•• It was a beautiful night, the stars winking high up in the clear fall sky, just beckoning to her, calling to her. The air was crisp and clear, the scent of pine cones burning in the fireplace next door adding a nice spice. She wished she was out there, in the night, hidden by shadow; shadows, the comfortable blanket of darkness. Outside, in the dark, she felt free, comfortable, at home. Out there, she was the hunter and everyone else was prey. The night was her element, the shadows her friends, the stars her spotlight. She wanted to get out there… Now… But unfortunately… she was inside… Yup. Dressed in a lab coat, latex gloves on her hands, one of the creatures of the night was stuck in a forensic lab, pouring over a cadaver and recording notes in a small, neat handwriting on a notepad held in one arm. Light green eyes flickered over the body before her, analyzing the drop in temperature, the color change, the bruising, looking at the x-rays. A sigh of defeat left slightly parted lips, blonde hair pushed back, tucked behind a left ear. I think I’m going to call it a night. I’m not getting anywhere with this… I’ve got too much on my mind…
•• Moving to her laptop, Lillian Montagu touched the track pad, bringing the screen to life. A face appeared. “Calling it a night Lilly?” a voice asked over the speakers. With a sigh, Lilly responded with a nod, “Yeah. I need some fresh air. I’ll be back in the morning and have the report ready for you.” The male head nodded on the screen, “I’ll expect the usual mind-blowing break through I guess. Do you know how she was killed yet?” Rolling her eyed, Lilly arched an eyebrow at the laptop and then smiled an un-amused smile, “She was hit with a blunt instrument in the head, probably some kind of lithium bar from the looks of it and according to the particles I found, before being raped. Luckily she was unconscious for that. She died from blood loss. But as I said, I’ll have the report in tomorrow.” The man in the screen, appearing to get the message, disappeared, the video camera closing. Snapping the little macbook air shut, Lilly stowed it in her bag along with her notes and prepared to leave. Once finished, her gloves removed, lab coat put neatly away, she slung her bag over her shoulder… and left. •• Some found it odd that a vampire would consider a career in forensics, but it really fascinated her… And discovering how someone died was just interesting to her. She loved using her imagination and smarts to put together the puzzle pieces and discover how a person died. Perhaps to some it was depressing, disgusting… she thought it was fascinating. It was also something to distract herself with, something she could focus all her thoughts around. And usually it worked quite well… But today… She just hadn’t been able to focus on the project before her like she usually could. Her thoughts kept turning to dark things, her own past… the fact that she remembered nothing from before becoming a vampire… the horrors and degenerating things she had gone through… the rape she had experienced mere months ago… Light green eyes flashed and then darkened. Lilly had grown to the point where she almost hated men. She didn’t trust them, that was for sure. They were controlled by mere primitive urges… they were vulgar… and they were abusive. She felt anger towards men… for what they had done to her… but also for the fear the members of the opposite sex stronger than she was created in her. She hated feeling fear. It made her feel… weak… So she convinced herself it was purely hate. •• The moment Lillian was outside, the fresh air was like ice water being thrown into her face to her senses; her mind instantly became alert, her pupils dilating to adjust to the darkness, her ears listening more intently for any noises that might hint at a presence other than her own, analyzing her surroundings. But at the same time, a slow ease in the tension of her muscles showed that she had relaxed. She was away from the cold, empty lab. Thusly, dressed in black knee-high boots with two-and-a-half-inch heels, black skinny jeans, a white tube top with a black top over it, and a small black belt around her waist, nails painted dark red, Lilly headed out into the night. Her blonde hair fell around her face in ringlets, framing her face in gold. A small smile appeared on her face. She was going to go have a little fun. Hunting. The adrenaline rush of the scent of blood. It was exactly what she needed right now. The thrill of the hunt. But she preferred her food served to her rather than having to chace it through the woods or anything like that. The very thought of blood made her canines sharpen to fine points that created little indents on her lower lip before she pushed back the sensation. No need to scare her prey off right off the bat by showing them what she truly was; a vampire, a child of the night so to say. •• Lilly drove from her work for about ten minutes in her shiny red Ferrari 360 spider convertible before stopping outside a bar. Locking the car, clicking the button on the key twice to make the car beep softly to make sure it was locked, Lilly headed into the bar, slipping into the throng of people. First thing she did was situate herself on a stool at the bar, ordering a chocolate martini from the bar tender, and then survey the humans around her, ignoring the supernaturals for now, looking for a potential candidate to be her victim of the night. No one jumped out at her right off the bat but she decided to be patient and wait. Someone would show up eventually who would suite her fancy and it was still not too late, just a little past ten. Flipping her blonde hair over her shoulder, Lilly continued to survey the crowd building in the most popular bar of the area from over the rim of her martini class as she took another sip. Her gaze flickered toward a group of men who were clearly drunk and kept casting glances in her direction. Her eyes flickered over them; none