OVERALL
This is one quirky girl. She's a bit nerdy and pretty creative, attached to her music like a lifeline. She is well versed in literature of all kinds, movies of every genre, and various TV shows that catch her interest. Rather charming in an awkward sort of way, she has no trouble making friends, though she has trouble completely opening up to anyone. The exception to this rule is her charge, who is her best friend. He knows as much about her as is allowed, which is most of who she is.
Being an angel hasn't changed much about her personality, though she might be just a bit more skittish now. She has died, after all. Dying should make anyone skittish. She wishes she could just resume her old life and she comes close with Jordan. He's like a brother, though, so they fight on and off. Possessing a talent for sarcasm, this red head isn't exactly the quiet type. She's a bit off, but cute because of it so it all evens out.
MOTHER Annabelle Marie Benson Jackson, Deceased.
FATHER Luke Ryan Jackson
SIBLINGS None
OTHER PERSONS OF IMPORTANCE Her only friend of note is Jordan, her charge. He's her bestie.
ETHNICITY Caucasian
WEALTH STATUS Textbook middle class.
OVERALL
London grew up in a pretty typical Midwestern American home. Her father was a fireman and her mother was a children's librarian. Their home was simple but comfortable. London never really complained, but she never wanted for anything either. Her parents had a sneaky way of making things happen, though their exact methods still leave London mystified. Her parents sometimes said that she got her looks from her mother and her charms from her father, sometimes the other way around. She could never keep track of which suggestion occurred more often to make it official.
When London was seventeen, her mother was murdered outside of her library, as she was coming out for the day. Her killer had been an escaped convict who had recently been transferred to a new facility. On route, the man overpowered his guard and escaped. The newspapers said that she just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, that she didn't match the man's typical victims. Regardless, her mother was gone and that left the girl alone with her father in crucial developmental years.
This lack of maternal influence probably lead to some of her social awkwardness. She graduated from high school, went off to college to study music and did relatively well for several years.
Her life was cut short, however, when driving back for Christmas her junior year. A drunk driver ran a red light and slammed into her car, killing the girl instantly. She hadn't even had time to blink before she was looking down at the wreckage of her car, utterly and hopelessly confused.
Once she figured out what had happened, things moved rather quickly. She was taken to Heaven and given her assignment and wings in what seemed to be an impossibly short time. Before Jordan, her new life had seemed unfair. After all, her luck was horrible and now her poor father was all alone. After Jordan, however, she had new meaning. A purpose drove her life now and he was her reason for existing. She had taken the rule about not loving the humans seriously, though, and filed her charge under 'friend' status, adopting him as a brother of sorts. She's with him all the time now, though he has started to drift away from her slightly. What will become of her existence when he no longer needs protecting is currently unclear.

RP SAMPLE"Do I really have to wear the dress, Jordan? Really?" The silence that met her ears affirmed her fears. Her best friend and charge took great pleasure in tormenting her and London all but let him. He was, after all, the most important thing in her life as of this particular moment. If he wanted her to dress up for some silly day out, she would humor him but she’s do it with a smirk.
The dress her friend had chosen was a pale pink, fitted close to her body and rather flattering. The color brought out the pinks in her skin and almost made her glow. Her hair was always a problem when Jordan wanted her to dress up, but she did her best. Eventually it allowed itself to be pinned into a messy bun, a shiny silver barrette pinning back her ever-pesky bangs. London sort of liked them in her eyes as a twisted sort of barrier against unwanted attention, but Jordan said that her eyes were her best feature and should be shown off. Her wings settled closely against her back, though no one could ever see them. She liked it that way too.
Once her appearance had been sufficiently cleaned up, London took a deep breath and stepped out into the cool night air beyond her apartment. She was out to have some fun tonight and planned to do exactly that. Some dancing, some drinking, maybe a guy…. Everything depended on luck, though, which meant lots of things could go wrong. With a smirk, the girl started off down the street toward the club where she was meeting her charge.
She was at her best when things went wrong.
