And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
“I think you’re perfect.” Owen said and blush covered Delilah’s face. Oh again with the blush! She never blushed! Second time in her whole life! This whole thing was so weird! Ugh. How did Owen do that to her? How did he know how to make her blush like she had never blushed before? It was crazy, bonkers, and insane! It frustrated her that she was so transparent. She didn’t want Owen to always know when she felt flustered, but then again it didn’t matter much anymore. He already knew that she loved him and they were happily dating so did it really matter? No, it didn’t, but still she wasn’t sure if she liked it yet. It was strange for her. Something she would definitely have to get used to. Blushing that is. She’d have to adjust to it. It was just so…foreign and weird and just….not nice for her. If she could she’d never blush again and be done with it, but no Owen just had to be the one person to ever make her blush. That boy. He really was different and special. Lucky boy. Lucky, lucky boy. No one could do stuff like that to Delilah. It was like her super power. That was pretty wicked. Clasping her cheeks she groaned, “Grr…Owen! Stop this cute, sweet thing! You’re making me blush. You are the first boy to ever make me blush. It’s weird. I’m not used to it.” Delilah said smiling weakly at him so he knew she wasn’t really mad at him.
“I would love some of those apples, I haven’t had any in awhile.” Owen said his smile stretching from one ear to the its pair. She smiled and ran a hand through his thick hair. God, she loved his hair. It was so fun to play with! She could do anything with it and he didn’t care. That was the best part that he didn’t care that she played with it relentlessly. Well how could she not play with it! It was so alluring and inviting. She just had to play with it! She couldn’t help herself! Was that really a sin? No, it wasn’t! As Delilah played with his hair a bit more she leaned in a kissed his ear. Then whispering lightly she whispered my lips tickling his ear, “I’ll get you all the apples you want, love. Just pay me back with kisses and love.” Pulling away from his ear she smiled and wrapped an arm around him giving him a gentle squeeze. She giggled and twirled in her chair throwing her arms in the air happily. “I love these chairs!” She exclaimed spinning around some more happily. She was so glad that they got spiny bar chairs around. They had had them in the last apartment, but they were stiffer. These were a lot of fun and spiny and wonderful. Delilah loved them!
“Wonderful, then any movie.” Owen said and she nodded vigorously. Any movie would do for Owen…well except chick flicks of course. Delilah couldn’t stand them. They were so annoying. She’d rather live one rather than see it in a movie theater for money. She wasn’t going to waste her hard earned money on that crap. They were all so cliché and just not pleasing. Whenever she watched them she wanted to rip her eyes out. It was almost painful to watch them. Five minutes into the movies she’d end up just focusing on her popcorn and eating it rather than the movie. Sometimes she watched the people in the movie theater instead. They were a lot more interesting. Delilah would look around and sometimes watch couples. They got boring quickly though. Sometimes she’d watch the friends and they were entertaining. The way they talked and giggled and acted was much more entertaining that watching the stupid chick flick. But by far the most entertaining one to watch had to be the ones that got all emotional and what not. It was actually quite funny. They would like freak out and cry and get so happy at the weirdest times. Delilah would always watch them instead of the movie. Yes, it was weird, but it was just something she did. “Any movie, wolfie. Well…except chick flicks of course because I hate them.” She said smiling. - - - - - - - - - - -
“I’m a goldfish type of person.” He said and she nodded in agreement. “I agree, wolfers. They’re pretty cool and they are tasty. The crackers that is.” She said giving him another nickname. Oh Delilah was the nickname queen! She was always giving Owen weird, new, and different nicknames. A few of them that were the most popular were wolfie, wolf, love, and Owey. Wolfie was definitely the most popular. She loved it. It was perfect. It was cute and very Owen. Also he was a wolf so what better to call him, but wolfie? Seemed perfect for him. Then Owen pointed to a goldfish and said, “That one, which ones do you like?” She smiled and approved at the fish he picked out. It was cute. Delilah opened she mouth to answer, but was cut off by Owen said, “Wait…no…no. They’re you fish, you get to pick all of them.” Delilah scrunched her nose up and then stuck her tongue out like a child. “ You’re no fun, wolfie.” She complained joking of course. “You get to pick Deli, they’re…a part of your house-warming gift.” Sighing jokingly she said, “ Fiiiiinnnneee” Smiling she found the fish that Owen had picked out and pointed to it. “That you and..” She said pointing to two others that seemed nice, “Those two too. They’re nice.” Delilah gestured over to an employee and requested for him to get the fish. Once the three were in their bags she smiled and thanked him. The couple walked to the cashier and paid for the fish and the food and the water that they’d need that employee had gotten them as well. Delilah even convinced Owen to get her some rocks and decorations for her fish. As the couple then drove home Delilah made sure not to drop her fish. Like a gentleman Owen carried in her stuff while she carried the fish in. She opened the door and the two set the aquarium up. Once it was all set up Delilah let the fish in and watched them swim around. Smiling she looked at him and said, “I came up with their names already.” Pointing to one she said, “That’s Owen 1.” Pointing to the next she said, “That’s Owen 2.” Then pointing to the last she said, “And that’s Owen 3” She giggled and wanted for his reaction.

A coy grin melted over his features when Delilah clasped her hands over her cheeks upon noticing a color tinting her cheeks. The boy grinned impishly almost and spoke, "Ooh...Deli..." he mused gently, then heard her explain and to knock it off. Chuckling softly, the male kissed her forehead gently, "But...it will be hard for me not to." he explained simply, giving her a shy grin. "I...like seeing it." Owen mused, the wolf giving her an innocent grin. It remained locked on his lips when she ran a hand through his hair. The only person besides himself he'd ever let touch his hair was her. He didn't care, plus he got to mess with her hair when-ever he wanted to as well. Owen was perfectly happy with Delilah, and he was personally glad that he would first off, never need to worry about hurting her. There would be no way he'd allow anyone to hurt her by any means, from emotionally to physically, he'd defend her till the last breath in his body left him. He'd be by her side forever, and he promised himself and her that. Blue eyes gleamed brightly as she spun. Adorable. Grinning lightly, Owen poked her side, the side where her scar wasn't, as if in an attempt to tickle her. "I'm glad you like them." he commented, before they had headed to get ready. Even if she hadn't like them, Owen would have taken Delilah to a store so that she could pick out ones she did like. Their old ones were awesome, but these even had a back to them, while their older ones just had a small back, these were a bit nicer than their old ones, plus they spun so much easier for the two of them rather than their old ones too.
- - - - - - - - - -
He wasn't sure about the goldfish at first, but Delilah wanted them and therefore he'd get them. Plus fish were easy to take care of, Apollo was too, but fish had to be easier, they didn't need to be brushed, and let out three times a day, they just needed to be fed twice a day or so, then their aquarium cleaned. Plus, he adored seeing the bright look on Delilah's face. It was adorable. Blue eyes shifted from the glass as Delilah spoke, then giving him another nickname. Owen laughed lightly, what was that, five? It had to be. "Some fish can swim backwards..." he muttered, his mind scrambling, as he shifted his gaze to a Betta tank, which had separators between about five fish in a single tank, "Bettas have to breathe air sometimes or they drown." he grinned lightly, his mind working as he then wrapped an arm around Delilah eagerly, not wanting to be too far from her if he could help it. He gave her a sheepish grin at her teasing, then she pointed to the fish he had pointed at, as well as two others in the same tank with it. Good, so at least he knew they would all get along. Wonderful. Blue eyes shifted as he gestured for an employee to come get out the fish for them. As they paid for them, Owen carried their supplies, letting Delilah carry the three fish in their bag together. Helping her set it up, Owen's eyes checked the little thermometer for the water temperature. Good to go.
Apollo padded over and looked up on the edge of the counter where the aquarium was, with the bubble machine softly starting up and making bubbles. Owen heard their names, and grinned lightly, before he inquired, "Will you be able to tell them apart?" he grinned lightly, then pointed, "Or maybe, Delilah, Owen and then Delilen." he mused, pointing to the biggest one for Delilen. The wolf then gave Delilah a light kiss before he then turned and patted Apollo who had brought up his bone to them, as if offering it to them to give him compliments on it. Owen then turned to Delilah and gave a coy grin. His plans were set in motion tonight, he just had to wait for Delilah to go to bed, as he would either need to get up before her, or go to bed after her. Tomorrow was her birthday, and he planned on making it one she wasn't about to forget.
- - - - - - -
Owen woke up before Delilah - thank goodness. He scrambled out of bed and into their apartment, quickly beginning to set things up. The male pulled out the balloons out of the closet he'd stashed in there yesterday when she'd been at DZX Records for awhile, he'd stayed home to "clean" when in reality he was getting everything ready. He set up the balloons in front of her bedroom room, only three, then the few others out in the living room. He then set down the card on her bedside table, knowing she usually looked at her clock first thing in the morning. Inside the card was a little "coupon" he'd written, which was good for a night out for them to do whatever she wanted on that night out, and he would pay for it. Patting Apollo, he then quickly grabbed a shower and got ready before he then set out her favorite waffles, and then lounged on the couch while he waited for her to get up, the few other presents he'd gotten her sitting, one was on the counter with her breakfast, the other - next to him on the couch. The one he wanted to give her the most right next to him. Eagerly grinning like a school boy, Owen stood up as Delilah exited the hallway, approaching her, he gave her a happy hug and kiss, and mused, "Happy birthday, darlin'." he grinned lightly, eyes falling from her to Apollo who was eagerly following them around, obviously knowing something was up. He gestured for her to sit down and he then offered her up the waffles and her syrup, before gesturing to the flowers that were set up in a vase for her already with her breakfast, and then a pair of stuffed wolves. Sure, they were stuffed, but it wasn't like they were huge, plus he'd managed to find a black one and a dark brown one, like she was, and his coat was too. Giving her a sheepish grin from across the bar, Owen smiled, "There's something else too..but wait till after breakfast for that."