of them were in the least bit attractive to her… but on the other hand, she was an incredibly picky person. They appeared to be trying to get one of their members to go talk to her from what she could hear. She fought the urge to wrinkle her nose in disgust. Men. She turned her back on them, hoping to give them the message that she was anything but interested. •• Unfortunately, they didn’t seem to and Lilly felt a hand fall on her shoulder, fingers tightening on her shoulder to force her to turn and face whoever it was. It wasn’t an aggressive touch, just rather insistent, but to Lilly, it felt domineering and controlling… She turned to face her aggressor, meeting the man’s cloudy drunken haze with her steely green gaze. “Please let go of me,” she said, her tone emotionless but not unfriendly necessarily, but using her slight control of minds, she practically screamed at the man to ‘get his filthy hands of her.’ His hand dropped almost instantly and he looked at her, appearing startled, and then Lilly controlled him enough to send him walking back to his friends. She didn’t prefer women over men when it came to feeding necessarily… she just preferred attractive people as her meal… and people who didn’t smell like cheap booze and meth. words // 1265 // outfit // clicky // tagged // lilly/kat boy with a coin, T H E N M A K I N G A W I S H , A N D T O S S E D I N T H E S E A Dolling herself up was probably the most fun part of Helena's day. It seemed kind of surreal, as when she was human she had never had the chance to dress up to go anywhere, and now she had to wear these cute little dresses and heels and lipstick to go out to a club. It seemed a little far fetched now, but all this modern stuff made her look good, she knew it and she flaunted it. However, right now she was just a little preoccupied with a misbehaving 'servant' of sorts. Her icy blue eyes flashed in anger, and mild hatred for the man; Carl was his name. She didn't appreciate a person that could not do what he was told. Her lips were pressed tightly into a line as she looked at him, her arms crossed on her chest as he looked upon her in fear. He was a mere warlock, and he couldn't give what what she had asked for and that made her angry. Could she not rely on anyone to get things done? Apparently not. She moved closer to him, so that their faces were about an inch apart. "I am giving you another chance to prove your worth Carl, don't fuck it up or your pretty little throat will be pretty no more." Her words were calm, but ice cold, with a cutting edge and she knew that it would send fear down his spine. He knew that she kept to her word.
Helena saw him gulp and that brought amusement to her. She knew that what she had asked for was difficult, but it didn't mean that it can't be done and if Carl was not willing to do it, she would find someone else but he would not be let go unpunished for his laziness. He looked at her with his wide eyes, pleading with her and she didn't give a shit at that, moving a few steps back she ran a hand through carefully done up hair and licked her red lips. "I'll be back the same time next week, if it isn't done by then, your throat is mine and I never go back on my word, do you understand?" She saw him nod and gulp again, and a smirk played around her perfectly made up lips. She didn't say anything before turning around and leaving his home, and into the night air. She raised her head up a bit to look at the sky. Helena breathed the clean air in, scents of a million things hitting her nostrils as she wrinkled her nose. Sometimes being a vampire didn't help, as their senses were enhanced many of the unclean things were more prominent and Helena hated being able to smell all the shit in the streets so clearly.
Lena was already dressed up, and Carl's house was on the way to the club. Her dark honey coloured hair hung loose down her back, she wore only a black dress with no jacket as she didn't need one, it was not cold to her. Her red heels made her legs look long and sexy, and her lips and nail were painted bright red. She felt sorry for any poor sod that fell for that, as by the end of the night she knew that they would have their lives no longer. With a satisfied smile she decided to walk the rest of the way to the club; her car had been parked a couple of streets before Carl's house, and she wished to walk anyway. Her dress flowed around her with every step she took, the soft material soothing on her bare skin. Her heels were not the only sound that she could hear as she walked along the pavement, but that was always the case because her extra senses always required her to hear more, to see and smell and feel more than the average person and as used to it as Helena was, there were things that she more than didn't want to hear, notice, smell or see. Enhanced senses weren't always as amazing as everyone thought they were.
Lena smiled at the guard by the door, flashing her perfect white fangs at him and earning a smile. She loved to tease the men, it was always so much fun giving then false hope and then forgetting about them. She walked into the club, the music loud in her ears as she confidently strutted in through the throngs of people, her lithe body pushing through the crowds. She felt hands on her, other people's clothes as well as breaths on her neck as she stopped in the middle of the dance floor to dance with a few strangers. She raised her arms above her head, swaying to the music, feeling male hands on her hips as the male was grinding against her. She turned around to face him, looking at him from under her lashed as he smiled at her in a way which he thought was 'sexy'. As if. She leaned in close to his ears, and smirked. "You don't have a chance, so go find someone less out of your league." That was when she escaped his grasp and her eyes caught onto the sight at the bar. The guy that was harassing the blond girl made Lena smile, as she had such experiences before.
