"Overall, Miss Rowan is very subdued and shy. She enjoys the simple things in life, such as reading, drawing, and writing. When she is alone, she likes to sing. And too bad that she is so shy- she has a beautiful singing voice. She also likes school and learning. Rowan has an IQ of 153, which, according to the IQ test that the high school requires the pupils to take, names her as a "Genius". So needless to say, this girl is freaking brilliant. She runs track, despite her severe case of asthma; that only requires her to bring her inhaler. Some things she doesn't like are mean or rude people, and confrontation. She'll do almost anything to avoid a problem with someone. Heavy metal music annoys her, and so does messy rooms (sometimes she shows symptoms of having OCD, so everything must be perfect in any room she goes into.) She dislikes smoking, and dislikes the fact that Damon smokes even more. It is so bad for your body! Rowan doesn't like dressing too girly, because she just wants to be comfortable in the clothes she wears. And the thing she dislikes the most, is pretending to be human when she knows she's not. Some of her strengths are, the fact that she is from the Ellis family. They are well known and infamous for being powerful, so she considers that a strength. Being a part of the Ellis family, Rowan is a natural at fire taming. She is highly skilled and even impresses herself sometimes. She is ridiculously smart and uses that to her advantage. And she's mentally tough, and doesn't let people discourage her from anything. Just because she's shy doesn't mean she's a push-over.

With strengths, come weaknesses. The most important one is the fact that she is painfully shy and timid. The only time she isn't like this, is when she is around her family. Her asthma is a weakness, but she has her inhaler on hand, so she usually doesn't let it limit her experiences. Rowan keeps her emotions bottled up and doesn't really like to talk about her feelings much. She also will do anything for the sake of her family. As for habits- she stutters when she gets nervous. It's something she's tried to stop a long time, but hasn't been able to. She bites on a necklace if she is wearing one, and she's sucked her thumb since she was a toddler. It's a habit she doesn't really want to break, since sucking her thumb calms her down. Rowan is scared of confrontations with other people. And burning alive, which is rather ironic since she is a fire tamer. Another one is that she is scared to death of losing someone close to her, which is why she is so protective over them. A desire for her is to come out of her shell, and a secret is that she wishes she could be as amazing and perfect as her older sister, Aphrodite."

"Alastrina and Florentine were high school sweet hearts! The two eventually got married, and had a few kids. The last one they had was Rowan Allie Ellis. She was born into a family already consisting of the oldest Aphrodite, the oldest male Damon, then the youngest male Riley. Rowan was the baby of the family, and therefor spoiled. Her parents always wanted to buy her stuff, but she usually declined. Even at a young age, when other kids were screaming in the stores about wanting the entire toy aisle, she was content with buying just a pop-up book. She started to read before she went into kindergarten, then once they taught her how to write, she did that too.

The teachers noticed how she was a different child. Instead of wanting to play with the other kids on the play ground, she wanted to sit on the ground and write a story or color a picture. Rowan was often alone, and seemed perfectly content with it. At home, everything was different, though. She would chatter away to her siblings about what she wanted to draw a picture about, or how she wanted to go to the bookstore to buy a new coloring book. As she got older, this really didn't change much. Rowan still stayed the quiet girl in class, and the chatterbox at home. At the start of middle school, she was instructed to never tell about being a fire tamer. This disappointed her, since she thought being able to mess with fire was the coolest thing ever. With the help of her siblings, she was taught new and better techniques on her fire powers, and she realized that she was actually really good at it.

Rowan was perfect in school all through middle school and the first part of high school. She got straight A's and was on the honor roll list. She was even ranked the top student out of the entire school! In high school freshman year, they required every student to take an IQ test. When they got her results back, she was shocked. Her score was 153. This caught the attention of all the teachers, because according to the ranking scale, it considered Rowan a genius. As she got older, she started to look up to her sister more. She wished that she could be as beautiful and outgoing as Aphrodite. So now, here's Rowan, 16 years old and a Junior in high school, still idolizing her sister and being the shy little bookworm that she always is.