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
“Some fish can swim backwards…” Owen muttered loud enough for Delilah’s ear to pick up, but then again she did have better hearing than most regular humans so it wasn’t hard to hear Owen. That’s why she loved being a wolf. She had better smell, sight, and hearing than humans. It was awesome. But at the moment she wasn’t happy about her senses and how they were enhanced, but that a fish could swim backwards. That was…awesome! I mean Delilah had never heard of something quite like that. Wow. A fish that could swim backwards? What a talented fish! I mean she couldn’t even swim backwards even though she was a human. Smart fishie. Maybe they could get awesome fish like that! Probably not because they wanted to get goldfish and she doubted that goldfish could swim backwards. Sadly they wouldn’t be getting any fancy backward swimming gold fish today. What a bummer, but it was okay because at least she was getting her fish and she got to be with the man that she loved more than anything in the world. That was better than any fancy backwards swimming fish! “That’s so cool! Those fishie mommas must be proud of those fancy backward swimming fish.” She said smiling big. She giggled and let him wrap an arm around her gathering her in. Snaking her arms around his neck gave him a light kiss on his supple, pink lips.
“Bettas have to breathe air something or they drown.” He said and she smiled. Poor air breathing fish. I mean what kind of fish was that? Weren’t fish supposed to like not breathe air or they’d die? What a weird fish! She definitely didn’t want that weirdo fish. I mean what was she supposed to do every day? Take it for a walk in the nice fresh air? That was what confused the wolf. Would she have to make sure it got air? And how in the world did a fish drown! She didn’t know that was possible. It was a fish for crying out loud! It was just so weird… and Delilah didn’t like these weird air breathing fish. They confused her too much so they would not be getting these strange fish. “Owen….how can a fish drown? It’s a fish!” Delilah asked completely confused by this strange Beta fish.
Once they got home and everything was set up completely. Delilah watched the little fishies swimming around happily in their fresh, clean water. “They’re so cute, Owen! Thank you so much!”She said almost completely tackling him she was so happily, but she only hugged him happily. “Will you be able to tell them apart?” Owen asked and she nodded. “ If I can tell you and Dylan apart I can tell my fish apart.” She said. Oh meeting Dylan was an interesting experience. Delilah had thought he was Owen and tackled him to the ground. Dylan was surprised to say the least. It was quite awkward after that, but it was all alright after that. Delilah was even kind of friends with Dylan. He was cool, but no Owen. Delilah would always love Owen more than anyone even his twin brother. “Or maybe, Delilah, Owen, and then Delilen.” Owen said pointing at her goldfish. She puffed out her cheeks and scrunched her nose. Deflating her puffed out cheeks she said, “Fine. We can compromise.” She said smiling. So now she had her fish and everything was perfect. - - - - - - - - - - -
As Delilah woke up she saw balloons in her room and she smiled. Today was her birthday. She was now twenty-two, the same age as Owen. Sitting up she stretched out her arms and yawned. Walking out into the hallway she was greeted by Owen with him saying, “Happy birthday, darlin’.” She smiled at he embraced her and gave her a kiss. Returning it happily she walked to the kitchen where there were more balloons and presents. Smiling at him she skipped to the bar seat that she always sat at. Spinning around once she threw her arms in the air and yelled, “Happy birthday to me!” When she was finally settled in her seat she noticed the beautiful flowers and two stuffed wolves. Her eyes widened happily and she hugged them up tightly. One of a dark brown like her and a black one like him. “ It’s perfect, Owen!” She exclaimed happily. Waffles were set in front of her with syrup and she said, “Thank you.” Then Owen said, “There’s something else too…but wait till after breakfast for that.” Delilah’s mouth open and her face basically said, ‘Come on!’ Putting on pouty lips and she crossed her arms and pouted. “Come onnnn!!!!” She complained. She wanted to know her last present now! Coming up with an idea she just decided that she had to eat her breakfast really fast she was did just that. She wolfed down her waffles and she slapped the table and said, “ DONE! ” Smiling at him she waited for her present.

The wolf sighed happily when Delilah seemed to like the flowers and wolves. He pushed the flowers aside to make more room as he munched on an apple he'd gotten out of the fridge, watching Delilah curiously before she pulled that pouty look. Damn her. Scowling in her direction, Owen pulled his own pouting look, "Deli! Don't do that!" he scolded playfully, a smile melting along his lips after he said that. He hated that look, it would make him melt and give in every time she did it. "You are welcome." he smiled softly, leaning on his elbows on the counter across from Delilah quietly, blue eyes watching her carefully, as if seeing her for the first time. "Did you check inside the card?" he grinned sheepishly, though she may not have seen that, he wasn't too worried if she had or not. It was something he had even put an expiration date on, mainly because he could, and she had a week to use it. Especially also in a week, Owen's internship really got started and he was worried he might miss out on something, though he certainly knew he wasn't going to miss her recording her song. He definitely wanted to be there for that, to support her and to get the chance to be able to see that? Oh he wouldn't miss it for anything. The wolf then tilted his head gently towards her as she then quickly finished off her waffles. Oh ha, ha....he thought quietly to himself, fiddling with the longer box in his hands, beneath Delilah's vision, beneath the bar. He arched an eyebrow, pulling an innocent look, "Other gift?"
Owen grinned innocently, before he then held up the black box and set it down for her, letting her open it. His fingers were twitching nervously as he waited for her reaction. Inside of the smaller locket though, was what he also had managed to put in there - with time. He chuckled softly, nervously and his fingers drummed quietly on the bar, waiting for her to digest. Owen then pointed to the part where she could open the locket, "Inside too." Inside was a picture of him and her, one of their first pictures together he had discovered, had it shrunk and printed it out. He liked the picture, around that time too he had realized also how much he had liked Delilah, as more than a roomie and a friend. "It's not silver, obviously. The chain is titanium, so it won't rust as much...and the heart part is diamonds and gold with a spray to make it silver." he grinned shyly. That had been fun to explain to the girl he had been having show him things. He said no silver, and one time she'd accidentally pulled out something silver, causing Owen to draw back and receive a weird look from him. Then he just explained both he and his girlfriend had a horrible allergy to sterling silver. Technically it was true, in a human's point of view anyway. "Do you like it?" he inquired worriedly.
Though why wouldn't she? He had shown his mother before and she had cooed, saying Delilah should love it, especially the little photo inside of it. Owen grinned weakly, having come over and sat down next to Delilah so he could help her try it on if she wanted. The necklace chain was "mildly" long as the girl at the store had described it, so it hit just right where it wasn't a choker and wasn't super long either. Owen tilted his head slightly towards Delilah, and added, petting Apollo as he walked by, "Today, Deli, we do what you like. Anything, nothing or everything." he mused gently, offering the day up for her to do as she pleased. Apollo had been fed and let out, so he was good for awhile, now it was up to them, and what she wanted to do. "I mean...whatever." he repeated, eyes locking onto hers to make sure she knew he meant he didn't care what they did. It was her birthday, their day together, and he was perfectly fine with what-ever she'd like to do. "Oh, but...we need to keep 8 o'clock free." he grinned shyly, "And no, I won't tell you, even with a pouty face." He'd try, but he figured he'd succeed, he didn't want to ruin her final surprise just yet.