He was a human, there was no doubt about it and as he walked back to his friends, Lena felt her lips contort into a sexy smirk. She walked over the the men, looking all shy and modest, however she made sure that her blue eyes would caught onto the eyes of the blond girl. Helena cared none for the girl, however she could see that she was like her and she would show her how it was done without raising a scene. Her head moved in a motion that told the girl to come closer, and she turned towards the human. She leaned in near his neck, breathing in his scent as the sweet liquid was running in his veins and she smiled at him, as his eyes were hooded with lust. She could hear his friends urging him on, but she leaned close to his ear. "How about we take it outside, hm pretty boy?" She took him by the hand, but looked back to see if the blond girl was following, because after all, she would have to learn from the best. She smiled at her a knowing smile before turning back around and leading the man with her.
Once they were outside, she led him to the alley before she was against the wall and his lips were on hers. She kissed him for less than a second before she moved away, and she was the one pressing him against the wall. She looked up at him, "Mmmm, you smell so good. Her voice was a seductive murmur before she moved in to 'kiss' his neck, and in turn her fangs had already extended. Then she bit. And she made sure it hurt. She heard him whimper in pain as she dragged his sweet essence from him through two holes that would not get her dirty in the least. He screamed, but his screams died on his lips as his life was sucked out of him painfully by her, and when she was done, the lifeless body was limp against the wall. She let go of it, before she let it flop to the floor. With a satisfied smirk, she wiped her mouth, before she turned around. notes // woooooo excited.com! |

•• Lilly had noticed the other vampire the moment she came into the bar but hadn’t paid her that much attention. Her gaze did flicker in her direction as she saw her move onto the dance floor, feeling slightly curious. She found herself a little envious of the confidence the other vampire was clearly radiating; just from how she held herself, it was clear to Lilly that the other vampire was completely aware of the power she held over most of the opposite sex and enjoyed it. And she’s beautiful too…
As her green gaze flickered over the people in the bar, she found them returning to the vampire a few times, finding herself curious as to who she was. She certainly had never encountered her here before… but then again, she didn’t come here all that often. But then Lilly was distracted by the hand that fell on her shoulder. At the touch, her entire body stiffened, the other vampire forgotten for the time being as she was turned to face the human before her. Dirty blonde hair that was almost brown… Average hazel eyes… Average all over in general for a human. Her eyes flickered over him once as she sent him away. Like you ever had a chance with me. Hmph. I’m way out of your league. •• But was that really true? Recently, ever since it happened to her, Lilly had started to doubt herself; how attractive she was especially. A few years ago, she would have scoffed at the idea. But if one thing had happened to her besides her distrust of men, it was that her confidence had been cracked. And since she didn’t radiate the confidence she used to, it seemed that not as many men were drawn to her, and those that were… weren’t as good as the ones that used to be. She had seen how almost ever male eye in the bar had turned to the other vampire as she had entered. Did I ever have that? Or was I delusional and was full of myself? The questions. The doubt. Shaking her head, Lilly took another sip of her drink and then found her gaze flickering to find the other vampire again… And found herself to be quite surprised to see the other vampire lock her blue eyes with her green ones… and then motion with her head for her to come closer and then turned toward the human she had just sent away. Lilly sat on her seat, wondering what the other vampire was doing, but finding herself slightly pleased that she had noticed her. •• With curiosity, Lilly watched her as she reached the human and leaned in toward his neck and then smiled at him before leaning in close to whisper something into his ear that Lilly could not hear from where she was. Lilly got up off her seat as the other vampire took the human’s hand and glanced in her direction, casting her a knowing smile before turning back and leading the man away. Lilly followed them, moving her way through the crowd toward them, her curiosity getting the better of her. She shifted her way through people, ignoring any remarks thrown at her, whether they were cat calls to get her to come over or complaints as she walked straight by without a glance in their direction. The moment she stepped out into the fresh air outside of the bar by the alley, Lilly hesitated. She suddenly felt herself feel fear build up in her, flashes of a scene appearing in her eyes of people she did not recognize. Shaking her head to clear the weird nostalgia that had fallen over her – she didn’t know it but it had been a flash of her last hour as a human – she looked around for the other vampire again. •• She saw them against the wall, his lips against hers, she with her back to the wall but suddenly she moved away and then was the one pressing him against the wall. She found herself quite taken once again. The female vampire wasn’t just confident; she radiated a sense of control and power that she didn’t appear to let any man take from her. She wished she could be like that. It would make her life so much easier. But she found herself not just wishing to be a little like the other vampire, she found herself even slightly attracted to the other vampire. Lilly watched as the vampire with the honey colored hair bit the human and began to drain him, surprised but pleased that she didn’t seem to be doing it gently. She was sucking him dry, taking his life essence into her own body and making the human, in his last few moments, realize that he was going to die, realize that she was taking his life. He screamed, but it died very quickly and once the other vampire was done, he dropped lifelessly to the floor. Pitiful… But then again, they always are when we take their life away.