Vivienne glanced around rather nervously, her head moving back and forth as she tried squinting through the trees. It was twilight; the sun had already set and she could see the stars coming out already. Each time a bush rustled, or a branch dropped from a tree, she would jump and almost crash into one. The forest creeped her out; proven with her jumping around and being skittish; but she wasn't going to back out just yet. No way was she turning her back to a place with a bunch of trees in it of fear. Hell no. Feeling a burst of new confidence erupting in her, she made a feeble attempt to be brave and quickened her pace. God, why did this place feel so ominous?
A light touch from Owen on her arm made her stop and stare at him puzzlement. She noticed that he seemed to be on full alert mode, as though he had sensed something. When he asked whether she wanted to leave or not, she shook her head quickly. "No, it's alright." She gave him a tiny smile which she hoped was convincing, but deep down, she was seriously starting to get a bad feeling about this place. Everything that she saw made her think that they were alive and waiting to get ahold of her once her back was turned. Shuddering inwardly, she let out a tiny squeak when she was suddenly pushed behind, and the next thing she knew, she was leaning against a rocky frame. Starring at Owen in bewilderment, she followed his gaze to a ledge above them. "Uhhh....I suppose." There was an urgency in his tone, and she nodded in understanding. He wanted, no, needed her to get up there, for safety she supposed. Her fingers looking for handholds in the rocky face, she was about to climb when a loud yowl made her freeze and turn around. A golden feline, which she often saw on television was standing a few feet away from them, clearly not in a happy mood. Shaking now, she barely managed to scramble up the ledge, almost falling off in the process and sat there, her eyes locked on the wild animal. Fear shot through her, threatening to overcome her and cause her to panic. Never once in her life did she see and realize that her life was on the line. Tonight could be the night that she breathed her last. Vivi then closed her eyes for a moment, and opened them again to see Owen shooting off into the forest. Whatever that he had been wearing seemed to disappear before her very eyes and the next thing she knew, there was another animal standing in his place. The black wolf that she was now looking at looked every bit as sinister as the wild cat. Myths and legends came bumbling back to her; stories that had been told by her family and read over the internet. Vivi shook her head once, unable to accept the fact that the boy she had just met had turned into a wolf. Maybe he ran off and some random mutt appeared out of nowhere in coincidence. But no, she wouldn't accept the fact that Owen would simply run off and leave her at the mercy of the mountain lion. It took every bit of her willpower for her not to panic and maintain a calm composure. She took shallow breaths and her shaking seemed to have intensified, trying to believe what she was seeing now and at the same time, made attempts not to lose control and panic. Terrified now, she watched as a bloody fight took place between the wolf and the lion. Viv watched with barely concealed horror as the wolf seemed to snap the lion's leg off. When the cat set a pair of ominous yellow eyes on her, she found herself holding her breath before the mutt lunged at the feline again. Her dislike for violence; even including ones that took place between animals almost sent her into jumping off the ledge and fleeing scene. She stared as the black wolf seemed to have defeated the lion, and she closed her eyes when the cat surrendered and disappeared into the trees. When she opened them again, she saw Owen getting into his clothes as though nothing seemed to have happened. Vivi blinked, once, twice, even pinched herself on the arm to check whether she was dreaming or not. When she grimaced with pain, she knew immediately that this was reality she was facing. She continued to stare at Owen, her expression nothing but shock and she didn't seem to be able to move her legs to get down from the ledge. A familiar lazy yawn made her snap her head up. Her favorite brother just so happened to be there leaning against a tree near where Owen was now- she probably didn't hadn't heard his footsteps and seemed to appear out of nowhere. His mouth was opened in a yawn, and he looked lazily at at his younger sister, running a hand through his brown hair. What Viv didn't notice was the gun Pilar had tucked in his front pocket, filled to the brim with silver bullets. "Allo sis." he called lazily in Ukrainian, blinking the same gray eyes at her. "How much did that lion scare you?" His tone clearly indicated that he had witnessed everything, but as usual, Viv failed to notice even the most minor details, too wrapped up in her own shock at the moment. Instead, she