And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are It was raining again. Lately it seemed like it was raining quite a lot. It didn’t matter though because Delilah loved the rain. She loved nature and all of its parts. Rain was in the category of its parts of course. Delilah loved dancing, singing, and running in the rain. Especially when she was in her wolf form with Owen. Actually the two of them had shifted together only two days ago. That was after Owen had graduated and Delilah got to meet his family. She honestly had been quite scared about meeting them and she thought that they wouldn’t like her. Thankfully everything went well and Delilah thought that they really liked her. Well that was what Owen told her. He always had a way of making her feel better and a way of making her feel secure. Just another one of his many talents that he didn’t even know about. That was one of the best parts. He didn’t know of these talents and he just did it naturally. He didn’t need to try, he just did it. It was great. He was great. There was no denying it or her feelings for Owen. Yes, Delilah liked Owen. Oh who am I kidding? She loved the wolf. He was her everything. Because of him all her dreams came true. That was why she loved him. He was her angel, her love, her dreams, her future, and her reason that she was still alive. He took her in and saved her from dying on the streets. He was also her best friend, the best friend she could have ever asked God for. That was why Delilah couldn’t get enough of the awkward wolf.
Even though Delilah loved the rain she just couldn’t find herself being happy because the last time it rained her sister almost killed her. With a silver dagger no less. That would have been the worst thing that ever happened to Delilah. Silver felt terrible. It felt like fire all over a wolf. Delilah was lucky enough to get away with only a warning to never come near Beth again. Still, she wanted to try again. Delilah wanted to change Beth’s mind. She wanted her sister back. She wanted little Beth that Delilah loved. Looking out the window she said, “ Yeah, I’m going.” Grabbing the phone book she looked up Beth’s address and then put the book back. Running out the door she sprinted toward Beth’s house, which wasn’t too far away. In only a few minutes Delilah was completely soaked, but she didn’t care. This was her sister she was talking about. Delilah would do anything for Beth. As Delilah reached the door she knocked on the wood and waited. Soon she heard footsteps and Beth swung the door open. Her blue eyes hardened at the sight of Delilah and she then narrowed them. “What are you doing here?” She asked angrily. “I told you to stay away from me.” Delilah swallowed scared and said, “Beth…I want to talk to you. You don’t have to do this.” Beth then reached for something that Delilah couldn’t see because of how the door was positioned. Then Beth said, “Yes I do. I have to kill supernaturals like you.” Finally Delilah saw what the object was that Beth was reaching for when she pointed it at Delilah. It was a gun. Delilah eyed the gun frightened and back up a few steps. “Beth…don’t.” Delilah said shaking. “You should have stayed away.” Beth said walking toward Delilah. Delilah’s brown eyes widen and she began to ran, but Beth was catching up to her shooting away. The bullets weren’t silver, but if one hit Delilah it could kill her. As Delilah ran in the rain she tripped and landed hard on the ground scrapping her side pretty badly. Beth then aimed and shot. The bullet went spiraling and hit Delilah in the stomach. Delilah cried out in pain and Beth just smirked. “Hope you learned your lesson, mutt. If you somehow survive, don’t come back.” Delilah watched, through the blurry rain, Beth’s figure walk back toward her house and Delilah moaned in pain. She slowly got up, but she was in so much pain that she fell over a few times, but she successfully made to the park, which was the closest place she could go to. Collapsing on the ground she breathed heavily. She eyes felt heavy and she allowed herself to go unconscious. Everything was black after that.

Rain. Ugh. He didn't mind it, but he didn't like it either. Personally it was like it was with any other type of weather, at least this way it allowed him to be a vegetable today and do nothing if he pleased. Delilah was doing something, and he was just...wandering around his apartment, well - their apartment, but either way, he paid the rent, Delilah was getting her contract soon with the DZX Records anyway. Nevertheless, the wolf lifted his gaze from his book, his reading glasses on and looked at the rescue dog who cocked his head back at Owen, "Don't give me that look." Apollo sneezed slightly, causing Owen to chuckle and ruffle the dog's hair gently, before getting up, adjusting his pants and stretching his lean 6'3" frame. Running a hand down his hair, he suddenly frowned when he heard Delilah's door opening, and then her promptly leaving. Where was she going? Usually she told him, no, she always told him, or would mention it in a text after she left. Though, something in his gut told him no, that he should pay attention. Glancing to his dog, the animal sighed and set his head down on Owen's bed once more. A slight grin melted on the werewolf's features before he then slid on some shoes and paused slightly as he tilted his head, silently wondering where Delilah could have gone. His internal panic spiked. He didn't want anything to happen to her, God only knew he wouldn't want to go a day without being able to see Delilah, without being able to be near her and make sure she was safe, happy and healthy.
Worry knitted his brows together, and Owen sighed heavily, stuffing his hands in his pockets and looking at Apollo quietly, before shrugging and speaking, mostly to himself too, "She'll be fine, don't you think?" he ran a hand anxiously through his hair, causing it to get tousled slightly before he then grabbed his keys after a few moments. It just didn't seem like Delilah to leave and not tell him. What was wrong? Had he said something? He doubted it, plus he didn't even want to think about ever hurting Delilah to begin with. Wrinkling his nose, he patted Apollo gently, and then headed out. He would just take a walk, enjoy the...rain he supposed. At least he didn't really smell like wet dog, that was a plus. Blue eyes darkened as the rain came down now, and he slid on the hood on his jacket, which happened to be pretty water proof, therefore the droplets slid right off the jacket. At least he didn't need to worry about being chilled to the bone or anything. He then tilted his head slightly as he inhaled slowly, and scowled, thinking he'd caught Delilah's scent. Was it her's? He wasn't sure.
As he strolled into the park, eyes piercing the rain, he suddenly frowned when the scent of blood caught his nostrils. What the hell? Long legs carried him over there, and he peeled off his hood, his hair getting another shower pretty much as he approached the blacked out figure. Wait...no...it couldn't be. It couldn't be her! A panicked look fell over his features, "Delilah!" he found himself inhaling sharply and dropped down, noticing the blood and horror painted itself over his features. Shaking, from fear, he didn't want to lose her. He couldn't. She was...perfection. He didn't even want to imagine life without her. Quickly, he shrugged off his jacket, and wrapped it around her to help keep her warm, "Deli...Deli!" his hand cupped her cheek, attempting to wake her up, positioning himself over her head so when she opened her eyes, no rain drops would be hitting her face, only his back. Owen reached down and noticed the blood, the gunshot in her stomach. Werewolves healed fast, but he still wasn't sure if he should take her to a hospital. He wouldn't lose her. "Stay with me, Deli." he begged, reaching his arms under her body quickly, tossing the hood of his jacket onto her head to help keep her warm. Werewolf or not, losing blood meant losing body heat, he'd make sure to keep her warm. "I should take you to a hospital.." he commented, but, he wasn't about to call his cousin, Rachel. She was a nurse, she'd take the bullet out if it was there. "Delilah, what happened?" he asked, heading out of the park and in the direction of a hospital.

