DAMON TYLER EBERHART !?
'so now you're on your own, won't you come back home.'
'so now you're on your own, won't you come back home.'
hey there! so, tell us all about you... let's start off with the basics. what do we need to know?
" Need to know..? Not much I guess. My full name is Damon Tyler Eberhart. My friends call me Damie sometimes. I'm 19. And a boy- hopefully you can see that for yourself. Let's see here.. umm.. I'm straight, But girls are still a scarce thing to come by!
Anyway, the biggest trait I happen to have is that I'm not a human. I'm a.. mer..man? Yeah, it's pretty much the most embarrassing thing ever. Worse than bacne, or unibrows, or.. I'm getting off topic- sorry. Sooo, that's about it for the basics. I try not to let the merman thingy get out, so don't say anything please? "
so, a little birdy told me that you're pretty gorgeous... describe yourself.
" I'm not sure if I should be flattered or frightened by that comment, but I suppose I can try. For starters, people say I look like Josh Hutcherson, ALOT. I don't mind though, he's a pretty happening dude. Did you hear about his part in the Hunger Games movie? I can't wait- Oh, uh. I have dark brown hair, it looks pretty black, but gets lighter in the summer. It varies in length depending on me, but I usually keep it short.
My eyes are hazel, I get them from my mum. As for my body.. It's been through quite the transformation. I work out alot because I'm not the most secure fella around, but I'm not bulky. Nor do I have a six pack or anything.. I never take off my shirt though. Let's see.. average height- OH - I have a small scar near my left eye from my childhood, you can't really see it unless I point it out. That thing may be small, but it sure did hurt, let me tell ya.
One thing I am atleast a little confident in, is my style. I usually dress nice, or atleast no one has told me I dress bad. I like ties alot. (hint hint for birthday presents) But I don't know where I get my fashion sense from, my parents are hippies"
i'm sure that your personality is something else completely, tell me all about your self, can't wait to hear it!
" My personality isn't that great to be honest, not that many people get to know me in the first place. I'm incredibly shy, reserved, awkward, whatever you want to call it. I'm just not one of those super suave guys. I'm not like the guys in the movies.
My parents are crazy hippies, but I adore them. They're the only ones I trust with my secret. My mom is also a mermaid, so it's nice to go to her with my 'special' problems. We've had alot of good times.. singing and dancing in the woods, bon fires. I miss em. But instead of my past being a sulky sob story, my present is!
Although I don't talk to many people, I do have good qualities about me I guess. My mom told me I had the biggest heart she'd ever seen y'know? I don't know if it's true. I like to sing, and basically just the simpler things in life. I don't like drinking, drugs, smutty girls, or anything of that sort. Down to earth is how I was raised, and I want to stay pure. Poetry and writing are also some things I like, and when I'm to myself.. water.
But that's a touchy topic, emphasis on touchy. One drop will have me tail-born in a matter of seconds. I hate my tail, but more importantly, my powers. There is nothing I wouldn't give to be normal, to get a nice girl, and settle down. Yeah.. not happening. My worst fears are being discovered or shunned even more, obviously. There's only been three people to ever see my tail by the way.
My biggest secret would have to be... oh, eh.. I'm sort of a.. virgin. I can't tell you how horribly I got bullied for it in high school, but what's a guy supposed to do!? Since I've had to lie all my life, I guess you could say it's turned into a dirty habit. I make up stuff to make me seem not as insecure, but it always comes back to bite me in the tail.
*cringes* Bad joke? Yeah.. humor isn't my strong point haha.. ha. *clears throat* Moving on then. Strengths, weaknesses? Jesus.. um. I suppose I'm physically a strong guy, but I wouldn't harm a fly. So strong, but weak. That's one for both categories! Another strength.. ah, thick headed. I may be quiet and awkward, but I'm stubborn. I know what I need to do to get something, and no one can deter me elsewhere. I also think I'm a pretty intelligent, and observant guy. Quiet kids are always the ones who retain more, so guess I'm not excluded from that cliche.
As for weaknesses, where do I even start. My social skills, obviously, are *voice cracks* shaky.. at best. I have alot of love to give, if only I could start a relationship first. Also, I would count my tendency to be dishonest as a weakness. It hurts people, and ruins what little friend-base I have.
*sighs* Are we almost done here...? The war? Well, I don't know much about it. Humans are great, we shouldn't be trying to eradicate them. Not that a little merperson like me has any effect on the out-come, I just think it's ignorant. Religion? Well, I'm not sure. My parents told me to form my own opinions, but I do believe in a higher being over us. So that's that? I can leave now? No? ok.. "
i would love to hear about your past, i'm sure it's oh so interesting...
" *puppy dog eyes* Why do you sound so sarcastic..? ahem, well like I said, my past days were better days. My mom and dad are the best. Insane, but the best. I don't have any siblings. I was born in June, my mom called me June-bug alot, and I was raised in a rural town. Not many friends, and a whole lot of bullies at my hill billy school. There was this one girl though.. little Frankie. We were best friends, her daddy abused her, so she stayed with us alot.
