"Yes. Jared Ewing, twenty-seven years old and I must say a rather charming actor applying for this role in your - and might I add; a fantastic - production. This is quite peculiar of you, to want to know so much, but alright I'll oblige. Currently I am unemployed, but I am an on and off actor and make my living through ... saving shall we say. I got into acting a while ago, but I won't bore you with the story that I'm sure you would find less than fascinating ma'am. Though I must say, that I do play cowboys really well ... not that that's a plus for this production. I have enjoyed very much so the story of Phantom of the Opera, I mean who would not? A love story with a not so happy ending. So you know what? I am not a fan of happy endings myself, as life doesn't provide that many people with their dream end if you are catching my drift. I of course, think that I would be suited to the role of Mr. Phantom, and as you can guess from my less than common, or more considered as less than average features would be just fit to play such an admirable villain. I have always liked to watch this ... modern production of the musical..."

It was quite stunning how perfectly the lies rolled off my tongue. Or well, the first part anyway. You could say that I did look like a normal twenty-seven year old male who was very passionate about acting indeed. I have always been into the area of the arts. I had always found it a way to poke around other people's feelings and their relationships. It was fun to compare them to my own. The lies came easily to me now, sometimes I even believe them myself as I usually don't even remember how old I am... is it two millenia? Three? I don't know, and I don't care but 'being twenty-seven' is actually quite awesome sometimes, and the ladies, how do you people say this in modern terms? Ah yes; 'dig' older men. Especially ones with atrocious fashion sense and who think that bow ties are cool.

I truly go a long way back, as well as being absolutely ancient, i know... a lot of people. I probably could not name them all if I tried! I don't even remember my family very well, as being an immortal for so long doesn't really keep your memory fresh. Other than that I adore travelling! Oh the places I have been and seen! They were all just so magnificent, and it is absolutely breathtaking to see how they changed so much over time! For example, the rise and fall of the dark ages was so brutal compared to this modern world and electricity. I don't care much for it myself, a television is not something I see myself needing except to maybe view the news every once in a while, a man has to keep updated to the more than rapid changes that this world goes through. Poor mother earth, and to think that when I wasn't as old it didn't used to have electricity or pollution...Those were the times! Right now, the world population has it so easy! Yes... I am a very black and white person shall we say, but I have not given any reason to see any shaded areas before. Either you like something or you don't. Either you do something or you don't. You're either good or bad, therefore it's all black and white. I am quite pushy on my views sometimes, but I like to think that I have enough charm not to make people run away from me as fast as they can.
