STYLE Seeing as though he’s an Astor and he comes from money, he wouldn’t be caught dead in anything less casual than a button down and a nice pair of pants. Even his casual clothes are clearly expensive. It’s evident that his clothing says a lot about him and for starters that’s “rich” and “important”. His go-to attire would be a suit, but he’d settle for a button down shirt if he felt the occasion was not too classy. As for jewelry, he’s not into men wearing jewelry but he’ll sport the occasional watch and purely for aesthetics (not time). Makeup, not a chance in hell. Something worth noting, he likes expensive attire, but nothing eccentric. He's not into a rich crazy style, but more of a rich simplistic style. Sticks with black, white, blue and other basic colors. Malcolm is a stoic man or maintains an intimidating demeanor. Not even a hint of weakness can be detected from this man. He is a tall, brute figure who looks down upon the people he talks to. His booming and usually loud voice adds to his terror. It was because of his cold and aloof personality that he was able to take over. Even his own children are unsettled by him. Not much affection towards anyone is shown unless one of his children surprise him and make him proud, but even then he prefers not to display his emotions deeming them as a weakness. It is hard to read the man, but it is often assumed that he is angry because of his perpetual look of dissatisfaction and his constant yelling.

Malcolm Ray Astor. Head honcho. God father. He is the sole reason that the Astor family is associated with power and money. From the beginning of time, Malcolm had plotted to find a way into fortune and importance. What the other supernatural families had failed to notice was that war was always the answer. While the other families were intent on making peace with the humans and coexisting, Malcolm was taking advantage of their clans and using them to get to the top of the food chain. He’s relentless and he’s evil and he maintained that way in order to get to the position he was in. The Astors are notorious for being dark and above all species and Malcolm is held responsible for all of that.

Since it was almost impossible to regard any human or supernatural as superior to the Astor faeries, he had created several enemies amongst the people of Manuka. After he had risen to power, he settled down with Lee Astor, his wife. She was more of a gentle soul and kind hearted, but her purpose to the Astor family was to breed wonderful, powerful children. Lee had given birth to four children, two of them twins. It was Malcolm’s obligation to raise them as strong willed and evil, so they could one day uphold the Astor title and throne. Unfortunately, Malcolm was not pleased with how some of them turned out and decided that Jayne would be the only one suitable enough to take over.

But even he didn’t satisfy Malcolm’s expectations. He had promised the boy false hope in becoming next in line, but it was merely just to motivate the boy to be more like himself. If Jayne was the only child that was appropriate enough to rule, let alone sane enough, then Malcolm felt that an intense amount of pressure and guidance would help the boy. Just incase Malcolm had dropped dead one day, but he didn’t plan on it considering he was more powerful than most of his opponents.

Sadly, the unthinkable occurred and Malcolm was murdered. He was stripped of his life, but more importantly, his title. Due to his sudden death and wanting to find the reason why he was murdered and who the perpetrator was, he was able to turn to a ghost. There was a purpose for him to still be connected to earth. The need to find out his cause of death was one, but also to make sure that the Astor family was living up to his expectations and not wreaking havoc in all the wrong ways.
