He treated Casi like shit, basically, but Cas always still tried to do everything he could to please Adrienne just to have any kind of affection or kindness from him. It's a sort of stockholm syndrome case for Casi. Adrienne just thinks of Casidhe as a toy that belongs to him.
- Can be added to and tweaked, and we can work more out on this once someone takes him ^.^
OVERALL
There's actually a lot of this that can be made up to a certain point. Mostly, just stick to the fact that in the 1200's he was a rich, powerful man, and a slave master. Namely, at that point, he was Casidhe's master.
- He named Casidhe when Casi was an infant when the batch of captured slaves came in. (Maybe he wasn't paying too much attention and thought Casi was a girl; maybe he was being a dick- doesn't matter)
- He did not notice that Cas existed beyond that point until Casidhe turned fourteen, because the slave women taking care of him kept him from sight.
- He very publicly vascetomized and raped Casi when Cas was fourteen. Those who watched consisted mostly of Adrienne's 'friends' and those from his household.
- He whored Casidhe out to pretty much anyone willing to pay, or because his 'friends' wanted something to play with. (When he wasn't messing with Casi himself)
- When Casi turned seventeen, he forced Casidhe to sell his soul and become an immortal. It was smart business to keep Cas young and pretty and less easily damaged. Plus, Casi was all too docile and willing. It was worth the risks.
I'd say that Adrienne was Casidhe's master for around two hundred years or so before the hunters came around.
"Hunters. They had taken from Casi, but he could never blame them for burning down Adrienne's household and everything -- everyone -- within it. Many of the older creatures that Adrienne had known were there, and it was simply too much for the hunters to give up. They had swarmed the place; a pack of them and took down so many of the unsuspecting supernaturals. There were good hunter losses in that, of course, and human losses that should never have been. Cas was only alive because none had thought that the slave they had torn screaming from the master's side would be anything but human. They had cut his (Casi's) throat and moved on as he bled out. But it hadn't killed him, and he'd crawled away from from the household as it was burning to the ground."
- We can work out how you'd like for Adrienne to have gotten away and all that. The only thing on this, is he'd have had to go into hiding for awhile; probably another country cut off from most others or something. Maybe until most of the hunters' decendants were killed or whatnot? Again, I'm not too bothered on how you decide to work that out, just figure out why he wouldn't have found out that Casidhe is still alive as well, since he was just as sure that Casi was killed as casi was sure Adrienne was.
OTHER STUFF
When the time comes, he will be needed to mess with Casidhe and be all possesive and such.
Um. I realize how totally fucked up this character is. Yikes. o.othough I sorta want to play him myself, but then I couldn't have the drama cause I can't post to myself.
And yes, I named him after the song, because when I started stalking Alex's voice after I decided to use him as a playby for Casidhe, I was stunned at how very well the song worked out for this relationship. So there you have it :]