shook her head at him and nodded towards Owen, unable to speak. "Oi." Pilar said to Owen, seeming to notice him for the first time and switching into English. "You shoulda gone for the nose there- it's faster." Not a 'what did you do to my sister' or even a 'who the hell are you'. He liked beating around the bush- it provided entertainment for some reason. Landing on his butt when he'd shifted, Owen was particularly glad that Vivi hadn't seen too much of his skin. Not that he was ashamed, no, but he'd much prefer not for her just to see it out of respect. It wasn't that he was skinny, no, he had what his brother called, "lanky muscles" since he had muscles, but they were just thrown over bones and that was pretty much it. Ruffling his black hair slightly, he groaned when he realized the cat had managed to claw at his arm. Lifting it up, he noticed the scratches on his arm, and the wolf lifted his gaze as he had stood up, meeting Vivi's gray-eyed gaze silently. She was still there and unharmed. Good, or else Owen would have gone right then and killed that feline if it had placed just one paw on her, even if it didn't draw blood, he still would have done something to that animal, and most likely kill it for even thinking of going after Vivienne. Bright eyes lifted silently then as he finished tying his last shoe back on, when he heard something shift by him. It wasn't Vivienne, she wasn't that smooth with the noises, but also that she wasn't located near where that sound had come from. Whirling around, Owen's eyes widened slightly when he noticed then a brunette leaning against a tree, fortunately far enough where he wouldn't have seen Owen butt-naked, but unfortunately close enough to where he would have seen everything, plus the top part of Owen vanish and shift into the front part of the massive, bear-sized black wolf. Swallowing, Owen glanced to Vivienne and spoke, "Vivienne, are you...okay? It...d-didn't hurt you, did it?"
His primary concern was Vivienne, he could always hunt this guy down. Inhaling slowly, the wolf turned back to the guy when he called out to her in another language. What the hell? Who was this guy? Jealousy snaked through him at the first moment he thought of boyfriend, but he noticed the similarities in their features and he realized he could be her brother, hadn't she mentioned she had siblings? Dammit. His "genius" brain began to work, but Cade had always told him his excuses sucked, plus this guy appeared to have seen everything that had just happened to Owen walking away from Vivienne for a moment to shift and only to reappear as a massive beast that could kill a human in one swipe if he wanted. Lanky limbs moved and carried him closer to Vivienne, not wanting her to be too scared of him, though he tensed when the language was swapped to English and the guy greeted him. Turning around tautly, Owen paused, remaining silent for a moment, before he then figured he might as well as answer, as he may need to shift again soon, "H-hello."
he answered back, wanting to be near Vivienne, but he also wanted to know who this guy was too. Frowning, Owen inhaled, catching his scent, and quickly memorizing it, that way he could hunt him down if he wanted to. Muscles tensed as he was now between Vivienne and this guy. Or, had this been a trap? Did Vivienne do this on purpose, get him to shift so they could get him? Panic wove through his system before he could stop it, and he felt his muscles begin to twitch, his animal side telling him to shift and just kill this guy. He wouldn't, Owen wouldn't dare do that. Hearing the guy's comment on the cat's nose, Owen frowned slightly. He was avoiding it obviously. Hesitating, deciding not to provoke this guy, just in case he turned out to be what he actually smelled like, a hunter of some sorts, the werewolf answered, "Y-yeah..." At least he wasn't bothered by the slight chill in the air now due to the change in wind, blowing this guy's scent towards him. Owen took a tentative step towards him, though stopped, he'd much rather be closer to Vivienne than this newcomer, as he didn't know him. Taking a good few steps back towards Vivienne, Owen looked to her, as if searching for what was going on in her head, before he turned back to the guy, and inquired, "Who...are you?" There, might as well as figure this out sooner than later. Plus, he wanted to ask what he was, as he smelled like...supernatural, but he wasn't one, as far as Owen's keen nose could tell. Wrinkling it slightly, the werewolf looked to Vivienne quietly, and he spoke, "Viv...I...did I...scare you?" he wanted to know, wanted to know she was going to be okay, though his other concern now was this guy. He'd obviously seen everything, so what was he doing? 