn't smell. Good. As a matter of fact, he smelled wonderful, bit of honey suckle, cologne and aftershave. A strange, yet great combination that worked well. She folded one leg over the other, trying to keep herself composed. It took a lot of self control to not pounce on him and start kissing him hungrily. God forbid. No. She wasn't going to do that. Instead, she took a deep breath, trying to calm her stupid nerves down. Now a part of her wished she didn't invite an immortal in, cause if Harley was reading her thoughts and poking through her mind, well..her cover would be blown and that would be very unpleasant.

when the devil wants to dance with you ,YOU BETTER SAY NEVER because a dance with the devil might last you forever - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Harley couldn't help but grin impishly at her response to his inquiry. Tune in? He wouldn't mind that. Entertaining the idea through his mind, he quickly smothered it just in case Aurelia happened to be an Immortal, no she wasn't. That much he had ruled out already. Then he said something that shocked himself, "Aww...fine then."
He scolded himself, "I don't want to hold you back from anything of course, especially a job or plans." he hinted, as if just to make sure, though he highly doubted it. Don't doubt yourself man, he told himself, you're in her house, and so far he hadn't seen any pictures of her and another guy, at least a guy around their age. Shifting gently on the couch, Harley allowed his senses to take in the room, Aurelia included, as she was obviously in the room as well. The smell was nice, honeysuckle and a dash of what smelled like just a basic...light scent of flowers. Whatever they were, he didn't care, he could just easily smell them. The blonde wrinkled his nose slightly. At least he wasn't allergic to anything, as his younger brother, Grayson was allergic to sterling silver, like a werewolf, but he could still touch it and get hurt by it, just that he would need actual proper care if he did. The thing was though, Harley had discovered with their family, with an allergic reaction, they shifted into their animal. Fortunately he didn't seem to be allergic to anything - yet. Feeling his magic pulse through him slightly, he quickly smothered it, only feeling a slight spark of energy escape his hand as he dipped it behind the couch, out of Aurelia's sight - hopefully in time. "Oh...mygosh..." he flicked his hand lightly, "Shopping." he threw a teasing grin towards her, "It's only natural it would seem." he gave her a gentle grin. So she liked to explore in a way. Good, he did too. Not waste time, plus he loved sports, "What about sports?" he inquired curiously. Not that he was per se, addicted, but he did enjoy playing them for recreational purposes, though he did get a soccer scholarship as well as the Navy paying for his college, so he had been all set. The money he had managed to save up, he put towards things after graduation, though the Navy helped, and with a program once he resigned, he had been fine. Cooking had been something his ears also picked up on. Wonderful, he could cook - when he wanted, though his recipes were...limited for obvious reasons, plus his mother had always cooked, she did teach Grayson, Harley and Nathaniel some, but otherwise he had taught himself in the Navy and in college. "I'd love to try some of your, I'm sure, wonderful cooking." he threw her a light grin, then shrugged at her inquiry back towards him. "Anything and everything." he spoke, gesturing to his twitching fingers that were on the couch's back, "I suffered from...mild ADHD when I was younger, better now, but I like to...burn energy." he smiled innocently almost, "Soccer and boxing....for awhile." he shrugged, "Hiking, working, wandering around the city, sometimes visiting the nearby city too, the festivals and everything we have here are always fun too. Plus the ocean, surfing, spending time with people." The male added quickly. He realized he did do a lot when he actually didn't work. Harley chuckled as she sat by him, and he arched an eyebrow in her direction, his arm over her as she had sat moderately close to him, plus he was tall to begin with, "How long have you had Riley? And I don't smell bad, do I?" he laughed shortly, taking a swig of the water before setting it down on the table in front of him, then leaning back up and locking his eyes with Aurelia. "Riley like other dogs? Maybe Sunny can meet him...her." Harley shrugged gently, looking to Aurelia quietly. Oh yes, he certainly didn't mind spending time with her, he better not forget to get her number or he'd just end up kicking himself. wolf in sheep's clothing
Out of the corner of her gray eyes, the female swore she saw a spark come from Harley's hand. He'd even tried to hide it. She immediately froze and she felt her heart stop for a split second. Was that just her mind playing with her or was her paranoia just starting to spike up? No. No. Please don't let him be a firetamer. Anything but a firetamer please, she begged mentally in her mind. Fear crawled up her spine, sending shivers down her back. She swore she almost choked. Aurelia mentally scolded herself, saying it was just paranoia and shoved her fears aside.
