'this little girl is capable of murder 'cause you hurt her'
FULL NAME Arden Jaqueline Bryant
NICKNAMES Used to be called 'Ardie', but that isn't accepted anymore. Therefore, she prefers 'Arden'.
AGE Looks to be nineteen, nearly twenty. She was originally born in the Elizabethan era, so she's actually quite old....
GENDER Female
BIRTHDAY October 31st
SPECIES Fallen Angel.
ALLIANCE Light - she wants to make good for the bad she did.
SEXUALITY Heterosexual.
PLAY-BY Deborah Ann Woll
EYES Blue-green, roundish
HAIR Light red, long with layers, tends to be a happy medium between fine and thick
BODY TYPE Slender, but still has the womanly curves
HEIGHT About five-foot-eight, five-foot-nine
WEIGHT Around one-hundred-forty pounds
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES A spattering of freckles across her nose and cheeks, a few on her forehead
STYLE Arden tends to dress according to her mood and the event that she is to attend. If she's having a lazy day, then it's sweats and a t-shirt. If she's running errands, jeans and a simple blouse usually suffice. Anything more important than that, and she'll break out the dresses.
LIKES
- books --- she always enjoyed reading, even when she was a guardian angel. her favorite activity when her charges were children was to read with them.
- flowers --- she loves the simple beauty that comes with the plant, how they blossom into color. her favorites are magnolias and orchids.
- painting --- sometimes they end up atrocious, but arden loves to paint. her favorite mediums are chalk pastels and watercolors. her favorite subjects? flowers, though she can occasionally be driven to sketch out memories from her past. those are for her eyes only, though.
- soda --- the discovery of the carbonated beverages was definitely a major point in arden's life. she tries to pace herself, though it never really seems to work.
- stories --- she doesn't care what it's about or how you tell it -- arden just loves listening to stories
- fairy tales --- ever since she was a little human girl, arden had a thing for fairy tales. too bad they ended up being more real than her wildest dreams, huh?
- health food --- despite her love for soda, arden loves to eat healthy. she's living on this earth a lot longer than most people. she'd like to stay healthy.
- traveling --- having first been in london, arden found that as a guardian angel, she was assigned to a lot of different people all over the world. plus, with being an immortal being now, she can't really stay in the same place forever.
- movies --- action, comedy, thriller. give her any kind of movie, and arden will be happy. just not a sappy love story, though. arden may end up crying, and not because she's touched by their love.
- sleep --- even though she doesn't need it much, arden enjoys sleeping. she finds it as a time for both brain and body to simply relax. very peaceful.
DISLIKES
- dogs --- They always frightened her, even when she was human the first time around. Loud and messy and sometimes even mean.
- trains --- They're quite loud as well. When it comes to transportation over a long distance, Arden would much prefer flying.
- too much alone time --- it haunts her. if arden is given too much time for herself, her past creeps into her thoughts and all the guilt comes rushing back.
- lizards --- they're scaly and crawly and creepy and just ugh.
- salamanders --- same as lizards. except they're slimy instead of scaly.
- sewing --- she's so glad to live in a time where girls are not expected to learn how to sew and mend clothing. arden had never quite managed to achieve that skill.
- exercise --- even though arden likes to be healthy, she really doesn't enjoy getting out to exercise. but she'll do so, albeit grudgingly.
- driving --- much like trains, arden finds cars to be too loud. driving is such a nuisance as well, but she'll tolerate riding in a car if someone else drives.
- shopping --- she's a girl. doesn't every girl love shopping? not arden. she doesn't understand why people would want to spend countless hours just looking at dresses and skirts and the like. just grab a pair of jeans and go.
- death --- if you had to watch all your loved ones die around you while you were kept alive for eternity, i doubt you'd like death that much either.
STRENGTHS
- maternal --- being a guardian angel gave arden a sort of parental attribute. when it comes to children or someone in need, she will try her best to be a caregiver to them.
- listener --- she will listen to you
- loyal --- arden will do her best never to betray you. if she makes a promise to you, she'll try to keep it.
- enthusiastic --- when arden puts her mind to a task, she'll become passionate about it.
WEAKNESSES
- untrusting --- arden wants to trust you, she does. but the underlying feeling that you may find out who she really is, about what she did, will keep her at bay.
- eternal sinner --- she's a murderer, so to speak. she's guilty for eternity. arden has no way of ever getting redeemed; she lost that chance. toss that in her face, and she'll crumble.
- easily distracted --- not sure how much of a weakness it can be, but arden is not one to keep her attention on something for long. her train of thought can easily go off course, so you may have to put her back on track sometimes during a conversation.