'You'd think she'd just be sitting there quietly if that kitty touched her, mate.' Pilar couldn't help but think that as Owen directed that question to his sister, who was still perched on the ledge as though her life depended on it. He shot an incredulous look towards Owen and shook his head. The werewolf didn't know yet that Viv disliked, no, hated violence to the very core. If that lion had so much as scratched her, she would be doing more than just sitting there; she would panic and most probably fall off that ledge. Her thoughts a serious mess, Vivienne barely heard Owen as she replayed the bloody scene over and over again; the black wolf snapping at the lion; the lion raking its claws over the mutt; the dog biting the cat's leg. In her mind, there was blood everywhere; the whole scene exaggerated greatly, but that was all she could think. She shook her head, quickly clearing the pictures of the violent scene and focusing on Owen. In reply, she said the first random thing that popped into her mind. "I...dunt like big kitties." In the darkness of the trees, she could see Pilar beginning to snicker. "I-I'm coming d-down." she mumbled, dangling her legs over the ledge and leaped lightly down on shaky legs, barely managing to stand straight. Her head looked up, looking at Owen but when she tried looking into his blue eyes, she found that she couldn't. She was afraid of what she might see now; the eyes of the creature that she had met just now. She couldn't look at him without viewing him as a wolf now; a creature with the power to kill. Instead, she looked at Pilar, who was watching everything silently, stopping once in a while to pick idly at his nails before glancing between the both of them again. From his expression, she could guess that he had already guessed about the both of them; that the text that she had sent him held more than a message that she was going to be late. "Pilar Petrus. Or PP. Or just P. Whatever floats your boat. That's Vivi, but I'm sure you already know that." Pilar replied towards Owen, his voice bored as Vivi shakily began walking towards them, her head down. "At your service." He glanced towards Vivienne, who had already reached them and she was now standing next to him. Vivi then glanced towards Owen when he asked whether he had scared her or not but as she opened her mouth to speak, Pilar had already opened his. "Of course you scared her, you twit." he snorted, rolling his eyes and stepping forward so that he was actually standing between his sister and what seemed to her boyfriend now. His voice now annoyed, he continued. "She doesn't like violence. And what she has seen tonight..." He stared at Vivi, whose mouth was now opened. Then realization sank into him. His sister wasn't innocent anymore. It appeared that this was her first taste of the supernatural. He was tempted to right now just go ahead and shoot Owen, but he knew how much that would break her, maybe even kill her. "Owen..." Vivienne managed to say, looking at him, suddenly depressed and at a loss for words for once. Pilar sighed resignedly. "I think you and I need to take a walk." note: ahaha, this is getting a little complicated. <33 [/blockquote]

I'M THE NEW CANCER •• N E V E R • L O O K E D • B E T T E R •• A N D Y O U C A N ' T S T A N D I T- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
A shiver flew down the wolf's spine. Not out of fear, not out of pleasure. No, just a pure shiver down his spine, and he wasn't sure what it meant. This brother, Vivienne's brother didn't smell right, he smelled like he bathed in blood once in awhile, was there a secret to this? Had Vivi drawn him out here and now had the trap snapping around Owen, about to kill him? Instincts suddenly told him to keep away from her brother, that he could hurt him. Bright eyes flashed down to where his instincts were telling him to, and he could sense the smell of what his kind hated the most. Silver. Wrinkling his nose, and tensing, Owen's eyes landed on where he could sense the silver and gave the brother a slight look. All he knew was that if the brother started to try and shoot him, he'd either run or just get the gun from him. Highly doubted the latter though, Owen wasn't much of a fighter, but for mountain lions he'd made an exception, because they were just so fierce. Grimacing slightly, he then lifted up his shirt slightly, realizing he hadn't noticed the cat had also managed to clip him as well. Sighing, Owen lowered his shirt as his scratch began to heal, feeling his blood replenish itself before he then looked to the gorgeous blonde when she spoke that she didn't like big kitties. Wonderful, so then did she not hate big canines? Owen certainly hoped not, but at least she wasn't screaming at her brother to kill him, that was a big plus. His thoughts began to run rapidly, putting things together before he then looked to the brother when he finally gave the wolf his name. Pilar. Interesting name, suited their background of course. Owen could feel his mind want to travel through the names he'd heard of through his adventures reading, but he managed to stop himself and stuffed one hand into the pocket of his pants when the brother added at your service.
