ARIELLE FAITH CAESARINA
ari. twenty four. female. heterosexual. shifter. light. dorki.
In Manuka, born on November 18 as the second daughter of Freya and William Caesarina, Arielle had always been a daddy’s girl. Since the day she was born, her father had been her idol. Growing up, Arielle preferred to seek refuge in her dolls, rather than make new friends. In her mind, her dolls were her only true friends. They would listen to her and wouldn’t judge, which didn’t seem to be the case for little girls her age. Despite her reluctance to meet strangers, Arielle was actually a very warm person. In fact, Arielle was always your average, impish little girl, always ready to wreak havoc whenever the opportunity sparked. Everything seemed to be going for the better, as the family traveled to world and relished in new experiences. Arielle couldn’t ask for anything better. Indeed, sometimes, she was even certain that they were the ideal family. Arielle lived a very privileged life. She was always close with both her mother and her father and her sister. Her father always motivated Arielle to do better in life and be the best person she could be. He also always told her how perfect she was.. Arielle always had money at her disposal and could buy anything that she wanted.
Freya was no longer the charming girl that she once was in high school. She was controlling, over protective and on occasions violent. More strain was added to the family when Freya fell pregnant again with a little boy. With this news, everything fell apart. Their poor younger brother was born into a war zone. Luckily for him, he had two sisters who would always look after him, protect him and raise him. When the couple weren’t working, they were either fighting. As Freya’s behavior got worse, William and Arielle got closer. William would read little Arielle stories and try and distract her from the fact her mother wasn’t around. This routine only lasted until her mother came home from work and the couple would end up fighting. Arielle spent many nights in her room listening to her parents screaming at each other, occasionally the two would never stop until the police turned up. On a few occasions William thought about leaving Freya, but he still loved her, even when she got rough with him. Arielle never saw her mother in this negative light until she was five.
Normally little Arielle would stay in her room, until one night she left the safety of her four walls to try and stand up for her father. Arielle got caught in the cross fire and knocked across the room. Of course when Arielle was taken to the hospital for a broken arm the whole family stated it was an accident. She was just messing around like any child her age and ended up hurting herself, this was the story that had stuck ever since. From that night on Arielle never looked at her mother the same way. Her mother would apologize but she continued the same violent behavior. William would console her daughter, telling her that her mommy did love them even if she did get angry some times. Arielle didn’t like taking about it, instead she just denied the truth that was right in front of her.
Arielle was growing up faster than most kids her age. She constantly had to lie about her home life, always had to look after her baby brother, and then after that particular episode in her life, Arielle seemed to grow out of her boisterous, child-like ways, becoming more and more independent by the day. Some of her loved ones started to worry that she was growing up too quickly, yet she felt it was more than necessary. Soon, her father was growing busy with work, unable to take care of the family. Juliette soon began to rebel and come home later. Throughout Juliette’s pre-teen years, her mother was often dictating to her daughter what choices to make, who to be, and even to some extent who she should acquaint herself with. Her mother controlled everything. She refused to be another pigeon her mother could manipulate, and refused to abide to her laws. She has calmed down, though she still harbors some resentment in regards to her mother. So now, Arielle was stuck under the care of her mother.
When Arielle heard her sister, Juliette, who had gotten pregnant at the age of nineteen, it had shocked her. Freya had always told Arielle to stay upstairs but, she listened in on all the fights. It had torn in the close family slowly into pieces and it brought her in a little bit of a depression. After losing her anger very carelessly, it helped push the parents into agreeing to not disown Juliette and because Brad has proposed. Then it happened, they changed their minds. It tore Arielle into pieces. She never got to see her father now she didn’t want to lose her sister too. That night after Juliette went crying to Brad she came and told seventeen year old Arielle she was leaving. Something that had tore Arielle into more pieces. After her father, her only sister her safe place her best friend was leaving her for a stupid boy. Hatred for Brad had surfaced easily and after that day she swore she'd take everything away from Brad. For a seventeen year old she was a very angry person because she was hurt. Soon the Caesarina's had gotten news, Juliette had killed herself for not being able to live without her family. That was enough for Arielle to stop believing in love. Arielle knew she had been a main reason and Juliette beat herself up inside. Her hate of Brad was gone all she did was hate herself. Arielle tore herself apart inside she wouldn't even let her parents near. That had sent the Caesarina's into being a more loose family, wishing not to push Arielle into doing the same.
At this point in her life, she felt like nothing was good anymore. Her entire life was nothing but ashes in the wind. Her whole life has fallen apart. There was no meaning to it anything. Graduating high school felt like a big relief to her, she was finally able to attend college and dorm. She was not going to be at home. College came and she seemed to have lost herself in the freedom that it gave her. She began partying and sleeping around with guys. From that growing lifestyle they started to become dependent. She was drinking nearly everyday and school had become a joke, nothing near the priority it should have been. She was becoming reckless and even more naive by the day. At this time in her life, vulnerable and trying to pick up her pieces, she began to party harder to drink and smoke and snort and inject away the pain. Any means possible to make her numb for enough time to forget was enough for her. This, of course , lead to ending up in a few beds she hadn't meant to .
The last place she ever expected ending up was with a child, though. She was having a baby. Not wanting to suffer the same fate as her sister, Arielle kept her pregnancy a secret from her parents. Her baby, Juliette (named after her sister), was brought into the world in a perfect time, though. Arielle needing picking up, and fast , because she was spiraling downward at a rate that was headed straight for death , and this little girl changed that all immediately. The shifter never thought that there was something she could have done to save her from herself, but Juliette did. The little girl made Arielle clean up her act and step up to take care of, not only her own life, but her daughter’s too. She had to be better for her baby.
She never expected to lose her little angel, though. Naturally, because of the situation, Arielle has always and still to this day blames herself and her boyfriend for what happened. She’s bitter and torn up about it , and losing her baby girl was the next step in hardening her already hurting heart to stone . The thing that stung the most, literally ripping Arielle up inside, was the fact that a drug deal fucking up was the same reason she lost her daughter. She couldn’t let go of her addiction and because of that, she lost her little girl. The father of her child was completely cut from her life in that moment. She needed to get away and fast. Trying to jump back into school and focus on her studies, in an attempt to pick up the shards that had become her life. She tried to change it all.
Now finally graduated from college, Arielle decided to move away and live on her own. She needed to get away from the city for a while. She needed to be somewhere else. She didn’t want to remember all the bad memories that were still lingering around here. It surprised her parents greatly because being entirely alone in an area is something she is never comfortable with, but this was something she felt she needed to do. And to her surprise, her parents allowed her to go always for a while. Arielle went away, with financial help from her parents , to stay for around two years in California. There, Arielle righted herself again. With a new found confidence and a studying crime for awhile, which was a newfound passion for her. Shortly after her twenty fourth birthday, her parents got her an late birthday present. A ticket to Manuka, and some money. So here she is, back in the state she loves. After her time away, away from everyone and everything, she's come back with a newfound confidence. She hasn't completely forgotten, but her past is something she's slammed a firm door on. She's pretty much done with being walked all over , though she's still the same sweet girl, she's just kissed goodbye the good girl inside of her. Her wall has crumbled slowly, though her trust is something you will not get, you may just as well get the time of day .