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are The pain was becoming too much for Delilah’s small body. She was writhing in pain. Her breathing was heavy and she didn’t know what to do. She was too weak to walk to the apartment or to get help. She was losing blood fast and it wasn’t good. “Delilah!” someone called out. She couldn’t open up her eyes and she just heavily breathed trying to get air. She felt warmth come over her and heard the same person say, “Deli…Deli!” It was Owen. Delilah knew that. There was no question. He was the only one that ever called her that. Thank God it was Owen. Delilah suddenly felt safe and warm. She was going to be okay. With Owen she was always okay. He cupped her cheek and moved so the rain didn’t hit her body. Owen then gave her his jacket and wrapped it around her small frame. Her eyes opened wearily and she said softly, “ Owen…nice seeing you here.” She gave him a very weakly and tried to laugh, but when she tried she ended up moaning and writhing in pain. Delilah felt his arms under her and she grabbed his shirt pulling him closer because he was so warm. Thank God he was here. Again he was her guardian angel. He was always there to keep her safe and healthy. He was her Batman. Her Superman. Her Spiderman. Her Green Lantern. Her Incredible Hulk. He was every and any superhero she could think of. She couldn’t imagine anyone else that did that for her. Delilah was so happy he was there. If he hadn’t come she would have died in the park during the heavy rain. He really was a guardian angel. A perfect guardian angel. Her guardian angel.
“Stay with me, Deli.” He pleaded covering her head with the hood of his jacket. He was trying to keep her warm. Smart. She already knew that though. Owen was a genius. No denying it. He was top of his class when he graduated from college. Delilah wished she was as smart as he was. No, she wasn’t dumb, but not brilliant like Owen. She had enough smarts to be above average, but not genius level like Owen was. “I’ll ….always stay…with you.” She said breathing heavily in between her words. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled herself closer to his warm body. God he was warm and she was so cold. She rested her head in the bend of his neck. “I should take you to a hospital…” Delilah shook her head and whispered, “ No. no. no. no. no. no.” She said it multiple times just to make sure he heard her because her tone was light and whispery. “Too…dangerous. I’ll heal…too fast.” She explained breathing heavily as she spoke to him. Delilah’s fear was that there would be a hunter in the hospital and if Delilah healed too quickly then there could be some talk about her and her miraculous recovery then there could be drama for her and Owen. She didn’t want any drama and if anyone laid a finger on Owen then Delilah would rip them limb from limb. No one was going to hurt him! No one! Not while Delilah was around. Owen would always be safe around her. Even if she was kind of small and a girl well she could pack a punch if she wanted to. And her being a werewolf made her stronger. She could go into her wolf form and mess someone up good if they hurt someone she cared for. So if you want to hurt one of her friends well then think again because you’ll get messed up.
“Delilah, what happened?” he asked as he walked. She sighed and wondered how she could tell him that her sister shot her because she was a werewolf. Delilah bit her lip and looked up at his brilliant, bright, blue eyes. “ My sister…shot me….because she found…out I was a…werewolf…and that I was…still alive.” She said pausing every few words so she could catch her breathe again. “It okay though…she’s in a dark…place. She needs…time.” Delilah said not wanting Owen to do anything stupid like track Beth down. Beth was still her sister and whenever Delilah saw her sister she could only see the little bookworm that needed Hayden and Delilah to protect her. Owen never got to see this side of Beth so she didn’t want him to take revenge if he wanted to get it. Delilah wasn’t okay with people hurting the people she cared about and she didn’t know what she’d do if Owen hurt her sister. She’d probably be very torn and in the end choose Owen. She loved Owen and could never stay mad at him for more than two seconds tops. Okay that’s a little unreasonable. One second really. Yes, Delilah had a lot of tolerance for Owen and any of his antics. Looking up at him she asked, “Is it…bad?” She was referring to the wound of course. She hadn’t been able to look at it and she didn’t know how much blood was coming from it. She hoped it wasn’t too much. Losing too much blood was anything, but good. Blinking at him she waited for him to say something. Anything to calm her nerves.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r71/maggiesrpstuff/BACKGROUNDS/fk5qwnjpg.png); width: 457px; padding-top: 30; padding-bottom: 30; -moz-border-radius: 35 35 35 35; -webkit-border-radius: 35 35 35 35;]hi » FOREVER. Blue eyes darkened slightly at her words, eyes raking over her own eyes, as he watched her pupils react to the light. He'd taken medical classes, as he had been tempted to get a minor in medicine, but in the end he hadn't. Now he was glad he'd taken at least stuff to educate himself on things. Plus - common sense. Owen arched an eyebrow at her words, but didn't respond, he was too focused on getting her out of the rain. Upon hearing her say about always staying with him, Owen felt a slight breath of relief, sweet relief enter his lungs. She wouldn't leave him. He wouldn't leave her. He would never want to leave her. She had always been there for him, and he was always there for her. Delilah was...precious to him. She was something he didn't ever want to think about losing. Ever. It pained him to be honest when he thought about it. One thing he did know was that he wanted to make the person pay who had hurt Delilah. He'd kill them if he ever got the chance for putting Delilah's life in danger. Anyone for that matter, if they even played with the idea of hurting her, he'd make sure that they pay. Growling softly in his chest, Owen then frowned slightly, he hadn't thought of her healing fast. Idiot, he told himself. Scolding himself, he nodded and changed direction, taking her to the next best place on his list. Back to the apartment. Long legs picked up his pace slightly, aware of a few people casting a few glances to the soaked duos way. Thankful no one had approached them, Owen managed to sneak into the door, as he heard Delilah explain. He shushed her lightly, "Quiet, Deli." he mused gently, "Don't stress yourself." He needed to call his cousin, the best part she was half-witch, so perhaps she could help with the bleeding too, especially if Delilah had an artery that got clipped by the bullet too. The worst thing was, the bullet was still in her, that probably would need to be removed too, by magic preferably.
Owen kicked open his door, and headed into his apartment. No, it was his and Delilah's. He didn't want to lose her ever, she was like a drug to him. He didn't want to think about not getting a dose of her everyday. That pained him to think about in all honesty. Suddenly he paused, with Delilah still in his arms, Apollo pacing nervously when she asked if it was bad. Glancing down to the blood-stained part of her torso, he honestly didn't want to answer that. He didn't get to see the wound at all. Pausing slightly, Owen fibbed, his voice strained, but calm, "I...I'm not sure." He then set Delilah gently down on the floor, which would first, prove easy to clean up from her, and secondly, she needed to lay still and this way Owen could move on all sides of her, instead of on the couch. Which had been his first concern. He shifted his jacket, placing it under her head, and spoke, "Did you get hit anywhere else?" he asked, brushing some of her matted hair away from her hair worriedly, as he fumbled for his phone. "I'm going to call my cousin, she's a nurse...she can help...don't worry....she's half..witch." Owen spoke, calling her. Please pick up, the love best friend of his life, her life was in danger! Owen sighed in relief when Alice picked up, "Owen?" He spoke, noticing Apollo, who licked Delilah's cheek, then promptly lied down by her, offering her his warm, furry body as well.
"Alice! How far are you from my place?" Alice paused, as Owen grabbed a few pillows and tucked Delilah's feet under them, getting them elevated to help her stay awake from the blood loss, "Like 5 minutes, why? What's wrong?" Owen sighed shakily, and looked to Delilah, "My...my...Delilah's been shot." He spoke, and Alice gasped, "I'm on my way. See how bad it is, and get some water boiling, I'll bring some supplies." Owen stumbled, his panic getting the best of him as he got some water on the stove, and dropped to his knees besides Delilah, tilting his head, painfully aware that he too noticed how chilled he even felt, even if just slightly. Worried, he then sighed, "Um..." he had some gauze from the first aid kit with him, and he mused, "Sorry." he grimaced slightly, pulling up her blood-stained shirt to look at the wound. Blue eyes locked onto the wound, and he then placed it over the wound to help stop the bleeding. He didn't say anything about it being her sister, as he would give her time, oh, he would. He'd make sure she paid though. Especially for this. His hand that wasn't on Delilah, clenched slightly into a fist, before Owen sighed in relief as soon, Alice appeared, her bright blonde hair, unlike Owen's, tied back into a ponytail as she smiled at Delilah, "Hi, Delilah. I'm going to give you...well...quite a bit of sedative due to your metabolism, ok? It will help with the pain while Owen and I work on you."
words, enough. coming soon, hehe, lemme know when he should do it. o.o |