- vengeful --- it rarely happens, but there are times when arden feels a need to seek venges, whether it be for herself or for someone she cares about. which was the case when james' wife died.
HABITS
- sleeping in --- even though she doesn't need sleep, arden loves to sleep in when she can. sometimes even when she's not supposed to. quite possibly a bad habit.
- late-night snacker --- when she can't sleep, arden will tend to grab some celery with peanut butter or something to crunch on. it's always something healthy, though she occasionally taken a turn towards brownies before...
- daydreamer --- remember the short attention span? yes, that ties in with her daydreaming. if arden isn't completely taken with the subject at hand, her thoughts will travel and you'll have to somehow get her back to Earth (metaphorically, of course.) good luck.
FEARS
- darkness --- the dark can hold so many frightening things. metaphorically and literally.
- fish --- the unblinking eyes, the way they're always watching you as they swim. it's flippin' creepy, man.
- medical procedures --- she was around during the bubonic plague, when the doctors wore these weird get-ups and looked more like demons. so it's not too surprising that arden is afraid of going to the doctor's. surgeries, booster shots, visits to the dentist. doesn't matter what it is -- she's not going quietly.
DESIRES
- she wants Heaven to take her back, even though she knows they never will.
- she wants to find love for real one day. she's had a taste for it, but never actually truly felt it.
SECRETS
- the reason she fell -- the murder of james' wife.
OVERALL
she's up and down...
Some doctors nowadays could say that Arden suffered from depression when she fell. Which would actually be a good assumption to make. There are days when she feels extremely down, and wants nothing more than to simply vanish from Earth. And there are other days, more frequent days, when Arden is a happy individual. Acting like a normal nineteen-year-old, wanting to go to school and make friends and all that jazz.
However, her past still haunts her, and when she is alone, all Arden can think about is why she fell, and how God will never forgive her. She has to keep her secret from everyone, otherwise they'd think she was crazy. Even those fighting for the secrecy of their kind can't know about her sins. They'd judge her, and then Arden would be alone.

OVERALL
"when i was a human...."
Originally born as Audrey Grace Albyn, she was the middle daughter of Thomas and Victoria Albyn, residing in London, England. Her family was upper middle class, well off when it came to their lifestyle of attending and hosting dinner parties and afternoon teas and the like. They seemed to have no worries, happily marrying off first their eldest daughter, Isabel, and then securing an engagement for their second eldest, Audrey, to Nathaniel Tobias Godfrey. The engagement was a huge hit, as his family was even higher in class than the Albyns.
Audrey was in bliss when it came to her engagement. Nathaniel was a fine young man, a few years her senior, but had a pleasant personality and was kind to her and her younger sister. She was quite fond of him, almost even completely fancied him, and was more than ready to marry him. Unfortunately, the young bride-to-be never got to see her wedding day.
The Bubonic Plague managed to sweep through her household, infecting both Audrey and Fortune. Both daughters unfortunately passed, leaving the family in grieving and Nathaniel to find a new fiance.
"when i was an angel..."
She was never sure why she was chosen to be a guardian angel. Perhaps her modesty as a human factored in, or her generosity, or maybe God saw something in her that she hadn't seen in herself. She changed her name to Arden so as not to be recognized by her remaining family -- just in case -- and was given her first charge.
She completed assignment after assignment, always following orders, always obedient. It wasn't until the early 1900's, however, did Arden make a mistake. The young man was named James Thorton, and he was more handsome than anyone Arden had ever seen. He became a part of her, in a way, more than any of her other assignments had. She was in love with this man, going against the rules of the angels, but that still wasn't what made her fall.
James was oblivious to his guardian's feelings, falling for another human himself. They announced an engagement, and that was the start of Arden's downfall. A jealous rage overtook the angel, emotions that an angel should never experience. She fought hard against them, though, wanting for James to simply be happy, even at the expense of her own. But eventually, the pain became too much to bear. A few years into James' marriage, his wife mysteriously died of asphyxiation. The killer was never found, and Arden was cast down from Heaven.
"when i was cast out...."
Her wings were ripped away; she was stripped of her title. Arden had never felt worse in her entire life. And now? Now she was an outcast, no longer welcome in Heaven, an abomination in other angels' eyes. She had committed the worst crimes, sinned beyond measure. Coveted a human, allowed herself to be blinded by jealousy and rage, even murdered. Of course Heaven didn't want her anymore.
