Charlie has a problem with rules and people who try to control her. She will break any rule she sees fit to and sometimes will break a rule just because she wants to prove that no one can control her. She is a control freak and cannot relinquish any control willingly to anyone. She is independent and hates anyone who tries to take it from her. Which is why she hates people who are stronger than her because while she is quite the rebel, she is always careful never to get herself killed as she quite enjoys her own life. Thusly it is quite ironic that she has no empathy whatsoever for others and quite enjoys taking from others what she wants, including lives. When she cannot have something she loses her temper and throws a tantrum, breaking stuff being her favorite way of expressing her anger. She feels that when she cannot have something... no one should be allowed to have it. She was the youngest child in her family and was used to having everything she wanted... And she still kind-of expects it and gets mad when she doesn’t. She is also an attention-whore and loves admirers and compliments and enjoys reaching into a man’s heart and crushing it until they are merely a puddle of a man that they used to be. She likes feeling power over others and absolutely loves it when she manages to get a man so addicted to her that she can treat him like a slave.

As a demon, Charlie loves to toy with people, confusing them and surprising them until they do not even know who they really are anymore. She loves destruction - but this is really just because she is selfish and lets her anger out on anyone or anything around her, whether or not they have anything to do with it. Some people see her as evil, others think of her as a young child who does not know what she wants and is having a temper tantrum. When people treat Charlie like a child, she gets incredibly furious and she hates that she is stuck looking 17. Either way, Charlie does not take kindly to any kind of critisism to her character as she takes it as a personal insult, even if she deep down agrees with you... And you don’t want to have her turn her anger on you. Charlie is an expert swordswoman - she picked up the hobby upon becoming a fallen as she did not want anyone to be able to kill - and is quite adept at defending herself or attacking. She is very blood thirsty at times when she does not get what she wants and she is not afraid to kill.

Deep down though, Charlie is actually quite sensitive and uncertain about herself, though she would never admit it to anyone, not even to herself. She sometimes wonders if she did the right thing and if what she is doing is right, but these feelings are quickly turned to anger in a way of protecting herself. She tells herself she is furious for being kicked out of heaven and having her wings taken from her, for she really liked to fly, simply so that she does not have to admit it was her own fault. Deep down, she feels that she has taken this path and has to continue down it because she has no chance for redemption. She does not believe in second chances and she tells herself she doesn’t want one... but sometimes she questions herself on that. So she tells herself she hates everything good and orderly and that she loves chaos and destruction.

Charlotte Leitner was born into a large family that already had six children and before she could even talk, she was an attention whore, always trying to get all the attention from their parents and becoming furious whenever any one of her siblings got a sliver more than she did. Luckily for her, most of the time she did get most of the attention from her parents and she was more spoiled than any other one of her siblings - perk of being the youngest! Despite that her family always struggled as they grew up for money, clothing, etc because at the time it was hard to get by. Her family were peasants but Charlie always felt that she did not belong in her family and that she must have been switched at birth because she was positive she was actually a princess - her father telling her that she was one did not help with that conviction. So Charlie would scream and tantrum until she felt she was treated well enough for her standards, even if it meant everyone else in her family had to go without food for a day. She felt no attachment to her family, not her parents nor her siblings, and when one of her sisters died, she felt nothing for her.

When Charlotte had been 17, she had lived a queenly life, breaking the hearts of more boys than she could ever keep track of. But she wasn’t all evil. She wasn’t even really evil at all. She was spoiled yes, but she was really just a teenage girl who wanted to experience life to the fullest and to enjoy herself. She had a fiery personality and was known for being quite the minx... But life had not given her as much as she wanted. She wanted more. And she felt like she deserved more. So, in the hopes of an afterlife, Charlie took her own life when she was 17... And by some strange luck, Charlie was admitted into heaven as a guardian angel. Loving this new life, Charlie went off and decided she was going to take full advantage of her new abilities. She used her ability to be invisible to eves-drop on conversations. She threw herself into her training so that she could have a charge, thinking it might be awesome to have someone who was hers who she could watch over.

After about 70 years, Charlie finally got her wish, as she was want to, and was given Kristoff Lautner as her charge. She watched over him and loved to poke around in his life, playing with circumstances for her own amusement. Unfortunately, she went too far when her charge was in his late twenties. She got him killed... And got her wings ripped out for it. This made Charlie incredibly furious as she thought it was unfair and she went on a rampage as a fallen angel, going so far as to even kill innocent people and destroy the lives of others in an attempt to make herself feel better for what she felt was taken unrightfully from her. After forty years of the fallen angel stuck in a 17 year olds body rampaging around the country, she finally pushed it too far when she killed another fallen angel and was turned into demon. In truth, she likes this even less than being a fallen angel but she decided, what the heck! She was already doomed to hell! Why not take on the roll and enjoy herself!? So she threw herself into the role as demon, taking immense pleasure in being evil.