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
“Quiet, Deli. Don’t stress yourself.” He said gently to her while she was still in his strong arms. She nodded and stayed quiet like her asked. He was right. She needed to save her breathe and energy. She couldn’t be wasting it by talking useless gibber gabber. Delilah just lightly bit her lip and watched Owen walk toward the apartment and kick the door open. Delilah had never seen Owen do something like that. He was so…forceful. It was something different for her. She had never seen him like that…well except for that one night at the club, but this was different. He was different. The whole situation was different. Delilah hated the feeling that he was worrying so much about her. She didn’t want to be a burden and cause him to worry so much. Yes, getting shot by a gun was serious, but still she didn’t want him to get too worried and drive himself crazy. She was going to be fine…most likely…she hoped…she prayed. No, she was going to be okay. She had to, for Owen. She couldn’t let him be hurt by her death. She was going to be okay for him. She promised herself that. She couldn’t do that to the one she loved more than anyone. Yes, she loved Owen more than anyone. She spent so much time thinking about her, dreaming about her, and planning things for him. She couldn’t imagine a life without him. It would be like a life without sun shine or air or happiness. Yes, he was that important to her. If she could she’d take another bullet for him, right in the heart because she’d rather die than have to be without him for one day. She hoped that he felt the same toward her.
As they enter the apartment Apollo walked around nervous and she wanted to pet him tell him everything was alright. She loved Apollo too and didn’t want to see him hurt by her being hurt. “I…I’m not sure.” Owen said to the dog and Delilah suddenly felt nervous. Did Owen think she wasn’t going to make it? Did he think she was going to die? She was only twenty-one. She was too young to die. She didn’t want to die like this. She didn’t want to die because she couldn’t do what she was told and stay away from her sister. It was so simple. If only Delilah could have listened and just not went to Beth’s house. Then she wouldn’t be bleeding out because of a gunshot in her stomach. Why was she so stupid sometimes? Why did she have to be so stubborn and stuck in her ways? Why? That was all she had to ask. Why? Owen then laid her on the floor and she looked up at him. Most of the time when guys laid her down they wanted something else, but this time was different. Owen was just checking her to make sure she was going to be okay. He would never take advantage of her. He wasn’t like that. Not at all. He was kind and good and a gentleman. The perfect guy in her opinion. “Did you get hit anywhere else?” He asked pushing the hair out of her face. She shook her head no and said weakly, “ No, wolfie. Only my stomach.” She called him wolfie hoping to make him happier. She wanted him to know that things were going to be okay. She wouldn’t let herself die. She’d keep fighting until they dragged her away and into death. Delilah was stubborn though and she wouldn’t go without a good fight.
“I’m going to call my cousin, she’s a nurse…she can help…don’t worry…she’s half…witch.” He told her and she nodded. She trusted him and she trusted his cousin as well. She was a witch so she would be able to help her right? She could use magic and it would be less painful than Owen taking it out himself. Honestly Delilah didn’t care who took it out, she just wanted it out of her stomach. “Okay.” She said shortly remembering Owen telling her to be quiet. Breathing heavily she watched Owen talk to his cousin, but then Apollo padded over and licked her cheek. She smiled weakly and petted his head as the dog laid beside her. She kissed the top of his head and stroked his head. Delilah didn’t want to worry the dog too much. He was only a puppy. As Delilah pet the dog, Apollo licked her cheek again. She smiled a bit bigger and whispered, “I’ll be okay. Don’t worry.” Was she actually going to be okay? Well Delilah didn’t know. She hoped she would be, but she had bleed out quite a lot. Blood loss wasn’t a good thing, no not at all. But she was a werewolf, she could heal faster than others, but still. Her condition was good. It was quite bad actually. If she was a human she might have died already. Then again if she was a human she could have gone to a hospital and gotten helped. She could have had surgery and then recovered, but she wasn’t a human. She was a werewolf and she was glad she was. If she hadn’t been a werewolf she would have never met Owen. She was lucky to have become a werewolf and met him. Delilah knew that and felt grateful. She loved Owen and didn’t want to leave him, ever. Delilah decided that if she survived she was going to tell Owen. She was going to tell him everything. How she loved him and how she wanted them together. She didn’t know how he’d react, but all that mattered was that he knew.
After Owen hung up the phone he kneeled down next to him and put pillows under her feet. Then he got some water from the stove and then went back on his knees next to her. He looked at him and got some gauze saying, “Um…sorry.” She didn’t understand what he meant until he pulled her shirt up and instantly her face was bright red from embarrassment. Delilah was…blushing….she never had blushed before. And she meant never. Not even when she was a kid. If she liked a guy she went for it. She was never embarrassed. This was a…first. Then again Owen meant more to her than any other guy that had tried to do just that. He pulling up her shirt wasn’t sexually in any way. He only pulled it up far enough to see the wound not her bra. She took a deep breath and felt her face go back to normal coloring. “I-It’s fine.” She mumbled still a little embarrassed by his action. Owen placed gauze other the wound and soon his cousin arrived. She had blonde hair that was pulled up in a ponytail, which was strange because it looked nothing like Owen’s hair color which was midnight black. “Hi, Delilah. I’m going to give…well…quite a bit of sedative due to your metabolism, okay? It will help with the pain while Owen and I work on you.” His cousin said and she nodded. His cousin then gave her the pills and she swallowed then dry. Soon everything became blurry and she became sleepy. After that she didn’t remember anything.
When Delilah woke up she was in her bed and her clothes were different. It was a black cami and gray sweatpant like shorts with white stripes on the side. She tried getting up, but pain struck her like lightning and she fell back unto her back. She pulled the covers away to look at her stomach and saw gauze on it. Delilah guessed everything had gone well. That was a relief. She looked around and wondered how much time had placed and where Owen was. “Owen.” She called out hoping he’d come.

The wolf looked nervously towards Delilah, like she was a bomb only seconds from exploding. Course he wouldn't ever distance himself from her, but he didn't know what to expect with this. Sure, it could have been the two of them messing around - which he usually won due to just being stronger, but nevertheless, Blue eyes locked onto hers as he had placed the gauze over her wound lightly, noticing a slight color to her cheeks. He would have sworn it was a blush. Was it? Curiously watching her, Owen then hesitated before he then tilted his head and then arched an eyebrow towards his blonde cousin, and Alice grinned towards the werewolf on the floor, "I have a potion on my hair, I like being blonde." she winked a pair of green eyes towards the duo, before she then produced some weird-looking utensils and handing Owen some gloves. "I might need your help when she's out." Watching Delilah take the more sedative someone her size should due to her being a werewolf, he spoke, "It'll be okay, Deli." When she was out, Alice gave him a look as she checked the wound, cleaning it first, "Did you call...wait, this is Delilah? The Delilah?" Alice raised a brow at her younger cousin as she produced some tools to get the bullet out. "Good, it didn't get her stomach lining, thank god. Otherwise she'd be mad at us taking her to a hospital. It just nicely wedged itself in there, she had luck on her side."
Feeling a relieved sigh escaped his lips, Owen anxiously watched as Alice worked on the love of his life best friend he'd ever had. Apollo whined lightly as Alice finished up and the nurse spoke, "She'll be just fine, I'll give her some vicodin for the pain for when she wakes up, but since you two heal fast, I say no more than a few days and she'll be fully healed. Want the bullet?" She offered and Owen scowled at it before shaking his head silently, his arms coiling around Delilah and picked her up, heading to her bedroom. Pausing, Alice mused, "Want me to change her so she doesn't get sick?" Owen nodded nervously, much preferring not to change her if he could avoid it. Course, hey, he was only a male after all, it wasn't like he wouldn't mind doing it, but no way, first of all, too awkward and secondly, he respected Delilah way too much for that. Shaking that away slightly, he let Alice finish up as Owen then patted the bed, and Apollo jumped up there and curled up next to her. Thanking his cousin, she grinned and spoke, "You better tell her what you feel before she moves on, Owen." she nodded reassuringly, "I think both of you have luck on your side today."
He remained out in his living room, cleaning up everything, and changing into another pair of dry clothes. Eyeing his hair, he wasn't going to even bother with it. At least it was straight, just...almost dry. Raking fingers through it anxiously, he paced, before whipping up some ramen for her, making it to her liking. He enjoyed it, but it was definitely her favorite. Pausing slightly, Owen then perked when he thought he heard someone say his name. Delilah? Setting the things aside, he strode into her room, setting the bowl of ramen down by her bedside table and sat down on the side of her bed, noticing the bandages Alice had given them on top of her stitches, "Hi, Deli." he mused gently, offering a light smile as well. God he wanted to tell her. He wanted to tell her like a child wanted to know what they were getting for their birthday, or for Christmas. His fingers nervously toyed with each other before he looked down to the floor in her bedroom and he spoke, not looking at her for fear of what she might do or say, "I...I've wanted to tell you this...Deli." he sighed softly, blue eyes opening after the sigh and daring a glance in her direction, "I..."
Should he? He wanted to, so badly. Owen wanted her to know what he thought, how he felt like if he didn't get to see her everyday, he would go nuts. He felt like everyday was a new day with her, that she would always be able to make him happy, amuse him, and he wanted to keep her happy, healthy and safe. More than anything, putting herself before him. How could he tell her though? Dog gone it, he would try his best. Shifting slightly on her bed, he lifted his gaze to hers, "I...love you, Delilah." he glanced nervously at her, feeling like she would attack him at any moment, and he happened to be her prey, "I want to be able to see you everyday, to make sure you're happy, that you're safe." he straightened his back slightly, nerves getting to him, "I...do love you Delilah...I don't want to lose you...ever."