•• When the vampire turned to her, Lilly found herself feeling quite inferior to the other vampire and not quite sure what to say or what to do. The other vampire had motioned for her to follow, but she wasn’t quite sure why. Had she wanted to show her something? Tell her something? Lilly’s silence was short before she gave the other vampire a cool smile, forcing her discomfort away, even though some of her shyness probably remained for someone who looked for it, “Well… That was done quite well. You sure seem to know how to handle them.” She felt slightly stupid for saying that. How lame did that sound? It made her sound like a newborn vampire who had no idea what she was doing. She missed her cool collectedness, her confidence. “Why did you want me to follow you?” she asked quickly, hoping that the other vampire wouldn’t sneer at her and leave. She was curious to know who she was… but she also didn’t feel comfortable asking since it showed she was interested in getting to know the other vampire and she doubted the other vampire held any such similar interests. words // enough // outfit // clicky // tagged // lilly/kat boy with a coin, T H E N M A K I N G A W I S H , A N D T O S S E D I N T H E S E A It was really quite rare for Helena not to attract attention when she walked into a club. Not because she was beautiful, which she knew she was, it was because she walked around with a confidence, and air of darkness and mystery about her so she usually picked up people's curiosity. She had the men eating out of the palm of her hand with her liquid movements, her flirtatious words and the way she was able to give them all the attention that they craved. She was a predator chasing its prey, and she liked to play with her food. So, the poor sod that was tormenting the other vampire girl was perfect. Helena figured that she could learn a thing or two from Lena, and that was the main reason why she had beckoned the girl to watch her kill that bastard; to show her how it's done. The body fell to the floor, limp and lifeless and she made sure that there was no blood on her lips as her fangs retracted. She saw the girls standing there, and a sexy smirk graced her porcelain features.
“Well… That was done quite well. You sure seem to know how to handle them.” She acknowledged the words that the girl spoke with a clear expression, and the only thing that gave her away was the amused quirk of her lips as she re applied the lipstick that was left on the mans neck. She licked her perfectly red lips then, not in a seductive way, but just out of habit. To make sure there were no traces of him left on her; she hated it when there was blood on her. Made her look messy, like she was inexperienced and Lena never allowed that. Her blue eyes looked at the blond girl before her. She noticed that the girl was attractive, with soft blond hair and bright green eyes. Her exterior gave out a look of innocence, much like Lena's own look most of the time, yet the only difference was that this girl was probably not a cruel and heartless murdered like Helena was. That made her amused, how two things that were so similar could be so different.
She acknowledged the girls words with a small nod before hearing what she had to say next. Ah, of course. She was so interested in the mystery that Lena had presented her with. Maybe that was the only reason she came. The vampire would not have been bothered if she hadn't followed her, if only because she would still have had her dinner. It made no difference, and it wasn't like she cared. “Why did you want me to follow you?” Such a simple, trivial question requiring a rather complicated answer. Or not. Lena straightened her dress before walking closer to the blond woman. Helena's voice was cold, and sounded amused at the girls stupidity. Because anyone with half a brain would have known the reason behind her actions. She let out a soft chuckle before speaking. "Well, why do you think?" She inquired, turning the question back onto the girl. She glanced back at the body pointedly, and shrugged. "He was giving you shit, I merely wanted to show you how to deal with such scum." Her smirk became more prominent as she walked over to the body and kicked the now dead man. "I was showing you how to give him what he deserves." Her bright blue eyes were back on the girl, watching her, taking her in.
Helena tucked a strand of honey coloured hair behind her ear. She rested her hands on her hips, a smile now on her lips. "Oh, wait. Don't tell me. You're one of those vampires who kill and then feel guilty. Then go home and cry because they are such monsters." She laughed out loud at this, because she probably was right. After all, the girl couldn't even get a stupid human off of her back without making a scene! She could have at least kicked him where it hurts! But no, Helena hated people like that. The ones that killed and thought themselves as victims. She had never done that, she had always killed and found a thrill in it. It made her happy, satisfied, and as long as it hurt she did well. Oh how she loved it when it hurt! They squirmed, and screamed, but in the end she was the one with the power. And in the end, she was the one feasting on them. That made her a monster, but she would never ever feel guilty about it.
