The male grinned coyly as the blonde told him he had been correct about the Dhole. Excellent! Chuckling lightly, he commented, "I mean, I'm a different animal, I like to learn about the other ones that aren't..quite a popular. You know, wolves and big cats seem to be the most popular, don't they?"
he inquired, as if to get her to dare to challenge him on that comment. As they did approach his house though, with Riley with them, Harley keenly watched him, wondering how he'd react to Sunny. All he knew was that if Riley made an attack towards Sunny, Harley wasn't going to be a happy camper. Pushing that thought from his mind, Harley spoke to Aurelia, "You look nice, Aurelia." sincerity painting his voice neatly. Unlocking his door, he grinned sheepishly at her unpacking comment, "True, very true, but...I like to think I'm making progress, I believe only..three boxes left." he winked, opening the door and patting Sunny gently, before his attention obviously got caught by Riley. Sunny was eager for this, most of the time the other police and FBI dogs were all boring and wanting to get the job done, he loved to play. Harley made things all a game to the dog, make it easier on him to get things done and not to let the dog go crazy searching all the time. Watching Sunny nip Riley playfully, inviting him to play, Harley nodded, "Sure does seem like it. Would you want a drink? I'm just gonna, clean up a bit." he smiled lightly. Sunny whined, before taking off and bringing back a tug of war toy he and Harley played with a lot, offering it up to Riley to play with him with. Good, Harley had been worried there for a moment. He gestured to the couch, "Feel free to make yourself at home, I won't take too long." he mused, then grabbing a cup and pouring some of the dog food into Sunny's bowl, who seemed too preoccupied with Riley at the moment to care about eating. Whatever, Harley knew the dog would eat when he wanted. Heading to his bedroom, he closed his laptop, and realized a file was out in the living room. Damn, oh well, just as long as Aurelia didn't open it, it'd all be good. It was just a file that had the post-engagement stuff all in it, and Sydney's photo. Swearing, Harley quickly cleaned up, knowing it had to be in the kitchen where he last was when he'd been on the phone with Jolene, as she had said Sydney could meet him when she got older. Whatever. Heading back out with a fresh shirt and underwear, and teeth and everything, only a few minutes had passed. Feeling much better, Harley's eyes landed on Aurelia and tensed, quickly grabbing the folder, he stuffed it under his arm, "I...tend to bring work home with me sometimes." he grinned weakly, glancing swiftly towards one of the boxes he hadn't unpacked. It held a lot of his computer junk, the stuff that he also used to help him hack work with companies and see what was going on. He made good money doing it too, and he wasn't too worried about it, the FBI tended to back their people up, especially when they were the ones who assigned him to that specific assignment. Blue eyes landed on Aurelia's gray ones and he inquired, "Ready to head out? I'm sure we could leave Riley and Sunny here, looks like they're getting along fine, and there's a dog door Sunny can get through, so I'm sure Riley can." though it was also one that allowed him to lock it when he wanted too, but now he left it unlocked. Approaching Aurelia, personally Harley was quite excited to spend the rest of the day with her, get to know her better. Letting her make the decisions, Harley went ahead and asked then, "So Aurelia, have any siblings? Oh, and feel free to pick what we do, perhaps we could go to the beach later, but it's all up to you." [/blockquote][/blockquote] plenty of WORDSanyone! <3 TAGGEDcoming soon <3 OUTFITtemplate by LISA@GBBS, lyrics by immortal technique CREDITsorry if it sucks o.o NOTES

wolf in sheep's clothing
She glanced around the house, just skimming over the details quickly. She shook her head when Harley offered to get her a beverage to drink. This was quite a nice place, a tad bit smaller than hers, but it was good enough for at least..two people. Riley soon ran after Sunny was the German Shepard ran off to get a toy. Well those two seemed to be getting along a whole lot better than Harley and Riley were. That was a good thing too. She felt a sigh of relief escape her lips. Riley soon bit the other end of the toy that Sunny was offering him. The canine soon began to pull.
Soon after Harley headed towards his bedroom, her gray eyes trailed over to the file that was on the kitchen table, just calling out for her to look through it. It was just there. Just there. Curiosity crawled up her spine. No! She mentally bitchslapped herself. It was his business. It wasn't hers. B-but what if he was hiding something like he was? She was hiding something that he would never find out, until later. Feelings mentally defeated, she stood there in his place, eyes locked on the file. Slowly and silently, the shifter walked over the tabled and opened the file. She took out a sensible stack of photo, since it was the first thing she had grabbed. Aurelia glanced towards the first photo, the first one of the stack.
Horror soon plastered on her features. Oh god. Her plump lips parted in shock as she flipping through the numerous numbers of photos of a baby in some other woman's arms. A very pretty lady to be exact. Gorgeous with features that would easily rival against Aurelia's. He flipped to the next photo; a picture of Harley with the same baby in his arms. Harley...was a father? Better yet. Was that woman the mother? He was a father! A father! He was supposed to be taking care of his child, but no, he was here, flirting with her. He had a child! He couldn't just leave the child alone to be raised by a single mother. Her bottom lip quivered a tad bit. The female held the photo carefully between her fingers and she set it down to the side, not wanting to see it. She flipped through the other papers in the folder. She pulled out a letter, just getting ready to skim over it. She zoned out, listening carefully for Harley. She didn't want him to see that she was snooping around and going through his privacy. Soon, she heard Harley's footsteps becoming louder. The female slipped the papers back in the file quickly and flung herself towards the sofa in the living room, leaving no evidence behind that she was going through that file. Part of her wished she haven't seen the file but the other knew it was for the better.
The moment he exited the room, Harley immediately strode towards the file she was just looking through, snatched it up and tucked it under his arm protectively, like he didn't want her to see it. Too late. It was obvious that he was hiding something that was in there. And she knew why. Soon after, a believable excuse flew right out of his mouth. If she didn't know any better, she would have believed his lie. Work? That was definitely not work. Unless he was an investigator and investigating some crime scene. but Aurelia highly doubted it especially after she had seen the picture and the letters in there. Her gray eyes met up with those wonderfully blue ones for a split second, and she tucked her fear in the back of her mind, not letting Harley see it in her eyes. She held herself back from going right up to him and yelling at him about some fatherly duties or something. Why did she care so much? Because her father was an useless ass and no other child deserved to follow Aurelia's footsteps. She forced a quite genuine looking smile, hiding whatever she was feeling."I'm ready if you're ready." She said, sounding excited. Swiftly, she ran her fingers through the ends of her hair.
They soon began to walk outside, leaving their dogs at his house. Siblings. Honestly, she considered herself an only child because she only had a half sister, who was a pure bitch. Even bitchier than her, if that was even possible. Her half sister was the offspring of her cheating father and another woman. She wouldn't go as far as saying that she hated her sister, but Aurelia loathed her. But believer or not, there was a time when her sister was her best friend the the most trusted person in her life. "I have a half sister." Aurelia scowled, trying to cover the hatred and malice in her voice, but she wasn't so sure that she had succeeded. Aurelia gave Harley a sidelong glance, smothering her fury and then asked. "You?" Trying to keep her mind from the past, the shifter decided to turn her full attention towards Harley.

