[/blockquote][/justify]Meet Curtis Winchester. A twenty two year old Immortal. He just recently sold his soul to the devil and it still getting used to things. His play by is Jack O'Conell. And if you play Curtis you get to have freedom on his personality and past.
On the first impression he seems to be the sweetest thing alive. Sadly, that is nothing like his personality. Curtis, or Curt is an assassin sent to kill Ryland. Hired by none other than her own aunt. Her aunt realized going straight for the kill was what Ryland expected so she made a plan with Curt to charm her niece, then kill her. Curtis was paid to move to Manuka and perfectly plan a meeting with Ryland. Follow her and study her daily activities. Sooner or later he learns her quirks and her overall personality. He has been following her the full time she has been in Manuka. Now he's decided it is about time to go out on the mission. He accidentally bumps into her and they begin talking. He ask her out on a date and another date. And another. The first few times he is revolted by her personality, but he can't deny she is beautiful. Ryland doesn't date, so it's all new to her and she grows feelings for him as expected. Curt's actual personality is very cold, he was trained to kill and not have emotions. He doesn't like everyday things, he loves his job and that is it. But for this assignment, he had to pretend to like everything Ryland enjoyed and even speak like her. Pretend he was from New York as well. Just totally trick her. Even though Curtis is totally faking everything he is doing, he finds himself actually growing to like the girl.
They continue to date, and Curtis realizes he actually cares for her. Sees she is actually a really good person and wants to enjoy life. She doesn't deserve to die so cruelly, just because her aunt was too selfish and ignorant. Curt decides to go a different path, but still stay true to his true path. Instead of actually killing the girl he grew to love, he was going to drive her to kill herself. Even though that pained him the most. So, he begins to beat her. Ryland usually is quick to attack anyone who tries to hit her, but at this point it just shocked her and she loved Curt so she couldn't possibly hit him back. Ryland begins leaving the house with black eyes and scratches. No one finds it out of the ordinary except for the ones close to her. Curtis tries not to hurt her too bad and he's crying every time he does it. He won't just out of no where hit her, he'll purposely try and pick arguments with her and pretend to get angry, and swing at her. Full blown punches and choking her mostly until she passes out.
Ryland doesn't end up killing herself. She just takes the beatings. Hoping he'll just stop. Ryland is just so confused at this point. Curtis does get many calls from Ryland's aunt asking if she is killed yet. Curt's own life is on the line if Ryland isn't killed by the end of the year. So he sadly realizes his plan is not working and actually tries to kill her. Which I will discuss with whoever takes him how that will turn out :3 So any takers.

Okay, so you know how Ryland's aunt is trying to kill her and keeps hiring assasins? I was thinking she hires one to make Ryland fall in love with. But he kind of falls in love with her too (but he can't abandon his job), so instead of killing her he beats her. Regularly. Hoping Ryland would just get depressed and kill herself or something. The plot isn't all thought together though... I'm still trying to fill in the big gaps and important details.