She was right in front of the girl now, her face inches from her own. She raised her hand, and traced her fingers down the girls cheek. Yes, that was forward. No, she was not trying to be sexual with her. She was just trying to show her that deception was so so much more fun! "Think of the thrill! Of looking to beautiful, and innocent but being a venomous snake underneath! Doesn't that thrill you? Doesn't it make you wand bloodshed?" Her questions were a little more than a whisper, completely serious. If she girl denied any of her claims Helena would leave and never think back on this, but if she agreed, oh how much fun she would have! Helena was pretty sure that all vampires like her needed was a little guidance from a person stronger than them, and that was what Helena was. All she had to do now, was wait and see what she had to say. She moved away, biting her bottom lip softly, her blue eyes boring into hers willing her into Lena's way of life. The dark side was always much more fun. notes // woooooo excited.com! |

•• Unlike most other vampires it seemed, Lilly had never been taught her full capabilities or really anything about what she had become. She hadn’t felt comfortable asking either since it made her seem incredibly stupid. Everything she knew she had learned through experience and little bits she had caught and learned through casual comments in a conversation. She hadn’t had someone to show her how it was done, no one to show her how to hunt or to teach her the draw-backs and dangers to her kind or what she was capable of. She wasn’t sure if this was a normal thing for vampires, but from what she could tell, the vampire that had turned them tended to also mentor them on those small things. It had only been recently that these weaknesses in her lack of confidence and lack of knowledge on her own kind had really dawned on her. She barely knew a damn thing, much less how to be the powerful creature that the vampire before her was as she drained the life out of the human. The other vampire made it look like a game, something she enjoyed while Lilly felt like it was more like a struggle she had to go through to survive.
•• Lilly did not have a problem killing. That wasn’t the problem. She was a predator who had to live off of blood to survive. Fighting it would be like a lion wanting to become a vegetarian. It was unnatural. Having no memory of her human life helped as well seeing as she could not relate to the humans that walked around. She had no memory of being a human. For as long as she could remember she had been a predator and humans had been her prey. Anything else was abnormal. But then what was her problem? Was it just confidence? Was that her only problem? She doubted it. She had a ton of problems. She was probably the only vampire in the area who was so clueless to her own nature and had yet been a vampire for over a century. Perhaps that was why she had followed the other vampire outside, hoping to be able to learn something from her, and watched her intently as she made her kill, draining the human of his blood, making it look almost… fun? She certainly wished she could do it like that. Once again, she found herself drawn to the other vampire, wanting to be more like her, while at the same time finding herself also wanting to get to know her better.
•• Green eyes watched as the body fell to the floor, limp and lifeless, before they raised to look at the other vampire. The other vampire gaze her a smirk, a facial expression that looked hideous on most people but this vampire still managed to be a stunning beauty. I wish I looked like that, she thought unhappily. She opened her mouth to speak, instantly regretting the words that left her though as they sounded dumb to her. She noted the amused quick to the other vampire’s lips as she reapplied her lipstick, feeling embarrassed and quickly asking her next question… which was apparently no better than her first comment. Lilly watched as the other vampire straightened her dress and then began to walk closer to her, her voice cold and yet amused as she spoke – her mouth refused to open and respond to her question though. Lilly found an inner struggle in her as one part of her wanted to crawl up in a hole and the other wanted to put on the charade if confidence and power that she had been doing for so long up until now. The other vampire intimidated her even as she lured her in. Once again, in the back of her mind Lilly acknowledged that’s he wanted to be able to do that.
•• As the other vampire neared, Lilly became more aware of just how pretty the other vampire was; red lips, complementing black dress, honey-colored hair, blue eyes. She could easily have been one of the most beautiful vampires she had ever met. When Lilly finally seemed to find the ability to speak again, the other vampire spoke before a sound could leave her lips, shrugging in the direction of the dead human. Ah. So it had been to teach her. She found herself surprised. She remained silent then as the other vampire spoke, not wanting to be mean and interrupt her or something since she seemed to actually be interested in teaching her something… and Lilly really needed someone to show her how it was done, so to say. She watched as the other vampire kicked the human, looking at the normal human, now dead, hazel eyes closed, dirty blonde hair dirtied by the filth on the floor of the alley. She was once again struck by just how pitiful he looked after what the other vampire had done to him. Feeling the other vampire’s gaze on her again though, she lifted her green ones to meet hers, remaining quiet still, unsure of what to say. She disliked this new feeling she felt of being unsure of what to say or do. What did the other vampire want from her? What did she expect her to do?
