TAG:::ARIEL
Jack’s dreams had been getting stranger and stranger lately. He’d been watching a movie on his couch when he’d dozed off, and the ensuing dream was so vivid, so comforting, he never wanted to wake up.
He was floating in a lake. He remembered it from his childhood; he’d been there only twice, when his father had taken leaves from the military and come to visit, he occasionally took his son to a small cabin up in the mountains, and the two of them would lounge for several days before returning to Jack’s mother. The lake had been his favorite part of the trip. It was so still, so calm, so clear, aside from the side opposite the cabin where there was a series of small, gentle waterfalls that led down into a river. Jack was staring up at the night sky, not paddling, not really supporting himself, entirely relaxed. For several minutes he lay, barely moving. Then his hand ran into solid ground, and he realized he’d been moving toward the falls. The drop was not enough to hurt him, but he didn’t want to disturb his peaceful float. He reached out, trying to find the bank to push himself in the opposite direction, but his hand touched skin. His eyes flickered open.
She stood over him; or perhaps stood wasn’t a good word. She wasn’t standing on the bank, she was just there. It was night, but she was radiating light, and warmth. He could hardly make out all her features, she was so bright. All he could do was gaze up at her wordlessly. She reached down, gently pushing his shoulder, sending him back in the right direction.
”Call my name if you need me,” she said, her voice ringing in his head, though she was barely whispering. ”And never go into the dark alone.”
Jack was drifting away. He couldn’t move back toward her, though he desperately wanted to. She was getting too far. Your name?! he tried to choke out, but couldn’t open his mouth.
”Ariel…”
----
Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, dumbass, total idiot, why do you do this, you stupid, stupid, stupid man? Jack Mars took another small step up the path toward the dark, empty, silent, spider-web-covered mansion. This is not worth it, you are stupid and you deserve whatever ax-wielding murder jumps out of the attic and cuts off your head and eats your eyes…
He was a sucker for a stray dog. He wanted to take care of them. He hated the idea that he’d let one get away and that it would run into the street and get hit by a car. So when he saw a dog-like figure scurry past the gate and up the path into a broken window of this creepy house, he had to follow. Never mind that it was the middle of the damn night, and that he was alone and unarmed aside from a pack of Beggin’ Strips he kept in his car for emergency dog rescues. He had to wander into the horrifying dark house.
He fit in the same broken window as the dog. It was a little eerie; he’d seen the dog, and the thing had barely made it through the opening, which meant it was almost as big as Jack. Perhaps big dog + scary house + night = bad plan after all. But he was already inside, and he’d seen this house since he was twelve and been afraid of it. So he might as well man up now.
He slowly tracked his way across the foyer and into a hallway, following the scrabbled footprints in the dust on the ground. His steps seemed to make so much noise on the creaky floorboards. Turning, he saw only one open door and moved through it. This room was even darker than the last. He could literally see nothing. He heard a shuffle off to his right. It may have been his imagination, or it may have been a large angry dog. Either way, Jack grasped at his pockets, hoping he had something he could use as a weapon. His hand found his keychain, where he had a mini flashlight attached so he could put his key in the door at night. Fumbling, he flicked it on, turning it in the direction of the noise.
A growl rose up to meet him. The eyes reflecting in the light were red. The thing was enormous, and completely black. Maybe it wasn’t a dog after all.
Never go into the dark alone.
Why didn't he ever listen?