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are “Hi, Deli.” Owen said smiling gently at her. She smiled and turned on her side to look at his beautiful face. She smiled back at him and looked at her bandaged stomach. “I’m guessing it all went well. How long was I out?” She asked her eyes full of light even though her gunshot wound still hurt. She wanted to be okay she was going to be okay. She didn’t want Owen to worry anymore. He wanted him to be happy and smiling once more. That was the Owen she knew and loved so much. Patting the side of her bed she smiled invitingly. She was basically telling him to sit on her bed with her. Then she tilted her head to the side worried when she saw him look nervous. What was he nervous about? Had something gone wrong? Did she lose something? Could they not get the bullet out of her stomach? Oh my God! Was she going to die! No…Owen wouldn’t have smiled if she was going to die. He would have looked sad…right? “Owen….did something happen?” She asked worried. She grabbed her sheets tightly do to the nerves that were bubbling inside of her. Biting her lip hard she looked at him as he said, “I..I’ve wanted to tell you this…Deli. I…” He started. Why did he stop? What she he going to say! Delilah felt like she was going to die if she didn’t know what he wanted to say soon. Swallowing uneasily she looked at him with a quivering bottom lip. She tried to stay calm, but she wasn’t a patient person. She wanted to know what he had to say. She wanted to know really bad because it was about her. Why didn’t he just spit it out? Ugh! Why?!
Delilah heart skipped a beat when Owen said, “I…love you, Delilah.” Her warm brown eyes widened to the size of the moon. “W-what? Are you serious?” She said not believing him. Owen loved her? He actually loved her? He returned her feelings? “I want to be able to see you every day, to make sure you’re happy, that you’re safe.” He said. Wake up, Delilah. Wake up. She said to herself hoping that it wasn’t a dream. Oh God, if it was a dream she didn’t know what she’d do. It would have been such a cruel dream. One that taunted her. Delilah sat up even though it hurt very much in her gut and put a hand on her chest do to shock. She felt her heart, it was thumping loudly and quickly. She was so surprised and excited at the same time. “I…do love you Delilah…I don’t want to lose you…ever.” he said to Delilah. Slowly she moved over to Owen and put both hands on his shoulders. Leaning into his face she brushed her nose with his. “I’ve dream of you saying that to me since I met you. I love you too, Owen. So much. I could never tell you in words about how I feel about you. You are the most beautiful person I’ve ever met and I love all your flaws. I’m so glad I didn’t die because it would have killed me to have never told you how I felt about, love.” She said giving him a new nickname. He was now her love. Delilah smiled and leaned in all the way kissing his lips softly. God, she had only been able to dream about kissing Owen. His lips were so luscious and only a little chapped, as she had expected. Wrapping one arm around his neck she brought herself closer as she ran a hand through his straight midnight hair. Delilah deepened the kiss and put her legs on his lap. She was about to move unto his lap when she realized what she was doing. This was Owen. She had to go slow. She didn’t know what he had done before. She took her legs off his lap and just kept her arms around his neck. After finally pulling away she smiled ear to ear and fell on her back. “YES!” She exclaimed throwing her arms in the air. “You don’t know how long I’ve been waiting to do that, love.” She said rubbing his hand affectionately. She winked at him and giggled. What was he going to do next? Kiss her? She hoped so. That would be awesome!

Setting down the bowl of ramen, Owen heard her inquire about how long she'd been out. He shrugged, noticing the bottle of the pain medication for her on her bedside table, "Not too long, no more than two hours." His eyes glanced from her to Apollo, who was curled up neatly on the other side of Delilah, acting as if he owned the place. Shaking those thoughts away, his main concern was Delilah now. Especially the part after where he confessed his feelings for her. The passion, the desire to make her happy, the desire to be willing to do absolutely anything for her. If he had been there, he would have been more than happy to take the bullet for her, no matter where it hit him, he would do it to make sure Delilah would be okay. No matter what. Blue eyes widened slightly at her words. Serious? He'd never been more serious in his life! Well, in the past 22 years anyway, but still. Delilah, he knew, he'd place her over anything, absolutely anything. Especially himself. If she was sick, he'd stay home and make sure to take care of her, smother her with ramen if she wanted it, and watch any movie she wanted to. Yes, even a chick flick if he had to, as he'd been through plenty of them before with girls who had labeled him the "puppy dog friend" guy. Not Delilah though, he felt...strongly for her, and he only prayed, hoped and wished she had felt the same, even if she had confessed it before, he wasn't sure if it had been her talking, due to the alcohol in his system.
The brunette sat up and Owen placed a hand on her shoulder, about to urge her to relax and lie back down, but obviously that wasn't going to happen. But instead of his hands remaining on her shoulders, her own suddenly met his shoulders. Confusion appeared over his features for a moment, before hearing her speak. Wait...what? Eyes widened like plates, he had been...hoping for it, a part of him told him no, that she could never like or love someone like him. The other part had told him yes, it was clearly possible, they just...had their own niche with each other. When Delilah's lips touched his though, Owen's mind literally stopped. It felt like everything in his entire body reacted and happened in that same second. Nerves exploded and he felt a light burning in his chest, not uncomfortable, but pleasant. Sparks dancing across his skin it felt like. God he loved that. Eagerly returning the kiss, Owen felt her suddenly move a lot closer. He'd admit he'd done things before, and he didn't mind taking the....dominant role, but still...this was Delilah. She was precious to him, and he never wanted to hurt her, especially now that she had a bandage on her stomach, he much preferred not to do anything that could jeopardize her healing process.
The moment she pulled back, Owen felt...shocked. It felt wonderful to be able to finally kiss Delilah's beautiful lips. The very lips that sang so much now, especially after that record company had gotten a hold of her. Suddenly, she threw her arms up and a light chuckle escaped his lips as she spoke of wanting to do that. "Same." he commented lightly, his voice suddenly softer, before noticing the look she'd given him. As if reading her mind, Owen then shifted his body, and crawled up on the bed, happily half on top of Delilah, keeping his torso off hers as he didn't want to even think about touching her bandages in hurting her, muscles moved smoothly as he then planted his lips onto hers once more, now. Now he got to do that when ever he darn well pleased. When-ever and where-ever. Well, probably within reason, but when-ever he felt like nonetheless. The same feeling returned and Owen adored it, just like Delilah. Only after a few moments, Owen pulled back, glancing down to make sure he wasn't touching her stomach, and gave her a weak grin, "Don't let your ramen go cold." he spoke, his arms still on either side of her, supporting himself so he didn't hurt her at all. Tilting his head curiously, Owen's eyes locked onto Delilah's before the male then straightened up once more, and he spoke, "I don't want to...go one day without being able to kiss you."