•• As the other vampire spoke again though, tucking her honey colored hair behind her ear and then testing her hands on her hips, a smile now on her lips, and spoke, Lilly shook her head and rolled her eyes, finally finding her ability to speak again, “As if, he’s food. I don’t believe the cat feels guilt when she kills her prey so why should I be, or any vampire for that fact?” she said softly. Whether that was the right thing to say, she would have to find out, but she wanted to make clear she wasn’t one of “those vampires.” It was odd… but she didn’t want the other vampire to think less of her than she already probably did. And Lilly didn’t usually care what other people thought of her. Her main problem was just that she didn’t feel that thrill in the kill that she probably should be feeling. For her it was like just going to the bar, finding a suitable candidate, and then feeding and leaving him behind. It was something she had to do to survive. But perhaps that could change with time? The dark side had always been alluring to Lilly even as the light made her sneer, but for the longest time now, she had never been really pulled one way or the other… All she really needed, she hoped, was a little push in the right direction.
•• When the other vampire was right in front of Lilly, their faces only inches apart, the blonde’s breathe caught, her green eyes widening slightly as they gazed at the other vampire. Her skin tingled where the other vampire had run her fingers down her cheek. She managed to hold perfectly still even as she suddenly had the instinctive desire to close those few inches and kiss the other vampire. The blonde knew was pretty sure that wouldn’t have been a good idea. So instead she stood frozen still as the vampire spoke again. Her words felt like a test. Suddenly Lilly felt like her answer to her question was going to determine the rest of her life. And she wanted to go toward the dark and allow herself to be enveloped in the mystery. “Yes,” she said, her voice equally soft. The single word made her feel strange, like she had indeed turned her life in a different direction with that one single word. But if she had, she also felt that she had taken the right step toward a more ‘thrilling’ life.
•• But the dramatic feeling shattered as Lilly shook her head slightly, refusing to show weakness by taking a step back to put space between herself and the other vampire in order to remove the electric tension she had been feeling with the other vampire being so close to her, mere inches away. The other vampire was taller than she was, perhaps by two inches, but it was hard to tell since they were both wearing heels. That small difference made it so that Lilly had to look up to look into the other vampires eyes, even if just a little bit. She wanted to tell the other vampire her name, but found herself unsure if she should. The other vampire probably didn’t care about her name, but Lilly found herself wanting to know how this girl was.

words // enough // outfit // clicky // tagged // lilly/kat boy with a coin, T H E N M A K I N G A W I S H , A N D T O S S E D I N T H E S E A She was used to silence, and truth was, she preferred it. Helena didn't find the need to fill every single silent second with words that didn't mean a thing, that would get her nowhere, that would be of no use. So, she wasn't baffled when she spoke and the blond girl in front of her did not. It meant that she would be thinking her words over, that Helena had been an influence on the woman, and that's all that counted. As long as they took in what she said, her wants, her tasks, anything, it made her powerful and it made them vulnerable. However, she was a hypocrite and she could admit it, as when others spoke their words mostly went in one ear and came out the other. "You shouldn't kill humans." They would say, "Taking innocent lives is so monstrous!" They would chant and that would thrill Lena because she would do just the opposite. Those words of warning and hatred made her want to kill even more innocent humans, made her want even more deaths and leave families unhappy. After all, she had no one to exist for, no family, no soulmate, so why should everyone else? Don't get her wrong it isn't envy, it's more to prove a point that being alone gives you power, and then all you do is exist for yourself. And you will go to any lengths to make yourself happy when you've got no one else to please.
“As if, he’s food. I don’t believe the cat feels guilt when she kills her prey so why should I be, or any vampire for that fact?” Lena's steely blue eyes narrowed as she stared at the other vampire, holding her under precise scrutiny as if she didn't believe her. As if she wanted to look over every detail to figure out if she wasn't just bullshitting her. Helena had to admit though, the girl had potential. She was beautiful of course, as vampires were, but from that phrase it was obvious that she also knew just what to say to make people believe her words. That earned her points in her book. However, the tone of her voice, and the underlying uncertainty told Lena a slightly different story. Maybe the girl didn't exactly feel what Lena had said to the extreme, but the vampire thought that she only wanted to say it to impress her. Maybe Helena was jumping the gun a little bit, but she was usually pretty observant, and rarely wrong about these things, therefore she didn't completely believe her words. That was so Helena, always skeptical of everything said, never trusting of anything that people tell her. Because there is no truth in everything, only lies as she had learnt the hard way.