Ariel had been sent to watch over Jack Mars by her leader, she was a guardian Angel her name meant the Angel of Protection. She made an oath when she arrived in Heaven that she would do whatever she was told with out asking questions, she thought this was just another mission man was she wrong. She had been watching over him for the past few months almost a year or so, she had been in his dreams countless times just watching them but never showing up in them until now.
She felt that it was necessary to warn him now to scare him a bit to get him to listen to her voice but like that would ever happen. In her years of experience human males were the most stubborn of all god's creatures they have huge egos and never do what they are told.
She appeared in this dream why because he was at his most peaceful in this one because it was of his childhood. She stood on the bank of the lake watching him she was always watching him never interfering until now stupid human she thought. She pushed him on to the right path down the lake and whispered if he ever needed her to call and to never go in to the dark alone. She had to go at that time she risked too much by speaking to him she started to disappear but not with out leaving him with one final word her name. "ARIEL."
___________________________________________________
Ariel had just been sent down to earth not to watch anymore but to protect by weaving her way in to Jack's life but how was she suppose to do that. He was a guy she could always smile and seduce him which is what she saw most of the other women do during her time. she smiled at that moment then laughed to herself, she knew where he was at every moment she liked to call it Angel intuition. She followed him to the haunted house and watched him follow what he thought was a dog in to the haunted house. Stupid ass she spoke as she watched him and mumbled under her breath he never listens to me.
She slowly made her way around to the side of the house when she saw a light and saw he had a mini flashlight and nothing else to help him out here. She turned and leaned against the side of the building and closed her eyes letting her mind reach his. She whispered " I want you to slowly back up but leave the light on. Don't breath just back up quietly and slowly no fast movement."
Ariel opened them and blinked once she knew light had a big thing to do with this creature that is why it only came out at night and hid in places where is was completely dark she smiled and threw a rock in the window then ran around to the front of the house and then ran inside with a gun and firecrackers. She was told not to let him in on who she was so this is the only thing she could come up with at such short notice.
She grabbed him from behind and turned him so she could light the fireworks and then threw them in the room and let them light up the night. She smiled to herself and then looked up at him "Come on we got to go like now. Cujo is not going to be too happy in say like five seconds." She had the gun loaded and cocked just in case they were taken by surprise or she underestimated Cujo a bit.

Jack experienced weird things all the time. Still, it was hard not to be surprised when they happened. For instance, when he could have sworn he heard a woman’s voice speaking to him. He looked around, his head jerking, and the dog thing snarled. No fast movement, the woman had said, and she appeared to be correct. It was probably best to listen to her, though he had no idea where she was. Without taking his eyes or his light off the creature, he stepped back slowly, the wood floor creaking slightly. He had taken three steps back when someone grabbed him from behind and he almost lost it and panicked.
Then he was turned around, and his arms instinctively came around the thing holding him, ready to shove it away. It was a girl. A strangely familiar girl. A strangely familiar girl holding a gun. It was just not going to be a normal day, no matter what Jack did. He paused, watching her as she lit the fireworks, too surprised to even react properly.
Then she spoke. Damn, her voice was familiar too. Of course, it was the same one he’d heard moments ago. She must have been in the hall, whispering to him through the doorway. Or in the next room. Who she was, how she found him, why she was saving him, or how she knew exactly what to do were all questions Jack was going to have to deal with later. For now, she said they needed to leave, and she hadn’t lead him astray so far. He hurried out the doorway, back into the hall, one hand remaining holding onto her arm while the other lit the ground in front of his feet with the tiny flashlight. Tripping and falling and letting Angry Dog catch up wouldn’t improve his night.
”What is that thing?” he managed to get out as they ran, but was more determined to get the hell out of the spooky house than get an answer at the moment. He glanced over his shoulder; he didn’t expect fireworks to hurt the huge dog. They would probably just piss it off, and it would come charging around the corner at them. Why hadn’t she just used the gun? Why had he trusted a complete stranger holding fireworks in the first place? Jack did not trust easily. This night was one confusing mess so far, and it didn’t look like it would change soon, as he was still sprinting down a hall away from a monster with an armed stranger.

Ariel looked over at the guy next to her and shook her head this was not what she thought of their first meeting but hey she had to go with it right it was her job to protect him now. She knew every inch of this haunted house she ran corner after corner, hallway after hallway.
" That thing well lets just leave it at huge bear with a hardy dinner for food and right now that is us." Ariel lifted her gun as she ran and started shooting the wall where she had torches to light up as they ran. " Put it this way cujo hates light so light it up and we won't die got it." She took another gun out of her back waistband and handed it to him with a smile. "I am hoping you know how to use this, anyway aim and shoot if you don't. I have torches all around this place that light up once shot at do me a favor and don't ask."
She continued running until she heard a noise from behind her she glanced back and saw that their friend was gaining on them. She turned to him and nodded towards the rest of the way "Get the torches lite I will take care of Cujo." She raised her gun and saw the creature stop for a moment before running towards them she shook her head and smiled. " Now Go Damn It." She pushed him further so he would get the hint and run, not just stand there and look dumbfounded.
Ariel shrugged and raised the gun at the creature, she figured that Jack didn't move and either had his gun raised too or he was too shocked to do so. She aimed and fired five shots at the beast and watched him take three of the and keep running at her "Die already." She fired more shots and then saw the beast slowed down and then turned "Okay so I think we should go now ."
Ariel knew he had questions for her and she should not called him by his name until he tells her his name. She was not sure how she was would answer his questions yet but she had been thinking about it. She knew she couldn't tell him what she was or what was going on around him from what she saw of his dreams and his life he was messed up. She finally reached the outside of the house and closed her eyes letting the other angels know what was going on and what had just happened. She bent down once he was out of the way and lite the protection circle around the house she said a chant and hopefully it works. She stood there watching the house just waiting for something else to strike them while they are down sort of speak. ` Now for the man standing next to her who was a whole different story, she smiled "Okay I know you have questions. That is fine but let me tell you this half of them I won't be able to answer not because I don't want to but because I can't. Oh and I am Ariel by the way." She smiled as she spoke those words before making her way over to a big rock that was by the walkway in to the house. She opened the bag that was sitting there and pulled out a bottle of water and tossed it to him then grabbed on for herself. Ariel took a sip and then sat on the rock , looking around at all the grave stones that were sitting by them. "So for starters there have been things happening that no one knows about, they can't but half the time they don't want to or choose not to notice. Very few people know about what is truly going on, and what is truly out there in the night. I will tell you what I can but my question is are you sure you really want to know."