As they headed to leave the house, Harley gave Sunny a look, "Behave yourself now."
The german shepherd gave him an offended look, as he tugged on the toy with Riley. Good, at least Riley liked Sunny. As long as he didn't hurt Sunny or bite Harley, he'd be okay with the dog, maybe he just needed some time to get used to Harley. Yeah, he told himself. That's exactly what it was. As he then locked the door, Harley's attention fell onto Aurelia where it stayed. Personally he felt moderately bad for not telling Aurelia about his ex-fiancee and his daughter, but it wasn't exactly the thing that most people would want to know on a first date. Tended to probably turn girls away. But hey, his daughter was happy, healthy and being taken care of. Harley had the chance to go to her 3rd birthday party, and he got to meet Jolene's husband, he was a good guy, a bit weird, mostly just his senses of humor, but a good guy and he doted on Sydney, which was what Harley had been looking for. Oh well, then Jolene, the bitch. She took Sydney from him, and otherwise refused to let him see his daughter at all besides when she's been born, after he got back from his tour before she left him. Whatever, he told himself. Jolene was in the past, and Aurelia was in the present and - hopefully, most likely - his future. He sure hoped so anyway, he knew he'd like to get to know her better. Then as they exited his house, he listened to her explain, a sister, or technically a half-sister, and his curiosity told him to ask how that had happened, but decided against it. Instead, he nodded and inquired, "She younger or older?" He was betting younger, but who knew. Then his siblings. Chuckling, Harley answered, "Two brothers, my mom wanted at least a girl, but she got all us boys." he grinned, his mom loved them anyway, "I have an older brother, Nathaniel, and then Grayson, he's the youngest." he spoke gently, stuffing one hand into the front pocket on his jeans, "I'm pretty good at resolving conflicts, as you can imagine." he chuckled lightly. He let her ask something else if she desired before he paused and gestured towards the pier that also held a few arcade games, and some random vendors for them to possibly get lunch if they desired. "I am glad to see Riley seems to like Sunny." he laughed lightly, "I"ll admit I was worried there for a few." he grinned innocently, "Want to walk on the pier?" he inquired, gesturing towards it, allowing Aurelia to make the decision as to what exactly they did. wolf in sheep's clothing
Aurelia knew that Harley was tempted to ask how in the world did she have a half sister? Yes. It was a good question. Her father was a cheating bastard. That was all she knew. She wasn't so sure what had happened but that piece of information was the only one her mother had revealed to her. "She's a couple months younger than me" She said, shaking her head. Then she listened intently to Harley as he explained that he had two brothers. She automatically assumed that they were just hybrids too.
Soon there was silence between them, like Harley was going to give her a chance to gun him down with questions. She wanted to call him out, ask him about the file on the table, about him being a father, but she stopped herself from doing anything. He didn't know that she went through that file. He thought his secrets were safe. And Aurelia was sure that he wouldn't like it if he found out that she snooped through his personal business. "What do you work as, hero?" She asked curiously. After she had seen his FBI ID peeking out of his pants pocket from earlier this morning, she wanted to know what he chose as a career choice. She was curious, since he had told her that he spent his day saving people.
She laughed when Harley admitted that he was worried about their dogs. "I'm sure they're fine." Sunny and Riley seemed to get along quite fine. Really. The duo didn't need to worry about the canines back to his house. She was sure that no conflict wouldn't rise between their dogs. Soon, Harley suggested that the two of them should go to the pier. Aurelia tilted her head towards the pier and smile. "Let's go." She said, like an excited five year old. And yes, she was actually excited.
As they approach the pier, some guy grabbed Aurelia's wrist, stopping her in her tracks. A firm grip that wouldn't let her budge. The female shot a glare at the newcomer who just came in and stopped her. From what her mind processed, it was a guy a little shorter than Harley, dark hair and light green eyes. Attractive guy. "Aurelia." The guy said, calling out her name. Oh god. He knew her name. He knew her by her real name, not the alias she had gone by. He knew. The worse part was that she had no idea who he was! Better yet, she did['t even know his name. She scrambled through her mind, trying to remember who the hell he was or how she met him. He didn't look once bit familiar. Nope. Didn't recognize him. The shifter finally figured that he was just some guy she had slept with. He gave her terrible sex and made a bad impression. That's why she didn't remember. Then again, rarely did this girl ever remember who the hell she slept with. They were all guys. All just one night stands. Or just flings.
"I woke up and you weren't there." That happened way too often for her. She would leave a guys house if he was bad at sex. She would leave before he even woke up. No cuddling after. She just wanted to go. And this guy right here, was just one of those guys who were just that bad. Her heart sank when those words came right out of his mouth. She couldn't let Harley know about her 'slut' status here in Manuka. It would just blow all her chances with him. "You didn't call back. You said you would" The male said. Ugh. Clingy guys. Aurelia laughed and waved her hand. Rarely did she ever call back a guy. And now, she had to think of some stupid excuse. "Sorry. It just slipped my mind. Silly me." She said, knowing that she could easily play this off.
"Call me sometimes when you have free time. We can hang out" It wasn't a question, but instead a demand. And in her head, that decoded as 'when you're free, let's hook up again. No. She didn't want to hook up with again. He was pitiful at it. "Uh." The female said, pondering what the hell to say next. Make up some kind of reason for not calling this mystery man and try to get him to go away. "This is my boyfriend."Huh? Boyfriend? That was the first thing that came up to her head! And the best way to get some guy to back off. The male let go of Aurelia wrist and there was a look of shock on his face. She grabbed Harley's hand, holding it carefully in her free hand, their fingers intertwined. She shot Harley a look that begged' play along with me on this one'. "I'm not sure he's would like me hanging out with other guys, Right babe?" Aurelia said, glancing towards Harley. Babe. Oh my gosh. She just called him babe. She never called anyone babe, well maybe her ex, but that was too long ago. It was just an impulse thing. She didn't think.
He glanced at Harley and then back towards Aurelia. The male looked upset, stuffed one hand in his pocket and ran his free hand through his hair. "I understand. Bye." He said, walking away from the blond 'couple'. Her gray eyes watched his figure grow smaller and smaller as more distance was put between them. Aurelia took a deep breath, and finally realized that she was holding her breath. She was actually nervous. She let go of Harley's hand and stared at him. blinking a couple of times, waiting for his reaction to what the hell just happened. "Sorry." She blurted out, just throwing an apology out there because she felt like it was needed. It was embarrassing to run into a past hookup when you're with your current one. Aurelia never thought this would have happened. Even worse, the scene took place right in front of Harley. She hoped that it wouldn't affect his views of her. Oh no. That would be bad.