A smirk graced her lips as she just carried on looking at the woman. She bit her lips for a moment before speaking. "Now tell me what you really think? I can tell that you don't kill for fun, I'm not that easily fooled." He words weren't harsh, or cold, or monotonous, they were just sort of quiet, almost as if she expected the girl to disagree. Though Helena didn't know what her response would be, she figured that she'd hear it anyway. Take the time to listen for a moment or two before she became bored, and right now the girl was the most interesting thing that would ebb away her boredom. So, there she stood in front of her, a smile on her lips awaiting a response. “Yes,” What a simple word. But no one ever quite knew how many possibilities that gave to everyone, and mostly to Helena. To use people like her as puppets on a string, guiding them in any way she wants to, making them hers, making them do what she wanted. That was what she strived for. Not love, no that would make her weak, but power to put fear into people around her, to be the one everyone is terrified of, that is what she really craves.
That was when Helena head her. The girl. She had pushed the back door of the club wide open, and her blue eyes watched the human as she stumbled out of the heated room. That was when a malicious smile appeared on her lips as she looked back at the other blond vampire. "Prove it." She said, as Helena never took anyone's words for granted. She wanted proof. And that girl was just perfect! Crossing her arms over her chest, she nodded towards the drunk girl who could barely walk straight. "Kill her. Right now." Now her words were harsh and commanding, they were malicious and you could hear the glee at a potential kill in her voice. Helena hoped that the woman would do it, otherwise she'd had to do it herself, as when she decided that someone would die that is what they will do. They will die, one way or another. And that drunken slut was not getting away. notes // woooooo excited.com! |

•• As the other vampire’s steely blue eyes seemed to narrow on her, Lilly found a small part of her rearing her head, telling her to raise her head and not hide like a coward by staring at the floor, giving her the courage to gaze right back at the other vampire and not to flinch from it. Lilly didn’t like feeling like she was being scrutinized though, but she also figured the vampire was trying to see if there was truth in her words, that she had no problem killing a human. But it was true. She had no problem killing them. They weren’t even really people in her eyes. Her words summed up her feelings quite accurately. She just didn’t take joy in it or found it particularly fun. It just was. So Lilly gazed back, fighting the urge to lower her gaze or to take a step back, to show any weakness, because the other vampire might mistake it for a sign that she was lying. When a smirk graced the other vampire’s lips, Lilly felt herself feel a wave of uncertainty wash over her, uncertain of what to do. She almost felt like smiling, kind of how a person has the tendency to laugh when those around them laugh, uncertain about what they were laughing about but not wanting to feel left out of the secret. Shifting her weight on the floor of the alley, the heels of her boots making a soft scuffing sound as she did so.
•• When the other vampire bit her lip and then spoke, Lilly found her heart sinking. Is it that obvious? Or is she just really observant? the blonde wondered and was silent for a moment, wondering what to tell her. The truth? A modified version of the truth? She some how felt though that the other vampire would still pick up on it... The truth then. With a soft sigh, Lilly averted her gaze for a moment and then shrugged her shoulders, returning her eyes to gaze at the other vampire, “I do not have a problem killing. That’s for sure. I do it every single day after all. I just don’t find pleasure in it. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t not like it. I just don’t find any fun in it...” Her voice trailed off at the end as her head turned in the direction of the back door opening behind her. Her ears picked up on the sound instantly, the slightly accelerated heart beat, the noisy breathing, just as her nose crinkled as she picked up on the scent of cheap liquor on the human’s breath. She turned where she stood, facing the direction that the human was as that was where the other vampire’s attention had moved to.
•• The woman was in her twenties, anorexic-ly thin as though she was one of those who threw up after any meal where she consumed more than 300 calories. Fake nails were on her fingers, though one was missing on her left pinky, and her hair was dyed blonde and cut in a sloppy imitation of Jennifer Aniston. She had dull dark brown eyes surrounded by thick lines of mascara that gave her the look of a raccoon and thin lips that were covered in ruby red lipstick that was slightly smeared on the right side and clashed horribly with her pink dress and fake pink knock-off heels. All in all, Lilly found her quite ugly, even for a human. She was one of those typically dim-witted girls who Christina Aguilera sang about in her song Bobble Head. She was short too, no taller than five feet. Lilly would have dismissed her on sight if the other vampire seemed to have taken a sudden interest in her arrival. Her head tilted and turned to look at the other vampire curiously. But then light was shed on the situation. “Kill her. Right now.” She wanted proof it seemed that Lilly had no problem killing. Lilly arched an eye brow slightly, her gaze flickering over the human who was stumbling about and then leaned against one wall laughing one of those fake, high pitched laughs, seemingly for no reason.
