THIS WORLD WILL NEVER BE
what i expected[/center]
Whenever these two met up, nine times out of ten, it ended up with them sleeping together. They couldn’t help it. Remy couldn’t have resisted even if he wanted to. Even if he didn’t have this craving addiction, he probably still would have caved in with Talia. He didn’t know what she was thinking, but obviously one thing always lead to another. He could remember the first meeting. How tense they were. Wasn’t it at the movie theater? Remy was hanging out behind back counter- on the job- and she had came up while it was deserted. That felt so long ago. Even though Remy hadn’t been in Manuka long enough to consider it a long time ago situation. He had been hanging out there for a pretty long time. Long enough to start getting some ideas on how to quickly take down the supernatural force and such. It was funny. How he could do such human things like be with Talia while still trying to balance hunting the creatures of the night. Maybe that was one of the things he liked most about Talia. She was sweet. Normal. Well, normal in his world of crazy.
And she teased him quite a bit. Instead of just following him around like a puppy and nod at everything he said, she did like to go back and forth with this playful banter the pair did. Remy smirked lightly, and actually burst out laughing when she went into a fake accent. There was many people who thought they could fake an accent. Take it from someone who had to drop and add accents all the time when he acted hunting supernatural- it was hard to do. It couldn’t be overdone. Some things had to be more subtle sounding. When they sounded that subtle, it was also very easy to lose it. Just slip into what you were regularly speaking. Since people with regular accents didn’t do that, obviously it raised suspicions. That was the hardest parts. He started out sounding much like Talia attempted. She laughed along with him, following with a ‘I tried.’
”Does dis mean I need to ‘ake you to New Orleans officially? “ He asked, ”Hearing id from oders would help.” Ah, he didn’t even know when he was going back, but he wanted to go soon. Taking Talia would actually really not be a bad idea, and though the pair were teasing about it earlier, he couldn’t help but now really love the idea. Maybe he loved the idea too much for someone like him, but he couldn’t help himself. The one person who would be perfect to take. Other might have popped into his mind, but none of them really matched up. There were few people he could take for longer periods of time, still remain causal, and play this back and forth game. No one else really understood it. If there was anyone who did- anyone in the world- he would be utterly shocked. Every relationship was different, right? Something like that. Remy’s relationship with other people was starting to become slimmer since he had taken the job as a hunter. For obvious reasons. Supernaturals sure as hell hated him. People weren’t of interest. Other hunters didn’t really appreciate him either. His tactics were a little… off for them.
There was a light grin on his face that a child might have used trying to get away with something, ”Aw, it’s no fun if I tell you all the answers.” Leave her wondering. She shouldn’t have been wondering though, honestly. She should have known exactly what it was. She probably did, but was messing with him. He was certain of it. For as much as Remy thought he knew Talia, he really had no idea what was going through her head. Still, it also didn’t bother him all that much. Whenever he wondered about what might have, he didn’t have any doubts. That’s what it was about Talia. She made him not doubt anything. Like anything was possible, and the world was good and whole. Alive. Well. ”Hopefully not. I’d have to grow my hair out to cover it, no?” He asked, making his long hair swish as it was. The hunter really did have to cut it soon. Though he enjoyed his longer hair, it wasn’t very good hunting material. It could easily get in the way and get him killed. Not worth it.
Remy puckered out his bottom lip for a couple of moments, but brought it back in to whisper to her, leaning in closer, ”I would be frightened,” He began, ”But I know you’d never hurt me, now would you?” That much he was confident in. Honestly, he didn’t picture her hurting anyone, but he had heard sometimes she could get really rallied up when someone made her mad. Not a fate he would want to be faced with. Still, he also didn’t know if the rumors were true or not. Jealousy could really bring out the worse in people. Which he never understood. Remy was many things, but he was not a jealous person. He really had no one to be jealous for, honestly. Maybe… maybe Talia. Yes. There was a little bit of an angry streak whenever he heard of Talia’s other… partners. Still, it was also rewarding to know at that moment, she was with him. His arms. Take that.
With a gentle pull of his hand, he lead her to the exit, grinning the whole way and keeping her as close as he possibly could. He didn’t even know where they were going. Even if it didn’t end up the way he was implying, maybe a change of atmosphere. Make some of the parents feel a little better about taking their kid somewhere like the museum. Plus, the not-so-friendly security guard was bound to go after them sooner or later. Holding her tightly, he took strides in step with hers, ”Why are you such a joy to be around. What’s your secret?” He breathed lightly in her ear with a mixture of light amusement and actually wondering how it was she could do this to him. So damn easily.
AND IF I DON'T BELONG