I didn't develop my powers until I was about thirteen, so you can imagine it was a big shocker. Although I didn't know it, my mom revealed to me that she had the same things going on. So it wasn't as hard. I was pretty excited that I could swim alot faster, I loved the water dude. *looks down at the floor* So I took Frankie to the pond with me.. I showed her my tail. She ran home screaming, and told her daddy. I wasn't special, I was a freak.
I stayed at home more after that, and stayed clear away from water. My mom gave me tips on how to keep it away. I grew up in fear of my tail being seen. I didn't make friends. An' I'm still kinda in that funk, but without my parents by my side. I work odd jobs, and make fair pay, nothing special. I live with myself and Bessie, my lab. She likes to swim, go figure.
I think that's all I've got for you bub'. Pretty borin. "
who is the amazing mastermind behind the likes of you?
"
Howdy hey, it's mattay! Haha, hi, I'm Matt. Matty. Whatever you want to call me, I'm down with it. I'm 17, and I stumbled on your lovely site via.. via.. probably an ad somewhere I just can't seem to remember! Damon here is my first character, and I can't wait to be emerged into the site, hopefully I'll fit in wit' ch'all. Random fact, I love to talk, and I'll talk to anyone. I love sites where all the members are like bigdysfunctionalfamilies. "The sun singed angrily through the leaves of Ezra's tree, peeling his eyes open with a sense of haste. The beast seemed perplexed, something weighing on his heart. The hell did he have to do today..? It couldn't have been too important.. Stretching forth his lumbery fore-arms, he raked his claws down the bark of his tree. Ironically enough, he felt like seeking out ol' Pricey. <p>
He staggered to his feet lethargically. Drowsiness clouded his pale-green eyes as he surveyed his world. It'd been daylight for awhile now, but that didn't quicken his pace any further. To rush life was purely disrespect to its illustrator, like grandpappy always said. With that being said, the tiger'd already scaled out to the near ends of the branch. It arched under his weight, but he took no heed. <p>
For his attention was focused on the sky. Such a simple, dull word for such an extravagant place- he'd always thought. To live there was an honor he could only dream of. So constantly, he watched, with those same eyes he'd done the same thing with as a cub. The youth in his soul was pure. <p>
Just as he dragged his gaze away, a cacophony of hideous squawks and flapping cut the thin air. He cocked his head, and looked back to the sky, only to see a small flock panicking away. It wasn't out of the normal, but his stomach seemed to twist over it. Briefly he debated whether to nose in it or not, it wasn't his busin- Ezra lunged from his branch. <p>
Soft snow cushioned his fall as usual, but it was beginning to feel the effects of spring. Oh how the air smelled of the blooming times. That ever-so light smell. But he would have to cease to dwell on the thoughts of flowers, and trotted unto the trees. Visible for only mere seconds before he phased into the shadows. A swift spirit in the eyes of an untrained. <p>
To behold an assassin in his lonesome was quite a thing. To physically see something move so carelessly, yet gracefully. So powerful, yet soft as his feet kissed the soil. Ezra's eyes narrowed through the passing before him. He'd arrive at the bird's disturbance origin soon, although it was probably just a little squirrel fight, danger wasn't out of the question. <p>
Abruptly, his ears flicked back, and he ducked swiftly behind a tree. Shock lashed at his heart. How could he have been so careless as to not see that... thing. Struggling to keep his breath inaudible, Ezra peeked his head just slightly from the tree's trunk. He stared long and hard for he could not believe his eyes. A blue tiger. What sickness could have tainted him? Further investigation was only mandatory. He lunged up the trunk, and into its comforting branches. <p>
A chuff from the male sent electricity through Ezra's spine. This beast had spotted him..! Ezra jerked back, only to see the blue one walk further away from him. He hadn't been spotted.. relief was a blessed gift. With a deeper sense of caution, Ezra inched carefully down the branch. He ducked his head under the leaves above him, but could still only make out the bottom half of what seemed to be another tiger.. <p>
<font color=000000>"Who are you?"</font> A question he couldn't have asked better himself. Tigers he didn't know about, a blue one for that.. This was beyond odd. <font color=000000>"But my name is Price"</font> Shit just got real (had to). Dazed and confused was an understatement for Ezra. They didn't seem to know eachother, but he didn't too well like the idea of Price telling him about their plans. Jealously was in question, I'll leave it at that. <p>
Holding his tongue at the mention of his name, Ezra set the scene. Ever so gently, he made backward steps towards the base of the tree. Refraining to not rustle the leaves above him was an incredible task, but he managed to get off scott-free. Utilizing the same elegance he'd used in pursuit, he dismounted the tree, and in the same motion swirled around its trunk to face the two. <p>
His gaze shot straight to Price, and although stayed only briefly, he made sure she knew of his displeasure. They then landed on the blue fellow, sinking into seemingly ever pore the male possessed. Not. Happy. Sternly, Ezra approached the two, and stood aside so they could all at the same time talk face-to-face. He did realize he'd cut off a question, but he would have to take the scold for it later. <font color=000000>"Let's not be TOO trusting ere' Price... "</font> He said in a low growl, sizing up the bigger male carefully. <font color=000000>"The hell is up with that fur?"</font>Ezra wasn't always blunt, but to people he didn't particularly like. Why not. <p>
He wasn't about to prance into the ranks without a tough time. Ezra would make sure of it..