when the devil wants to dance with you ,YOU BETTER SAY NEVER because a dance with the devil might last you forever - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
As the duo strolled along, Harley became aware of just how many people exactly were looking their way, granted two blondes walking together wasn't a common site, but really? He felt himself fall into jealousy's snare upon seeing a few guys glance her way as they walked, and it took a lot of him telling himself no to not do anything stupid. Well, not as in stupid, but in the fact that he didn't want to randomly grab Aurelia's hand or wrap an arm around her waist, silently telling them to back off. Blue eyes darkened slightly, though he lightened up the moment Aurelia inquired about his job. Grinning shyly, Harley mused, "I....am allowed to say I work within the intelligence department for the government."
he winked, "Sunny is there too, as they like to, I suppose, loan me to other departments a lot." he shrugged gently, as he didn't mind it, especially getting in the field and not being by a computer a lot. Even though he was good with them, Harley still liked the action, the adrenaline he got when chasing down the guy. He couldn't help but nod as she mentioned the dogs. He wasn't worried about them, but he was worried about Riley and how he'd act once they separated the dogs. Or Aurelia could spend the night with him if she wanted, though he was sad he did have to work tomorrow, get a few things done, most likely be able to work from his place. Yeah, that sounded good, the perk on working on Saturdays a lot too, working from home, which meant usually a shirt and then his boxers, since he rarely would need to worry about anyone seeing his pants if he had to use a webcam for something. Suddenly as they were coming up to the pier, Aurelia suddenly stopped, and the male turned just to see another guy, shorter than him - no surprise there, being 6'4", and he had dark hair with green eyes, his hand around Aurelia's wrist. Harley growled quietly, "Back off." though by that time he realized this guy was obviously...or had been with Aurelia. Well, okay, but woke up and she wasn't there? Glancing swiftly towards the blonde beside him, before she suddenly shot him a swift look and slapped the label on him "boyfriend." Well - he'd take that. Going with it, he couldn't help but feel his ego confidence shoot up a bit when she called him babe and boyfriend within thirty seconds, though he shook his head, taking a daring step towards the male, "I don't think I would." he stated, remaining like a statue till the guy backed off. Good, Harley hadn't been anticipating something like that, but whatever, though that did raise the question, did Aurelia usually just skip out? Granted he had been at her place, but wouldn't she just kick him out? Or did she tend to go to the guy's house? Curiously glancing her way, as her hand then escaped from his, the blonde inquired, "Mind if I ask what that was about?" He wouldn't push of course, but he was curious all the same. The guy, he had been glad though, hadn't become angry that Aurelia had a "boyfriend" or whatever. He did become curious about what they were. A fling? Or something...personally he wanted to know that too, but he'd prefer to save that for later, right now he just wanted to get to know Aurelia as a person, nudging her playfully, Harley inquired, "Want to play some games?" he grinned boyishly, "They give free desserts for prizes if you ask." he chuckled lightly, as some of the games could be combined for children and adults, like the mini bowling and all that, as he walked next to Aurelia, keeping his pace to match her's, making it more comfortable for her. "Did you always want to be a bartender? I'll admit, it's a pretty good job, and I figure you must enjoy it." Now he felt like he had competition though, like he wanted to show Aurelia he was better. Or that might be his ego confidence talking, Harley could feel the basic want, that he'd prefer Aurelia to be with him. No, he told himself, don't be doing that. Her past was her business, much like his was his. wolf in sheep's clothing
The moment the male grabbed his wrist, holding her back, Aurelia noticed Harley was starting to get a little protective over her, his body tensing up, and demanding that the newcomer should back off. Oh, it was wonderful to be a woman. It always made her day ten-thousand times better when men fought over her. Something about being seen as a worthy prize made her blood heat up, just got her heart racing. It was flattering for her, knowing that she was attractive or interesting enough to be wanted. She adored the attention placed right on her. Better yet, two attractive men demanding for her attention. It was lovely.
It was a wonderful trait to be quick minded and that was how Harley was, reacting immediately to the situation. He managed to catch the look that she had shot him and knew what to do, playing the role as her boyfriend. Lovely. Cause she didn't want to deal with a dumb blond who didn't know what the hell they were doing or was slow. It was a good thing Harley knew what to do. Mentally, thanking him, the female squeeze his hand. He was playing the 'boyfriend' role perfectly; being protecting and charming. But part of her wasn't sure if he was really acting or not. Maybe. Oh. Did he really want a serious relationship with her or what? Did he really want to mark her as personal property -- his property? To be able to call her his 'babe'. No. She wasn't the type to be 'owned' by someone.
Doubt must have entered Harley's head. There must have been millions of questions he wanted to ask. What a turn of events. They just had run into a past hookup. A past hookup whom she didn't even recognize! That just made the situation ten times worse. Harley must be letting his imagination run wild, just trying to think of the several different scenarios that her and that guy had. The hybrid was just over thinking, probably telling himself that he had some competition to beat out, to over succeed. This mystery man even had the guts to mention that she left before he woke up and didn't even call him back. How dare he mention her whore-ish intentions, Oops. She did it on that purpose too, hauling herself out of his bed when the sun rose and threw away his number so she would never have to have some kind of contact with him. By some twist of fate, Aurelia managed to run into him again and she dreaded it. But the situation didn't apply to Harley at all. No it didn't. She was actually excited to spend more time to get to know him. She enjoyed Harley's company. A lot. More than a normal person should, anyways.
She shook her head. She hoped that Harley wouldn't ask what the hell just happened, but he did. He questioned her, obviously wanting an answer. "Just someone I had some not-so-good history with" She explained, giving him the brutal truth. She wasn't going to go into detail, telling him right off the bat that he was just another one night stand. She didn't want to. But she would if Harley asked. Even though this whole thing was just another con for her, she was vicious with the truth. If anyone called her a liar when she was telling the straight up truth, she would become furious. Now she was sure Harley had his fair share of hookups, so he wouldn't be one to judge her. "You know you don't have to worry about it, right?" She asked, pushing out her bottom lip into a seductive little pout, hoping it would convince him. Her gray eyes locked on to those wonderful blues ones for a split seconds, but broke away, afraid that he would be able to figure out something; that she was hiding something from him. They say eyes are the windows to one's soul and Aurelia was a strong believer for that saying.
Aurelia glanced towards Harley and gave him the 'really' look when he asked if she had always wanted to be a bartender. She didn't even realize that people got drunk up until she was a young teenage. "No. As a kid, I didn't wake up saying 'i want to be serving booze to people when i grow up'." Aurelia admitted, a joking tone lacing her voice. That was definitely not her dream job or an idea she had for a job. She paused for a moment and then laughed lightly, trying to remember what she wanted to be when she grew up. Honestly, she had several but there was one job she wanted very badly. "I wanted to be a editor for some author or a magazine." The shifter stated, giving a small nod to confirm the facts. "Did you dream of working for the FBI? Why did you even start working for them?" She asked, turning the question against him. Yes. She wanted to know why Harley even chose that kind of job as a career choice. It wasn't a common choice either, just like his chosen animal to shift into.
Then the female though back to this last question that he had asked her. If she wanted to play any of those games. Oh no. She would fail terribly. She couldn't aim if her life depended on it, well maybe she could, but she figured since Harley was part of the FBI and was in the Navy, he could use a gun. Then that meant he would be amazing at those aiming games that were set up in those small booths along the piers. "Would you play a game and win me one of those stereotypical teddy bear in those romantic comedy movies?" She asked, giggling. She ran her fingers through her hair and gave him a sheepish, shy smile.

