OVERALL
Campbell is a creative young woman who is delicately lovely, with an older soul to her young twenty years. She is intelligent but can come off a little spinsterish to those who do not know her well. She is precise in how she approaches everything in her life and her world is filled with refinement, a love of cleanliness, hygiene and good order. She is conventional in most matters and reserved in how she socializes with others. Campbell is observant, sometimes shrewd, critically inclined especially to her own short comings, and extremely patient. She can sometimes come off as emotionally distant because she doesn’t like to bring her own problems to light. She shrinks away from committing to friendships and relationships with new people because she has things that she keeps buried deep in her.
Campbell doesn’t show a lot of outward emotions because she is afraid to give them away because she lacks the confidence in herself and her judgment. She is always conscious of her short comings in this world, in being practical, in being sophisticated and being out going. Campbell is apprehensive about herself and shows sympathy in a quiet reserve. People who don’t know her see an unassuming, outwardly, cheerful, and agreeable girl. But those who know her best know that she is sensible, discreet, well spoken, wise and occasionally witty. Campbell is understanding of other people’s problems and approaches them with a practicality that isn’t always used in her personal relationships.
Campbell is also an intellectually enquiring, methodical, logical, studious and teachable girl. She has an ingenuity that is matched with an ability to analyze any situation. Even with all of this Campbell is still timid, shy, and withdrawn. She is a homebody and likes activities that take place close to her home. Her room is a nest or a den of sorts existing as something that belongs to her not something to be showcased. She goes through periods where she likes to socialize and other times where isolation is best for her. Campbell can be a little untidy, sulky, moody and inclined to self pity because she has an inferiority complex. All in all Campbell is fairly easy to understand but hard to get to know. She is protective of her siblings and likes to stay close to home and to people she cares about.

OVERALL
Campbell was born to Harriet and Kaleb Garrett on July 7th 1992 at seven in the evening. Kaleb had been on his way home from a construction job he was at when he got the call on the way out the door. Because it wasn’t an easy pregnancy for Harriet, Kaleb left work in a hurt, as he was driving he met a railroad crossing with the bars down. When he saw no train he tried to maneuver around the barricades only to get stuck when the train came back, unable to get out of his car fast enough Kaleb was hit while in the car his death was instant. Harriet wasn’t told the news until after Campbell was born. Harriet was devastated when she got the news and decided to use the name that Kaleb had decided on for a child which was Campbell Arianna. When Campbell and Harriet were released two days later, Harriet had help from some family and friends who were in town to help plan the funeral and take care of Campbell. Campbell’s first year was rather uneventful until she started talking. By this point Harriet’s parents had left, and Harriet was on her own supporting a one year old daughter who she didn’t know what to do with. Without the people helping her Harriet fell into a depression so deep that she started drinking just to function during the day, Harriet was struggling and she started taking it out on Campbell abusing the young girl so severely that she was stuck at a point in her life that she wasn’t developing normally. She was withdrawing into herself more and more because even at such a young age she knew that she wasn’t wanted by her mother. When she turned three years old that was when things started to get really rough for Campbell.
Campbell wasn’t gaining weight anymore, she was actually losing weight despite all the time that she would spend drinking juice and eating. It was when her mother was fired, but still drinking heavily and Campbell symptoms were out of control. Harriet got mad one evening when Campbell was trying to get a snack before dinner and Harriet was so drunk that she beat Campbell into a bruised little pulp of a girl. Campbell came around long enough for Harriet to put her wrist onto the hot stove starting the young girl into a screaming fit that her half brother Nolan who was twelve at the time could hear her from the street. Nolan went to the neighbor’s house and called 911. Campbell was taken to the hospital and Harriett was sent to jail. Campbell would remain in the hospital for three weeks while they tried to find what was wrong with her and trying to find her a placement that was safe for her. When the hospital decided to test Campbell they soon came up with Type 1 Diabetes.
Harriet was trying to get her way out of prison while, social services worked on finding a home for Campbell. A month after Campbell’s diabetes was under control the Sutton family came forward requesting to take Campbell in. Jennifer and William Sutton were a lower middle class family with both of the parents as teachers. They were an older couple who had a nineteen year old daughter who was starting her first year of college and an adopted five year old, and an adopted two year old. The nineteen year old girl was named Hope because she was the first child the couple had managed to carry to term when Jennifer was thirty five years of age, but now the couple were getting to the age where bearing children was no longer a possibility so they adopted a new born African American boy who they named Julius, when he turned three they added a young Indian newborn girl who they named Coriander. Jennifer was volunteering at the hospital where they had been attending to Campbell and her troubles with healing from the burn and the trauma that caused the burn. The Sutton’s agreed to let Nolan continue to visit his half sister as long as she wanted him too.
