OVERALL
Anyone's first impression of Sapphira would be that she's warm and charming. She has a way with words that would make people feel as if they're old friends and that they could trust her, as if charming them. Given her beauty and her warm words, she could make almost anyone believe she's a kind person, but truly, she's neither kind nor warm. Sapphira is vain, manipulative, and sly. Even she admits to herself that she has a cold heart, however she wasn't always the devil she was today. Before her parents were killed she was an optimistic, joyous girl, but her parent's bloodshed changed her.
Her worst trait, however, would be her impatient and ill-tempered nature. She is easily angered by small things which causes her to do reckless acts. Even though she is good at hiding her anger for a while, once she bursts, she loses control of herself and will pose harm for herself and others. Once she explodes, everything is her enemy and this is when she's most vulnerable. This bad trait may be her greatest weakness.

OVERALL
On the autumnal equinox of 1975, another witch with the ancient blood of the King clan is born taking the name of Sapphira Diana, named after her mother's family heirloom, an ancient sapphire ring.. The King blood traces its roots all the way back from Europe, which is said to be the birthplace off witchcraft. On the other hand, the Rosehart blood originated from New England, in fact, it was one of the families that escaped the persecutions of witch hunters during the Salem Witch Trials. These two bloodlines would result to one talented witch, unfortunately she would also be quite a destructive one. However, she wasn't always the wicked witch of the west, she was actually quite the opposite, but one tragic event led to another, and she transformed completely.
For the first half of Sapphira's life, she was quite the sweet daughter all parent's wanted to have. She was polite, helpful, and selfless. That was, after all, how she was raised. They lived in a small town in North Carolina. She lived a pretty normal life, at least as normal as a witch her age lived. She had purple eyes and was taught witchcraft since she could speak, she didn't go to school, and she only left the house to shop, and even then she didn't have a lot of interactions with humans to avoid suspicions. She wasn't socially deprived, however. Her mother would take her to visit other witch family friends and Sapphira got the chance to interact with witches and warlocks her age. She lived that lifestyle for eighteen years until one night, it all changed.
There was a new family that moved in. A widower and two boys a little older than Sapphira. They seemed pretty average at first, but it was beginning to become undeniable that they had some sort of interest with the King family. One night, the mysterious family stepped out of the shadows. They were hunters, witch hunters to be specific and Sapphira's mother had been getting dreams of danger coming, but she made a mistake by ignoring it. On a regular school night, at exactly midnight, the supposedly widower and his two sons attacked the King household. Of course, Marie and Arthur weren't just going to give in. They cast one last spell to protect their dearest Sapphira. They caused enough distraction so Sapphira would be able to escape without the hunters trailing her. The next day, the King resident looked like it was struck by a tornado and the dead bodies of the hunters and Sapphira's parents were dug up from the scraps.
That was the turning point in Sapphira's life that would cause her to be the witch she was today. First, the locals found herbs and other materials that proved the Kings were practicing witchcraft. Marie and Arthur weren't given a proper burial and were even cursed by the entire town because of their practices. The town treated the dead hunters differently, however. They held up a special funeral taking pity of how they were "victims of witchcraft". Sapphira was forced to leave the town entirely because she was soon sought after by the townspeople. Nothing had changed since the Witch Trials, people still feared anything that was different. This brought anger inside Sapphira, and soon her anger developed when no one had the heart to take her in because they thought she was a crazy girl. She got tired f the pity in everyone's eyes, she was tired of people treating her like she was a stray cat.
Sapphira was considered her 19th birthday as her rebirth. That was when the wicked witch was born. She found herself in another small town in Maine. She used her beauty and charm to rise above in society. An old, wealthy, connected businessman fell for her. The businessman gave her a share of his money and properties. When the old man died of age, all the man's wealth was transferred to Sapphira. Once she was stable and well put, she moved to California and started her own life there. She managed all of the man's businesses and wealth. When she was steadily earning money, she felt comfortable to finally do what she wanted to do since her parents died. She traveled around the world in hopes to gather more knowledge about witchcraft. It was hard at first, but since she salvaged some of her parent's old books and also with the help of some of the witch family friends they used to visit, she found out the right places to look for information.
For the next decade and a half, Sapphira trained in the art and became quite a talented witch, but power corrupted her. She sought out more and more power. Her new life goal was to be the first immortal witch, and she stopped at nothing to achieve it. She started murdering humans, and soon other creatures. Once, she was able to capture a vampire, she was almost killed herself, luckily she was able to kill the vampire in hopes to take its immortality, but she failed ultimately. To this day she's still doing everything in her power to achieve immortality. However, she hasn't been tending to her businesses as much and her wealth has significantly decreased overtime. But she still lived in a big house in the hills of California, had maids and other servants, the only thing is she's not as "powerful" in terms of wealth and now she can't just decide to shop in Paris and have dinner in Tokyo like she used to.

The sun was brilliant, the air was perfectly warm, and there was a smell of hope in the air, at least for Sapphira there is. She was one step closer to achieving immortality. The very thought of being immortal sent chills of excitement down her spine. Today was the day she would achieve, she just felt it. Or it could be wishful thinking. Sapphira had been dying looking at herself in the mirror lately. She had been growing senile at such a pace that she didn't like. She didn't want to be an old hag. She wanted to keep her beautiful face forever, she wanted to live forever. She couldn't see why it would be impossible. There were a handful of immortal creatures out there, she knew it was just a matter of details and power that a witch like her could become an immortal herself. She just knew it in her bones. And today, she felt really close to immortality, literally. Her deep amethyst eyes were carefully observing an immortal creature itself. The witch was staring eye to eye with a vampire.
The vampire was a man, quite handsome at that. Sapphira was of course careful, she knew that vampires were very dangerous beings, fortunately she liked dangerous. The vampire was seated in a wooden chair, which weakened the vampire greatly. Sapphira had remembered her mother teaching her about different creatures and their weaknesses. Vampires were weak to wood as witches were weak to iron. The vampire wasn't tied, but instead Sapphira set up a triangle around the vampire with symbols on each points. This is to immobilize the vampire for a short while until Sapphira got what she needed. She planned on transferring its immortality to her. She had devised a spell, but she didn't know if it would work perfectly. She tweaked the soul transferring spell and when she practiced with one of her goons, she was able to transfer one goon's voice to another. She thought immortality would work the same. Now if side effects were that she gets the vampires speed and strength, even better.
Sapphira started chanting, she lit three candles clockwise around the vampire and she waited.Nothing happened, the vampire just looked even weaker, but most likely because of the wooden chair its sitting in. Then everything turned bad, the spell that immobilized the vampire wore off and he was able to free himself. He tried to lunge at the witch but she was able to sidestep. She got ash from the table and started making another protective boundary but she was too slow, the vampire had her pinned to the floor. When the vampire was ready to suck the life out of Sapphira, he started cringing, as if there was something inside him clawing itself out. Then the vampire started aging at an unnatural speed. The vampire grew older and older until it was dust. For a few seconds, she thought the spell had worked, but she didn't feel any different. She cut her palm too see if it would heal quickly but no luck. She tested her strength to see if she got stronger, but no luck. Somehow, she had just took the vampires immortality.
The witch was upset, but soon realized she was one step closer to achieving her goal. It was only a matter of time.
