CALLA LILY ELLIS !?
hey there! so, tell us all about you... let's start off with the basics. what do we need to know?
"-looks somewhere in space and then snaps head toward interviewer- Oh. Why starting this? -cracks knuckles- Let's do this thing! Okay so my name is Calla Lily Ellis and before you ask, no, I was not named after the flower. It was simply a case when my parents didn't think of how I could have been made fun of with my mind. I don't really care though. It's a pretty flower...yeah it's a funeral flower, but... -shrugs and looks in the distance for a second- WHAT! I"M HERE! Oh okay so alliance? Well my family is known for being on the dark side so I am too. I mean I don't care what humans do because they tend to annoy me so I guess I am on the dark side. I really don't know. I'm obviously a girl from my looks and name. I don't have many nicknames besides Cal, Callie, Cal Cal, C- dawg, and CC. Not man people address me by nicknames so yeah. I like guys and guys only. But after a few drinks it could become questionable, but it's like that for everyone right? Well good thing I don't drink a lot. Anyway I'm obviously a firetamer because I mean I'm an Ellis. Don't you know that the Ellis's are a huge firetamer family? I swear...okay so I miss anything? Age? I'm a good ole 25 year old."

"Okay so...I'm short standing 5'3" and I'm only 110 pounds. I'm small, but awesome all the same. People say that I look like some girl names Shenae Grimes, but I don't know how that is. Maybe she's from that one show...-bits lips and looks at the floor- Huh? What? Oh yeah so my eyes are brown. Almond shaped. Normal really. I actually love my hair. It's like a dark golden brown. It's hard to describe, but it can change to this light golden blonde or the dark golden brown. Either way I love it. It's awesome. It's thick and wavy. I usually don't spend time on it so it's just in that sexy messy look a lot. It's a medium length hitting to the end of my shoulder blades. My body type? Well I have long legs and gentle curves, but I don't really have any boobs. -looks down at chest and shrugs- Anyway, I have one tattoo, but they're a secret because I don't know if my parents would exactly approve of this tattoo. My one tattoo is a red rose on my lower back. It looks like this.. I don't regret it, It was my choice. I actually really like it. My style? It's more of a boho, natural style. I like wearing stuff with neutrals and feathers. I like wearing crop tops and shorts, but that doesn't make me a slut. It's just my style. So that's it? Awesome."

"My personality eh? Well hmm....how to describe myself. Well I'm an artist so I have a good eye for color and I'm creative. I love art, photos, the smell of vanilla, and sunshine. I like being a firetamer and being able to control fire. It's pretty much awesome. I love going to the beach and teasing my little sister, Darby. Playfully of course. She's so shy that I'm afraid that she'll hate me if I do it too much, but I doubt she will. I hate being interrupted with a burning passion. I mean seriously. Let me finish my sentence! I really hate when people ask me "Like the flower?" when I tell them my full name. It just reminds me that my parents hadn't taken the time to realize that they named me after a flower. -sigh- People often say that I have trouble focusing and I agree. I mean one time I.. -looks in the distance with interest and then shakes head to return to reality- See what I mean? I'm the biggest procrastinater you'll meet. I put everything off until the last minute. I'm incredibly stubborn and have a tendency of always wanting to be right. I hate other stubborn people too. I know it's stupid, but I do. Oh another thing I hate is stupid people. I don't like people that don't like art. Art is my love so I wouldn't really know what to talk about these people. Also I hate just bitches I guess. Everyone does though right? A secret? Umm...well let me think. I'm kind of boring so I don't have many. Well I dated someone that was more than ten years older than me once, but it only lasted a month. I ended it was I found out he had a wife and kids. I'm no home wrecker! Desire? To open an art gallery. A lot of people just want to find their soul mate, but I'm not one of those girls who are going to spend their time waiting for Prince Charming. If I happen to find this person then that's awesome, but I want to achieve my dreams before I do anything else. Really I don't need a guy in my life, but if one comes along I'll give it a shot. So...that's it."

So you wanna hear bout the ole history? Awesome. Okay well I'm the oldest in my family, but only by minutes. My twin Ashlin is the next in the line. Of course as Ellis's we started learning about controlling fire early. The Ellis family was always a strong family of fire tamers. I began making fire when I was about six or seven. I can't really remember. I just remember that my parents were really proud of me. Sure, it was average for an Ellis to make fire this quickly, but still it was impressive. I think Ashlin learned about the same age as me, but again I can't remember. I think Tullia learned early too, but again my memory is not letting me remember. Oh yeah I forgot to mention about Tullia. She was born when I was three. I never minded Tullia being there. Since I was born a twin I was used to the attention not all being on me so one more person didn't matter. The good thing was that even with three children my parents still found time for us all. It did help that we all knew how to be loud and say our opinions. I'd have to say that I'm pretty good at saying my opinion and making sure people hear it.
When I was about seven my mom had Darby. A cute girl really, but she didn't really talk. She was really quiet. Sometimes I even forgot she was there. I know that sounds bad but...-looks at nails and bits lips. Blinks and snaps head up- Sorry. Anyway, Darby was really quiet and barely talked at all. I ended up just getting used to it. School was fun. I always enjoyed the art projects and mine were always the best. No, I'm not being cocky. The teachers even said so, but subtly so the other kids wouldn't get offended or upset. I always did have a knack for art and stuff like that. I just knew which colors went with which. It was a gift really. I learned that I was actually pretty smart too. Sure, I had trouble focusing, but luckily Ashlin would fill me in and also I always was able to just learn it at home at my own speed so I'd have enough time to learn it with me getting distracted. So basically I excelled in school and I had friends, but I tended to get people angry with my stubbornness. I didn't really care though. I had enough friends not to mention my huge family. We all went to school together so we basically ran the school. Some people feared us while others like worshiped us. I found it funny at the time because we were all in elementary school. I never thought I'd be feared in elementary school.
Now by the time I made it to middle school I was already on the advanced practices of fire taming. Of course my parents were proud. I was learning quickly and well at that. They were also proud that I was doing so well in school and that I was so good at art. They praised me and encouraged me to keep doing my art. I found that guys started to like me too and it was exciting. Life was kind of awesome too. I mean I was popular, I had a lot of friends, guys liked me, but something was wrong. It was Darby. When I had made it into highschool she still hadn't made much progress in her fire. I don't even think she could make it yet. I don't remember, but it was weird. I just remember she was late. It wasn't normal. Children of the Ellis clan were always earlier, but Darby was late. I was worried for her and scared that maybe she would never learn fire. Sure, I blamed most things I did on her and teased her, but she was my sister. It was just playful. All siblings blamed things on other people and Darby was an easy target. Not my fault. But really I was just glad that she began talking. For sometime I thought she was just going to be mute her whole life.
Thankfully by the time Darby was 14 she could use and some what control her fire. That was...really late, but I was just thankful that she at least could control it. Sure, I was already on the advanced stuff by 14, but it was something. For Darby that is. As Darby grew I tried to help her, but she just seemed to lack emotion. What ever I did she just didn't seem like it made a difference. I even tried to get her into art, but she didn't seem like she liked it. So I just gave up on her and continued just work on my own art and fire taming abilities. People were starting to really see my talent and I liked that. I liked people acknowledging that I was good when it came to art. So then when I graduated from high school I got into this art school. I went and then I graduated from that too. I loved art school actually. I learned a lot. I learned things I never knew before and I'm thrilled with how far I've come. Now I'm living in my own apartment just trying to get my own art gallery going. It's awesome.