The male questioned if she played any sports or not, so automatically figured that he was a jock. She laughed. "Doesn't shopping count as a sport?" She asked playfully. In her mind, yes it did. Females had to run around the stores and climbs up millions of flights of stairs. It was a total workout that burned a lot of calories and it included fun. Then she gave Harley a 'fine' look. "Fine. I play volleyball, run, swim, surf." She said, naming all the sport she plays in her spare time. Not thinking about it, she was quite in athletic girl. "I work out. A lot." Aurelia said. Yes she did. She had several reasons why. One reason because she was so shallow and cared about her looks so much. She cared about keeping in shape and keeping a nice body. Then it was the same for health, keeping a nice and healthy body. The third and last reason was because she was insecure about her body image. During her high school years, she wanted to be 'pretty', so she barely ate and became bulimic. Don't worry. She moved past that stage and went straight to work out instead of starving herself. But still, she was insecure.
Then what she did next, was entirely brave move, which took a person who had balls to do it. And of course, a bold girl like her would have the guts to do it. He was totally into her, so he wouldn't mind. Not one bit. She wasn't taking it to the next level, just giving him a little snip it, a little tease, a small temptation. What a brave soul. Aurelia got closer and leaned in. She buried her face into his side of his neck. It was then she got a huge whiff of..well...him. It was what she had caught before but intensified by several times. Oh good lord. She wasn't sure if it was his natural pheromones or his cologne. Honeysuckle and musk. What a great combination. She let her lips linger, barely brushing against his skin, there for a moment. Her breath, hot, against his neck. She knew tricks like these made guys go crazy, got their hearts pumping, made their head spin and all that great stuff.
The female pulled back a split second later and flashed Harley quite a mischievous grin and then cocked in eyebrow that asked 'you like?' or 'you want more of that?'. "You passed the test. You smell fine." She said with a simple wave of her hand. Then she held up one finger and corrected herself. "Correction. You smell wonderful." Quite honest and bold indeed. Just something to boost his ego. Guys always are into compliments. Same with the ladies too. She dropped her hand and let it return to her side. Casually, she threw her hair over her shoulder. She shifted back in her set once more, leaning against the back of the sofa once again, keeping a good distance from Harley, pretending to play innocent.
As if what she had just done before didn't happen, Aurelia pondered for a moment to find the answer to his question from before. "I had Riley for a little over three years." She said, a tad bit hesitant as if she wasn't sure about the years. Was it three years? Yeah. Shortly after her nineteenth birthday, around the same time she got this house. "Sunny can meet him." She said emphasizing on him. Yes. Even though Riley could be used as both a female and a male's name, Riley is a male dog. Maybe that's why her pet was so protective of her. And Riley did, most certainly, enjoy the company of other dogs. I mean, he was locked up in the house for a good majority of the afternoon and night because Aurelia had to work and she left guard duty to Riley. So it was rare her dog ever had company, unless she took him to the dog park or brought him to a friend's house.
Honestly, she wouldn't mind spending more time with Harley -- this good looking son of a gun. Nope. She did. Suddenly, she wanted to give all her attention to him, get to know him better, let him be her top priority. Then get him straight to bed and screw him, but she got screwed over. But there would be later, not now. There was something that was attractive about him that caught her attention, which was rare for a guy to do, since she had slept with many already. She could throw around the saying 'been there and done that'. Since she slept around, almost every single guy was the same and it was boring. And Aurelia didn't like being bored. Boredom was a waste of time. So she tried living life on the wild side, so much more interesting. And Harley, was definitely interesting. What a way to keep her entertained. I'd give him kudos for being able to hold Aurelia's attention for so long.