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
“Deli! Don’t do that!” Owen said with his a scowl on his beautiful face. Even with that scowl on his face he was still attractive as ever. Just for him she wiped the pouty outfit off her face so he’d be happy. She’d do anything to her true love, Owen. He was her forever and always. Her soul mate. Her other half. The milk to her Oreo. The banana to her split. The sprinkles to her ice cream. Well you get the point so I won’t go on. The point was the Delilah loved Owen with all her heart. She couldn’t even describe it. There weren’t words for love like this. It was nothing like those stupid movie loves like ‘The Last Song’ or ‘Dear John’. No. This was going to last longer than any of them because this was real. Not fake. No not at all. How could it be fake? They were soul mates after all so it had to be real right? Delilah didn’t want to boast, but they were a pretty awesome couple. They were best friends and lovers. That rocked. I mean it trumped many other relationships that just wouldn’t work out in a couple years, but they didn’t matter. Delilah and Owen’s relationship mattered. It was the most important thing to her. She didn’t want to screw it up. She had a tendency of screwing things up in relationship. She always made mistakes and she didn’t want to lose Owen because of one of her stupid mess ups. “Okay, I’ll stop. I want you happy.” Delilah said smiling. “You are welcome.” He said leaning into her and she kissed his lips lightly. “Just wanted another birthday kiss.” She explained smiling lightly. Was it too much to ask? To kiss him one more time? It was her birthday so she knew he wouldn’t mind. She guessed he liked to kiss her too. Well she hoped.
“Did you check inside the card?” he asked and she raised her brows in interest. She shook her head ‘no’ and said, “ No, I haven’t. I must check that now.” Smiling she lightly grasped her card and looked at the front. It was cute, like him. Opening it she found what looked like a coupon. She delicately picked it up and examined it. It looked so real. He had done a good job on it. Delilah almost laughed when she saw the little expiration date. She smiled up at him and saw that it was for a night out with him and he’d pay. Awesome. She could really use that in a week. She’d probably have the two go out for dinner somewhere. They hadn’t done that in awhile. A romantic night out would be just perfect. Yes, that was what they’d do. “This is awesome, Owen. I can’t believe you made this, it’s so cool.” she complimented smiling happily at him. “Hey, wolfie. Can we go on a romantic dinner out maybe?” She requested smiling ear to ear. She couldn’t have smiled bigger even if she had wanted to. She was so happy! So far this had been the best birthday ever! She was with the man she loved and in a place that she called home. What could make it better? Well…cake, but cake made everything better. Thinking of cake made her wonder if Owen had made her one. That’d pretty much rock! Especially if it was red velvet because red velvet was the bomb. Yes, the bomb! It was an old phrase, but she was always saying weird things like that. It was just how Delilah rolled. Being Delilah-ish and weird and strange. She wouldn’t be Delilah without her weirdness. She’d be a boring, not fun or cool Delilah which is icky. Thank God, she wasn’t that Delilah.
“Other gift?” Owen said with that fake innocent look. She narrowed her warm brown eyes at him playfully and pointed a finger at Owen threatening. She wanted her gift! She wolfed down her waffles so she could get it early so she didn’t want to wait any longer. “ Give me my present, butt much, or I’ll eat your face off.” She threatened playfully. She would never literally eat his face off because well she didn’t want him to die and she wasn’t a cannibal. Well she might do it I the sexual way, but not literally. Then Owen gave her a long black box and she looked at it curiously. Grabbing it gently, she opened it and her eyes widened at the sight of the necklace in the box. It was beautiful. It looked like silver, but she knew it wasn’t because when she touched it, it didn’t hurt. It was in the shape of a heart and just so beautiful. “Inside too.” Owen said and she instinctively opened the necklace to learn it was a locket. Inside of the locket was a picture of them. It was the first picture they had taken together. She smiled more and bit her lip. It was…perfect. “It’s not silver obviously. The chain is titanium, so it won’t rust as much…and the heart part is diamonds and gold with a spray to make it silver.” Owen explained and she smiled. She appreciated that he took the time to do all that for her. Running her fingers over the beautiful gift she smiled even more if it was even possible. “Do you like it?” he asked and she looked at him crazily. How could she not like it? “Uh hell yeah! It’s gorgeous. I’ll never take it off.” she promised.
Delilah watched him walk around her and she asked, “Will you put it on for me?” Pushing her hair out of the way she waited for him to put it on for her. Once it was on her she smiled and said, “Thank you.” Jumping off her seat she walked over to him. Wrapping her arms around his tall frame. “Today, Deli, we do what you like. Anything, nothing or everything.” He said. She smiled and nuzzled her head into his hard chest. Inhaling deeply she let his intoxicating scent. Biting her bottom lip she looked up at him. “ Sounds great. I’ll do anything really.” She said. “I mean…whatever.” He said and she nodded that she understood. Honestly they could do anything. It could be anything from making pancakes to playing video games. Anything would be fun with him around. “Oh, but…we need to keep 8 o’clock free. And no I wouldn’t tell you, even with a poutface.” He said and she instantly put on the pouty face. When it didn’t work she got an idea. In a low, sexy, whisper she asked, “Even if I do this?” She leaned into and kissed him softly then passionately and then rougher. Pulling away she smirked and in the same voice she asked, “Or this?” She kissed his collarbone and then went down to his neck and then pulled away once again. Fiddling with his shirt she smiled and asked, “Going to tell me or will I have to keep going?” Yes, she was seducing me to get an answer. That was the only way to get Owen to tell you things and she was good at it.

Owen still could hardly believe his luck sometimes, especially with Delilah. She was just too precious, adorable and wonderful to let go. He never wanted to lose her to anything or anyone. Even time if he could help it. Blue eyes shifted gently as he then heard her explain she had only wanted another birthday kiss. Giving her a gentle look, Owen planted another passion-infused kiss on her wonderful lips and answered, "You can kiss me any time." He reassured her. Honestly, he didn't care at all when she kissed him, as long as obviously, she didn't like...jump in the shower with him. Not that there was anything there she hadn't seen, but nonetheless, within reason he figured. Though it was Delilah, who knew when she would demand a kiss. Grinning coyly, Owen then watched her with nervous eyes as she then opened the card. He hoped she liked it. Usually he wasn't so nervous when it came to people opening gifts he'd gotten for them, but Deli was different. She was so special to him, and now he understood how Aidan and Melosa, and his parents felt towards each other. This strong, wonderful connection. Sure, he might have claimed he had had it with Lacy before she moved away, but that was definitely nothing compared to what he and Deli had. It was magic. It was wonderful. Then she opened it, and a grin plastered itself onto her face, his own matching hers. She liked it! Eagerly grinning like a school boy with a crush, Owen nodded to her question. "Of course we can, I already have open reservations, so we can go tonight with our 8 o'clock time." he grinned impishly, dangling in front of Delilah, mainly because he could.
A mock look of horror fell on his features and he spoke, looking defeated, "You'd...eat my face?" Owen grinned impishly, allowing Delilah to open it. He wasn't too worried, well he was, but not as worried as he had been with everything else. He was reassured by his mom and Melosa that she would like it. He hoped so. The wolf grinned proudly as she said she liked it and wouldn't take it off. Letting her gather her hair, he then set the necklace up, and clasped it neatly around her neck. Brushing her hair gently once she had let it fall back around her shoulders, Owen's hand flitted gently along her neck softly, like a butterfly, "It looks beautiful on you, Deli." he commented, quite happy she liked it most of all. As she wrapped her arms around him, his arms immediately mimicked what hers had done, before he looked down to the beautiful brunette in his arms, and he shook his head at her, "No...you pick beautiful." he reaffirmed, giving her a gentle squeeze, before resting his cheek on the top of her head, enjoying the moment, probably a bit more than he should, but he didn't care. Delilah was here, she was in his arms. He was content.
Owen remained stoic when she pulled the pout face. No, he told himself. He had promised himself he would keep it a secret from Delilah no matter what she pulled on him. Or whatever she dared to do. The male tensed the moment she then suddenly kissed him - with a lot more force and passion than he had anticipated. She pulled away, leaving him hanging, and mildly stunned, giving her a look telling her he knew he was up to something. Oh, so she wanted to know what they were going to do? Never! He promised himself! "Never..." he half-heartedly argued the moment her lips found him once more. Damn her and those intoxicating lips of hers. The wolf gave her a look that told her, "no way" as she fiddled with his shirt, threatening to keep going. His teeth clenched and Owen internally struggled. Don't tell her, he smacked himself. It had to be a surprise! Damn her and that look, her love, the passion he felt for her. Idiot, he scolded himself, as he then shoved that aside, quickly pressing Delilah to the wall in their hall way, being careful not to hurt her, his body pinning hers to the wall. Blue eyes locked onto hers as his hands clutched hers, pinning them up above her head too. "Deli..." he whispered softly, lips flowing along her neck for a brief moment. He lifted his head, giving her a keen look, as if seeing her for the first time, and an impish grin fell on his lips, "Why?" he inquired, his voice huskier than before, before his lips eagerly captured hers. He wasn't too worried if they didn't get out of the apartment till later, it was Delilah's birthday, and he was perfectly fine and up for anything she wanted.