He wished. Owen may be quiet and stutter because his mind went faster than his mouth, but that didn't mean that he was dependent. Quite the opposite. Resisting the urge to retort, the wolf answered, "Pleasure, Pilar." he answered, not wanting to go into anymore details, before casting a nervous glance Vivi's way as if asking her if she was going to sic her brother on him. Owen personally hoped not, he just cursed his luck. He had been wanting to let Vivi get to know him before it all went down the drain. Before she had to witness the other side of him, the other side that he couldn't control one night every month, unless that month didn't have a full moon. Correction, any night there was a full moon he didn't have control, but for example like now when he did shift, Owen had complete control over himself and actually got to remember what happened to him. His thoughts paused when Pilar answered for Vivi, and Owen frowned slightly, before inquiring, turning fully to face Vivi, "Did I?"
he repeated the question, ignoring Pilar and wanting to hear from Vivienne instead. He felt bad for brushing her brother off like that, but he had wanted to hear the blonde's sweet voice instead, just when he came between them. Awkwardly stepping back, the taller male hesitated, resisting the urge to do something stupid. But no, he wasn't stupid. Owen had been labeled, and he kept it that way. He had gained something with Vivi, which now may be shattered, especially when her brother said they needed to take a walk. Blue eyes darkened ever so slightly, but didn't say anything as Owen shrugged, "Okay." Good, he hadn't stuttered so far. Worried eyes fell on the blonde once more, not wanting to leave her side. He did feel like a puppy-dog though, seeking praise for having protected who he cared for from danger. Then what would have happened if he hadn't shifted? Would Pilar have saved them or would Owen just be dead and maybe her brother step in and save her from the ferocious lion? Owen sighed softly, before stepping back, gesturing for Pilar to take the lead, wanting to know what the guy had to say. "Y-you lead...the way." he managed to say without too much of a problem. The wolf inhaled slowly, making sure to check for any dangerous scents. He didn't catch anything, just the smell of Vivi, Pilar and the remains of the mountain lion he could still smell over to their sides, where the battle had ended. Owen soon matched his pace easily with Pilar, allowing the guy to talk all he wanted. Owen was prepared to fight anything and anyone. He could take a silver bullet, as long as it didn't hit a vital organ, it was like a regular bullet was to humans, just that regular bullets to him were nothing. Silver was. But either way he would be more than happy to take a silver bullet in order to fight for Vivi. He would do anything to make sure she was safe and happy, absolutely anything. Out on the road to no where. But we got all night to get there. We won't turn around. So let's crank the radio up. Can't seem to get enough. We're lost inside the sound. We're never coming down. He was thankful that he hadn't hunted tonight yet.
Of course he wouldn't mind the wolf attacking him- everyone needed an adrenaline rush once in a while; just as long as he didn't get bitten. He would rather die than turn into a mutt to be honest; he didn't want to turn into the creature that he loved hunting. And he never allowed his target to escape. Until now. Pilar bloody Nikolas Petrus asking a bloody wolf to take a walk with him to talk about his sister when he should be shooting the mutt instead. Dammit. "Be back in a minute, sis." he chirped to his younger sister, trying to make look as though he was simply going for a walk with Owen instead of going to confront him and yelling 'what the hell and who the hell are you' and hopefully as a bonus, maybe blow his head off for unintentionally shattering his sister's innocence. Pilar nodded his head towards the trees and began to walk into the woods, taking the lead and pulling out a cigarette in the process. He wasn't really a smoker; he just needed one at the moment. Lighting it and at the same time narrowly avoiding a tree, he was now half-regretting coming out in the first place. Damn Estelle- she was the one who mentioned that there was maybe a mutt lurking around town. And he being an idiot had come out hoping for a thrill and instead he did meet the mutt, but unfortunately, he was involved with Vivi. Pilar blew a cloud of smoke into the air and suppressed a groan. His gut feeling was screaming at him to just kill; it was his damn job after all and nagging at why wasn't he doing his duty now. His conscience on the other hand, was lecturing him on dealing with Vivi's seem-to-be boyfriend now with words. Goddammit, did he have to? He walked on until he came to a familiar tree; a large oak with what looked like drops of dried blood on its trunk. It was Pilar's favorite spot to relax and to claim it was his, he often lured his opponents here and after they died, dab a little of their blood on the wood. Right now, there was a total of twelve drops on the trunk; the