STYLE Matthew is most commonly seen in a solid black teeshirt, always solid, and always black he only owns one shirt that's not black. Accompanied by a pair of baggy, typically stained and dirty, dark gray jeans. Never skinny jeans, always baggy. If he's not wearing a long sleeve shirt, his wrist are covered in wristbands. On colder days he wears a plain black pullover, though he does have a gray one he'll rarely opt for instead of his black one. His feet are covered in black socks, and some plain black converse, his converse tend to be scuffed with dirt, but plain, no writing on the toes or on the sides to decorate them.
Matthew puts very little work into his look, he does nothing he doesn't have too in the ways of his appearance. Dressing up for him would be something along the lines of making sure his hair was actually brushed instead of just sweeping it out of his hair, and wearing a pair of socks that didn't have holes in them if he knew he was going to take his shoes off.

Scared. Sdish might be a better word for it. After many years of abuse, Matthew very in tuned with his fight or flight senses and he always chooses too run since he's not strong enough too really fight. If he senses any type of fight he runs away. He doesn't talk too new people and he doesn't like to be in crowds. Shy. Matthew hates meeting new people, or being around people he doesn't know. Whenever he's in these sorts of situations, he tends to find a dark corner to nessle into and just watch the people around him.
Loyal. Matthew's had a bad history with people, there fore too have anyone close to him, is something in it's self that special. He trust those people with his life and they are his family. The few people he actual trust, he's loyal to totally he'd never question any of them if they asked him too do something. He'll stick up for them even if it means raising his own voice.
Twitchy. Matthew has a very hard time sitting still or being in one place for very long unless he's actually comfortable with where he is. If he's forced too stop moving, he freaks out and gets angry and will run away out of the room. Devoted. Matthew is the type when he starts something it gets finished. He never half way does anything. He devoted everything he has to his projects, to making the people he loves happy, and will stop at nothing when motovated.

Matthew was born to Thomas Bock, and Rebbecca Ford, saying that the two of them should never of had a child together is an understatement to the highest degree. Thomas was an friend of Rebbecca's estranged older brother, who'd shown up at the house to let her family know about the drug habit and debt that her brother owed him and from there it started. At first it started as a way for Rebbecca to get some drugs, just something to spice up the parties she was going to. He was ten years older than her but she wasn't in it for anything other than the drugs, of course until she couldn't pay Thomas and she joined the legions of girls that paid him in trade. It was under those circumstances that the two hooked up and made Matthew, and Thomas in a drunken rant decided to marry Rebbecca in order to pay off her brother and her own debt. This was where his life began.
An addict, and a drug dealing pimp, who could make better parents for a young child. Thomas first took his aggression out on Rebbecca for making the child and for marrying her, until Matthew was three years old when in Thomas' eyes he turned old enough to handle a beating. This lasted for two years until Matthew started school. His parents left a visible bruise on him. All it took from then on were the watchful eyes of one teacher and one question. Matthew was only five years old and didn't know anything so he told the truth. Thomas was sent away for five years, and Rebbecca was forced into rehab by the court ordered to get clean or go to jail with her husband. After this Matthew started his trip around the foster care system.
Matthew had always loved being outside, being around trees and fresh air. For his tenth birthday, he wanted to treat himself to this, so his foster family at the time agreed to let him choose his birthday present since they couldn't think of anything. He chose to go camping for a week in a spot in the middle of nowhere. On the first night of camping, his foster family gave Matthew a cake, and he received a new bike so he could explore the trails better. During that night after the adults had gone too sleep, Matthew's father found his way to their campground, and snuck into his tent, forced out into the middle of no where at gun point, he was tied to a tree and beaten senseless for the accusations he'd made against his father in court which had landed him in prison for the past five years. His father had grabbed Matthews bike, so his parents would assume he'd gone out exploring in the morning, and would come back later. During the day Matthew was punished, his final gift from his tenth birthday, was the cross his father wore, being burned into his skin. His father ran away when the sun started going away, it took two days for his family too find him. Matthew spent the next six months inside at all times, not speaking.
Matthew spent the next months silent to afraid to speak a single word since his father beat into him that it was his words that got him in trouble. His social worker, Tamera, decided too wait it out trying to see if keeping him in the same family will do him good. She waits a year before relocating him, and bouncing him around for months at a time, trying to find somewhere he'll speak again.
Matthew was placed with Katherine, the first night in her home goes along just like the others always have. Showing him the house, explaining things like chores, and how meals work. He takes everything in silently, not saying anything figuring he'd be moved why bother talking, his silence now more teen angst than fear as he's been constantly reassured that his father is not allowed to come near him and if does so he'll be sent to jail for the rest of his life. At dinner on that first night Katherine looked him in the eye, and told him he was welcome here, that she knew what had happened, and would wait until he was ready to talk, but assured him that she was there when he was ready. Less than two months later, after she tells him the same thing every night, he speaks for the first time. Slowly regaining his ability to speak. Life has been moving on from there.
