Mae is a complex girl and is unafraid to show her multiple personalities. She is most often short tempered and crude. She is unafraid to tell you her opinion, because she doesn't care if she comes across as a bitch. She can be obnoxious and rude, and if she hurts your feelings she won't feel bad. She never apologizes, because she doesn't care what others think. If you bad mouth her, she with most definitely have a response. Mae is proud of her razor sharp tongue.

Mae is incredibly stubborn. Once she gets an idea in her head, there is no way to get her to think otherwise. Once she hates someone, that's it. She will pretty much always hate them. To change her opinion of someone is nearly impossible. Mae has no tolerance for people she doesn't like. She has zero sympathy for people that rub her the wrong way and almost enjoys their pain. Mae has always been a spoiled brat. If she asked for it, she got it, no questions asked. This may have been because she was an only child but it was also because she was blind. Her parents couldn't help but dote. On top of that, Mae has always been wealthy. Her family has never needed to worry about money. Mae's parent's traveled a lot, but Mae never minded. She grew up independent but she also was never taught how to behave. She grew up doing whatever she wanted and saying whatever she felt like.

But Mae hadn't always been blind. It happened when she was about 7. Mae had just learned of her magical abilities. Her mother and father also had magical powers and were telling Mae all about it. They said that both of them had the ability to see into the future and that Mae should give it a try. But Mae could do so much more. She could see the multiple possible futures each action could cause, unlike her parents who could only see one possible future. But in her attempts to see into the multiple futures at once, Mae damaged her eyesight beyond repair. She blinded herself permanently that day. Ever since, Mae is constantly looking into the future as a way of going about her daily life. To her, it has become like makeshift sight.

As Mae grew up, she became increasingly aware that she was alone. She lived in a huge mansion with maids and butlers galore, but she was alone. Her maids and butlers hated her and she had no friends. Her parents were never around and Mae was beginning to think they didn't care. Mae began to harden to the outside world. She decided if they didn't want her, she didn't need them. She became more open about her opinions and more closed off about her feelings. Mae got to the point where no one matters to her anymore.