werewolf behind him would have been the thirteenth. Hah, thirteenth. Crappy number to folklore. Pilar cracked a wry smile at his thoughts and leaned against the trunk, feeling comfortable at the familiarity of it. He was silent for a while, blowing smoke into the air as he gathered his words. He then pulled out the revolver from the front of his jeans- not bothering to see the guy's reaction and using his thumb, opened the latch to reveal the bullet storage. It was empty, so even if the werewolf had lost the battle with the lion, Pilar wouldn't have been able to do anything. He then pulled a silver bullet nonchalantly out of the other pocket, and began putting them into the gun. While he did, he talked. "No use beating 'round the bush; I'll get to the point." he said wryly. "You're a dog. I'm a hunter; though you shoulda already have guessed that." He popped in another bullet. "You may have heard of us Petruses, or you may not have. I don't care, but the fact remains that we are a family of hunters, 'cept for Vivi." He paused for a while before continuing. I also don't know your name, and to be honest, I don't really want to know it now, though you are welcome to tell it to me anytime. The reason is that if it comes down to you being hunted by my people, I don't want to be one to kill you." Another bullet. "I don't want to know how you met Vivienne. Hell knows how you did. I don't want to know anything about you. My instincts are telling me to blow your head off right now, but I can't. All I want you to know that if you lay one finger on my sister..." He shoved the lot in and closed the latch. Click."I'll kill you." he finished lazily, his voice switching from its serious tone to its usual lazy drawl, looking up at Owen and tucking the gun away. "So help me I will." [/blockquote]

He could see the rush in the brother's eyes. It wasn't too hard to see. Owen had seen it before, seen the look of just wanting to kill him on the spot, and this was probably around the eighth time Owen has seen this since the first time he transformed. Once or twice it had been his own mother against him and his older brother, Aidan. Otherwise it was people who actually found out about his secret, like Vivienne and now her brother. Mentally muttering a few selective words, Owen's eyes darkened slightly, one hand sneaking into the back pocket on his jeans. He refused to ever let people who gave him those looks, see what they did to him. It wasn't as if he chose to be like this, he had been born this way, his father having been one as well, and it was destiny he and his brother would become wolves. People always looked down on them, as if they were any worse than a vampire that feasted on human blood, wolves only lost their mind once a month, vampires could loose it at practically any time. Bright eyes narrowed slightly, though his look immensely softened when it landed on the blonde by him for a few moments. She hadn't been hurt though, and he pushed aside his bruised ego and self-esteem for her. Vivi had been his main concern, and he knew he would have fought against three mountain lions to make sure Vivienne wouldn't be touched by them. Grinding his teeth together ever so slightly he could feel his canines elongate in his mouth slightly, showing his anger was beginning to ignite ever so slightly. Anger was a popular trigger for wolves, though Owen rarely reacted on it, most of the time he controlled himself, except on the full moon. Suddenly he thought, was this guy responsible for the killing of that wolf he'd met when he first came here? Most likely.
The werewolf could feel his senses go on overload as he then got cautious when the brother was leading him away. Casting a glance back to Vivi silently he told her he wouldn't ever hurt her or her brother, unless of course, Pilar provoked him. The wolf did grimace slightly when the brother lit up a cigarette. People thought they smelled bad, trying smelling that by ten-fold. Shaking his head, he brushed his hand down his black hair, Owen shook it off. If the guy didn't have any bullets, he would have felt like smacking that cancer stick right out of his mouth, but he stopped himself. Ears tuned in back to the sounds where Vivi was, making sure that she was okay and nothing was sneaking up on her, as Owen would easily be able to beat Pilar back to Vivi if something was wrong. His nose though, was telling him to keep all of his attention on Pilar. This guy was what he had been told and bred to avoid, they were hunters, and they killed wolves like him for a living, and most likely other supernatural species. His father had told them though, they and vampires were usually the most hunted, since they were the most feared sometimes. He'd make sure to give Pilar something to fear if he ever tried to hurt Vivi or him. Owen's eyes darkened immensely when his nose caught the scent of blood. So this was where Pilar's blood scent came from. This tree. Horror washed through him, though he didn't dare let it show, just remained silent, growling softly in his chest when he caught a sparkly flash of a silver bullet being loaded into the man's gun.