The male snorted slightly as the guy walked away. Good, he wasn't worried about someone trying to take him on - he had a pretty good feeling he'd win, unless of course there was a vampire involved, then he'd need to resort to magic to kicking their ass. Blue eyes glanced towards Aurelia's gray ones when she explained a history, a not-so-good one, "Don't worry, I definitely understand."
Even though his past still lurked in his present once a year or so, though at least Jolene never hit him up for child support, especially since Sydney didn't carry his last name and Jolene was married. Whatever, he stuffed his now free hand into the pocket on his jeans as he then chuckled lightly as she told him he didn't need to worry, with a pout added onto it, "I promise I will be able to sleep at night." he teased lightly. As they continued along the pier, Harley chuckled lightly at her teasing, "Hey, you have a good job though, I'm sure you get tips." he gave her a gentle look, as she most likely would if she turned her flirting on. Listening to her explain her job she had wanted to be when she grew up, something with journalism it sounded like, Harley nodded. He could see Aurelia doing something along those lines, journalism and all that. Definitely. Then about him, and she confirmed about the FBI and his job. Pausing slightly, he knew he wasn't technically supposed to tell her all of what he did, but nonetheless, he wasn't too worried about someone randomly hearing it and labeling him as a threat. He only became one once he tracked someone down and no one else found someone like Harley could with a computer. "They offered me the job once I wasn't with the Navy. Plus here...allowed me to move away-" he cut himself off, not wanting to tell Aurelia all about his previous ex-fiancee and all those problems. Jolene. Ugh. Harley pushed those thoughts away and looked to the beautiful blonde next to him, "I was thinking of staying with the Navy till I could retire, but the FBI came along after I got out and I've been with them since I've been here in Manuka." the male shrugged gently. He didn't mind it, he was personally okay with it in a way, mainly because he got to get away from Montana, the state he hated, and secondly, Manuka was wonderful, even if it was filled to the brim with tons of supernaturals, all not so nice. Pausing by a few random vendors and games, the blonde cocked an eyebrow at her question. A stereotypical teddy bear? Laughing gently, he mused, "If you want me to." he stepped up to a shooting game, and set down the three dollars for five shots to knock down four bottles it seemed. Lifting the b-b gun, the hybrid grinned impishly as he poised with the rifle, a flashback of him with his father when he was about 15 in Montana. His father, Harley and Grayson were learning to shoot rifles and pistols that day, practicing with skeet and just random targets their father placed out at different distances. Harley and Grayson loved those. Knocking the bottles off the board they were placed on, Harley gave the younger guy, probably about high school or college-aged a sheepish look, "You like that one?" He gestured to the large bear, as the kid got it down, looking between the two as Harley offered it to Aurelia, "For you, want me to carry it?" he laughed gently, running a quick hand through his hair before he mused, "Have you been in any other state or place for awhile? Like, vacation or out of the States perhaps?" [/blockquote][/blockquote] plenty of WORDSanyone! <3 TAGGEDcoming soon <3 OUTFITtemplate by LISA@GBBS, lyrics by immortal technique CREDITnone NOTES

wolf in sheep's clothing
Harley soon explain that he was offered a job with the government once he got out of the Navy. She pushed her hair away from her eyes, tucking a strand behind her ear. "It's a good thing the FBI offered you a job here." Aurelia stated, feeling the slightest bit grateful for it. I mean, if he wasn't here, than she wouldn't have been here with him, or even worse, she would never had met Harley. Ever. And she wasn't sure how often she got to meet a guy like him. She had slept with several males on a daily basis. It was a stupid habit she had to break soon, if she goign to start seeing Harley more often. But never once, maybe in the past, did she meet a guy that she wanted to stick around a little longer than the others.
And so, he went along with her suggestion, playing once of those games that was set up along the pier. The sound of the b-b gun rung through her sensitive ears. Her gray eyes flicked towards teh target that were quickly being knock down one by one. Wow. Just like what she had assumed, Harley was good, really good, at aiming and shooting. With the five bullets he had to shoot with, he shot down five bottles with ease. Aurelia couldn't do it even if her life depends on it. She had considered taking a shooting class and buy a gun for self protection. But honestly, she didn't need to gun to protect herself,. She had enhanced speed and strength, which she could use to her advantage to protect herself."You should teach me how to do that one day." She said referring to shooting. She wouldn't mind learning, as long as Harley was her instructor.
A small giggle soon came from the shifter as Harley had won her one of those stuffed bears. She felt a like a little kid again, lighthearted and not worried about all the cruel world. It was feeling she haven't felt in a while. A long while. It had been much to long. It felt strange, honestly, it did. It felt different and foreign. It was this feeling she got when she was around Harley. The feeling that she would be able to act like herself, let herself be unguarded and vulnerable. And he wouldn't hurt her. But she couldn't let herself take any chances.
The hybrid offered the bear to her. Damn. That was a huge prize. "Thank you" The female said, taking the stuffed animal as a sign that she was going to hold it and tucked the extremely large bear under her arm. There was a time, along time ago, when she had a bear like this. Her ex boyfriend, her high school sweetheart had won it at a carnival. And Aurelia had treasured it like a good girlfriend. Well, up until he cheated on her. Immediately, after she burned all the gifts he had gave her, trying to efface him from her life. Oh god. Why the hell was Aurelia thinking about the past at times like this? She smothered those thoughts and tossed in in the back of her mind, hoping that they would stay there.
Even though she lived and resided in Manuka her whole life, she had traveled to many other places in hope of some kind of new adventure. As a small child, she always moved back and forth from her mother's a father's house as they fought for her full custody. Whenever she was with her mother, her mother usually dragged her to be away from Manuka, traveling a lot to islands and luxury areas, trying to escape all the problems that her mother had. Then by the time she was almost a young teenage, right before the accident with the firetamer happened, the government concluded that she should stay with her father because he was the better parent. Pft. As if. She would have chosen to stay with her mother if she had the choice, but they said she was much to young and feeble to make her own choices. So she was forced to stay with that bastard of a father. "I traveled a lot when I lived with my mother." Aurelia admitting. Her father didn't like to travel as much as her mother did because he had some fatherly duties to do.
The female strode so that in front of Harley and turned around, so she was steadily walking backwards, holding the bear in font of her. Quickly, she threw a glance over her shoulder to check if she was going to run into anyone or not. Good. The road was clear and there was nothing she could trip over to make a huge fool of herself. That would be quite unpleasant. "I got a secret I want to tell you" She blurted out playfully and then threw him on of those cheeky, flirtatious winks. Now this wasn't going to be one of those super deep dark secrets that she hid from everyone. It was just going to be a playful, silly yet serious one.