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are Delilah was overjoyed when Owen finally returned her kiss. She was worried that he didn’t want to kiss her even though he confessed his feelings to her only moments before. Once he began to kiss her though she guessed it was just the shock. Had he liked her for awhile like she had liked him or maybe just realized it. Either way she didn’t care! She had him on her lips and they were on her bed. That was farther then she thought she’d ever get. Kissing him deeply she smiled and wanted to do some many things, but she knew she couldn’t. She was recovering and doing…that…wasn’t exactly recovering and relaxing. Well…to some people it was relaxing, but uh…that wasn’t the point. As their lips moved in sync she couldn’t help, but wondered why she hadn’t done this years ago. I mean now that she knew what she had been missing she never wanted to give it up. His lips with definitely her new drug. They felt amazing next to hers. It was like they always belonged together. They were each other’s missing pairs. Now they were reunited and she never wanted them to go missing again. As Delilah slowly pulled away she fell on her back and commented about how she had wanted to kiss him for so long. “Same.” He said and smiled biting her lip. Had he really wanted to do it for a long time? If he really did then great! Then they were on the same page. Fabulous! Maybe they had the same thoughts about a lot of things. Well Delilah doubted it. She had a dirty mind when it came to things…that had to do with Owen. She would never admit that though. She didn’t want Owen to think she was a pervert. Like she didn’t have dirty dreams about him she only hoped that one day they would…do things that were…saucy…you know if you get my drift. Anyway! Delilah was just very glad she could finally kiss Owen. She had only dreamed of it, but now it was reality. She would hate it if it was a dream. Someone would die if that happened. Just to make sure though she asked, “ Owen…am I dreaming? Please tell me that I’m not.” She smiled at him and hoped he would tell her that it was reality.
Then after she did her usual playfully wink he shifted on her bed and moved on top of her, but didn’t touch her torso to make sure she didn’t get hurt by his touch, but then again his touch was so addictive. Whenever he touched her it felt like electricity. Delilah loved it. It was addictive. Their lips met again and she smiled. Pushing her head up toward his she deepened the kiss. The kiss was short, but God, it was nice. Nice? NO! IT WAS AH-MAZING! Delilah loved kissing him and she loved just being near him and his warmth. Now she could always be near him and always kiss him. No one could tell her she couldn’t. She could kiss him in the middle of a fountain in the mall for all she cared. She hoped he didn’t mind. Well since he had crawled on top of her while his cousin was still in their apartment then she guessed that he wouldn’t care. When Owen pulled away she smiled and bit her lip. “Don’t let your ramen go cold.” He said smiling while he was still on top of her. She laughed and shook her head. Rubbing his cheek she said, “I think I’ve found something tastier than ramen though.” Smiling as much as she possibly could she watched him straighten up. She slowly got up hoping to receive little pain as she did so. Sadly there was some pain, but not too much. Thank the lord for being about to heal quickly. Soon she’d be out of the bandage and she’d be the old Delilah was before she got shot. Soon it’d be like it never happened.
Delilah reached for her ramen and took it lightly hoping it wouldn’t be too hot. Luckily their little kissing spree had made the ramen a perfect temperature. “I don’t want to…go one day without being able to kiss you.” He said and she smiled looking down at her ramen. That was the best thing that anyone had ever told her. Looking at him she set the ramen down and leaned into his ear. She then whispered, “I feel the same way and when I get out of this gauze we can do what you really want to do.” Giggling she kissed his ear lightly and took her ramen again. Grabbing her chop stick she began to eat the curvy noodles very happily. They were beef flavored. Her favorite. Owen always made the best ramen. As she ate she felt better by the second. Soon the noodles were finished and she drank the rest of the broth. Sighing content she grabbed the napkin Owen supplied for her and dabbed her mouth so it was clean again. She didn’t want to be a slob. She actually had manners. Her mother had made sure of that even if Delilah didn’t want to learn. She was kind of a tomboy, mostly as a child, and didn’t feel like learning manner. God, she was glad she knew them now. Smiling at Owen she then burped. She covered her mouth quickly and she started laughing. “Oh God, I’m sorry. Wow…that must be really attractive.” She said making fun of herself. She smiled at Owen and hoped he didn’t mind her doing that. Leaning on his shoulder she smiled and wrapped her arms around his waist. “Perfect.” She whispered referring to their situation.

Blue eyes watched as the female werewolf pulled away from their kiss and had lied back on the bed, before she then asked if it was a dream. He certainly hoped not. If it was a dream, he'd make sure that when e woke up, he would hunt down Delilah and make this dream a reality. Only then would he be perfectly content. Course he wouldn't do anything ridiculous like make her hate him in reality or in a dream, but nonetheless, he still wanted to be able to think about just being able to be with Delilah no matter what, dream or reality, as long as the dream lasted forever. Pausing slightly, the werewolf shrugged and answered, "I don't think so. But if it is I don't want to wake up." he commented lightly, before adding, "Or if it is, I will find you in reality." His lips twitched in a slight smile as he then heard her comment with her ramen and finding something else. A knowing look fell into his eyes, though he didn't say anything besides giving her a boyish smile in return. Oh, he knew what she meant. Well, his testosterone did anyway. Hey, he always said, just because he didn't act like the rest of the men in the world, didn't mean he certainly didn't have any. Probably if not more due to being a werewolf. Nevertheless it wasn't on his list of worries, he was more worried about Delilah and how she was doing especially. Owen shifted gently, letting her eat her food, reaching over her legs and stroking Apollo's shoulder gently, who in turned whistled, his little doggie trick he did, making his nose whistle somehow, slightly of course, to show he liked being petted or his muscles rubbed.
His hand returned to his side as Delilah shifted up, and whispered in his ear, sending pleasant chills down his spine as she did so. What they really wanted? It wouldn't take a genius - ha - to figure that one out. The male glanced swiftly towards her and gave her a silent, light look that could have been passed off as a trick of the light. Of course he knew what she was talking about, he'd have to be deaf, dumb and blind to not know for goodness sake. Though surprisingly, he didn't seem...antsy thinking about it. Sure, he'd had sex before, but it hadn't been with anyone he felt this strong of a connection with. He definitely knew he would want to be with Delilah forever, and he'd be more than happy to something, anything or nothing with her. An amused laugh shortly escaped his lips when she suddenly burped. Looking towards her, with mild amusement and surprise, he chuckled lightly and mused, "Of course." he grinned lightly, silently telling her he honestly didn't care. At least she hadn't been like his room-mate, god forbid, who had only been in his room with him his freshman year for a few weeks before he dropped out. The guy had been a slob, and always watched Owen while he worked on his physics. Creepy.
Feeling the brunette place her head on his shoulder, Owen felt her arms, sending pleasant jolts of electricity through his body as he then listened to her say perfect. He mused lightly, "It only is because you are." His eyes swiftly glanced up as a pair of feet came down the hall, and Alice appeared, looking more professional than anything, mainly wanting to obviously check on Delilah. She grinned lightly to her cousin and her now cousin's girlfriend she had heard tidbits of, unable to resist, "I'm happy for you two." She smiled softly towards Delilah before then pointing, "Vicodin, once a day till it either runs out, or well...for you, till you don't need it anymore. There's some more gauze out in the kitchen for you as well." She spoke, patting Owen's shoulder gently, "I'm off for now, Owen and Delilah, call me if you start to feel slightly worse, Delilah, there are some pills to help prevent infection just in case."
Owen nodded in thanks, "Thank you...so much, Alice." his arm coiled around Delilah, as if clinging to her. The blonde grinned, and winked, "No problem." before she added, "Fixed your door too, it would have worked fine, but one hinge was coming loose." Owen bit his tongue, but didn't say anything else as he shifted his gaze back to Delilah and kissed the side of her head, the scent of her shampoo still evident as he then mused, "How are you feeling?" He arched an eyebrow in her direction as Apollo got up, sniffed around before jumping off her bed and padding off out of her room and off to probably play with a bone. Pausing, Owen eyed Delilah gently, "Want to watch a movie? You can pick." He grinned lightly, before then offering, "Or we can do absolutely whatever you want." he added, honestly not caring as long as he got to be right there with Delilah.

