Owen is the guy that in high school, you would see getting picked on by the jocks in the locker room after gym class. He is quite brilliant, and like his 23-year-old brother, suffers for that sometimes. Owen isn't one to hold things against people with their actions, but he will hold it against them if it's towards his family, whom he's extremely protective of. He's the type of guy too, that girls will see and go, "Awwww." but won't ever pursue him further except to maybe have the "gay best friend" that he absolutely hates when girls label him as. Quite the physics nerd, Owen has a strong passion for it and is aiming for a Ph.D in it so that he can teach college, which he's already helping out a Prof. by teaching a Physics 101 class once in awhile, as well as other 100-level classes. Owen absolutely enjoys being who he is, especially when it comes to physics as well as photography. He spent over 500 dollars on his camera and accesories, as it is one of his hidden passions, one he doesn't prefer for others to see.

Secrets are his thing. Owen loves them, he'll keep them, everything and anything with them, he loves dealing with them. He's the one who offered an anonymous bathroom meeting with people once in awhile in high school and such, much like he saw in a movie, and it worked too, though he didn't get paid, he heard people's problems, and since he didn't know who they were, and they didn't know him, who would get hurt, right? He's also the one who will say something and when he thinks it's awkward, will try to correct it and often times ends up making it more awkward than it would have been before. Nevertheless, Owen is persistent, and once he does find something he wants, he'll go for it till it either brushes him off once and he learns. He's much like a puppy, his friends compare him to, he will love everyone, as long as they don't hurt him.

Melisa and Lucas Collins, where to start? Melisa fell for Lucas the moment she spotted him in her high school class, she was the type, the Class President, and President of about three other clubs throughout her junior and senior years. Lucas was a transfer student to their private school in the United Kingdom, from New York City. This immediately perked the young woman's interest, and soon after speaking with Lucas a few times, she broke up with her boyfriend, Reed to go out with Lucas. This wasn't taken too well on Reed's end, who then promptly spread word around he was having a party at the end of April, a week before their last major dance for them, their senior year. Lucas and Melisa were together constantly, and though they hung out with friends too, they were officially an item. Lucas' and Melisa's parents were both all right with them being together, though Lucas' had a few more worries than those of Melisa. The party happened to be a few days before the full moon, and there, Reed drew Lucas out and away from the party, him and another friend, who was a wrestler. In the woods near Reed's house, he and his buddy, named Carl started to pick on Lucas, and attempt to beat him up. This, Lucas would have none of, and they sparked his anger enough, he shifted. Thankfully he really had control over himself, but he shifted, and the two boys freaked, before they tried to run, Lucas just pinned them down beneath his front paws. The massive gray wolf snarled, and threatened them, using his mind to force them to not say anything to anyone, and to leave him and Melisa alone. Forever.

Needless to say, Lucas and Melisa weren't bothered by Reed and his goons again, and they graduated, Melisa going to a nice college, and Lucas managing to get into Oxford. There, Melisa transferred, and they graduated, then moved to New York City, where they then soon married when they were both 26 years-old, and within a few years, Melisa had fallen pregnant. At this time, she didn't know about Lucas, him being a manager and working with music records, he was gone randomly a lot, though when she was about 8 months pregnant, only three weeks from her due date, she demanded to Lucas why he always had to travel away once a month for a night or two. He claimed it was his job, but she had called his boss, asking him where Lucas had gone to. Needless to say, Lucas finally gave in and told her. Freaked, Melisa told him to leave, and then demanded if their baby would be like him. He reluctantly answered affirmative. Melisa went into labor then, and even though she hated Lucas for not telling her, she still had the baby just fine, and they then named him Aidan. (temporary name) Aidan was a healthy baby, and being pretty much full-term, the doctors weren't too worried. Melisa, after seeing their child, and Lucas being there for her, she just accepted it, though she was nervous when about a year later, she fell pregnant once more.

The boys were going to be close in age, but she didn't care, and Lucas, the proud father, couldn't wait till he could start teaching his son and his next child about who - what they were. Owen was born, and even though Aidan didn't really know too much, once he and Owen began to grow, both Melisa and Lucas quickly noticed how - intelligent and quick both their boys were. Throughout elementary school, Owen and Aidan always received excellent marks, and straight As. At first they worried if they were autistic to a certain degree, though this proved just to be that they were brilliant later on in life. Owen was in 8th grade when he realized just how different he and Aidan were compared to everyone else. His older brother who shared the same school with him approached him after school one day, revealing to Owen a research paper he'd gotten an A on, and that's when some bullies proceeded to poke fun at the two brothers, both with shades of black hair, much like their father, Lucas. Melisa pulled up to pick up her sons about a minute or two after their already usually lower self-esteems were shattered, and she attacked the boys, then called their mothers, having known the mothers for quite some time. Aidan and Owen planned revenge a few days later, and even got away with it, having covered their track and done research.

Owen had a fairly normal childhood, his father working quite a bit, though when he noticed his father disappearing once a month for a night or two, both he and his older brother, who was also smart like him, and they confronted him one day when Owen was 13 and Aidan was 14. He confessed, telling them what he was, and what they too, would most likely be when they got older, probably around their later teen years, depending on when they hit puberty and all that. Course, Aidan turned 17, and he shifted for the first time. Owen was at home with his mother, studying and finishing up homework and all that, till the next morning when Aidan and Father returned, Aidan looking quite..nauseous. Needless to say, Owen wasn't looking forward to it, and he of course shifted about 5 months after his 17th birthday, and a few days before Aidan graduated from high school. Aidan got a full-ride to Brown University, with his grades and extra-curricular activities, while Owen had to wait another year. Aidan moved off, leaving Owen to deal with him shifting by himself, though his father was around, his parents were arguing once in awhile. Owen didn't worry about it and just stayed focused in school, falling in love with physics.

He then graduated, and moved here - for some reason or another, but mainly because he heard about the very nice physics program they had here. Plus, good internships as well, even if it was for a smaller college, there's the community college in this town, and the larger one...Owen's in the larger one. He adores physics, and now that he has his own place, he works part-time with a science lab here, and gets paid fairly well for being a college student. Owen plans on becoming a teacher, though he still worries about his shifting, he has a dark past, having almost killed Lucas before Lucas was able to shift, since Owen is known for being able to shift rather swiftly in his family. He keeps this to himself though, and will only tell someone if they happen to ask.