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
“Of course we can, I already have open reservation, so we can go tonight with our 8 o’clock time.” Owen said and she narrowed her eyes playfully once again at him. That butt munch. Teasing her that he knew what they were doing tonight at eight and she didn’t. Such a butt munch! It made her mad. Not like really made where she’d like be mean to him, but more like annoyance that he knew something that she didn’t. Delilah was a very curious person and if she wanted to know something then she would do almost anything to find out what it is. She was a determined little thing that knew what she wanted. Such a stubborn girl too. Always stuck on things that she should just let go, but letting something like that go was torture to her. It was like having someone touch her with silver. It hurt and bothered and irritated her. Well maybe silver wasn’t the best example because the feel of silver…painful. It burned and stung and caused her pain. It was a shame too because Delilah loved the look of silver and how it looked on her. A little narcisstic, but it was true. It did look good on her though. It took quite a bit of getting used it when she was first changed and she had to always remember to never touch it in a store or something. Thankfully she had Owen to remind her and to help her out when she forgot. Sometimes he’d even cover for her when she reacted to the pain by saying that she was scratched or something like that. It was awesome having a werewolf lover because he got all her quirks and things about being a werewolf. Delilah couldn’t count how many times one of her boyfriends or friends with benefits would buy her jewelry and get her something silver. Then Delilah would freak out and they had no idea what was wrong. Delilah would have to explain everything and sometimes they just didn’t understand. It was quite annoying to Delilah. I mean she was very get a faerie something with iron or like get a vampire a wooden stake. I mean wasn’t it just common courtesy to not get a werewolf silver. Geez…people these days.
“You are such a butt munch, Owen. Sometimes, boy, sometimes.” She said faking irritation as she shook her head disapproving him. This boy was going to drive her crazy with his secrecy. Darn the boy! One day she’d have a secret and he’d want to know it! Then she wouldn’t tell him and let him go crazy trying to figure out what the secret was. Oh that would be the day! She would show him! He’d get a taste of his own secret medicine that boy. That boy won’t know what hit him! Delilah couldn’t wait for that day. It would be a good day. “You’d….eat my face?” He said fake horror painting his face and she giggled. Nodding up and down she smiled and tried to look threatening, but failed miserably. “Yeah! Yeah I would butt munch because you’re a little secret keeper.” She said laughing a bit. She could never eat his face off though. She loved him too much and liked his face too much. He had a nice face. It was pretty nice and kissable. It was soft too. Very fun to touch as well. She couldn’t eat a face like that. It was too precious and attractive and hot to eat. Then again she didn’t really want to eat it because she wasn’t one to eat human flesh. That was gross and well just something she didn’t want to do. She wasn’t a cannibal! That was gross. She couldn’t believe that some people did that. It just made her want to throw up. Was human flesh even good? Actually she didn’t want to know and she never wanted to know. Definitely not her thing.
“It looks beautiful on you, Deli.” He said caressing her neck with his finger tips. Her eyes fluttered close and she breathed in deeply enjoying his touch on her neck. Even that simple touch sent tingle down her spine and made her melt under his touch. Exhaling and his finger with drawled smiled at him and wrapped her slender arms around his tall, boy frame. “How do you do that?” She asked knowing that he’d probably ask what she meant by that or something similar to that. She was talking about how his touch made her melt though. She wondered if he even knew. Probably not, but if he did he didn’t act like he had any idea of the power he had over her. Maybe that was good though because she didn’t want him to think he could completely control her, but hey it was Owen. A nice, sweet guy that she loved. He wouldn’t do that. She knew he wouldn’t. He was so kind and good and innocent. It was refreshing. People like that was a dying breed. “No…you pick beautiful.” He said giving her smaller girl frame a gentle squeeze. She smiled and nuzzled her head into him. “I just want to be near you.” She whispered her eyes fluttering close in happiness.
As Delilah tempted and enticed him to tell his secret with her body and supple lips she heard him say, “Never…” So he’d need more convincing. Fine. She could do this all day. It was fun for both of them. “You’ll crumple. They always do.” She whispering in a slow, sensual voice into his lips. Putting his hands on her hips she kissed his lips and slowly went down his chin and then to his neck. Running her hands through his hair to not amuse her this time, but to please him she kissed his collar bone. It was only a matter of time until he melted and told her. She was going to find out. Then out of know where Owen shoved her against the wall with force she had never seen from him. He pinned her to the wall with his body. It didn’t hurt; rather, it was pretty hot. Delilah breathed heavily as she looked at him almost not believing that this was Owen doing this. Why hadn’t he ever done this before? It was fricking sexy. Owen then pinned her hand above her head and she tried to catch her breath. As Owen whispered, “Deli…” he led his lips over her neck. Delilah had to bite her lip to not let out any noises from him doing so. This was definitely turning out to be the best birthday ever. “Why?” he asked his voice husky and sexy as ever. She swallowed and looked at him with a slight smirk present on her lips. Before she could answer his question he caught her lips in a passionate and rough kiss full on her mouth. She leaned into him as much as she could with her hands pinned, but she didn’t want Owen to let them go. The whole situation was incredibly sexy and she liked it. Hooking one of her legs with his she rubbed it lightly. Still kissing him she asked her voice slightly muffled by their lips, “Why what, love” When saying “love” her voice was sexier and huskier. Delilah kissed him again waiting for him to do something. She wanted him to continue what she was doing because well it was hot.

Owen was good at keeping secrets. He always had been. He'd always been good with hearing things he probably shouldn't have heard, and things that people trusted him with. It was one of his talents, to get something and stash it in the back of his mind. It was easy, much like science, math and physics to him. The werewolf's mind though, had now narrowed in on two things right now, Delilah, and keeping the secret from her. She'd probably get it though. He knew she would get what she wanted in the end. Damn her and her seduction. Those addictive kisses, those look she gave him, any look really, always made his blood boil with passion. He grinned lightly into a kiss at her inquiry about how he did that. Did what? The wolf paused gently, keeping the space nonexistent between the two of them at this moment in time. Then, he heard her claim, he'd "crumple" like they always did. Oh no. If he was going to crumple, he'd give her one hell of a fight. He didn't want to go down, he wouldn't go down. Not to Delilah, even if she did continue, he'd fight till the words slipped out of his mouth like butter. Owen grinned coyly into a kiss before he inquired, "Really? You're that confident?" he teased. Owen paused when she then responded to him, the word love slipping into a different tone, as well as that innocent look on her face. Wrinkling his nose, as if knowing he was wanting to get her to a point where he'd have an advantage, Owen responded, his lips lingering on Delilah's neck before, "Why must do you that?" he repeated the question she'd asked him. Was she aware of the power she had over him? She must be, she was encouraging this. That girl. Those gorgeous eyes, her lips, everything about Delilah told him to stay with her, be with her, and never let her go.
The only way Owen would ever let go of Delilah was through the hands of time, and even then, he'd make sure he'd still be able to be with her beyond after the last breath left his body. Having pinned Delilah between his body and the wall, Owen suddenly pulled back, almost teasing her, his back hitting the wall on the other side, and he spoke, shaking his head, "You'll never get me to talk..." he spoke, catching his breath. He knew though, if Delilah came at him one more time, he'd most likely snap. He was already too far to care though, Owen paused there for a brief moment, as if attempting to rebuild his wall, so to speak around the secret he wanted to keep hidden from Delilah. Straightening his frame, Owen shook his head, as if to clear his head, and gave Delilah a deliberate look, "Forget it..." he spoke, his voice soft, as he then crossed the hall in one step, his body and his hands finding Delilah once more. Their lips met and the same feeling that he got every time they kissed returned with a smash. It was absolutely wonderful. Personally he never wanted to be too far from Delilah, never, ever. If she had to go on tour, good, he'd have Aidan and Melosa take their fish and Apollo for the time they were gone, it would all work out. That way, Owen was right there with Delilah.
His fingers coiled around Delilah's wrists once more, pinning her hands to the wall by her side, as if to hold her hostage, to hold her there in case Owen might need to regather himself to hide the secret from her. He whispered, pausing from the passion-sealed kiss, "You'll never know..." he grinned a bright, impish grin, daring Delilah to try and make him spill it. Owen's lips molded to Delilah's once more, before then, he soon found he had wrapped an arm around Delilah, leading her to the first bedroom, which this time happened to be his. Landing on top of her with a light chuckle, Owen paused, hovering over her coyly, "What if..." he acted as if in deep thought, blue eyes locked onto her darker ones, "If I promised you I wouldn't tell you the secret? Then!" he emphasized, grinning deviously, "I certainly wouldn't tell you, it'd be a promise to you." Owen grinned gently, lips lingering on Delilah's neck and collarbone for longer than necessary, he wasn't too worried about leaving this room. His lips then caught hers once more, as if to delay her answer, though in reality, he just couldn't get enough of kissing the beautiful, and perfect Delilah.

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
“Really? You’re that confident?” He teased and she ran a hand through his hair smiling seductively at him with a mischievous look in her creamy chocolate eyes. Brushing her lips against his she whispered in a questioning manner, “Is there a reason I should be insecure? Is there something wrong with me?” Yes, she just did that to him. She put him in a position where if he answered wrong he was forever screwed. ‘He better answer right.’ She thought pulling away from his addictive lips to let him kiss her neck again, which she found that she loved a lot. It felt so damn good and sent tingles all throughout her body. It made her want to melt and just give herself up to him. To just let him to whatever he wanted with her and she’d do anything. Then again one look at her with those icy blue eyes of his caused her to have something similar to that, but when his lips touched her neck it was different. It was…electricity. It was one of her biggest weaknesses. Good for Owen. He had found her weakness that would make her putty in his hands to play with and mold how he pleased. Very few guys had ever figured this out about her and if they had they might have lasted longer and she might have not have broken up with them. No, she wasn’t one of those girls that dumped guys if they sucked at making love or something. Sometimes she’d break up with people if they couldn’t make her feel passion or a connection between the two. Delilah liked to feel like her boyfriend and she had a connection and that they had something special. Delilah and Owen definitely had that with each other. Every time they were together it was like love was just radiating throughout the air and it came from the couple. Delilah loved it! It was so special and lovely. Then again everything with Owen was like that. “Why must you do that?” He asked and she smirked. Whispering into his ear in her sexy, husky voice, “Because I love to see you squirm and I love how you fight back.” Pulling away she winked at him and smirked. She had him right where she wanted him.
Suddenly Owen pulled away from her and she took deep breathes looking at him. Why the hell had he done that? She was having fun. Oh. He was teasing her! Well she could play that game too. Oh she could really play that game. She was great at this game! Hell, she made this game! Smirking at him she listened as he said, “You’ll never get me to talk…” Oh really? He sounded pretty sure. Oh then he definitely didn’t know that Delilah was as stubborn as a mule. She was going to find out. Oh she was going to find out even if it killed her. Well not literally, but you got the jist. Biting her lip she played with her shirt to tempt him even more because it showed glimpses of her supple, soft, porcelain skin. If she knew Owen right that if he saw a little bit, he’d probably want the rest. After a few moments she stopped playing with her shirt and waggled her fingers as if telling him to come over. “Come and play, Owen. I don’t bite…much.” She enticed batting her dark lashes at him. “Forget it…” he said and came back to her. Their lips molded together into pure passion. Once again he pinned her hands, which was just as hot as the last time. Returning the passion that he gave her. God, it felt good to kiss him with those gorgeous lips of his. She loved him. She knew it. No, doubt in her mind.
“You’ll never know…” He said pulling away from their kiss. It wasn’t soon before their lips found each other. They were like the opposite ends of magnets; they always connected when close enough. Soon her wrists were free and she snaked her arms around his neck brining them closer. When Delilah felt Owen moving her toward his bedroom she almost ran toward it. Right now all she wanted was Owen, Owen, and Owen. When they were finally in his bedroom she fell unto her back on his soft covers of his bed. Pulling away from her, he said, “What if…if I promised you I wouldn’t tell you the secret? Then! I certainly wouldn’t tell you, it’d be a promise to you.” Rubbing his cheek affectionately she said, “How about this? You promise me nothing, I drop trying to figure this out and you just make this the best birthday I’ve ever had.” Then he did just that.
- - - - - - - - - - -
Laying on his bed the covers covering their exposed bodies she laid with her head on his chest with their arms around each other. Catching her breathe she looked up at him and smiled. This definitely was the best birthday she had ever had and it was all because of her love, Owen. Moving black, thick hair from his eyes she whispered, “ Best. Birthday. Ever.” Giggling she rubbed his arms affectionately. This moment was perfect just so fricking perfect. She was with the man she loved and it was her birthday and it had been amazing. After what seemed like forever Owen spoke to her saying that she had to get ready and to wear something nice. Nodding she grabbed her over sized shirt that she had been wearing and didn’t bother to get her other clothes because they were hidden somewhere in his room. She’d find them one day.
Walking into the living room after curling her hair in the bathroom and putting on a light amount of makeup. She had also brushed her teeth. Delilah was also dressed now in a purple and black dress that showed off her legs that were covered with the coolest tights in history. Instead of wearing heels though she wore black high tops because she didn’t feel like wearing heels. Heels hurt her. Of course Delilah wore the necklace Owen had given her with matching “silver” bangles. Of course they were fake because that would have been deadly. Over all Delilah liked her outfit and she just wanted to know where they were going. I mean Delilah had even sped up getting ready so she could go. “Hey Owen, I’m ready.” She said smiling big.