Campbell’s life started to turn around but she never did open up like the family wanted her to do, she remained somewhat distant always quieter than her siblings. A short year after being diagnosed with diabetes, and being adopted by the Sutton’s Campbell was going to face her second major health concern. She was suffering from severe stomach pains and other gastric symptoms. When her symptoms didn’t go away after removing milk and eggs from her diet her doctor ordered a gluten sensitivity test. She came back extremely high on the sensitive side and was told that she had Celiac’s disease and should avoid gluten. It was at this point in Campbell’s life when the whole Sutton family made a changeover to a gluten free lifestyle so that they didn’t have to worry about contaminating anything of Campbell’s. Campbell being only four quickly adjusted to the new diet and when she started school when she was five she was careful about what she ate at school because of her prior problems with diet and her diabetes making her need to be careful.
When she turned six years the Sutton’s adopted a pair of twin boys who were of Asian descent. The boys were named Gerald and Steven and fit right in with the odd little family. Although this seemed to help Campbell open up some and bring out a fierce streak in her that the family did not know existed in her, Campbell was still the quiet one of her siblings. Preferring to stay out of the spot light but always protect her brothers and sisters. Campbell wasn’t informed of her biological mother’s release from prison but it didn’t matter. Though Campbell wasn’t growing up rich or anything like that she was happy with her modest wardrobe and various siblings.
Campbell made friends when she started school and the two girls who didn’t make fun of her flawed wrist are still her friends today. As far as school went with the exception of a few dates here and there Campbell didn’t do much. When Campbell was ten years old and had her diabetes under her control including when on her own without anyone’s help the Sutton’s saved up some money and allowed for Campbell to get an insulin pump. Though this limited some of the things that Campbell was supposed to do such as swimming she found that she liked the freedom of the pump better than having to keep track of everything for her diabetes. She did learn to take the responsibility of testing her blood sugar much more often than what she used to. She didn’t party like her friends would but she would tag along for the ride just because she knew they liked it when she went. She started covering up the scar on her wrist with bracelets and arm warmers so that no one had to see the scar that made her right hand so flawed.
Now at twenty Campbell has had two years off from school and is trying to find a focus in her life, even though she doesn’t quite know what she wants to do for sure. She figures that she had time to figure it out while taking culinary classes and trying to avoid taking public speaking because the idea makes her sick to her stomach.

RP SAMPLESupervisory Special Agent Dr. Spencer Reid looked at Brenda with a curious look on his face before his instant recall told him who she was. Spencer knew her name was Brenda Johnson, she was the deputy Chief. He didn’t know much more than that other than that she was an alpha personality, very unconventional and she was extremely smart. Spencer tried not to be intimidated by the woman in front of him, the woman who had a highly dominant, highly alpha personality. Spencer knew he was going to struggle now he was going to be in a room with two highly dominant people. Spencer wasn’t sure really what he was supposed to say but Hotch wanted to get in a good word with these people. So that when and hopefully only if they ever were needed there they could get in without much trouble, the BAU wasn’t around to make trouble. But it seemed to follow the team everywhere, it wasn’t really nearly as bad as people thought it was. They weren’t there to take the glory, they were there to help catch a criminal who had been evading police or whomever else was working on the case. Spencer knew many places felt a little threatened by the BAU which for the most part they understood. Spencer was still questioning his own genius a little bit but not as much as he was. He knew that the meeting of the guy who invented Nanovex kind of threw him off. The kid from Nanovex was so much younger than he was, probably only about seventeen or eighteen if Spencer had to guess.
Spencer was thirty years old now and he was doing what he loved to do. He had questioned that though because he remembered when he was younger how he was told he could do anything and there he was doing nothing extraordinary with his life. He questioned why he had stayed after Gideon had left, and why he hadn’t taken any of the other offers he had and then he realized it was because of his friends at the BAU. Friends like Emily, JJ, Morgan, Rossi, Penelope, and Hotch. Spencer looked at Brenda again and as always scanned through his brain for an appropriate number of words, an appropriate answer to her question. Spencer found the words that he decided were fitting enough for the situation ones that would keep him from getting into trouble and still answer the question without seeming like he was too nervous around her. He didn’t make eye contact as he started to speak to her his gaze pretty much landing around her only taking long enough to observe her but not build eye contact which made Spencer squirm if he did make eye contact.
”Yes ma’am, I am here to see Mr. Taylor as well along with Deputy Chief Johnson, I was sent in place of Aaron Hotchner from the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit to extend an offer of help should the occasion ever arise that you would need it. Not that we want you to have a serial killer mind you but it’s more of our way to say we are willing to help if you ever happen to need it” said Spencer moving his hands while he was talking because he had a really hard time holding still.
Spencer wasn’t aware that he looked like a kid, he’d just turned thirty, his friends had celebrated his birthday late because he hadn’t told them that they had missed it. He’d thought they’d remember it really but he wasn’t entirely worried about it. He also was glad that he didn’t have to wear that ridiculous hat that JJ liked to torture him with on his birthday. Spencer didn’t care for the hat but his friends seemed to think that he liked it so he just kind of went with it most of the time. Spencer didn’t have any idea that people still looked at him like he was a kid because of how he dressed or anything like that he continued to dress the same as he always had. He spent so much time around people who were used to him that some of his clothing choices went unnoticed unless Penelope decided that he was never allowed to wear a sweater vest and a shirt together ever again. It didn’t happen often but it did happen where she put her input in on his clothing.