A bear? Really? Jack could not possibly have mistaken a bear for a dog. A goddamn bear. His luck must have been getting worse by the day. His thoughts were interrupted by a deafening blast of a handgun, and Jack stumbled a little, looking back to see the stranger shooting at the walls. Flashes of memory came back when she handed him the gun; his father, the military man, teaching him to shoot. That had been so many years ago. Did he even remember how to properly shoot a gun?
Light was filling the room; he heard the creature behind them roar in pain. He lifted a hand as he ran, aimed, fired, missed entirely. Okay, it would take a little before it came back. Before he could try again his little friend stopped running, making him skid to a halt as well. Well-armed and knowledgeable or not, he was not going to leave a little girl behind to face his giant Angry Dog mess. She pushed at him, he shifted his weight a little but did not turn and run. ”No way, you’re crazy. Just come with me,” he said, about to reach out and tug on her arm before realizing it would just mess up her aim. He watched as she fired, not raising his own gun because he assumed five rounds would take the creature out. It just sort of slowed it down and made it mad, though.
Then they were running again, Jack aimed at the torches, and actually managed to hit one of the three he shot at. When they reached the door, Jack rammed through it with his shoulder, then slammed it behind them, knowing it wouldn’t hold back the giant monster, but figuring it might slow it down. Then the girl knelt, murmured something he didn’t catch, and light filled the yard. Jack went temporarily blind from it; he heard a roar from inside the house, and his eyes adjusted to the brightness, and he saw no creature storming through the front door. Whatever the girl had done appeared to have worked for now. He stood there, trying to digest the situation for a long moment. He barely caught what she said, he was so overloaded, until she mentioned her name. Ariel.
What were the chances that it was the same name? Jack shook his head briefly, like he was trying to dislodge something stuck in there. Too many weird things in one night. Jack was used to odd occurrences, but this was a bit much.
”What the fuck,” he said. It was not a question. He walked over to her, caught the water bottle she threw him, sat down next to her, immediately sprang up again to pace back and forth. ”No, what the fuck.” He rubbed his hands over his face, blinked rapidly, shook his head, all trying to clear his mind, wake up from whatever dream he was in. Finally, he paused, took a breath. Before he could get his answers, he needed to accept the situation, and come to grips with what had already happened. After a calming moment of considering this, he turned to Ariel, listening to what she told him.
He had been waiting to hear someone say this to him for a long time now. Someone was going to try and explain why Jack noticed such strange things that no one else seemed to care about. Someone was going to tell him what was really going on, what was being kept from him. He quickly walked over to her, kneeling in front of her, looking straight up into her eyes as he said calmly, ”Tonight, the cute little stray dog I tried to catch turned into a giant red-eyed bear monster and took five bullets without slowing down, before getting beaten by some flashlights and fireworks provided by a girl who I dreamed about not two hours earlier. Yes. I am sure I really want to know.”