That trap. Delilah was setting him up for one with her words. Careful, Owen, he told himself. Like he had to worry about it. He thought the highest of Delilah, and nothing could change what he thought about her, probably not even herself really. He grinned into a kiss and then shook his head, "Course not. You're the definition of perfection." There you go. The wolf's lips lingered over her lips a moment longer than necessary and her neck, before his ear suddenly caught the sound of her potentially lethal voice in his ear. The lethal sound that would make him hers, and she knew it too. It sent bright, powerful shivers down his spine, pleasant ones of course, and Owen's body closed the space between them, if there happened to be any space. He didn't care, it was Delilah. The moment she landed on her his bed, him on top of her, Owen at that point, was far gone. He'd play, he'd play all right. He'd show her, he told himself. Though their kisses were put on pause when she spoke, saying about giving up the fight. A toothy grin plastered itself on his features before he then nodded, in silent agreement, "I like the sound of that." he mused, his hand finding her hip and lips molding to hers eagerly. Course he'd make this the best birthday, he'd make the rest of her birthdays better than the last if he could. He always wanted to be there for Delilah, to hold her, to run his hands lazily through his hair, for their teasing points at each other. The thought of not being able to wake up near her everyday pained him. No way, he'd always be by her side, if she went out tour, hell - he'd go with her. He didn't care, he just knew he loved Delilah. He should have realized that earlier, but better late than never he always thought. Owen's lips molded perfectly to Delilah's, no time to worry about that. The only thing he wanted, the only one he wanted now was Delilah.
- - - - - - - - - -
Breathing calmly, once he'd caught his breath, the wolf looked down to see the beautiful brunette's head on his chest, and a hand lazily running through her soft, brilliant locks of rich, brown hair. Hearing her comment, he gave a toothy grin, "I'm thrilled to hear that." Owen then allowed time to drift past them, as if it had forgotten about them. Apollo was content, he'd been let out before Owen and Delilah had arrived to his bedroom, and he wasn't too worried about anyone or anything else besides Delilah. Mentioning to her about the plans...he'd almost slipped up and mentioned dinner, Owen grinned as he grabbed a quick shower and fixed his hair, as when Delilah's hand had gone through it, his too-obedient hair stuck up in all directions where her hand had touched. Quickly grabbing his tux - oh yes, the only tux he would probably ever wear, for this, since he could, and then possibly his wedding, well, him getting married to someone Delilah. Stumbling over his own feet at that thought, they were so young, he thought....but they were soul-mates. It was that easy. Plus, life was short, even if werewolves tended to live a bit longer than average humans.
Messing with his tux, mainly because he could, he heard Delilah call, and he grinned. Heading out to her, Owen grinned sheepishly, "You're gorgeous, Deli." he gave her an eager kiss, and patted Apollo on his head softly, "We'll be back later, boy." Owen's hand soon found Deli's as they headed to a lovely, "higher" end restaurant on the ocean, with a gorgeous view. "Normally, I'm good with anywhere to eat, but...they have the best....food here." he spoke quickly, covering his tracks, as he let Delilah sit down, eyeing the necklace fondly, before stating, "Get what-ever you want, but dessert will definitely need to wait." he gave her a coy grin, his feet nudging hers gently under the table as a few other people glanced their way, though only offered smiles if they were caught by Owen or Delilah. He didn't care, he found Delilah the most beautiful woman here. "They're jealous." he mused towards a couple of girls, probably a few years younger than Delilah, shooting a few looks in her direction. Toying with the menu, Owen tilted his head gently, "I helped make your...treat, too." Once they had gotten dinner, though only small things, at their "isolated" table, for just them, Owen looked up as their waiter came and set down Delilah's red velvet cake in front of the two of them. "Happy birthday, Deli." Owen mused, giving a bright grin.

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
“You’re gorgeous, Deli.” Owen said and kissed her with familiar eagerness. Returning the kiss she smiled at him. He really was the best boyfriend she had ever had. “Thank you, love.” She said wanting to just wrap her arms around him and squeeze him so tightly that he wouldn’t be able to breathe. She felt this urge for two reasons. One being that he was so damn cute and the other being that she was so happy. This birthday was turning out to be the best one yet and just absolutely perfect. No, she didn’t have Beth or Hayden to celebrate it with, but she had Owen. He was better than her family. Sometimes she got annoyed with her family, but she never got annoyed with Owen. You know why? He’s perfect. Well at least Delilah thought so. She never saw him mess up before and if he ever did mess or had messed up before well she certainly had never noticed it. She found lately that it was kind of impossible to get mad at him. Everything was endearing to her when he did it. Maybe it was the smile or the look in her eyes, but she just melted like butter in a frying pan. That probably wasn’t the best thing ever, but she didn’t care because she was in love and when you were in love you didn’t care about anything. Only the person you were in love with and hell, what could Owen do that would get her angry? He loved her and since he was in love he wouldn’t want to hurt her. Right? Well Delilah believed that he would never want to intentionally hurt her or cause her pain. He was a good boy and a gentle man. Also what purpose would he have to hurt her? Because he’s a boy idiot and that’s what boys do. They hurt people and manipulate them. Hey! Don’t talk about Owen like that! Wait…I haven’t talked to you in a while. How are you? Good just needing a time to talk I guess. Oh well that’s good I guess. Yeah, but anyway Owen may seem sweet, but he could break your heart quicker than he can flash a smile. Shut up brain! Owen isn’t like that! You’re a liar! Fine. Don’t believe me. You’ll learn the hard way. Liar… Delilah thought having another fight with herself.
Owen grasped her hand and together they went to the high end restaurant with the best view in Manuka. “Normally, I’m good with anywhere to ear, but…they have the best…food here.” Owen said and Delilah smiled. Looking around, her smile grew and her eyes sparkled with happiness and excitement. Tonight would be awesome she just knew it and she was glad that she was here with Owen. Right now he was the only person she wanted to be around at the moment. She wanted to share this moment with him and only him. Then Owen directed her toward their table and she sat down next to him making sure they weren’t too far away. “Get what-ever you want, but dessert will definitely need to wait.” he said nudging her lightly from under the table she giggled and nudged him back playfully. “Don’t worry I already have the best dessert of all.” She said smiling at him. Giving him a small kiss on the lips, she pulled away and smiled. Ruffling his hair a little bit she giggled again and then rested her head on his shoulder content with the situation. “They’re jealous.” Owen said and she glanced up at him not knowing what he was talking about because she was only really paying attention to Owen. “Hmm? Oh…oh yeah well they’re just jealous that they can’t be with someone like you.” She said smiling up at him. Glancing over to the girls that were staring at the couple Delilah gave them one of those flirty and obnoxious waves. They all scoffed at Delilah’s actions and she giggled. “I think I made them madder.” She giggled trying not to be too loud. “I helped make your…treat, too?” He said and she looked up at him impressed. She knew he could cook, but she didn’t know he could bake as well. Wow, he was perfect. “ Can’t wait, love.” She said smiling brightly at him. Straightening up she grabbed her menu and flipped through it picking out what she wanted. Soon the waiter came and gave them their food. The two ate their food happily and soon after they were done the waiter came again. He set down a cake and her eyes widened in surprise. “Happy birthday, Deli.” he said with a smile as bright as his eyes. She smiled at him just the same and leaned into him. Kissing him on the lips eagerly and then kissed him again getting more into it. For a few moments she forgot about and only him then pulled away realizing what she was doing. Patting his chest she said smiling, “Sorry, got distracted about my other dessert.” Giggling she looked at the cake excited. “This looks amazing Owen.” She said smiling ear to ear.