He couldn't agree more about the government having offered him a job personally. Though it had been here, he hadn't heard of Manuka before, and though the FBI was eager to have him, they offered him a bit more money to come here, even if that hadn't been the reason. The main reason was so that he could get away from everything. Plus now, if he hadn't moved here, he wouldn't have been able to meet Aurelia. Blue eyes shifted to her gray ones as she commented on the FBI. He nodded gently, "Definitely, I'm quite glad I came here, I wouldn't have been able to meet all the people I've met, you too."
he grinned innocently. It was true. He was particularly glad that he had been able to be given the opportunity to come here and do all what he needed to do really. Especially his job, and his "job on the side" for some extra money never hurt either. Not especially when it was his passion to mess with computers and security systems and all that fun stuff. "I'd love to show you." he commented, his eyes landing back on the cheap b-b guns they used for the games at the fairs and things such as that. He remembered his dad teaching him and his brothers a few tricks to be able to win those games, to not actually aim where you wanted, take the first shot to make sure it at least landed to see how the sight was, then go from there. Plus, being with shifter blood for the boys from their father came in handy, with those enhanced senses and all that. "Have you shot a gun before? Or...well, if you have, what kind?" Not like he was implying anything, he was just purely curious. Sometimes it varied, especially depending on Aurelia's whole background and all that too. So far he knew that she had a younger half sister and that she worked. Then her parents, that was something he wanted to know, but obviously wouldn't tell her. Listening to her explain the traveling bit with her mother, Harley inquired, his eyes shifting to the bear in her arms before back to her gray eyes, "Do you mind if I ask how long you were with your mother?" He hoped it wasn't horribly personal, or wouldn't upset her. That was the last thing he wanted to do, was upset Aurelia. Personally he didn't care if they happened to be in public or not, but it was the fact that he might upset her was that made him worried. He never wanted to see Aurelia get hurt, by anyone, him included. Suddenly, as one hand fell into his pocket, as she walked ahead of him and then proceeded to go ahead and tell him she had a secret. Like one of those playful, adorable secrets girls had it seemed. Harley cocked an eyebrow and inquired, "Oh really? I'm quite excited to know this...secret of yours." He winked coyly, before swiftly wrapping an arm around Aurelia, and threatening playfully, "I might toss you over, I'll keep the bear up here, keep him dry." he teased, shortly releasing her lightly, as a wind rushed off the ocean, enjoying that fresh smell of the ocean air, "I'm good with secrets." [/blockquote][/blockquote] plenty of WORDSanyone! <3 TAGGEDcoming soon <3 OUTFITtemplate by LISA@GBBS, lyrics by immortal technique CREDITgood lord, i'm sorry love. but i didn't wanna leave you hangin' too long. skip ahead if you want <3 NOTES

wolf in sheep's clothing
A wide, stupid little grin was soon jumped upon her features when Harley agreed to teach her how to shoot, aim and all that jazz. It was thrilling and exciting that she managed to score, able to spend more time with Harley. She got excited for this? Oh god. What was happening to her? It terrified her right now. The fact that she was willing to do something just because another male enjoyed it. She was a selfish being. And now...she was being caring. Part of her was starting to freak out, but another part, was okay with it. Most of the time, Aurelia would head off to spend a whole load of cash on useful articles of clothes that would cost a whole fortune. But now she wanted to go shooting. Damn. That was different and definitely a big change for her. And it scared the shit out of her.
The female gave him a shocked and questioning look when he asked if she had ever shot a gun before. She looked appalled and confused. Did she really look like the type of girl to have shot a gun? Then again, no one really knew. Looks were definitely deceiving. "Shot...a..gun? No. Never." Aurelia said shaking her head. Of course, she didn't need to ask Harley if he had ever shot a gun before because it was obvious that he had. He was such a good shooter, showing that he had experience and he probably shot a gun before when he was on duty. Now this girl didn't even know how to hold a gun properly. Because of her keen senses and enhanced abilities, the shifter never felt the need to use man made weapons. She would take of herself with the inhuman strength she was given. She's never shot a gun but someone had shot a gun at her. Damned hunters. Stupid beings that were got to get eery single supernatural, just slaughtering every single one they got their hands on and killing the para norms right on the spot, whether they were innocent or not.
Harley managed to catch the fact that her parents were divorced when she explained that she used to go on vacation a lot when she lived with her mother. He managed to put all the pieces of the puzzles together. No. This wasn't a sensitive topic for her. She just lived with it. It wasn't like if she mourned over it, her parents would have gotten back together and remarried. So there was no point to be sad about it. "Up until I was eleven. Then I had to move with my father." She explained, but when she said father, Aurelia cringed the slightest bit and her nose wrinkled in disgust. If she actually had a choice, she would have chosen to stay with her mother, instead of her father. She wouldn't go as far as to saying she hated that bastard, but she strongly disliked him. That was more of the word she was looking for.
A small tiny gasp escaped her lips when Harley wrapped an arm around her torso, bringing her the slightest bit closer towards him. There was only that bear keeping them away from each other, putting a space between their bodies. She held the stuffed bear close to her torso with one arm, gripping on to it tightly so it wouldn't fall. With her free hand, she held one finger up to Harley's lips as if to silence him. It was signal that she wanted to speak. "I like you, Harley. I would like to see you again" She stated. Oh yes. This was a huge secret for her. She felt like a elementary school student, admitting to her crush that she actually had some kind of feelings for him. She felt..nervous? She felt like a kid! A child! So nervous and feeble. A girl like her wasn't supposed to be like this. Usually, she was strictly a one night stand or a friends with benefits type of girl. But maybe, just maybe, she wanted something more with him. Maybe Harley would be that only exception.
She flashed him a weak and shy smile. "This stays between you and me." Aurelia said, giving him a little flirtatious wink. Then to put a small emphasis, she was gesturing at herself and then towards him with her pointer finger. Her arm then returned to her side. Who would have thought? Who would have knew? There was a guy that she was actually interested in, to keep as a fling for while. It would be like...or a relationship. No! She smashed those feelings down faster than one could blink. She was denying it, smothering it and twisted the truth. That's right. He didn't snatch her heart away or sweep her off her feet. Never. Just no. He was just there for her entertainment. Just another boy toy for her. Harley was no different from the others.

On the receiving end of her questioning look about shooting a gun, Harley shrugged gently, before he then commented, "You never know who's shot a gun."