Ariel looked up at him as he sat next to her she was not sure what to say to him or how to explain to him what was going on. She knew that he needed to know and she felt something when he held on to her inside of the house, she felt a zing go up her entire body. She smirked when she heard him say What the Fuck twice, she shook her head and looked at the house. " Okay so he was not a bear more of a shifter ." She knew she would end up in trouble but her job was to protect so she would with out telling him who or what she was.
"I guess i need to show you how to shoot when we get out of here" She smiled at him as she spoke. She looked up and hoped that he would not have a nervous break down in front of her she had plenty of them when she was alive so she knows how it goes. " What I say next I am worried about how you are going to react." Ariel watched as he stood up and paced back and forth, she watched as he knelt in front of her and spoke about everything. "Actually the fire works were before the bullets, I knew he would only slow down from all of it. He is a lot stronger then what we tossed at him, what i did was just child's play and will most likely piss him off but this spell or chant should keep him inside. "
She sat there looking at him and remembered how she died she was murdered by a creature like this but scarier and more deadly. Ariel looked at him and nodded, "You may want to sit down for this Jack." She took a deep breath and then gathered her thoughts giving him time to gather his. " The whole seeing me in your dreams thing was me, I have the power to reach people and warn them when something bad is going to happen. So you may want to take this in to consideration and listen to me from now on." She smiled at him when she said that last part since they both knew how stubborn he could be.
Ariel had this bad feeling in her gut just now and looked up to see the hairy creature staring at them through the window just watching them , like he was planning his next attack or something. She had a bad feeling about this and then he growled as loud as possible and she covered her ears and then yelled at him "Cover your ears, they have a deadly call when trying to reach a mate."
Ariel was not sure how long she had covered her ears for but the creature was still growling or rather crying out to his mate, she was sick of this she took her gun aimed and fired three more shots yet again, but only two hit the creature this time. She yelled " I don't know about you but i can do this all freaking night I have no where to go." She turned and looked at Jack " Okay so where were we, yes the things that go bump in the night, well they are dark scary and can be anyone or anything so do me a favor and watch your back."
Ariel shook her head and smiled as she took a bag of chips out of her bag she had with her, she opened them and ate some. "Would you like some? So anything you wish to know go head and ask?"

She was worried about how he was going to react. Jack shook his head in disbelief. Considering he hadn’t had a complete meltdown due to the giant beardog yet, he figured he could handle whatever Ariel threw at him. She mentioned that the creature was probably just pissed off, and Jack resisted the urge to turn and look back at the house. He needed to stay focused or his mind would probably explode.
He took her advice when she told him to sit, simply falling back from his kneeling position to sit on the ground. Only then did he notice the gun was still in his hand, and he slowly turned it over, trying to remember what he’d been taught. Slowly at first, but then with assurance, he disassembled the handgun, then put it back together in just a few moments. It almost made him smile. ”Guess I do remember a few things. Just not the important ones.” Like aiming properly. She was right, he had to work on it. Especially if shit like that was crawling around the night.
He knew, when she told him to listen to her, that he shouldn’t trust a total stranger. Particularly one that seemed to be able to invade his dreams. But something about her made him want to. All he could think about was how calm and relaxed his dreams about her had been, and the fact that she always saved him from something. Whatever kind of weird power she had, he thought, it was certainly working on him.
The shifter howled. He barely managed to clap his hands over his ears in time, following her instructions instinctively, still not understanding why he trusted someone he didn’t know. Still, the sound sent an instant headache ricocheting around his brain, and he was immensely grateful when she fired on the monster again. She even screamed at it for good measure; was it because she was venting, or because the thing could actually understand her? So many damn questions. And under normal circumstances, Jack would admire a girl who’d scream in the face of furry death like that, but right now he was a little too distracted to feel any real respect.
”Things that go bump in the night…” he murmured. ”So there is something going on.” More than he realized the whole time, apparently. They could be anyone or anything…that wasn’t going to help Jack’s trust issues. He was still riddled with questions. Just how deep did this thing go. ”What exactly is out there? More of these things? Are there other things I should be worried about?”
Weirdly enough, he noticed her line do me a favor and watch your back. Why was that considered doing her a favor? ”And what are you?” he asked, waving aside the chips she lifted to offer him. “Aside from a crazy girl with way too much confidence when facing down a giant horrifying dog-bear-shifty thing? Are you one of these….bumps in the night?”