Owen couldn't help but grin like any proud boyfriend would. What he wanted to do most was show Delilah off to the world, to be able to say, yeah, she's my girlfriend to anyone and everyone who dared to ask. The wolf grinned sheepishly about her comment on having the bst dessert already. Winking, he mused, "Don't ruin your appetite." he teased, scanning over everything calmly, ignoring those girls once Delilah shut them up by acknowledging them and that they had been looking at her. The wolf's eyes remained locked onto Delilah's quietly as their lips molded easily to the other's. God he loved being able to kiss those sweet, intoxicating lips when-ever he wanted to. Owen's eyes fixated on the dessert that was heading their way then, the cake heading their way on a gold platter, as Owen had asked they swap their usual silver items for them, no matter, he'd pay extra if they had to. Fortunately none of it was silver except the platters, and therefore Owen had them swap it out for them, that way they could actually eat and enjoy the cake. Their lips met once more and Owen was particularly glad he was able to kiss Delilah, he knew the cake wouldn't and shouldn't be compared to their kisses. Their kisses were just too sweet, too mouthwatering and delicious. He would never get tired of kissing Delilah. Accepting the knife the man offered him to cut the cake with, Owen felt Delilah pat his chest and he listened keenly to her words. Giving a shy smile, he mused, "We can always save some for later of course, too." Owen smiled, "Wonderful, here." he let her see the actual part of the cake too, red velvet. Flashing a sheepish grin, Owen let her have a piece before getting one for himself.
"Happy birthday, darling Deli. Just expect your other birthdays to get better." he promised, throwing her a quick wink and a grin before he let her take a bite of the piece first before he then let Delilah take as much cake as he wanted, before he then asked for a box for them to take it home in. With that, Owen stood up and graciously offered Delilah his hand once they were both finished, "Did you enjoy your meal?" he inquired, setting down money to cover their bill and a nice tip for the waiter who had done the silver-swapping for the two of them without any questions. Which to Owen meant he was a fellow supernatural, or he just didn't care. Personally both sounded fine as long as the guy wouldn't do anything stupid. Owen's hand intertwined with Delilah's own wonderfully soft fingers. Giving them a gentle squeeze as they headed back to their apartment, Owen wrinkled his nose slightly as he caught the scent of what smelled like a Hunter. Keeping a hand with Deli's, he urged, "C'mon...you smell that, don't you?" the scent of blood mixed with rage, and supernatural as well, with human. It wasn't a hybrid.
Upon returning to his apartment, Owen then set the cake away into the fridge for them to eat it whenever they felt like it. Untying his bowtie then on the suit, he then looked to Delilah quietly and inquired, his arms finding her waist and holding her to him, his lips molded to hers for a few moments and he grinned gently into the token of love before he inquired, "Anything else you would like to do tonight?" he cocked an eyebrow curiously towards the beautiful brunette werewolf, with an easy hand, feeding Apollo to keep the dog occupied and settled for awhile, as Owen kept the space between him and Delilah as small as possible, wanting to be as close to her as possible.

Needless to say, Owen was pretty happy about how well Deli's birthday had gone over a few days ago. Now, he was just getting off his shift with his physics internship with Dr. Romano, and was heading back to his apartment, correction, their apartment. Brushing his hand over his jet black hair, he suddenly paused in the middle of his walking when then, his phone went off. Frowning, the wolf then held it up so he could see it, as the sun turned, the time being about 5:30 or so. His eyes widened at the sight of it. It couldn't be, could it? He sighed softly, and answered the phone, "Hey, Lacy." His ex-girlfriend, the one he had been so close to, they'd even slept together too, but she had ended up moving to California for her modeling, and what he wanted to know was why she was suddenly calling him. "Hey Owen, darling!" He scowled slightly, "What do you want, Lacy?" she clicked her tongue, obviously sounding amusing, "Oh, my Owen's gotten better, you're not stuttering as much my sweetheart. Say, what are you doing?" Pausing, he glanced around, almost nervous, he wanted to know what Lacy was wanting from him, "Going home, why?"
He could practically hear Lacy beaming on the other side of the line, "I'm in Manuka! Wanna grab a drink real quick at my place? It's a few miles from where you live." She hadn't known he moved, but that was perfectly fine with him. "Umm.." Lacy laughed, "Don't worry, just drinks, I promise." Hesitating, Owen agreed, and then promptly texted Delilah, besides, Lacy had mentioned she had a boyfriend, he could trust her enough, right? He reassured Deli he wasn't going to drink, just meet up with her since she said she had only wanted to talk. Whatever. Owen sent Deli Lacy's address she'd told him as well, just in case Lacy said it would be okay for Delilah to join them. He headed that way and knocked on the door to the one-story house, nervously standing there, he knew nothing would happen, he wouldn't hurt Delilah, and he and Lacy could...possibly patch things up between them he hoped optimistically. Upon seeing the model-beautiful blonde, Owen paused, as Lacy greeted him and invited him inside, "C'mon in, stranger."

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
“Happy birthday, darling Deli. Just expect your other birthdays to get better.” Owen vowed and he did his own wink. She giggled and nudged him lightly. Owen cut her a piece of cake and she smiled big at him. Grasping her fork she tore off a piece with her fork and brought it up to her mouth. Chewing on her red velvet cake she smiled at him content with the situation. This birthday rocked. Looking back at the birthdays she had had she almost laughed out loud at the thought of them. Especially want her boyfriends had done to her. Sometimes they forgot, sometimes all they wanted was sex, and sometimes they got stuff that would benefit them, like baseball tickets. Not that Delilah didn’t like baseball because she did, but it was her birthday, not theirs. That was why Delilah was done with guys like that because now that she had Owen by her side. She knew now that she didn’t have the deal with what she had had. She deserved better then all those jerks that only wanted sex and her body. It hurt her to think that she was so stupid and so gullible. She had let herself get hurt and she let herself be heartbroken whenever they’d leave her. She hated it and all she wished was that she would never make that mistake again. Then again she would never need to find another boy friend because she had one that she was content with Owen. She was happy and she knew that they were soul mates. I mean how could they not be? They were perfect for each other! I mean Owen calmed Delilah down and Delilah made Owen less awkward. She knew that she had helped because he almost never stuttered now when before he stuttered almost every word. Delilah didn’t want to take full credit, but she thought that she had something to do with it. Well she hoped that she did. She wanted to know that she made Owen a better person that at least she had done something for him. She always felt like she was just a person that he loved, not something that did anything for him. It was like she was a burden and she really didn’t want to be a burden to him. She knew he loved her, but if she was a burden then after awhile he wouldn’t love her too much. That was why Delilah had to not be a burden. She had to be able to give him something that would make her less burden-y. She didn’t know how to do that, but she’d figure it out as soon as possible.
Soon her stomach was full of yummy cake and food and the couple got a box to store their leftover food into. “Did you enjoy your meal?” he asked and she nodded happily. Intertwining their fingers together she stood up and let him lead her out of the restaurant. Then a scent drifted into the air and Delilah inhaled deeply trying to figure out what the scent was. It smelled like…hunter. Uh oh. Not good, not good at all. “C’mon…you smell that, don’t you?” he said and she nodded. She neared him to feel safer and more secure because near Owen she always felt that. “Yeah….I do…” She said looking around cautiously. “Let’s go.” She said urgently. Quickly she led him out and the two safely got home. When they got home she smiled at him and wrapped her arms around his neck and allowed their lips to mold to each other’s perfectly. Then they pulled away and she took off her Converse. “Anything else you would like to do tonight?” He asked feeding Apollo. Biting her lip she thought and then smiled ear to ear. “Yes, I’ll meet you in your room. Change your clothes though.” She told him walking backwards into her room. Closing the door behind her, she stripped down and slipped on a lace cami and small pajama shorts. Walking out of her room she walked softly into his room and saw him sitting on his bed. Sitting down next to him, she wrapped her arms around his waist. “I want to sleep with you tonight in your bed. No sex, just sleep.” She said smiling up at him. Crawling under the covers she patted the spot next to her. Clutching the blankets she gave him the puppy dog eyes and said, “Come over. I’m cold! I need my wolfie!” As soon as he came next to her, she wrapped her arms around his body and nuzzled her head into his chest. Smiling, she watched Apollo pad into Owen’s room and then jump up unto it. Apollo then rested himself at the foot of the bed and Delilah giggled. “We have a visitor.” She whispered smiling up into his blue eyes. “Night, love.” She murmured fluttering her eyes closed and let herself drift into sleep.

Delilah was out with a few friends when Owen texted her about going over his ex-girlfriend’s house and he promised that he wasn’t going to be drinking or doing anything with Lacy. Delilah bit her lip and texted back ‘K’. She trusted Owen, but she definitely didn’t trust Lacy. She knew that if Lacy loved Owen like Delilah loved Owen now then well she knew what that whore might try on Delilah’s man. But Delilah had to trust Owen. He’d stop her if she tried anything. Delilah knew that. She trusted him. She really did. It only took a few moments to calm herself and then let herself have fun with her friends. When she came home she took Apollo out and then fed him. It was when she was done that she felt her phone buzz in her pocket. Getting it out of her pocket, she slide it up she saw it was a text from Owen. She smiled and read the text. It said for her to come over and hang out with them. Good, now Delilah could keep an eye on Lacy. Quickly she made her way to where Lacy lived and opened the door without knocking because well she was already invited over so why would she need to knock. But when she opened the door she wished she would have knocked because what she saw made her freeze and her heart broke. On the coffee table there were two glasses and an open bottle of wine. What was on the couch though was what broke her heart. Lacy was on top of Owen, her shirt un buttoned, kissing his face off while the shirtless Owen under her had his arms around her and was returning the kisses almost just as fierce. How lovely! Delilah’s hands twitched with anger and her jaw tightened. How dare he cheat on her and in front of her too! He fucking promised to never cheat! That liar! “You know you might want to finish fucking before you invite someone over because some people might find it impolite.” She said her voice taut. Almost ripping the necklace that Owen had given her off her neck she threw it to the ground and slammed the door behind her. She ran a block away from Lacy’s household and then leaned up against the store wall and let the hot tears roll down her face. How could Owen do this to her? He said he had loved her. What a liar! She hated him. She hated that whore. She hated them both! She never wanted to see Owen again.