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
“I don’t think so. But if it is I don’t want to wake up. Or if it is, I will find you in reality.” Owen said smiling at her. Twirling a loch of her hair she glanced at him with warm brown eyes. Putting her hand delicately on his hand she intertwined her fingers with his own. Blinking at him with a smile she used her free hand she moved his midnight black hair from his mesmerizing blue eyes. She kissed his smooth, soft cheek and then pulled back. “ Promise? Do you promise to build up the courage to do what you just did if this is a dream because I’ll go crazy if I can’t kiss your lips again? I’ve had so many dreams when I almost kissed you, but then I’d wake up right before it. I can’t imagine not kissing you. It’s very…natural. So…promise?” She said sticking her pinkie out for Owen so they could pinky promise. It was the only way to make it official. You couldn’t go against a pinky promise . That kind of stuff you just didn’t go against. It was very important. It was like making an unbreakable vow in Harry Potter. You’d die if you broke it. Okay, Delilah didn’t read the books. She watched the movies. Beth had read the books though and she had filled Delilah in on everything. She was thankful for that. Oh God, the thought of Beth hurt. Why did she have to think of her? She wasn’t the little bookworm anymore. She was the ruthless hunter that was stuck in her ways. Delilah missed her sister. She missed her so much that she felt like crying. It was so hard to let go of Beth, but Delilah knew it was time. She had to give her up. Beth was gone. She was just a hollow shell of the girl that was Delilah. Goodbyes weren’t Delilah specialty so this was going to be hard, but she’d make it somehow. Well with Owen by her side she could do anything. She felt immortal. She felt like she could be anything. He was her rock, her life, her love. He would help her and distract her and make her happy, but in no way was he just a distraction. No, he was very important to her. He wasn’t a distraction. He was too good for that and Delilah loved him too much, but he would take her mind off things. She would need that though. He would help her when she wanted to go talk to Beth, he would tell her no. He’d be strong for her when she realized that Beth was gone, not literally, but mentally. Owen would always be there. She was certain of it. They were forever. They would never fade. He was her soul mate. No doubt in her mind of that. She could feel it deep in her gut. They were meant for each other. Two halves that fit together perfectly. How could they not? Just from the feeling she got when they lips met she knew. She just knew. It was just a feeling she got in the pit of her stomach and it wasn’t just because of the wound. She wondered if Owen was thinking the same thing. She hoped he was. It’d kill her if he didn’t think they were forever. She wanted so much for them to be forever. Maybe this was looking ahead too far, but Delilah could see their future. She could see the two building a future together and living in a house and being together. Okay maybe that was looking at little too far ahead, but she couldn’t help it. She was just a person that saw the future. Not literally of course. But she couldn’t definitely see her and Owen together for awhile.
“Of course.” Owen said smiling at her. She laughed and ruffled his hair. “ You’re pretty awesome, Owen. Just thought you should know that. [/i][/s] She said smiling brightly at him. Delilah hoped that now just because they were well dating that she couldn’t do her regular antics around her. She didn’t know how she would do that. She always did her antics. It was just Delilah. That was how she was. It was just…Delilah. How could ever not be Delilah? That was like Owen not being awkward, nerdy, adorkable. It was Owen! If Owen couldn’t do Owen then something seriously was wrong with the world. I mean what kind of world would it be if an Owen wasn’t being an Owen? A screwed up one for sure. “It only is because you are.” he said in response to Delilah whispering perfect. Delilah smiled shyly and looked up at him happy beyond belief. “ You’re really good at this boyfriend thing. I like that. I made the right choice when I decided to love you.” She said winking at him in a playful manner. Yeah, Delilah was still Delilah. Then Alice walked in and she started talking giving Delilah instructions and she nodded every once in awhile so Alice knew she was listening. “Thank you…so much, Alice.” Owen said wrapping his arm around her and she laid her head on his shoulder and nodded in agreement. “ Thank you for saving me. It means a lot.” Delilah said sincerely thankful. Then Alice spoke again and Delilah smiled and shook her head. She liked Alice. She was pretty awesome. Kind of like herself too. Nice. Another friend. Then she felt Owen’s lips on the side of her head and she smiled. “How are you feeling?” He asked as Apollo jumped off the bed. She smiled and stroked his cheek. “ Never better, love.’ She said kissing his nose. “Want to watch a movie? You can pick. Or w can do absolutely whatever you want.” He asked grinning at her. “ A movie sounds awesome. Let’s go!” She said climbing unto his back. Wrapping her legs around his waist she snaked her arms around his neck. Setting her chin on his shoulder she breathed in his scent and whispered, “ You smell really good.” She lightly kissed the bend in his neck and then placed her head there again. As they traveled to the living room he gently set her down and then turned and inquired what movie she wanted to watch. “ I don’t care.” She said happily. Then Owen grabbed ‘Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 1” and her eyes widened. “ AWESOME!” She exclaimed and he put the movie in. He then settled in next to her and lied down. Delilah then put her head on his chest and laid the rest of the body on him. Glancing up at him she asked, “ Have you figured out yet who the song that I sang was about?” [/div] TAGS- Owen<3, OUTFIT- clikah!, WORD COUNT- 1040+, NOTES- CUTER! Owen makes me laugh [/center]

The wolf watched curiously as Delilah twirled a lock of her hair around her finger, noticing that habit she had picked up only in the last few months. Where-ever she had gotten it from, much like Apollo with him tilting his head, but Owen had figured he'd probably seen him do that, tilt his head curiously. Blue eyes narrowed slightly, though his ears tuned in as Delilah spoke. Promise? Um, he would admit he was good with secrets, but he wasn't so sure about promises. He's ever rarely had to promise. But with her, he would do anything, and he'd make sure he did it too. The wolf paused, though nodded silently, blue eyes locking into her darker ones quietly and he spoke, "Of course, I wouldn't hardly sleep, I'd always look till I found you." he promised. Oh, didn't sound like it could be that hard, he wasn't sure why not. Owen couldn't help but grin when he noticed her lift her finger in a pinky promise. Goodness, when was the last time he'd done that? It had certainly been at least a decade, back before he'd moved to Manuka for their physics program here. Probably one of his childhood friends, he'd been raised to know those were sacred - when younger, but it felt - right to do it, like there was still that magic with the pinky promise he shouldn't break. Doing the pinky promise anyway, his finger coiled around hers, Owen grinned lightly, then listened as Deli spoke, and he smiled shyly, before then feeling her ruffle his hair. Ah, he didn't care. He'd mess with it tomorrow, today he didn't care. He had almost lost Delilah, and in that hour or so, everything else seemed redundant. His only thoughts had been Delilah, Delilah, Delilah. Nothing else had really crossed his mind till Alice had told him that she would be fine, just take a few days to fully recover.
He'd destroyed the bullet though, mainly because he knew if he saw it again, say a few weeks later than today, he'd want to get her sister's scent off of it and go after her sister himself. So, he was planning ahead. He knew he'd make sure Beth paid - even slightly for doing this to Delilah, her own flesh and blood, her own sister. Scolding Delilah's sister, before stopping himself, Owen then lifted his eyes at Delilah about being a good boyfriend. Unable to hide a shy grin at the compliment, he mused, "T-thanks..." His fingers coiled tightly around hers, as if holding her in place. He didn't want to think about ever losing her. It pained him to think he wouldn't be able to hold her again if he lost her. No way, he'd fight till the very end for Delilah. Forever and till the end. Blue eyes lightened upon seeing Alice, and listened to the exchange between the two, giving the blonde a look as she winked towards the two of them before she had left. Wonderful. Knowing Alice she would most likely tell Aidan about this, but he wasn't so sure if she'd tell his parents. Most likely she would do what he figured she would do, tell Aidan to make sure he told them, then Aidan would tell Dylan too, and even get his own twin on him to make sure he told his parents. It wasn't like he wasn't going to! Of course he would.
Carrying Delilah out to where they would watch the movie, upon them getting settled, Owen mused, lazily toying with a bit of her hair, "You know...I like your shampoo...it's always so sweet." he grinned lightly. Course werewolves would be able to smell things like that, their senses matched those of a normal dog probably, though there haven't ever really been full tests on them. Pausing slightly, Owen grinned, "I'll be sure to cover your eyes when a scary part comes along." he teased, blue eyes looking to Delilah, concerned about her wound, "You comfortable?" he inquired, drawing her close as he wrapped his arms around her gently, holding her to him, resting his cheek on her head for a moment, not wanting to ever be too far from her if possible. Then he heard a question he hadn't been expecting. That song? The one from the mic night? Biting his bottom lip slightly, Owen grinned weakly, "Umm...I...I think I know who it was...is about." Blue eyes gleamed innocently, "I...I thought it was about me, but...I guess..yeah, now I know..or I think I know." he frowned slightly at his own doubt, though looked to Delilah keenly, not caring if he was missing parts of the movie or not.

