[rs=2] | THE SPECIES BEFORE hunter Annette became a hunter after she had found out that her brother wasn't dead because he drowned while surfing at night, but because a demon had killed him. After that, she became friends with more and more supernatural beings and she actually wasn't really the hunter she should be, hunting down supernaturals, instead of befriending them. THE SPECIES AFTER immortal Annette will turn into an immortal, not for the sake of living forever, nor for the extra power or anything to want for herself. No, she'll sell her soul to the devil to save her unborn kid. The whole idea of not dieing actually is quite scary to her, but she has to make the decision so quickly that she doesn't think about the consequences thoroughly enough. Annette has to give birth to her baby, however it will be way to early, but there are (yet undefined) critical circumstances that leave her no other choice. It's that or dieing along with the kid. Or just the kid to die, but for Annette that option doesn't count. So Chase Lewis tells her that if she sells her soul to the devil and becomes an immortal, she could give birth to the baby and it would survive. And as it has to be done quickly, like mentioned above, Annette without further reconsidering does what Chase has told her to do. And thus she becomes an immortal and the baby will be safe, now a hybrid immortalxshapeshifter. However, she still can't give little Jacob Louis Carraway the protection he needs, her mother is still lurking in the dark, and thus she sends lil Jacob away to her brother and her ex-boyfriend (now his boyfriend) in New York City. Annette never strived giving up her mortality, in fact, she was pretty okay with it. And with her changes and her becoming a supernatural, her hunter friends might now like her anymore the way they did and she has given up a lot. A lot for a kid that she couldn't even keep herself. These things will pull Annette a bit down in the drain and make her feel depressed, atleast for the time being. |