he winked, a fond, gentle smile gracing his lips as he then tuned in when she spoke. So she hadn't. Sounded good, then he'd definitely start her off with a gun that didn't give much kick, his Glock 23 certainly did, so he'd probably find his .22 or his .20 for the rifle, most likely the pistol .22, since his shotgun was with his parents who didn't live in Manuka. Unlike him and his brother. As they strolled together, Harley then cocked an eyebrow at the blonde next to him and the bear that was between them. "I'm more than happy to carry that for you." he spoke gently. Then they got onto the subject of her parents and all that. He wouldn't push, if she wanted to talk, she could, but he wasn't going to stand here and demand an answer from the blonde. That just wouldn't be good. The hybrid instead just relaxed and heard her answer about her father and a slight cringe follow. Curiously, Harley inquired, "You two okay now?" meaning he could figure she probably hadn't been a big fan of him, but that didn't mean things couldn't be patched up between them. Either way, Harley was only curious, wanted to get to know more about Aurelia, what made her tick. What made her, her simply. He was going to ask her something, before the blonde had placed her finger over his lips, shushing him. The male paused, eyeing the woman next to him quietly and curiously. What was she going to say? The duo paused in their walking together as Aurelia then spoke, saying she liked him. She'd better be careful, she'd make his ego swell. Not that it already wasn't or anything. He grinned impishly and kissed her finger gently before he replied, "Wonderful, because I'd like to see you again too, Aurelia." Harley commented gently. Then her finger fell from his face as she told him to keep this between the both of them. Why? Did she expect him to go on - god forbid - Facebook or Tweet this? Please. He didn't find those things useful anyway besides for celebrities to make their fans squeal like fangirls. Whatever the reason they used it, Harley refused to. The blonde wrinkled his nose slightly though he gave Aurelia a gentle nod, a reassuring one, "Of course, Aurelia." he promised gently, as he then began to walk again with her, his arm around her, holding her closer, probably smashing the bear a bit between them, but he didn't care. He just wanted to spend time with Aurelia. "I have work tomorrow at 8, maybe want to grab dinner tonight or sometime this week?" He asked, wanting to take her on a proper date as well. One where she could dress up if she liked, though he knew she'd look with with or without anything on. Blue eyes landed on her own gray ones curiously before Harley commented, matching his pace with hers, "A friend invited me over for a little party they're having, a pool party, we can go if you'd like, go swim, and you could meet one of my brothers." Harley laughed lightly, "Only a suggestion, as I'm free for the day for you." [/blockquote][/blockquote] plenty of WORDSanyone! <3 TAGGEDcoming soon <3 OUTFITtemplate by LISA@GBBS, lyrics by immortal technique CREDIT-jabs harley- D: NOTES

wolf in sheep's clothing
Hastily, she shook her head at this question; if her and her father were on ‘good terms now. Hell no. As if. She’d rather roll over and play dead like a possum instead of trying to rebuild some kind of functioning relationship with that cheating bastard. “No.” She said, looking a tad bit annoyed with Harley’s question. She tried so hard to hold herself back from rolling her eyes. Aurelia didn’t want a relationship with her dad. She didn’t need to be daddy’s little girl. She just hated that man, even if his blood was streaming right through her veins, even if he had the similar DNA to her. She didn’t care. The only feeling she felt towards her father was hatred. Her father did try to rebuild their relationship several times, but she had turned him down with lashing words.
Listening to the male respond to her words, there female already knew what he was going to say. He wanted to see her again and all that kind of charming words that she had heard way too many times to count. Rarely, was there ever a guy that would turn her down. If there was something she wanted, one way or another, she’d find a way to get it. And that was it; with just some simple words and using her sex appeal, she had caught him in her snare. She managed to catch him, to make him hers. A feeling of success rushed through her, just giving her even more confidence. But she didn’t even need anymore confidence. She was already cocky confident enough.
The moment he asked her out for dinner, the female grinned from ear to ear, looking very excited for what was to come or what the future had in store for her. “I’d love to.”The shifter replied. Why in the world would she turn down an invitation like that? A date? Right, she would never turn down something like that. Never in her right mind. Even if she had gone on several dinner dates, she would still have accepted the invitation from Harley. Especially if it was from a guy that she was actually interested in. It would be stupid and crazy if she just rejected him. Hah. No. She was not going to lose some guy like that. Harley was good looking, had manners and was especially good in bed. Mmm. And great sex was always a plus for her.
She always liked to play dress up, spending her sweet time to plan out some kind of outfit to wear for that day. Aurelia would take the time to carefully and strategically choose an outfit that were just accentuate her figure, feminity and sex appeal. And she just loved her date’s reactions to her choices of clothing. She adored the way their eyes just wandered over her, just imagining what was under there. Most of the time they were speechless, but moments after, they would recover from the impact and suddenly sputter some kind of compliment. A date was always fun because sex, well for her, was a must after it. It was her way for saying ‘thank you’ to the guy who took the effort and time to plan out some date for her. And many guys enjoyed it. But if it was a crappy date, she’d dismiss the male with a quick kiss on the cheek and never see him again.
A pool party? The female raised an eyebrow in curiosity at his suggestion. She giggled playfully, and her gray eyes flicked towards him. “Let’s go. I always love a good party.” It sounded thrilling and exciting. She adored parties. It meant fun, alcohol, hot guys and bitchy girls. In the end, it added all up to drama, which gave her some kind of adrenaline rush. Ah. She loved the drama that took place between people. And a pool party? That was even more exciting. Everyone wore less clothing during that time and was just radiating lust. It just seemed like everything was intensified to the max at a pool party. That meant that she was able to wear her bikini, show some skin and watch the other guys stare at her hungrily.
Well shit. If she went, she was going to have to go as Harley’s ‘girlfriend’ or ‘date’. Wait. Were they even seeing each other right now? Were they even dating? She wasn’t even sure. But she would either count this as another fling or friends with benefits, but friends with benefits didn’t go on dinner dates with each other, right? Oh. Mentally, this was starting to frustrate her even more as she thought about it, so she tucked it in the back of her mind, refusing to think about it. She didn’t even know what Harley thought about the relationship that was forming between them. She categorized as a fling but to him it may be so much more. She would get to get to meet his brother. Interesting. She wouldn’t mind meeting one of Harley’s brothers. She would have just guessed the hybrid liked her enough to want to introduce Aurelia to his family members or his guy friends. The female knew how important friends were to males. It was…what did people call it…bromance. Yeah. Or that one code guys followed ‘bros before hoes’. So she could have automatically assumed that Harley would want his brother approval or advice on this new girl, which was her. But –oh – god forbid. No. She crossed her fingers and hoped that she didn’t sleep with Harley’s brother cause that would be unfortunate. Because that meant that Harley would not be a happy camper if he found out the shifter was a slut, who slept with anything who was willing to have sex. But honestly, it wouldn’t be the first time she slept with someone in the same family. Talk about keeping it in the family, which she did.

when the devil wants to dance with you ,YOU BETTER SAY NEVER because a dance with the devil might last you forever - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
So that was a definitely forbidden topic. Her and her father. Good. He made a quick mental note to be sure never to ask her about her father and their relationship again unless she brought it up. Sounded like a fair deal, didn't it? He liked to think so. Harley wasn't going to push though, God only knew he hated when he was pushed too, the best part was always the same reaction he got when he told people that he wasn't a pure shifter, or warlock. He was a hybrid. Much like his brothers, but they all had had each other throughout their lives, so he figured that made it so much easier on all of them. Falling silent, it told her he wasn't going to even bother to push her about that. She would tell him if she wanted to, otherwise he wasn't going to say anything about her father-daughter relationship. One thing that he did want to know - but still wouldn't ask, was why? What had her father done? An immediate thought of abuse appeared in his mind and Harley's features darkened at that thought, and he knew if that was the truth, that man would have hell to pay - if he hadn't paid it with Aurelia already, even if he had, Harley would still make sure he paid. Dearly. Course the moment Aurelia agreed to go on a date with him, Harley could barely contain himself. An eager grin spread over his face like butter on toast and the hybrid replied, "Wonderful, when are you free? Perhaps Friday night?" he inquired, checking to see when would be good for her.