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
“Of course, I would hardly sleep; I’d always look till I found you.” He promised her looking directly into her dark eyes. A want to smile tugged on the corner of her rosy lips and she stroked his hair affectionately letting her head then travel down his neck then his chest. Blinking at him she slowly leaned in and gave him a small kiss. When she pulled away she stayed close to his strawberry lips. Whispering into his lips she said, “ Every day. Every night. I’ll never stop looking for you because you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me.” Closing her eyelids she rest her forehead against his own and wrapped her arms around his neck. Delilah let go of him reluctantly when Owen stuck up his pinky and Delilah did the same. Sure, pinky promises were juvenile, but they were definitely legit. You couldn’t break one. It was too powerful. Wrapping her smaller pinky around his larger one she shook the twisted fingers and it was done. They had both pledged to find each other where ever they were if this all somehow happened to be a dream. Oh how cruel that would be. Taunting her with love and hope. If she woke up she wondered where she would be. Who she would be and more importantly, where would she be? Would Hayden still be dead and would Beth still be…well crazy? Probably. That had been so long ago that there was no way she had dreamt all of that up. If she did actually wake up she’d probably be in her own apartment alone. She’d search for Owen then. She guessed he would be in this apartment so it wouldn’t be hard to find him. Even if it was hard she’d look at she needed to find him. She wouldn’t let him go. No, not after she had just gotten him.
“T-thanks…” He said with that shy grin of his. God, he was so cute. She laughed and hugged him tightly. “You’re so adorable, Owen. It’s so hard not to hug you sometimes. I just want to squeeze you until you can’t breathe.” She told him smiling so big that it hurt her cheeks. Delilah then let go of the awkward werewolf boy and looked at him happily. “I have a question for you, Owen.” She inform him smiling with her rosy, round lips. Blinking her dark lashes at him and climbed up on his back and the two got ready to watch Harry Potter, one of her favorite movies. “You know…I like your shampoo…it’s always so sweet.” He told her with a gentle smile on his lips while he played with her hair. She bit her lip into a happy smile. He really liked her shampoo? Really? She never thought he noticed. She would have to definitely stock up on that shampoo. “ Really? You like it? Well I guess I have to stock up on it if you like it so much. I never knew.” She said playing with his hands idly. She moved his fingers back and forth just because well she could. Delilah did a lot of stuff just because she could. It was just something that she did. If she could do it she would do it. Only lived once so you might as well do whatever you could. That was what Delilah always thought. What was the use of being afraid to do something if you could only live once? Well unless you were immortal like Hayden, but Delilah wasn’t immortal so she only had one life, which was okay with her because Owen only had one life so she’d never have to be without him. She would always have him. Forever and always. “I’ll be sure to cover your eyes when a scary part comes along.” Owen teased and she stuck her tongue out. She giggled and said, “Thanks, love. I’ll be sure to take you up on that deal.” Delilah felt Owen move his arms around her small frame and inquire, “You comfortable.” Delilah smiled up at him as she was still on him. “Extremely comfortable, wolfie. You’re very comfortable you know…and warm.” She said nuzzling her head into his hard chest. She had never noticed how toned his body was. Probably because she didn’t want to look like a freak and stare at him like an idiot. Now she definitely didn’t want to do that.
“Umm…I…I. think I know who it was…is about. I…I thought it was about me, but…I guess…yeah, now I know..or I think I know.” He said and she smiled. God, he was so cute. “Calm down, Owen. It’s about you. It’s always been about you.” She said stroking his face. “They’re all about you Owen except a few, but those aren’t about love so yeah. I’ll sing them for you in you want.” She offered playing with his hands again. She looked up at him waiting for him to say something. She wondered if he’d like them. She worked pretty hard of them so she hope he did. If he didn’t well then she didn’t know what she’d do.

The werewolf grunted slightly in mild surprise when Delilah hugged him tightly after he thanked her. What the? Blue eyes widened slightly as he opened his mouth to ask why exactly, before she released him slightly, explaining the reason for her sudden change. Oh, Owen grinned sheepishly, shyly once more and he let her finish. "Um, I do like breathing....though." he commented, chuckling softly before falling silent. A question? He panicked for a brief moment, but he smothered that initial feeling. Moron, he scolded himself. Don't freak out over every little thing Delilah did, or at least the things she did that could end up hurting herself, that was the last thing Owen wanted to happen, was for her to get hurt, physically, emotionally or mentally. He'd place himself before her and take the bullet or whatever it happened to, putting her well-being before his. He wouldn't tell her this of course, mainly because he didn't want her to argue with him and then tell him he'd put his well-being before her own. No way. "What is it, Deli?" he inquired gently, urging her to ask, wanting to know what might be bothering the beautiful brunette who happened to be in his arms. Sighing contentedly, Owen grinned lightly at her mentioning stocking up on that shampoo. Pausing, he mused, "You can get another type if you want, I just enjoy it." he grinned innocently, "I mean...our noses are stronger anyway." Owen shrugged gently, a finger lazily toying with some of her hair, before he then felt her shift, and soon her hands were playing with his fingers, something he had noticed she would do. She just always seemed to be moving, which was probably another reason they were good together - he liked to move a lot, or not move at all, depending on the situation.
He tuned in to her words about being comfortable, as she nuzzled her head into his chest, his muscles twitched as he shifted slightly, moving so that he could see her easier, without having to move too much and cause a disturbance between the two of them. The wolf arched an eyebrow and grinned lightly, "I'm glad you are." he sighed softly once more, catching another whiff of that shampoo that she had always used and that he had always enjoyed being able to smell. It was quite strong when she'd gotten out of the shower all the time, as his nose, as well as hers was quite sensitive, another reason why when-ever he cooked something, most of the time it would alert Delilah and wake her up if he happened to wake up before her. Like the ramen, she could probably tell what type of ramen it was being in her room with the door closed and him out in the kitchen just beginning it. Being a werewolf has its perks in some ways. Blue eyes lifted as she toyed with his hands, before calming him. Chuckling nervously, Owen then listened and he felt his heart thud against his chest.
He swore Delilah would be able to hear that drum rattling in his chest. Pausing in one of his fingers coiling around Delilah's hand, as if to start to entrap her fingers, Owen heard her mention about the songs, and he smiled weakly. Adorable. He loved that look on her, the softer side of Delilah in a sense, the side he felt like she saved only for him and just him alone. Owen lifted one of her hands to his lips, brushing his lips over the back of her hand gently, before he mused, "I would love to hear them once you heal." he commented, glancing down to her bandaged area, and smiled lightly, "I want you to heal up before you do anything." Was he being a worry-wart? Sure, but he had always been one, plus this was Delilah here. He wasn't willing to subject her to anything if he could help it. Cupping her cheek gently, Owen's lips eagerly met hers, molding perfectly together and only after a few moments did he pull back and muse, "Deli, I wanted to....ask you..." he paused, looking away for a few moments towards the movie and Apollo, who was looking their way curiously for a moment before he lied his head back down, "Would you...when this new apartment opens up...would you....like to move in with me?" he smiled sheepishly, leaving it up to her with what happened, but the apartment was bigger, nicer and closer to where they would work and such. But of course if she didn't want to go, he was fine anywhere as long as Deli would be there.
words, enough. coming soon, <33 no worries. skip a bit to where they move if you want XDD |