And now, she was sentenced to an immortal life on Earth, living among the humans who she had once watched from above. Arden added to her name, completing her eternal human image.

OTHER CHARACTERS Sadly, no. At least not yet.
RP SAMPLE oh, geez. please don't hate it.The stupid city was always overrun with the night creatures, feeding off the unsuspecting humans who thought that vampires and werewolves were just from a silly novel and demons only existed in the Bible. Blake Cordell Bennett sighed as he loaded the shotgun he always kept stored in his car, his dark eyes watching a young, fair-skinned girl get trailed by a hungry-looking fellow. Everyone would automatically assume that the man was a pedifile or a rapist, but Blake knew he was so much worse. Putting someone like him in jail would only fuel his rage, make his hunger stronger. No, someone like him had to be killed immediately. While he was on the streets. Not out in the open, though. No, that would cause alarm and questions and chaos that they didn't need. No, Spencer would lure him in.
Speaking of, Spencer Audrey Bennett sat in the seat next to her brother, watching the man just as intently, if not more. She wasn't fond of being the bait for this one hunt, but it would have to be done. The two of them had been tracking down this paticular creature for a good while. He thrived on the helpless lives of young human women, going for the older teenagers who were fresh out of high school, the college girls who had just set their eyes on degrees, the graduates who were aiming for a better future. Yes, he'd attack them, tear their limbs apart. And still be hungry. Yes, werewolves were never satisfied with just one kill. They always wanted more.
Just as Spencer was about to get out of the car, though, to become the lure for this ugly being, he stopped. Turned away from the girl, and headed in the direction he'd just come, shaking his head and muttering to himself. With a sigh, Spencer sunk back down in her seat, scowling at the loss of a fight. If she could have things her way, the twenty-year-old would be chasing down the werewolf in his human skin, killing him right off the bat. But Blake had a different set of rules when it came to their hunting. If the animal didn't pose a threat, they didn't attack. There was always hope, after all.
The twenty-three-year-old male unloaded the shotgun and placed it in the backseat again, sliding the bullets into his front pocket. No need to leave a loaded weapon around, especially when Spencer was itching for a fight. He could see his sister's disapproval of letting the creature go, but it was their policy. Despite their titles as 'rogue hunters', he still had rules for the two of them to follow. Rules that kept them safe and alive.
"C'mon," Blake muttered, starting the car and turning onto the empty road. "I'll buy you a drink." It was an empty offer, as neither of them drank alcohol. Clouded your senses, made you unaware to your surroundings. In their line of work, you always needed to make sure you were alert. However, that didn't mean the two couldn't enter a bar and order a soda or something. Besides, bars were great sources. Creatures tended to gravitate towards them, either for their own hunting or to just relax. Whatever the case, Spencer and Blake knew that they still had to be watched.
As they drove, Spencer gave another little huff of exasperation, slumping in her seat and crossing her arms. "We should have went after him," she grumbled, not looking at her brother. Between the two, Blake was always the more level-headed sibling. He made the decisions usually, and basically took on an almost parental role. Despite only being three years older than his sister, the male definitely had the wisdom.
Spencer, on the other hand, was the hothead of the duo. She tended to strike first, ask questions later. Very often, she allowed her emotions to control her, which usually meant that her rage and infuriation would overcome her and she would wreak havoc. Tempermental was an understatement when it came to the dark-haired young woman, who fully believed in the phrase that 'action speaks louder than words.'
They were rogue hunters, something that could almost be looked down upon when it came to hunters as a people. They didn't belong to one of the societies or associations, if only because there was always one rule or another that they didn't agree with, or someone just didn't like their methods. Which suited the Bennetts just fine. Or at least it suited Spencer just fine. She didn't like the idea of answering to higher authorities, whether it be a job or not. Blake was one thing; he was family, and she would never go behind his back purposely. Plus, he had saved her life countless times. She owed him her respect and gratitude, if nothing else.
A silence came between the two until they reached the bar, Blake parking and getting out. "Coming?" he asked Spencer, holding the door open as he leaned forward into the car to speak to his sister. Spencer nodded, her violet eyes innocent as she met his gaze.
"I'll come in a moment. Order me a Coke, okay?"
Blake nodded, shutting the door and pocketing the keys. He knew Spencer would lock the car from the inside, as she always did, so there was no worry. He headed inside, the bar humid from shared body heat and human sweat and evaporated liquids. Taking a seat at the bar, the dark-haired male ordered the two sodas -- Coke for Spencer, Sprite for him -- before glancing around the bar. Best to make sure there wasn't any danger in the bar before even thinking about relaxing.