Course upon arriving at the party, the blonde duo had gotten what they had needed for the pool party, and he just ended up wearing his trunks like shorts, throwing on a t-shirt over himself then they had headed to his friend's party. Well, it was a friend whom Harley had met through Grayson. As they approached it, Harley looked to the beautiful blonde next to him and spoke, "You'll probably figure out who Grayson is, he looks a lot like me, only younger." Harley mused gently, a small smile forming along his lips as they approached the gate to the privacy fence and he rapped his knuckles on it. A moment later, a petite brunette answered, her big eyes looking at the pair, and she beamed towards the blonde male, "Harley! C'mon in you two!" She gestured, stepping aside for them to enter, Harley let Aurelia go in first as the brunette hugged Harley, only hitting at about hi chest, "Oh, 'arley, it's lovely to see you again. Who might this be?" She looked to the blonde who was connected to his hips, and he fell silent, a swift glance towards Aurelia, telling her that he was letting her introduce herself with what title she preferred.
Hesitating, Harley's attention snapped the moment he recognized an ex of his. Wonderful. She had been between Jolene and...the thing now between him and Aurelia, but still one nonetheless. Then, something else. Another man was approaching them, about two inches shorter than Harley, eyes locked on Aurelia. Harley scowled, and his hand fell down instinctively to the blonde's as the male approached her, a goofy grin on his face. "Aurelia?" What the hell was this? Harley frowned, his protective side flaring. Who the hell was this guy and what was he doing now? Who the hell was he to Aurelia? Or had been? Frowning, he shot a look towards Aurelia, as the male then noticed their hands, "It was nice to see you two." Harley growled softly, before looking to Aurelia, "What was what all about?" He shrugged gently, before then heading over to the side with Aurelia, and took off his shirt, then offered to take her stuff, "There's a stash back here for our stuff so it doesn't get wet and all that."

wolf in sheep's clothing
The moment the male suggested a date for their little get together. The female didn’t care what day it was. She was going to seize the opportunity either way. She was just excited that he actually decided to date for their little get together. Everything was slowly falling into place. “Friday is good.” The female declared, confirming the day of their little date. It would give her time. Several hours after, they got what they needed and Aurelia changed into more suitable clothing for a pool party. She wore her bikini under her top and her shorts, so she could easily strip into something else or into her bikini. And Harley had changed into some swimming trunks and all that jazz.
As they approached the gating, he soon informed her who Grayson was. Looked like him, but only younger. Suddenly, a very bouncy looking brunette appeared, greeting Harley and then gave him a hug. Her wide eyes soon flicked towards Aurelia and stared at her, asking who she was. The female had expected Harley to introduce her but no, he just glanced at her, allowing her to introduce herself to the female. “I’m Aurelia.” The blond said, smiling a sweet smile, introducing herself to the brunette who had opened the door. Pretty looking girl. Shorter than the both of them. Most likely she had a boyfriend. Friends with Harley. Didn’t look like the type to date someone like Harley. Looked like the type to but she was just assuming things now just by their appearances.
She glanced towards Harley, noticing that his eyes had landed at a particular girl across the room. It was a quick, fleeting glance but she had managed to catch it. The female shifter frowned the slightest bit, showing a bit is disgust or concern, maybe both or maybe something else. It was more like a dirty look. Why was Harley even looking at her? What was their connection? She felt the slightest bit of jealous – no. She smashed down that possibility. Aurelia Valesius did not get jealous. She wasn’t. If she wanted something another girl had, the bombshell would find a way to get it instead of moping over something she didn’t have. Right now...she was just...might I say, protective over Harley? Yes. That was more like it. She liked to keep things strictly hers. And he was officially her property. It was fit to say; do not touch.
Then as the blond duo walked past the crowd of people they passed by some guy who was starting to give her a funny look. That look the guy was giving her; why the hell was he looking at her in that way? He was giving her that look. Yeah. That look. That look where it said that he wanted to get her into bed with him once again. He wanted to sleep with her again. But this time, she wouldn’t be so willing. Or was it the look of recognition and hatred mixed together? Oh god. Running into two past flings in one day was not good! Plus, the fact that Harley was here with her too as she ran into her past hookups, it made her look like a pure slut, which she really was. But she didn’t want him to know that. As a matter of fact, she wanted to hide it from him. This was the second time though. And she wasn’t so sure if she could play it off as well as the first. The first time, she just slapped the tag of ‘boyfriend’ and ‘babe’ on to Harley. He didn’t mind it at all and let the situation roll off his shoulders. But the second time might now play off as well. It was only moments before questions would rise from him. The female shifter's eyes flicked towards the male, taking a good look at him and trying to match his face up with the men that she had slept with.
Oh lord...she immediately felt her heart drop when she finally realized who it was. She managed to match up his face with a name. His name started with an ‘E’. Evan...? Ethan...? No. Elliot! That was his name. Elliot with some unknown last name she forgot. He wasn’t a one night stand, but a fling instead. He was good enough to be a fling for her. For quite some time too. It was more like casual dating to her but to him it meant the real deal. Then the whole thing was broken off because Aurelia slept with his best guy friend, basically cheating on the poor guy. She had seriously broken his heart, but she didn’t really care. There was little remorse over what she had done. And now there was none, so she moved on to the next man to toy around it. Nonetheless, she still broke guys hearts so easily. Elliot believed that she was the ‘one’ and she thought of him as just another guy. Which might as well be the same scenario for Harley and her right now.
Aurelia glanced at the ‘date’ nervously when he turned to glance at her. Almost instinctively, when Harley clutched her hand in a firm grasp, the female squeezed his hand lightly but it was a way to ease herself. It wasn’t use to reassure him or even a sign that everything was fine. It was for herself. When Elliot left, her muscles relaxed the slighest bit, but it was still tensed ."Relax." She said charmingly and reassuringly to Harley. How hypocritical. She was telling him to relax, when though she was not going to do that same "Nothing." She stated, quickly. It almost sounded liek she snapped at him. Pft. Sure. It was nothing. That was a fling! Better yet, it was a fling with some guy whom she had broken his poor, fragile heart.
Her gray eyes watched Harley take off his shirt. Mentally, she savored the image but sure enough, she was going to get even more of that eye candy. She was going to see that many more times. Way more of it and she was going to make sure of that. At the same time, the female gripped the hem of her shirt and pulled it over her head. Then she wiggled out of her denim shorts, standing right there in front of him in only a bikini. The moment Harley said that there was a stash back there, a place for where their items wouldn’t get wet. Aurelia smirked. She didn’t really care about the part where their items didn’t get wet. The most part for cared about was the ‘back here’. Back here was usually a spot for where people hooked up. Think about it. The back of the club. Back of an alley. Back of the closet.
Abruptly, the female wrapped her arms around Harley, placing her hands carefully behind the back of his neck and pressed her body close with his. Quickly, she pressed her lips against his for a brief moment. Pulling away, the female had a devilish smirk on her angelic features. “What happened before with Elliot. I promise it was nothing” She said.

