When she is mad or doesn’t feel like doing something, she can be quite stubborn. She won’t let someone control her, at least not if she has any say in it. She often wonders why she feels like a piece of her is missing. She knows that she misses her birth parents, but she doesn’t understand what else could be missing from her life. The feeling has been there since she was little so it must something to do with her birth family.
She loves to be outdoors, particularly in the forest. If you can’t find her at home, at work, or at school, she is often in the woods or hanging out at a park listening to birds sing their songs. OVERALL Nessa and Zane Cutner met when they were young. They quickly fell in love and soon got married. After a few months, Nessa found out that she was pregnant with twins. When she saw the two little bodies inside of her, she was so surprised, but also overjoyed. Zane was excited, too, when she told him and they began to pick out names. Nessa picked out Arriane’s name and Zane picked out Lucinda’s name. By the time the girls were due to be born, they had everything ready.
Unfortunately, something horrible would happen. When Nessa was giving birth to the two girls, something went wrong and they had to go in and deliver them by C-section. During this, Nessa died and Zane was left with two baby girls that he was expected to raise. However, it grew too much for him and he decided that it would be best for the girls if he gave them up for adoption. It was a closed adoption so he didn’t realize that they would be separated. He just went on with his life.
Years passed before Aria found out that she was adopted. She was shocked when she found out and wanted to know who her real parents were, but Jonas and Renee said that it was a closed adoption and that they didn’t have that information. She let the subject rest for the remaining years of her living with them and soon graduated from high school. She then left her adoptive parents behind and moved to Manuka to start her education at the University. She has kept her eyes open for any clues to her birth family, but has been really busy with school work and her part-time job at Steaming Beans Café.
A couple of weeks back, she met a handsome stranger on her walk home from work and they struck up a conversation. Everything was going great until a hunter showed up and, thinking that Aria was in danger, tried to kill the vampire she was with. Derek wasn’t there to hurt Aria, but clearly the hunter didn’t know this. Knowing that he had to protect himself, Derek showed his vampire side as he fought off the hunter. He ended up killing him and Aria was forced to stand by and watch, helpless to do anything about it. After the deed was done, Derek turned to Aria and knew that it would be best for her to forget this ever happened so he used compulsion to make her forget him and that night. It worked and she went home and continued life like nothing happened. However, in the recent days, she has begun to remember what happened. She mostly sees the memory in her dreams and she can’t get it out of her head. She doesn’t know if it really happened or if she is losing her mind. Either way, it can’t be good for her to remember it now.