Silver was the one thing werewolves were bred to fear. He feared them, but he'd take a bullet if it meant he had to protect someone. Remaining poised and silent, Owen heard the brother begin to speak. Keen ears tuned in to the brother's words, though some of his attention remained on where Vivi was, wanting to be sure that nothing or no one was going to hurt her while he was away. Fortunately they didn't seem to be too far, but Owen knew he'd easily be able to beat this human to getting to Vivi to protect her first. Not only in height, but just being a supernatural over a human too. Brows furrowed ever so slightly, warily keeping an eye on both the brother, his words as well as the bullets he was now loading. Trying to intimidate him, perhaps? It wasn't working as well as the brother would probably like it to. Owen hadn't ever really gotten the protective sibling or father speech yet, but he had seen it plenty of times to understand it was pretty much a rite of passage for any guy who was seeing a younger sister or daughter. Though this time, it was real, and it was a hunter's daughter. Why was Vivi then the only one who wasn't a hunter? Watching him, Owen spoke after Pilar finished his threat, "I'd rather take a clip of silver bullets than hurt Vivienne." he stated solemnly, eyes locking onto the brothers, his voice steady, though slow, picking his words carefully, "I've been...bred to kill ones like you, Pilar. Your...family."
he spoke, then gestured back to Vivi, "I give you my word, Pilar...to...you and your family." he sighed softly, "I won't hurt Vivi...or your family." He nodded solemnly. Hunters were the least of his problems, Owen was more for protecting himself, and protecting the sanctity of human beings and the supernatural. "So you can call me m-my name...it's Owen." he added calmly. Out on the road to no where. But we got all night to get there. We won't turn around. So let's crank the radio up. Can't seem to get enough. We're lost inside the sound. We're never coming down. Goddammit, he's tall, Pilar noted dryly as he noted the wolf up and down. Black hair, clear blue eyes, lanky. He would have been alright in Pilar's books if he hadn't given his secret away, the hunter thought somewhat unhappily. Deep down, he was already wishing that he hadn't come out; hadn't met him and hadn't stumbled upon him and Vivi. Now he was gonna have to let him go, allow him to...in a way date his precious sister. What was ma and pa going to say about this? What would the family do if they found out that their innocent daughter was dating a wolf? They would most probably move away, after hunting down the mutt and taking him and Vivienne along. Move to some remote country. Pilar didn't want that; didn't want to move nor did he want Vivienne's heart to break.
"Nice to hear that ya ready to protect her, Romeo." Pilar drawled after a few seconds of listening. He flicked the now cigarette stub with his finger to one side before folding his arms across his chest. His gray eyes closed as the wolf said that he was bred to kill people, no, idiots like him. Of course he had. He was a hunter, the whole fucking lot of Petruses were hunters (except Vivi) and according to some unwritten law to a few if not allowed of supernatural creatures, they were to flee upon seeing then or kill them. One less threat. "Don't make promises ya can't keep." he snorted dryly ater a few seconds pause of listening. "I know you won't hurt Vivi, because I'll shoot you if you do. And once you meet my other siblings, you might want to rethink your words." It was true. The others might not take so kindly to hearing this; they would immediately scream for the wolf's blood on the spot. Part of him also knew that what he said about the mutt not hurting Vivi wasn't really true; the guy did seem as though he really wanted to protect Vivi from harm's way. It could be also the fact that he had also fallen for her too. Pilar shook his head to himself. He was losing his cool; he felt deep emotions churning in him; anger at the wolf for getting involved with sister, regret that he had failed to protect Vivienne from seeing what shouldn't have been seen and at the same time, curious as to know what will happen now. Eh, no. Pilar shoved everything back down, knowing full well that stupid emotions would only get in the way after all and soon returned to his usual lazy demeanor. And as though he wanted to prove to himself that he was back to normal, he turned away from the wolf to stare at the tree, and poke the dried spots of blood lazily, in time to hear him say his name. Owen. Odd name. Not a common one. Pilar only grunted in reply. He hadn't wanted to know his name, but he still received it anyway. Who knows, it could be useful. To anyone, but not him. Pilar allowed himself a yawn and looked at the silver watch on his wrist. It was half past eight; the Petruses were probably freaking out already. And as if on cue, a soft sound that only phones could make when they're set on silent mode could be heard at the back of his jeans. He had no doubt that the caller was his one of his parents. And as usual, he ignored it. He had no plans to go home, but he wanted his sister back in the house. He had to stop by a bar for a beer first; clear out the stress. Changing the subject, he said "God, I'm tired of giving out death threats. It's gettin' late and I need a drink. On normal circumstances, I'd invite ya along with me, but you probably wouldn't want that anyways not after what happened just now. So I leave it to ya to take Vivi home. Put a paw on her and I'll have ya head. Capiche?" [/blockquote]