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
“What is it, Deli?” Owen asked her as she was still in his strong arms. She blinked up at him and bit her lip. She didn’t want to ruin their good time by asking what she had to ask, but she had to know. It would kill her if she didn’t know. “Uh…Owen…do you like Viv? I mean do you two have anything going on because I want to know since I guess we’re kind of dating now. I mean I’m not going to be with any guys and I just don’t want you in a relationship with another girl. I’m not saying that you can’t be friends with girls, but I don’t want an open relationship or for you to cheat on me. Please be honest with me.” Delilah asked hoping that Owen didn’t think that she was getting jealous. No, it was nothing like that. She just didn’t want to lose him. She knew that the two had something at one point and she wanted to assure that she was the only girl that he was romantically involved with. Delilah didn’t know if she would be able to stand having to see Owen with another girl. That would just be way too painful for her heart. No, she couldn’t do it. She just couldn’t do it. She loved him too much to share him with anyone even if it was Viv. Sure the two girls were friends, but she wouldn’t be okay if she was dating Owen too. No, he was hers now. No one else’s. Just hers. She hoped she was the same for Owen because she was just his. No one else’s. She would be just his for forever if she could because well she loved him.
“You can get another type if you want, I just enjoy it. I mean…our noses are stronger anyway.” Owen said with an innocent grin. She smiled and shook her head no. “No, I won’t find something else. If you enjoy it then I’ll use it. Anyway it’s not like I hate the shampoo. If it makes you happy then I’m happy.” Delilah said smiling. She leaned up and kissed his smooth cheek and then went back to her position on his body. He really was quite comfortable. He wasn’t too buff that he was all hard and lumpy, but he wasn’t a complete flab nugget. He was the perfect combination of both, but leaning more to the toned side. Still he was very comfy to Delilah not to mention that he smelled pretty darn good. Like Owen had said they had stronger noses then normal human. That was how Delilah woke up a lot by smells. Whenever she smelled Owen cooking breakfast she’d wake up so she could eat. It was cool by a werewolf. She loved it. Also it let her smell if someone that she didn’t like so around so she could leave quickly. Just made being a werewolf even better.
“I’m glad you are.” Owen said and she smiled. “I’m glad you’re glad.” Delilah teased playing with her hands some more. Then she trapped her fingers with one fingers. She put on a fake surprised face and looked at her. “ You’ve trapped me. You have won this time, wolfie.” She teased smiling goofily at her. Then Delilah turned her attention to the movie finally and realized she had missed a lot. She really should have been paying attention. Harry, Hermione, and Ron were already at the wedding for Bill and Fleur. She always loved this part. Bill and Fleur were a kind of unlikely couple, but loved each other so much. Bill came from a poor family and was part werewolf. Fleur was a French beauty from a rich family. They had met at work and fell in love. Sometimes she felt like her and Owen was like that. She was a crazy partier and he was the genius with the brightest future. She couldn’t believe they were actually a couple, but they were lucky enough to have each other. They brought out the best in each other. At least Delilah thought so.
“I would love to hear them once you heal. I want you to heal up before you do anything” He said and she was glad to have someone looking after her. She nodded and said, “Okay, it’s agreed. I shall heal up and then things can go back to normal.” It was a good idea for Delilah to heal up. She didn’t want to jeopardize her healing in any way. She really wanted to be okay soon so everything could be okay again and she could do her Delilah antics. Then out of nowhere Owen cupped her cheek and kissed her. Her eyes fluttered closed and kissed him back. Soon he pulled away and she exhaled happily. She giggled and bit her lip. God that felt so good. She was glad she could do that now. “Deli, I wanted to…ask you…would you…when this new apartment opens up…would you…like to move in with me?” he asked and she smiled big. She nodded and said, “ Owen, one day you’ll realize that I’ll go anywhere with you. You just have to ask and honestly if you wouldn’t have asked me I would have gone anywhere. I just would have snuck into a bag or something.” Laughing she turned back to the movie while she held Owen’s hand lightly with a smile. Perfect was the only word to describe the situation. Absolutely perfect.

Delilah looked around at the new apartment and smiled. It was bigger and nicer than the other one. She liked it. It was need some getting used to, but it was great. Looking at the cardboard box that was labeled ‘Delilah’s stuff’. Grabbing it she carried it to her room and looked at the deep purple color that covered the walls. She liked it. It was nice. Setting the box on her black comforters she opened it up and saw that it was few things that would be easy to unpack. Taking the first thing which was a picture of Owen and her she set it on her dresser. The next few things were her clock, a picture of her siblings, a picture of Apollo, some sheet music, and a poster of her favorite band. Once the whole box was unpacked she called out, “Owen! The last box has been unpacked! We are officially unpacked!” She smiled and twirled around. Everything was perfect. She had Owen, she had healed with only a small scar on her stomach, and she moved to a wonderful apartment with Owen. Also she had recorded her first single. Life was good.

What? Wait...what did she say? In an instant, he had regretted in a sense asking what the question had been. Now though, it was too late, and Deli had already asked. It wasn't like Owen would lie to her - he'd never lie to her, but the fact that he had to deal with all of this, including the fact that he should have known this was going to happen sooner or later. Probably better sooner rather than later, even if he happened to be quite a chicken about it. He remained silent, putting his words together. To be honest, he liked Vivi, but...he wasn't sure. Not like he was with Delilah, he knew he liked her, loved her pretty much, Deli was his best friend, the one he could always count on. But Vivi...she also had a family of hunters that would kill him most likely the instant that they knew what exactly he was, and had been born into the curse some called it. Looking down for a brief moment, Owen then shook his head slightly, blue eyes darkening slightly, "I...I won't lie to you, Deli." he stated first off, "I...I like Vivi but...not in the same way I like...love you. You know?" he figured she would, but just in case, "It's...different...and no, I won't be with any other girl besides you." he promised her without having to say much. It was true. He had only had two other girlfriends in his life, but the last one didn't work out due to her moving away for college, which Owen understood, as shortly after that, he met Delilah and she moved in with him. Since then, his life hadn't been the same, especially not since Delilah had entered it, and he was particularly happy about it as well.
"I will never cheat on your, Deli." he spoke gently, giving her a reassuring nod as he did so, moving his torso slightly so he could lock his eyes with hers. How could someone do that to someone else they cared about? Owen would rather get shot than hurt Delilah in any way shape or form. The duo fell silent and settled in looking at the movie, following it. The books in his opinion - not being biased, of course - were better. Then again, Owen had always preferred books to movies, but he would say that he did believe the casting people did an excellent job casting Harry, Ron and Hermoine, as well as the rest of the cast. Blue eyes gleamed lightly upon seeing Reamus, the werewolf in that movie as well. Technically though, they weren't like him, he was still bi-pedal when he shifted most of the time if he wanted to be, they just shifted directly into a pure-looking wolf, nothing like a human. Sorry J.K. Rowling, though close enough, Owen thought quietly to himself, before shifting his eyes to Delilah for a moment, "Scary part." he teased, covering her eyes when Bill and Fleur got married. Hearing her speak about going anywhere with him, Owen hugged her slightly tighter, though not enough to where he would touch or hurt her stitches and her wound, "Good, so I guess that means I don't really need to ask you if you want to go on that cruise with me? Just....wake you up the day we fly out?" he grinned sheepishly, "Aidan can take Apollo for us."

Scanning over his room, the new room, he crossed his arms and nodded, as Apollo padded in, the dog getting used to the hardwood floors with some carpet now. Patting the dog, the wolf straightened his frame and checked his bathroom, before dumping the rest of the boxes he'd unpacked with Delilah throughout the past few days out to where they had been told to dump them. Blue eyes brightened, they had their own pair of keys each, as well as this place had two, nice elevators to get to their floor, they were on the fourth floor, which Owen didn't mind, and the rent wasn't too much higher. His eyes landed on Apollo who was curled up on one of his two beds, well, two actual dog beds, then he would use either Owen's or Delilah's bed for sleeping if he felt like it as well. Pausing, Owen grinned as he placed the little gift for Delilah on the end of the counter, where it fit nicely there. Setting up the glass item, the wolf then turned as he heard Delilah announce they were unofficially packed. Heading to her room, maybe using a bit of his werewolf speed, Owen's arms eagerly hugged Delilah, drawing her close into a quick kiss, "Wonderful, oh, and I have something to show you."
Owen grinned with a lop-sided grin as he then covered Delilah's eyes with his hands, guiding her out to the kitchen and living/dining room area, "Hold on..." he commented, positioning Delilah in front of the glass aquarium. Dropping his hands, Owen spoke, "Ta da!" he smiled innocently, "It's..an aquarium...well, that or a terrarium, if you would prefer like...a turtle or something." Owen grinned weakly, "Think of it like...a little house-warming gift for you. Do...do you like it?" The wolf hoped she liked it. She had talked about a fish before, and naming it, so when they had started to move, he got this for her, it was big enough for a turtle, and big enough as well for a few fish if she wanted as well. He eagerly awaited her reaction, hoping she liked it.