Owen hadn't been expecting this. Lacy looked like she did before, though her hair was...shinier, he supposed. The best part was, he didn't really feel anything towards her, maybe they could at least patch things up. Blue eyes watched her own carefully, as if he was waiting for her to attack - not in the actual definition, but attack as if make a move. Lacy was known for doing things like that, and no caring about the ramifications. The blonde grinned, "You look good, hot, Owen. Have you been working out?" She flashed her perfect teeth his way and opened a bottle of wine. The wolf shook his head, "Just.something else...please, I don't drink much." Lacy paused, shrugged and poured herself a glass, then handed Owen some water in a glass that wasn't clear. Though as he had been looking around, Lacy then spiked his drink mildly, and handed it to him, her eyes raking over the man she had broken his heart years ago. Sipping her wine, she purred, "How have you been my little genius? Well, not so little, how tall are you now?" Pausing as he felt the juice, or whatever it was slide down his throat, Owen frowned slightly, though answered as Lacy sat down on her couch, with the wine bottle and her glass, "I've always been tall...and I have an internship. How's modeling?" Lacy sighed softly, patting the seat next to her, tossing her hair over her shoulder, lips parting as she grinned at the man. The man she wanted back, unaware of him being a werewolf. Hesitating, Owen reluctantly sat down, setting his drink down as Lacy then poured more wine into his drink while his attention had been on what was behind him. Giving him enough to get him hazy a bit at least, she sneered lightly.
"Just fine, my genius." she cooed, reverting back to the little nickname she'd given him the moment he told her that the test had showed he was at the genius level, and well into it too. Owen grinned uneasily, gulping down more of his drink, only to frown when he thought he tasted alcohol. He was being paranoid, he told himself. Lacy was a flirt, but she wouldn't d something like that. "Tell me Owen," she spoke, running a hand through his hair, and he promptly shook his head to get her hand out of his thick hair, "Did you miss me?" she inquired, sitting up on her knees on the couch, closing the space between them. Owen leaned back and away from her, before he spoke, grabbing his heavily-spiked drink, "N-no..." he frowned at him, inching away from Lacy, "I didn't...and don't." Lacy hummed gently, her eyes raking over him as she then leaned back to her side of the couch, twirling a lock of her hair around a finger as she then eyed his and her phones, sitting on the glass coffee table. Owen, anxious then excused himself to her restroom, and while he was gone, Lacy added more alcohol to his drink, and then grabbed his phone. She sneered and found the most recent text, to a certain girl named Delilah. Oh wonderful! She thought in her little blonde head.
Tossing her blonde hair over her shoulder, Lacy smirked, her plump lips parting and a triumphant look broke over her features. There was no boyfriend for her. No way, besides, Owen would be easy to catch as long as this Delilah did what she hoped. The moment Owen came back though, Delilah had already been texted, and he warily watched Lacy as she stood up, approached him and handed him his glass, holding hers up in a cheer, "Here's to..rekindling old friendships." Lacy winked a bright green eye towards the male, who tensed, though down the rest of the glass. He and Lacy chatted about...simple things for a few, as he could begin to feel...almost drunk. Not drunk but...definitely tipsy. What the hell? Owen frowned, slightly dazed. What the hell had happened? He looked to Lacy who grinned and placed a hand on his chest, suddenly pushing him onto the couch, so his head rested on the arm rest, "I missed you tons, Owen. I want you back." Wait...what? Owen's mind attempted to register this, but the male barely had time to even think about anything else when Lacy suddenly had her lips on his. Not thinking - like a drunken idiot, the wolf soon found himself minus a shirt, and Lacy's shirt opened. Just kissing back, as if on auto-pilot, the ex-girlfriend grinned into their make-out kissing as she heard her front door open.
Owen partially did, his mildly drunken stupor allowed him to hear it, but a few moments after it finally registered into his head. Suddenly, a familiar voice, and blue eyes shot open in horror. Delilah! Realizing with a sinking stomach it hadn't been Delilah he'd been kissing - idiot! Owen heard the door slam. Damn it. Cursing, Owen leered at Lacy, who grinned triumphantly, "She doesn't deserve you, Owen. You told me she doesn't even have a job. How pathetic!" Owen's heart sank and he shook his head, pushing Lacy onto the floor with a light grunt from her, he spoke, his words coming to him, but it took him a moment to say them, damn Lacy, he hoped she burned, "No....Lacy." he leaned up, grabbing his phone and realizing she'd been the one to text Delilah. "I...I love Delilah. I don't want you...at all." He stumbled up and growled, "Why the hell...did you spike...my drink?" he grabbed his button-down shirt and slung it on, leaving it unbuttoned, and Lacy stood up, placing a hand on her hips, "Because! I knew you'd never cheat on a girlfriend, you were so good with me. I miss that Owen. You know that you and her won't last." Owen scowled, "Delilah is the only one for me...Lacy." he snarled, managing to bend down and pick up the locket he'd noticed glinting in the light.
Getting out of there, he leaned against a light pole, allowing the chilly nighttime air to help wake him up out of the stupor, allow his mind to get a bit more clear. He felt like scum. He knew he shouldn't have trusted Lacy. She'd do whatever she needed to get what she wanted. Running his hand over his lips, as if to get Lacy's lips off his, Owen's head sagged as he then caught onto Delilah's scent. It was to easy to recognize now, it was hard not to catch it when she wasn't within his vision. The wolf managed to work his way towards her, his walking easier now as the nighttime air against his chest and abdomen helped. Pausing, about seven feet from Delilah, Owen spoke, holding up his hands, noticing tears down her face, god he felt like a douche, "Deli....please...listen." he spoke, good, his werewolf metabolism was working, "I would...never have done something like that..Lacy she.." he rubbed his temple, "She spiked my drink! You know I don't drink to begin with!" he let the wall support him as the ground felt like it was tilting slightly. Damn, how much did Lacy let him drink? Owen's panicked blue eyes looked to Delilah, "Delilah, please. I'm so sorry...I..I trusted her...like...like an idiot...I didn't think she would...do that." he spoke, quickly buttoning up the shirt then with quick, though stumbling fingers. Owen looked to the other werewolf silently, panic etched onto his features, pain evident in his eyes, but mostly horror and panic. "Deli..."