Owen could feel his mind begin to work itself away from this conversation. Begin to want to figure out what else was in this world, and figure out a problem for him to figure out. Blue eyes darkened slightly at the idea of anything coming between him and Vivi. It was quite a selfish thought and he was quite surprised that he had though of such a thing, but he had and there was no way to go back on it. Owen knew that he really did care for Vivi and if it meant dealing with her brother, Pilar - the wolf was ready to do it. If her whole family happened to know, who unfortunately seemed to be just a bunch of hunters, Owen wasn't sure how that was going to do down for him. In all honesty he wasn't entirely sure if he'd ever like to meet Vivi's family till he knew they wouldn't kill him on the spot their eyes landed on him. Owen knew if that happened he could probably easily outrun the humans, as he knew that his brother had always been tempted to play sports because they would win, but probably by too much time and the people would get suspicious. At the call of the nickname Owen had suddenly been called by her brother, his brows furrowed together ever so slightly, though he didn't react to it too much. He refused to give her brother that type of - reassuring shiver that he was getting down beneath his skin. His fingers tensed slightly, flexing and the werewolf commented, slowly - picking his words carefully, "I don't...." he paused, "Even think...of hurting anyone."
He tensed as Pilar turned to the tree, away from him and Owen added, "Ever." Not unless they attacked him, his brother, his family or now Vivienne was included in that. For some unknown reason to Owen, he got offended. What-ever Pilar might have done or said to make him feel like that, he wasn't entirely sure but it was true nonetheless. The wolf's nose wrinkled slightly, holding his breath even if not literally to keep himself from giving this guy a piece of his mind. He couldn't, and certainly wouldn't. Especially not if it would ruin chances and reputation with Vivienne, especially if it would hurt her, which it had to. Pilar was her brother after all. At the boy's words about a drink, and then not inviting him. Owen opened his mouth to answer, his ears now tuned in on what Vivienne might be doing and making sure she was all right, just in case Pilar dragged him away so that maybe their family could get Vivi away from him. It was probably a little selfish to think that, but still nonetheless, Owen felt protective of Vivi, and he knew it wasn't just because of who he was, but what he was too. Dogs, even wolves were fiercely loyal, and therefore he wasn't sure how much of the protectiveness was him or the wolf. Or maybe just both parts, being a wolf made him complete, a complete person on this crazy world. Speaking of crazy, this family knew they'd go nuts when he brought her home. Swallowing back the nerves, the wolf spoke, "She'll be home...shortly." He'd make sure of that too. Once he answered her brother, Owen took off back through the brush and trees to where he knew Vivi was. He could smell her - his senses were on full alert now after changing, instead of just the normal enhanced when he didn't change for a few, afterwards they were always like tripled instead of just doubled. Vivi always smelled so clean, so - simple and chic. Yes, he knew that word, he was always thought of as the "gay" one around some girls. He didn't care about the other girls right now. All that mattered to him right now was returning to Vivi, and even then as he got closer, Owen could feel his spirit get "lighter" so to speak. Bright eyes landed on the gray ones of the blonde when he reappeared in the clearing and approached her tentatively, before inquiring lightly, "You okay, Vivi?" His voice seemed moderately steady as he approached her, though still made sure to give her some distance, he didn't want her to freak out on him, "I'll...I'm going to..walk you home." Owen spoke simply, offering her his arm if she wanted to be steadied while they walked, though he doubted she'd accept it, he still had his manners, putting his pride and ego on the line for them. Once they began to walk, Owen looked to the blonde quietly, and spoke, "I'm sorry...Vivi." [/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -• B E C A U S E Y O U S A Y S O •UNDER YOUR BREATH 50+ WORDS | COMPLETE | OPEN | CLOTHES COMING LYRICS BY PANIC!