Ariel watched him as he took the gun apart and then put it back together, she knew he would still have to relearn how to shoot. "Yeah well I can teach you again how to shoot if you want."She was not sure how that would work out but she would make it since she was his guardian angel and he did not know that yet. Ariel looked at him as he spoke and asked her questions.
"Yes there are other things out there, these things want you dead for some reason. Your dreams may have something to do with it as well as the feeling that you get inside your gut about what else is out side in the night. " She shook her head wondering if she should continue or weather she should let him find out for himself, she decided against the last part. "Vampires and werewolves are the biggest threat so be careful and watch your back. They both come out at night and they are much worse then our furry friend in there."
She stood up when he asked about herself and what she was, she had no clue how to answer that question with out giving away who she really was. "Lets see no I am not one of those things that goes bump in the night, I am on the good side. I am sort of your protector or rather guardian. Look I am a girl with an extra ability so most people call me special."
She was not sure why she told him that much about who or what she was, she would rather not tell him anything but that won't get him to trust her. " so that is what you need to know about me so lets see any thing else." Ariel shook her head and nodded to him then stood up and looked at him ." Okay Jack get up and lets practice your shooting."

She explained things in a way that showed she knew much more about him than he did about her. It made him slightly uncomfortable. Had she been watching him? She’d mentioned the dreams. Not just the ones about her, but she knew about all of them. And the feeling that he’d always had, that something was going on he didn’t know about, right under his nose. How could she have known personal things like that? The dreams he’d talked about, with friends, but never his suspicion about the unknown. He’d been told what he needed to hear; that strange things were going on, that he wasn’t just crazy, but now that one question was answered a whole world of new ones was opened up. Also a new aspect to his life: she’d said the things wanted him dead. Great. Now nighttime had a new edge of fear to it. He would need to start carrying a weapon if giant bear monsters loomed around every corner.
Ariel also had said the words vampire and werewolf with a straight face. Those were a little hard to handle. His first instinct was to laugh, but then again, he was standing in front of an abandoned house with a ring of light surrounding it, hiding from a shadow-loving horror. Maybe those things weren’t such a stretch. It was the kind of information, however, that he would tuck into the back of his mind and deal with later. It was a little too abstract for him to think of. Vague details worked for now; specifics he’d ask about later.
”Guardian…?” he repeated after her, not even really realizing he was speaking out loud. That was vague too, but more problematic. It explained why she’d know so much about him, but not how. Was this “strange power” she spoke of part of it? He didn’t have time to ask before she’d mentioned teaching him to shoot. He needed answers, but he figured the best way to get them was to play along, so he stood, hefting the gun in his hand. He turned toward the house, squinting slightly against the light, seeking out the dog in one of the windows. As he did so, he pried a little deeper, ”No offense, but considering how much you’re spilling to me, it seems a little pointless to keep details about yourself secret. So what special power do you have exactly? Why are you protecting me? Is it your job?” He looked over at her, grinning briefly, shocked that he had any sense of humor left at the moment. ”Or is It just my stunning good looks?”

She smiled at him and laughed "Yeah well if I had a choice I would tell you everything but I can't. I have a boss that sent me here to protect you but I must keep who and what I am a secret for your protection." She sighed and shook her head once again not happy with what has to happen. Ariel was not sure what to do exactly she felt bad about lying to him but that was part of her job lying to people to protect them. He was different she started to feel something when it came to him, she figured it was from watching him these last few months.
Ariel looked up at him " Yes Guardian or protector I am a supernatural but that is all I can tell you. Oh and I am good not evil so lets just leave it at that for the time being." She smiled when he asked her what ability she had, man where to start she thought to herself at that moment. " I have many abilities actually most of which are hard to explain. " Ariel stood behind him and watched through the window to the house watching the beast who was just staring watching them she had to admit it was creepy.
"So why do you think the supernatural want you dead? If you ask me something happened to you when you were younger that you don't remember, and in your dreams you do remember so that could make you a threat. Hmm so do you have friends or any family?" She asked but she already knew the answers to the questions. Sh smiled and watched him shoot the gun, " Try not to flinch when you shoot and keep both eyes open it works better that way.