Spencer reacted first when the door opened he watched as Makenna Taylor observed the two of them. Spencer was vaguely aware of the fact that he had a distracted little boy quality to him when Makenna Taylor was looking at him. What Spencer wasn’t aware of that at the same time he was building a profile on Makenna Taylor, Makenna Taylor was doing something similar to him. Spencer knew that was how people made first impressions built a profile off of what they had seen and hear from the person in front of them. Spencer had no idea that Makenna Taylor was starting to think that he was a goof off. And really if he had known that he wouldn’t have been surprised most people did. But despite the fact that Spencer looked like he’d be just a distracted child he was probably one of the most focused people on the BAU. He had some amazing instant recall and sometimes even though it needed help he could cipher out codes like it was nothing. Case and point being their copy cat of the Zodiac Killer.
Both of those men had been killers in that case, Caleb who had done the actual serial killer thing and Harvey who had been the dominant one in the first killing. Spencer had gotten through that case coming out realizing why he was with the FBI with some of Emily’s help telling him that he was doing some kind of good in the world. Somehow that was what Spencer needed to hear that he was making a difference somewhere, and that he had found a family. He still didn’t know how to cure schizophrenia which is what he had hoped to do originally, he had hoped to save his mother from her own mind. To give her some kind of a peace of mind but he wasn’t sure that was possible, her mind was too far gone without medications now. Spencer had grown up with the schizophrenia he had tried to raise himself and make it to where he wanted to be. Spencer finally listened to Makenna’s question and in true Spencer Reid fashion jumped right into getting things said that needed to be said at his break neck pace.
”Detective Makenna Taylor, I am Supervisory Special Agent Dr. Spencer Reid with the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit under Supervisory Special Agent Aaron Hotchner the Unit Chief of the Behavioral Analysis Unit. He apologizes for the fact that he could not make this visit himself but he needed to stay close to home because of his son Jack Hotchner coming down with varicella zoster virus and needing to be kept home from school” said Spencer his hands still moving while he spoke in a manner most people called stimming. ”Agent Hotchner sent me in his place to extend an offer of help should you ever need a profile made on a serial killer, serial rapist, kidnapper or any other kind of unsub that you are having troubles obtaining. And he asked me to tell you to never be afraid to ask us for help and that you can contact him directly or you can contact Agent Jennifer Jareau, or our technical analyst Penelope Garcia”
Spencer kept his hands to himself unless he knew the people well he didn’t like to be touch and he didn’t like touching. Spencer despite being a genius showed hints of schizophrenia but not enough to disrupt his daily life, major Aspergers but not to the point that he could be called autistic. Spencer was also a technophobe without email or the ipads preferring to do the work by hand on paper, germaphobic which went with the autistic tendencies and the obsessive compulsive disorder people seemed to think that he suffered from. Spencer had many of the common autistic tendencies, impaired eye contact which he was exhibiting as he spoke with Makenna Taylor because his eyes never once met Mac’s eyes or Brenda’s eyes when he was talking to her first. Spencer also bounced between stuttering, pausing and going for long periods of time without pausing at all while he spoke to people. In the case with both Brenda and Mac he had gone on for a few minutes without a pause really. Only stopping when what he wanted to get out was out. Spencer had no idea that he probably should have given this same speech to Brenda because she was the other person he was supposed to speak to. But Hotch had stated that he was to go right to Makenna Taylor’s office and offer their assistance if he would ever want it. This was only because the BAU knew that he had been struggling with a serial killer recently because they kept tabs on most serial killers and were building profiles just in case they would get called in. Spencer had done some research on both Makenna Taylor and Brenda Johnson before coming to speak with both of them.
He knew that Makenna Taylor ranked at Detective, first grade was formerly the head of the NYPD crime lab, supervisor of the CSI level 3 and that the man probably had a little bit of claustrophobia because the picture of his office in New York that Penelope had managed to find had glass walls in it and was transparent allowing for him to see all the way through his office so that he could see what was going on. Spencer had had Penelope pull a little information up on Brenda Johnson as well she was a Georgetown graduate, which wasn’t a bad school but Spencer would have been bored there, she’d worked with the CIA as an interrogator which he was pretty sure was classified information but Penelope still got into it somehow, worked with the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia for four years and spent three and a half with the Atlanta Police department, moved to the Los Angeles Police Department and was currently here. Spencer hadn’t asked for anymore though because he knew Penelope would have gone overboard. He just wanted some basic information so that he knew who he was talking to in a way so that he wasn’t stuttering like a moron.
Spencer knew in order to be taken seriously he needed to be calm and collected although he was still finding it hard to make eye contact. He could look at eye level of Makenna Taylor but not make eye contact with him. He could do the same with Brenda Johnson but he couldn’t meet her eyes with his. He was a little impaired in social cues but that was nothing that Spencer could help at all.