So that guy, whatever his name had been, obviously meant something to Aurelia. Or had meant something. And it was easy to see Aurelia had meant something to him. Harley could easily see it in the guy's eyes. The hybrid's eyes narrowed slightly towards the slightly smaller male, though he didn't say anything, and instead let Aurelia explain to him once the man left. He kept an eye out for Grayson though, his little brother look-alike, besides their eyes were different colors, otherwise they were easy to tell they were related. Harley's attention remained locked onto the beautiful blonde next to him as she then stripped down to her bikini, and he instantly felt a snake of jealousy sneak into him. Especially at any guy who dared to look at Aurelia longer than a brief glance. Hell no, he argued with himself. He didn't think about that, he wouldn't. If anyone dared to hit on her, he'd just make sure that they knew they were together. Back off, he thought to himself. Grabbing up her stuff with his, the blonde couple moved back around the shed to where they were stashing things in the backyard. Nothing. Sure. He partially believed her. Partially believed that she had nothing with that guy, Harley knew better. Training kicked in and he instantly wanted to ask the guy what the hell had happened. Bro to bro, so to speak. The card he pulled a lot, mainly to get another guy to talk to him about something he wanted to know more about.
The blonde set their things down and turned back to Aurelia as he soon found himself in her arms. Not that he minded, of course. In fact Harley would opt to stay right here with her in his arms for as long as humanly possible in all honesty. With the beautiful shapeshifter. Grinning into the small token of the kiss, Harley grinned as she pulled back, her hands around his neck, and his hands had fallen to land on her hips, holding her body even closer to his. If even possible. Hardly not one part wasn't within a few inches, if not touching of the other's body. Blue eyes locked onto her grayer ones as she then reassured him about that guy from before, only a name this time. Elliot. Harley felt jealousy snake through his system and his hands tightened slightly around Aurelia, drawing her even closer if at all possible to him. "You sure?" he asked gently, dipping his head, lips brushing along the blonde's neck gently for a few moments before raising his head, "I've seen guys look like that before..." he mused gently, then tilted his head, "I won't worry about it, let's just enjoy the party, yes?" he asked, wanting to be with Aurelia, though now there was something rooted in the back of his head. Something was off now. Two guys - in the same day had come up to Aurelia. Either that meant bad luck for her, or there was something else, and Harley wanted to know.
Hearing someone approach the shed, Harley sighed, pressing his lips eagerly to Aurelia's addictive ones once more as he then took her hand, gently leading her out of there, just so no one noticed and gawked. Plus he knew if his brother got wind of it, Grayson would never let him live it down. "Oh, Harley!" The blonde turned, his fingers entangled with Aurelia's as he noticed his younger brother approach them. Grinning eagerly, Harley greeted his brother with the usual one-armed hug, and Grayson grinned to the blonde, "I'm Grayson, and you might be?" He grinned, a smile Harley had heard looked like his. The slightly taller male commented, "Oh, Grayson, Aurelia. Aurelia, this is my brother, Grayson." Grayson grinned impishly, "I guess Jen let you guys in?" Harley paused, realizing that Grayson had gotten a new girlfriend in the past month, but hadn't met her yet. "The...short brunette?" Grayson shook his head at his brother and nodded, then commented to Aurelia, "I hope he isn't driving you mad. Now please, get yourselves something to drink! I have people to entertain. Nice to meet you Aurelia." Grayson vanished as soon as he had appeared, and Harley glanced to Aurelia, "Want anything to drink? I do know they also do pool games eventually too."

wolf in sheep's clothing
(Gahh. I've missed these two <33)
She prayed -- even thought she wasn't religious -- that Harley would live the previous situation alone. Just leave wahetver happened to Elliot alone. Mentally, she begged up whomever and whatever that he would just leave it alone and not make a big deal out of it. Why? Because she didn't want him to be digging around in her past, only to find out what a slut she was or how many men she had slept with. That was not what she wanted him to find out. She merely wanted to play the innocent role (although he already knew that she was a freak in bed) and wished that he would never find out about her true nature. Harley seemed like a guy who wanted something serious and maybe she was getting dragging int the whole thing too. Oh lord. Now she was simply starting to sound desperate and like one of those girls who thrived to have a fully functioning relationship with someone.
The moment she found herself in his arms, she felt his hand fall upon her waist and pull her close to his body, making sure that there was zero space between them. The moment she mentioned Elliot's name she knew that she had said something wrong,. She wasn't supposed to mention the name of her ex to her current...boyfriend? Wait. Were they even dating? Never mind that. Either way. She had a rule where she was not allowed to mention past hookups to current hookups. But here and now, she accidentally let it slip. She felt his grasp around her tighten a bit, showing that he was getting jealous or protective of her. "I'm sure." She concurred, trying to sound as reassuring as she could.
She felt her heart race when she felt his lips brush against her skin. She felt a shiver run down her spine. A good one of course. Did she ever tell him that she simply loved it when he did that? "It's nothing. I'm fine." Aurelia said softly.Soon the male suggested that they should enjoy the party. She felt as if a big weight was lifted off her shoulder. She didn't need to worry about that anymore now, did she? The shifter nodded. "Let's not worry about it, mkay?" She asked, brushing her fingertips against his jawline tenderly,
What was this? Did she truly have feelings for Harley or was he just another plaything for her? Her feelings were starting to confuse her right now, causing her stomach to twist and churn. She wasn't even sure what she was feeling anymore. It confused her and mentally nagged her. Tucking the feeling in the back of her mind, she decided that she shouldn't worry about little matters like that. Aurelia was soon to make sure that Harley didn't become too attached to her because she wanted something that was 'no strings attached'. Or even worse, she better watched herself from falling head over heels for him and allowing herself to become attached to someone like him.
Suddenly, her highly sensitive ears picked up the sound of one's footsteps approaching the duo quickly. Oh shoot. A small groan escaped her lips and her gray eyes flicked towards the direction of where the sound had came from. It was evident that Harley managed to pick of the sound too when he reacted with a sigh. Soon, the duos lips met for a split second before he let go of her, but still, their fingers intertwined. Patiently, she waited for the person to come into her view. Carefully, she watched Harley's brother approach the two of them. He looked kind of like Harley, but she could definitely see the resemblance between the two of them. It was obvious that the two of them were related.
She opened her mouth to reply to Grayson but before she was able to. the male had seemed to disappear, leaving the blond duo to be along once more. She didn't even allow herself to speak, but instead let Harley do all the talking (because he seemed like he knew what to do) The introduction with his brother was so brief and quick that it seemed as if it was nothing. Did this mean that she passed the 'brother acceptance' test for Harley? She knew she had to present herself well in order to get some kind of approval but here she got nothing, so she didn't know what to think or how to react.
She laughed playfully and glanced towards Harley when he had asked her a question. "I'll just have some water." Of course, that was not the usual drink she would have asked for. Usually it would be something with strong vodka mixed into it or just straight up tequila. She waggled her index finger in disapproval. Mainly parties only had a limited supply of water just because people chugged down the fresh water just to parch the throat of the intoxicated fools. Tonight, she didn't want anything with even the slightest bit of alcohol. A even one tiny bit "Cause alcohol and I do not mingle well." She stated. Big. Fat. Lie. Over the years, she had managed to develop quite the tolerance for alcohol, whereas now, it took more than just a couple of cups to make her even feel the buzz. Now, it took her several bottles to teeter against the borderline of tipsy and drunk. But tonight, she told herself that she would behave and not make a fool of herself in front of Harley. When she was drunk, she would be easily labeled the 'emotional drunk' because she was super open about her emotions and was moody. She would be spilling out her ever little emotion, her past and all the fun stuff. That was something she did not want.
