Compassionate/Kind - Jason is a very kind soul. All through his life he put others before him and grew up to be the kind of guy who would be there for you through thick and thin. When someone needs to be heard, he would hide his own voice to let someone else speak their problems or opinions. Only ever giving advice if he believed it would do someone good rather than hurt them. He does have a problem with spoiling some of his younger family members, but he just wants to make them happy. He can say no and he knows it a very easy word to get out of his mouth, he just doesn’t like to say it. His family will always get the kind and compassionate side of him, but they’re not so special as to get a little anger from him one in a while, but it’s quickly squashed by his love for them.

Fearless/Honest – Jason is a fighter, it sometimes counters his kind and gentle nature but if he does have to get down and dirty, he will come out on top. Fighting for family or for something he strong believes in, he will always win. He refuses to lose ever not to anyone. He also believes honesty is the best policy but can be used in a kind and gentle way rather than throwing the honest truth at someone. Sugar coating can spare feelings, he can still tell it how it is and also make sure someone doesn’t get hurt in the process. He is able to throw his kindness to the wind when he feels it’s the right time and to the right person. Some people respond better with the brute honesty, thankfully he can turn it on and off.

Jason was born into the large werewolf family of the Way’s. He and his siblings were supposed to be second in line in the family, however do to his uncles interesting marriage choice; they got bumped up to first in line in the family. It seemed that even before this though, the rivalry between him and his sister began. All through childhood his twin sister and himself completed for everything and anything. Jason was always the sweetie while to put his kindly his twin sister was still the bitch as she is today. Just in child form. He has to thank his sister since she also helped him become the man he is today. To balance out her bitchy ways, he turned to be the light and happy sibling. The one you could always lean on. Even from a child he was always there for his family no matter the age they were in contrast to him. He loved all his cousins with all his heart, giving them some of his candy on Halloween or making sure their birthday was extra special. He felt like it was his job to do so.

When Jason was 16 he met a girl named Tinsley. She, like him, was a werewolf. They weren’t together as in a couple, they were more like the best of friends. Jason loved her and she loved him, but they never went to that level. Neither regretted it since they valued their friendship far too much to put it as risk for a “maybe” or “what if.” They were always attached at the hip for a whole year; even his family teased him about how he should have just married her when they got older. When he turned 20 he and Tinsley went out into the forest as they always did. It was habit for them to go out and talk about their day and what was going on in their life. They ended up staying until night, as they were leaving both werewolves got jumped by hunters. Jason was not use to hunters since his family kept a very low profile, but Tinsley was different. They both ran but only one ended up getting out of the woods that night.

With his best friend gone, Jason fell into heavy drinking. It took away the pain and the questions he constantly had brewing inside him. Some family members questioned his consent drinking, but even with their concern and pleas he didn’t stop. It was the only way he felt to keep himself sane and push all the guilt away. He became even more protective over his family from then on, becoming more aware of the dangers that could cause them harm and only enforced the fact that they needed to keep a low profile. Even with five years passing, Jason still continued to drink (maybe a little less than before) but the whiskey feels flowing. Losing his best friend caused him to be a little bit wary of getting close to anyone ever again besides his family.
