Kris was born in a very small town in Sweden hardly anyone knows about the town. Her parents wanted her to be born somewhere no one knew about for one reason, her father was a shifter and in turn she would be born as one also and they didn't want people finding out. Her family was not so big and not so small but most of them didn't know about her. When Kris turned 5 thast when problems started. There was feuding between her mother and father about if her family would know about her or not, which in turn leaded to a divorce and yes Kris was truly upset about it she was only about 6 then and her getting upset made her shift and that made her mother even more not wanting the family to know about her daughter. Not only were the splitting up but she was in the middle of it and they were fighting over who gets custody of her. As you can guess she lived with her father he would have been the only one that wants to show her how to use her power and how to control it.. Kris's mother has not spoken to her since she left and lived with her father, she did live the rest of her teenage years with her father.

Kris was only five when she was shifted to her animal form Not much Kris would remember except the fact that he father was there as she shifted and she screamed in great pain it seemed to be the worst pain she ever felt. Kris cried to her father to make it stop all he could do was sit there and let tears roll down his face as his daughter went through the shift that he himself had to go through. Knowing how the pain was Kris wished to never feel it again but to her luck that wish would never come true. After months trying to not have it happen again there came the time when she would go back to her animal form. The moon was rather close and very bright and full Kris's father knew that tonight would be the night that Kris would have her second shift to her animal form and he would do so as well to help her though it and teach her how to deal with it. Kris was not looking forward to having this pain happen but her father told her it will be ok and he will be there with her. Taking in a deep breath Kris and her father had went to a cave of some sort to hide to shift. As they found a hiding spot Kris looked at the moon and a tear came down her face she knew the pain was coming. Slowly Kris's bones started to change and she held in her cries, she looked over and saw her father changing a little faster then her and he let out a few cries on pain and Kris didn't know if she could do this. Kris fell to the ground as her bones started to form the body of her animal form. after a long painful shift both her and her father they ran off to some woods and got there first meal or for her the first in animal form. After a night in animal form Kris awoke back in her human form for she was nude she looked around and saw all woods he father had already awoke and was dressed, he tossed Kris her clothes and got dressed she had finally had her first shift and knew this is was to expect every time she shifted and she was not happy about it.

After Kris moved in with her father she had heard that her mother had remarried. Her father never got remarried but he did have girlfriends. Her father told Kris the reason he never got married again was because he only loved one woman and she broke his heart and you can guess who that was, yep her mother. Seeing her father so sad she knew she couldn't deal with the same pain so she have told her father that she will be the only woman in his life and he will be the only man in hers and it will never change. Kris's whole life she had so many guys crush on her and ask her to be there girlfriend and she always turned them down, she was the only one her father has got so she would always keep her promise to him and never had any other man. A few years down the road when Kris moved out of her fathers home she ran into her mother, yes there was no happy family reunion at all. Now the family on her mothers side are just strangers to Kris and she happy with that.


When Kris hit high school she was a loner but soon she was welcomed into some cliques.Kris thought since she was a shifter people wouldn't accept her so she made sure no one knew about it. Kris dealt with school and her shifting pretty hard but it was life and she had to learn to balance it. After Kris graduated she went onto college at a new country entirely . Kris wanted to get a taste or other places so she moved to Westbrook, Maine thinking it might be a great place to go to college. After a while Kris was having trouble trying to get a degree and hide who she was. Kris drop out of college after her second year and now lives in a little apartment with one of her old classmates and she is having trouble making ends meet which is why she works as a yoga instructor and waitress and keeping her true self hidden its lots of hard work for Kris but she is making it through.