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are Letting the tears roll down her face Delilah thought of how stupid she was. Why hadn’t she seen this coming? She had been cheated on so many times before so why did this one hurt more than all the others? Probably because Owen meant the most to her and she believed him when he promised he would never hurt her, like a fool. She was so stupid. Lies. It was all lies. Every single thing he said to her was a lie. He didn’t love her. He didn’t care about her. They weren’t soul mates. And now they weren’t even boyfriend and girlfriend. That’s right. Delilah was done with Owen. She had been cheated on before and worst mistake she always made so forgiving them and coming back to them. It never got better, only worse. She didn’t want another heart break from Owen, who was the one guy she thought would never hurt her and make her cry and make her feel this bad about herself. What had she done that could have led him to this? Oh who was she kidding? Lacy was a fricking model for crying out loud and what was Delilah? She was a girl that was a burden and was about to sing her first recording, but who knew if it’d even be popular. She was such an idiot to think that someone with so much potential like Owen would stay with Delilah that only had one thing going for her and that was singing. Owen needed to be with someone better and smarter and just…not her. She wasn’t good enough for him. She knew it. She always knew it, but was too blind to admit it. She hoped, somewhere in her heart, that maybe she was enough, but she was wrong. She wasn’t enough and she would never be enough for him, but that was okay. She wouldn’t change for him because that just wasn’t who she was. It was his lost because she was in for the long run with him, but now she didn’t want anything to do with him. He was scum. He was scum on scum! He was scum on scum on scum! He was the worst scum there was and she never wanted to see his face again because Delilah that if she did she’d only crumple when she saw those brilliant blue eyes of his.
“Deli…please….listen. I would…never have done something like that…Lacy she…she spiked my drink! You know I don’t drink to begin with!” he said leaning against a wall because he had been drinking. Did he really expect her to believe all that shit? He was lying. She knew he was. Or at least she wanted to believe that he was lying. Delilah wiped the tears from her face trying not to look as weak as she felt. “ Do you really expect me to believe that? Owen, do you know how many times I’ve been cheated on before? More then I should have been! So you know what I don’t believe your lies and I’m done with you! I’m not going down this road again! I think you drank willingly and that you kissed her willingly. I saw you two. You had your arms around her! No one forced you to do that! I can’t trust you anymore. You were supposed to be the one guy that would never hurt, but now you’re the one guy that’s hurt me the most. I can’t even look at you without feeling disgusted!” She exclaimed her dark eyes blazing with fury and anger. Crossing her arms across her chest she looked at him saw the locket in his hand. Her jaw tightened and she looked at Owen. “ You can give that locket to Lacy because I don’t want it anywhere near me. ” She said her voice taut. She didn’t think Owen would dare give it to her, but just in case he was stupid enough to even try to give her it. “Delilah, please. I’m so sorry…I…I trust her…like…like an idiot…I didn’t think she would…do that.” Owen said buttoning up his shirt that was previously on him but not buttoned. She rolled her eyes at him and just shot daggers at him with her eyes. “ No, I trusted you like an idiot and I didn’t think you would do that to me.” She retorted her eyes narrow with hate and anger. “Deli…” Owen said and she almost growled at him when he called her that. He couldn’t call her that anymore. She was Delilah to him now. Nothing else. “Don’t call me that. My name’s Delilah.” She said sharply. Taking a deep breath she said, “Don’t follow me.” With that she turned around and walked away from Owen. Soon she broke out into a full out run just to get away from him so he wouldn’t be able to see her tears streaming down her face. She had never felt more hurt or more cheated or more betrayed. It wasn’t long though until she was at their apartment well Owen’s apartment now. She had to move out now. There was no way she was staying in that apartment. She didn’t need to see Owen everyday being happy with some other girl, most likely Lacy. She had to move out; she just needed to get away. So when she reached the apartment she wiped her eyes and when she opened the door Apollo padded up to her obviously concerned. She shook her head and didn’t acknowledge Apollo. Apollo always made Delilah think of Owen, which was the one thing she didn’t want to think of. Rushing to her room was grabbed some suitcases and packed everything, but her furniture and anything that had to do with Owen, like their pictures. With her bags she looked at her fish and sighed. She thought of taking them, but they reminded her of Owen as well. Then taking out her keys she put them on the counter and glanced at Apollo. Then she left the apartment never intending to ever come back again. Delilah got a taxi because well she didn’t have a car, but she did have her license. She was going to get a car when she got the money and well it wasn’t a rush because Owen always drove her places quite willingly. Owen had offered to buy her a car many a times, but she always said that he didn’t have to. She didn’t want to be a burden to him. Well more of a burden that is. Giving the taxi driver the address of two friends, Melosa and Aidan, she waited patiently as the taxi driver drove her to their house. Yes, it was stupid for her to go there, but well the only other person she really trusted to live with was Hayden, but she wasn’t exactly sure where he lived at the moment and she didn’t want to bother him. Then when they finally stopped Delilah paid the man and grabbed her bags. Walking to the door she knocked on door. Melosa opened the door with a smile and said, “Hello Delilah.” Delilah rubbed her lips and looked up at Melosa, “ Can I stay here for a little while…please.” Melosa looked worried, but nodded. She led Delilah into the house and Delilah dodged Aidan’s concerned gaze. Melosa then lead Delilah into the guest room and said, “You can stay here.” Delilah nodded and Melosa closed the door behind her.
Then next morning Melosa walked into her room and lightly shook her awake. Delilah fluttered her eyes opened and said sleepily, "Morning." Melosa nudged Delilah and Delilah sat up. Melosa sat next to her and said, "Okay I wanted to wait until you woke up, but well I kind of need to talk to you now." Delilah looked at her confused, but Melosa added, "What happened last night, dear?" Delilah bit her lip and rocked back and forth wondering what to say. " Owen cheated on me with his ex-girlfriend, Lacy." She admitted looking at Melosa with misery filling her eyes. A delicate hand that belonged to Melosa covered Melosa's mouth do to shock. Soon that hand stroked Delilah's curly brown hair. "It'll be okay, dear." She said soothingly embracing the young werewolf. "It won't be, but it's fine. Melosa...why did you need to talk to me right now?" She asked. Melosa hesitated to respond to this question, but then said, "Owen wants to talk to you. He's here." Delilah let go of Melosa and shook her head 'no'. "I don't want to talk to him." Delilah said looking at the ground.

It was the longest night on record. At least for Owen. Deli had become Delilah now, and when he had managed to work himself back to his apartment now, and only his, he felt a pang of guilt wash over him. Apollo greeted him, whining, like he knew what had happened. Owen groaned and collapsed onto the couch, "God...Apollo...being drunk sucks." Apollo tilted his head and then lied his head down on Owen's knee. He didn't feel like he had a heart anymore, Delilah had taken it with her whether she knew it or not. Lacy had gotten what she wanted, she had managed to break him and Delilah up so she could make her move on him. Leaning up, his face sunk into the palms of his hands, then he heard someone calling him. Stupid optimism told him it would be Delilah, but it ended up being Aidan instead. What the? Answering it, slightly slurred still, "Hullo?" Aidan growled, "What the hell is wrong with you?" Owen ran a hand through his thick hair, closing his eyes, the alcohol lingering in his system, "Huh?" Aidan sighed, "Delilah just showed up at our house tears flowing like...Niagra falls...what the hell Owen? I will call Dylan to have him kick your ass for me if he happens to beat me there." Owen growled, "Aidan...I literally had no idea Lacyhadthiswhole...elaborateschemeythingy...in her head. She..eventexted Delilah." Owen lied his head back onto the couch, blue eyes looking up blankly at the ceiling, "Owen, you and I have been tested, our IQ is off the charts, yet you have no common sense brother! Look..you get yourself sober, you hear? Call me in the morning when you get up. Delilah's staying with us for as long as she wants to."
Owen hung up, and dropped his phone on the couch, and looked at Apollo, "Don't judge me. I was the idiot and trusted her. I should have known." Apollo whined, before lying at the foot of Owen's bed as Owen crawled in there, only quickly stripping down to his boxers, and clocked out for a good 9 hours. He rolled over, and sighed at the sunlight basking most of his room in the warmth. What the hell happened last night? Felt like a bad dream. Blue eyes blinked as he looked to Apollo who looked as stressed as Owen could partially remember he looked like night. Settling back into his covers, he allowed his recovering mind to process. Then it slammed into him like a bullet, or no...a dump truck going 50 miles an hour. Lacy had spiked his drink, he'd become a drunken idiot, and kissed her, Delilah saw, all to Lacy's plan...she had wanted Owen back, and was willing to step on anyone, even him to get that goal. Delilah. He punched the bed and growled, jumping out of bed and Apollo followed him, eagerly and wanting to be fed. Feeding him, Owen spoke, "I need to get her back, Apollo." The dog tilted his head and Owen then held up a little black box, "She's...our 3-year anniversary of being best friends and roomies is coming up." he grinned sheepishly towards the dog, "God..I'm talking to my dog." Apollo licked his hand with the little black box, "I mean...we've been together for awhile, and...I had even been thinking of asking her..."
Owen groaned and headed out, patting Apollo good-bye, also with the locket. He headed to Aidan's and Melosa's, texting his brother to let him know he was on his way. Upon arriving, Aidan gave his younger brother the stink-eye, "You're an idiot, Owen." Owen scowled, "Shut up...I know that. Where is she?" He paused and Melosa looked to the brothers, "I'm...going to see her now. Did you want to speak with her, Owen?" The wolf nodded and Aidan grabbed him by the back of his neck and pushed him inside the house, closing the door behind him and pointed to a couch in the living room, "Sit." Aidan growled, and Owen obediently did, eyes looking to his older brother carefully, who sat across from him on a love seat, "Owen, first, why did you go see Lacy?" Owen paused, fiddling with the locket, "She told me she wanted to...you know, mend things between us. That she knew I had a girlfriend and that her boyfriend was there...so I shouldn't worry." Aidan shook his head of jet black hair like Owen and Dylan, "He wasn't there, was he? He doesn't exist, does he." Owen's head sagged.
Melosa patted Delilah's shoulder gently, "You know....it might be best to maybe talk to him? Only if you want, dear." she brushed the younger woman's hair gently, "Would you want me to tell him anything if you don't wish to see him?" Downstairs, Owen was getting a stare-down from Aidan. "Dude...really?" Aidan was giving him a disapproving look and he shook his head, "Oh Owen...well...I'd go talk to her. Take the locket if you dare." Owen shook his head towards his older brother, "I will." the wolf paused at the bottom of the stairs, feeling like he was about to burst into flames any moment. He wanted to see Delilah, he wanted to tell her how horrible he was feeling, tell her he would make it up to her everyday for the rest of his life. Walking up the stairs, he knocked anxiously on the room and Melosa then opened it, her own version of the stink-eye and she spoke, "Owen, I will let you see her if you promise me this." The 6'3" male shifted anxiously by the mermaid who raised a finger at him, "Promise me you will baby Delilah for her life, and if she does take you back, I want you to tell her you love her every day and spoil her." Owen was already planning that, but he nodded all the same. Melosa nudged him inside, and closed the door, leaving Owen feeling like a deer in headlights. Stumbling over his words, he noticed the beautiful brunette, looking as gorgeous as she always had, "Delilah...hi..." he paused, "I know you don't want to talk to me...all I ask...is that you hear me out." He hovered away from her, looking down to his hands that in one, held the locket, the little black box was in another pocket, out of sight and out of mind. Owen only wanted Delilah, he honestly didn't know why he had kissed Lacy and didn't shove her off. He felt like a cheater, like scum who deserved to be walked and spat on for the rest of his life. "I can tell you how sorry I am..but...I am...I was the idiot, Delilah. You're perfect, and you don't deserve what happened to you in the past...and especially last night." His blue eyes fell, "If I could...ever...I would, will spend the rest of my life making it up to you, just so that maybe...maybe, we could at least be friends again." All he wanted was for her to be happy, he loved her. Hell yes, but he believed they were soul mates, but if Delilah didn't choose him, it would ultimately be up to her.
