History can be anything you’d like, quite honestly. He should be at least 150 years old, if not older. Any of the immortal races would be fine.

Shane is going to need someone strong and independent that he himself can depend on. This will also need to be a dude that’s comfortable with his immortality, because Shane clearly is not.

Basically, Shane needs someone he can consider a friend. This is a dude that needs to be able to listen and be his ear, and in turn Shane will be his. Shane’s never really had anyone to relate to, seeing as he’s been around people that constantly worry over death.
Within their friendship, there will be the secret kept that this man is an enemy—a dark. Shane will be ever so slightly falling in love with this dude all along. The man will need to be quite patient with it, seeing as Mr. McLaggan is quite helter-skelter.
They’re going to wind up in some sort of relationship, but something little will happen—probably a slip of the tongue with the mention of the dark side. It’ll be enough to send Shane into his head and finding all the stuff that’s been hiding. For Shane, it’ll be the biggest ever stab in the back. He’ll freak, initially be all sorts of angry about the situation. There’s going to wind up being a fight, verbal that could even possibly go physical. Shane won’t mean much of it, really.
Anyway,Shane will probably spend an immense amount of time trying to get him back, or vice versa. They’ve got all the time in the world.
I’D BE INTERESTED IN HAVING AN EXISTING CHARACTER FILL THIS PLOT AS WELL. Also, before signing on to play him, we should sit and chat.