•• Lilly shrugged, “Sure. Not a problem,” she said, this time with not the slightest hint of uncertainty. If it was proof the other vampire wanted, it was proof she was going to get. This was going to be easy. Lilly sauntered toward the girl, one hand brushing a strand of her blonde hair aside, casting the girl a dazzling smile as she approached. The human, the moment she saw her, blinked stupidly and stared at her, mesmerized by her, as was common for humans to be when they saw a vampire. When Lilly was merely a few feet in front of her, she ran a finger lightly down the side of the girls cheek, amused at how the human was staring at her like a deer caught in head lights. The moment the girl opened her mouth though to speak, Lilly pressed a finger to her lips, “Hush,” she whispered softly near the girl’s ear. She lowered her head slightly, almost like she was about to kiss the girl on the neck, even as the girl seemed to whimper with sudden desire. She exhaled softly, her breath feathering over the girl’s neck as she debated how to kill the girl. She could drain her, like the other vampire had done, and she did need blood...
•• The other vampire had said nothing of how to kill the human so Lilly decided she was going to get her feeding for the night out of the way, even if it was from this drunken girl who wasn’t Lilly’s type by any means... Her fangs sliced through the human’s skin like razor blades through butter, blood pouring into her mouth, instantly taking the edge off of the hunger she had been feeling for the past few hours. She swallowing the thick liquid down, ignoring the girl as she moaned and squirmed. But the moment the girl placed her hands on Lilly’s slim waist to pull her closer, Lilly smacked her hands away with a soft growl of warning, not wanting to get the girl’s scent on her clothing. The girl dropped her hands to her side, fingers closing into fists, her body seeming to shiver with desire. When the blonde vampire felt like she had had enough to last her till tomorrow, Lilly pulled back, and then with one swift movement, snapped the human’s neck. The girl’s body dropped lifelessly to the floor, making a soft thud as her body struck the concrete. Turning around to face the other vampire, she shrugged and motioned at the human, “She’s dead. But you can check if you don’t believe me,” she said, lightly, a small smile even flickering across her lips.

I do it every single day after all. I just don’t find pleasure in it. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t not like it. I just don’t find any fun in it...” Helena could not help but roll her eyes at the woman. She didn't want to help it either, because she was getting annoyed. She did get annoyed quite easily, and that went the same with boredom with a person. She smacked her lips as her eyes locked onto the other's face before speaking. "Do you always ramble when you're nervous?" She asked, distaste colouring her voice. It was only because Helena herself never got nervous, so it annoyed her and made her wonder why the hell others did? Did they have something to lose? Probably. None of them were like Helena, she had no one and she enjoyed that. She didn't have to get nervous about pleasing anyone or saying the right thing, and the golden haired woman before her was obviously the opposite of what Lena herself was like.
Helena's steely gaze did not change as the other vampire quirked her eyebrow at her. Lena didn't care about that, and she just watched as she shrugged and went to do as Lena had asked. It was a wonder why anyone followed orders. If the other woman had asked her to go kill, she wouldn't had done it out of principle because no one could tell her what to do. She killed on her own terms, she was cruel and powerful enough to kill on her own terms and that was probably something that the blonde didn't know. She stood there, with hands on her hips and the smallest of smirks playing around her lips as she watched her move towards the human. Truly, the sight of the drunk human was so pitiful. And that was one of the reasons why she hated the human race so much, they were so worthless, only good for getting drunk, or stoned and throwing up. None of them had any talent, and that was that.
Slightly out of the ordinary, Helena's eyes were rather glued to the woman's lithe form as she moved towards her prey, and a small chuckle escaped her lips as the woman that was pushed against the wall by her whimpered under her touch so sexually. It was endearing, to see that reaction come from a woman to a woman. Helena had never really tried it herself, usually making men the objects of her affection, yet strangely the sight was quite alluring and sensual. She watched from where she was standing the sight of the two women close, she could hear her fangs slicing her skin as Lena's lips pursed in a sort of approval, even though that drunk, pitiful woman was more than easy prey. More like at the approval of being entertained. The noises of the human and the actions and the clear feeling of desire emanating from her got Lena curious about the sexual desires between two women. She knew that is happened, but she was more of a man's woman. Yet, she found the whole experience rather sexy.
Helena laughed out loud as she was told to 'check'. Her steely eyes was now scrutinizing the other vampire as she waited for her to come closer, an amused look upon her features. "Come now, I've killed many more than you have, I know when a human is dead." Her voice was cold, even with the amused expression on her face. However, she also moved to be within acceptable conversation distance for the woman. "However..." She pursed her lips amusedly, licking them before carrying on with her speech, "That was quite an interesting show. She obviously wanted you, it was rather fascinating." And it had been, as it was quite the opposite of what Lena usually was a part of. "What is the name to put to your face, dear killer." She cooed softly, not sure why she was interested in her name but it would be amusing to see what name matched such a stunning face.