Oh, perfect. Not only was this random gorgeous girl protecting him, but she had a mystical boss. He couldn’t just pretend that this girl had stumbled across him in the house, saw he needed help, and helped him. Now there was some potentially terrifying VIPs watching over him too. While he appreciated whoever wanted to protect him, he couldn’t help but feel this was because he owed them something. Or that he would, once they saved his life. Like they needed to use him for something. Jack sighed, hoping this wasn’t mob related.
She claimed to be supernatural. Jack made a mental note to look these things up later. She’d mentioned vampires, werewolves, and shifters. But apparently she was none of these things. Well, even if she was unable to tell him, perhaps the internet would.
Jack lifted the gun, squinting and firing, over-anticipating the backlash and flinching against it. It wasn’t as bad as he’d expected, and the second time he fired he took her advice, kept his arms under control, and his aim improved slightly. He must have worried the dog-thing a little, because it shifted slightly, moving to another window. He followed it with his eyes, ready to fire again. The thing was much less threatening when he had a wall of light between them and a weapon in his hand. ”I have no idea why anyone would want me dead, let alone…you know….things that aren’t human,” he said as he took aim. ”I may be kinda rude to some people, but I can’t remember the last time I pissed anyone off enough for them to want to kill me. And if anything happened in my childhood, I don’t remember it. I blocked a lot of it out. Two years or so are gone in a haze of alcohol,” he said with a slight grin, remembering some of his fonder, crazier early teen years. ”You know about the dreams then? I mean, all of them? Not just the ones about you?” he added, glancing sideways at Ariel and lifting an eyebrow.
The friends or family questions spooked him a little. Did she ask because they could be potential threats? Or because they were in danger? He had no family living, at least none that he spoke to. A few friends, but none that he could imagine would be any danger to him. Christian and Ellie were the first two he thought of. ”No family, a couple friends, no one too close. Why? And…what about you?” He’d been about to say the question in a rude way, asking if whatever she was could even have family, but decided at the last second that this girl deserved respect for having saved his life and all. -----

Ariel sat there and watched Jack as he took target practice, she had to admit the he was determined with getting information. She listened as he spoke about how he didn't remember because he had been drinking, she felt as if something happened in his childhood. "Well Jack we will just have to figure out why. Maybe you witnessed something terrible and you blocked it out because it caused you to have trauma issues." She shrugged not knowing she figured it would help although she doubted it.
She smiled at him wandering what his deal was, she felt drawn to him almost as if this was suppose to happen. Ariel remembered that her boss told her to use her powers if she had to in this moment she knew it would be a problem she knew she couldn't use them on this man. "I just watched over you the only time I could see your full dreams are when they were really intense or when you were vulnerable. The rest of the time they were just images or glimpses of color, places and people, somehow you and I formed a connection.
Ariel looked up at him at that time he answered her question saying that he had no family and only a few friends, she felt closer to him at that moment. She took a deep breath before answering the same question and letting him in a little more then normal. Ariel knew she could trust him or rather she wanted to believe she could, however she felt something holding her back. Maybe it was her duty keeping her from sharing herself with him or maybe it was the fact that she didn't want to see his reaction when she told him. the truth.
" I have no family either my parents are dead, no friends either my job doesn't really make room for them unless they are like me. Jack you won't find anything about me online, well other then the fact that technically I am dead and have been for over one hundred years." She sighed and looked down at her feet knowing that she will be in trouble for disobeying her orders. Ariel smiled to herself and figured it couldn't get any worse if she told him the rest about her and the world around him. "Jack there is a lot of things that you don't know about yet, I will tell you everything but first I need to be clear of a few things first."
Ariel took another sip of her bottle of water and looked up at the beast in front of them for a few moments before speaking. "Once you have been marked there is no way to stop it. The supernatural creatures of the night will be coming after you now and you with my help can protect yourself and fight back. One more thing you will have to remember your past those years that you have blocked, we need to find out what happen and what you know." She ate the rest of the chips in the bag she had and took one more breath before she told him the last bit of information.
" I already told you about shape shifters which is what your dog friend over there is a human turned animal but to be honest i have never seen a shifter like our friend over there. Werewolves are some what the same human and then turn during the full moon. Followed by vampires who can come out at any time night or day since they are not affected by daylight and they can only be killed by a stake to the heart. They are the big ones to worry about but don't get me wrong all supernatural are bad well not all because you see there are two sides light and dark or rather good and evil. now next would be witches who can either be good or bad depends on the witch."
Ariel looked up at him every now and then to make sure he was okay and getting everything. " There are other things like immortals, faeries, fire tamers oh and mermaids of course." She spoke the last bit with a smile she always use to love mermaids as a kid, and she wanted to be one when she grew up. " Finally there are angels or better yet the Fallen as they are called. They are angels who have fallen to earth after disobeying God and his orders for them. "
Ariel was not sure how to tell him this last part about her, she couldn't tell about his reaction to everything else. She was not sure if she was ready to hear what he thought about her and what she was and Angel. Ariel had seen what happen when you fell from heaven , for some people it was worth it she also knew what some people thought about Angels. " Then there is what I am a Guardian Angel. I am suppose to stay invisible to my human charge, unless they need me then i become their friend and protect them."
