BambiCleanse my soul. Rid me of actions new and old. Loud clanking footsteps were heard as a person clambered up the hall. It wouldn't have been loud if the place was still open, still buzzing with people waiting to work out or swim. The girl wasn't even sure why she was here. Sure, Bambi was known to go to random places for her so called clients but... this wasn't one of those places. Or the time. Shaking her head, she kept walking to wherever her feet were taking her, her tongue dancing over top of the piercing on her lower lip.
Slowly her feet came to a stop, finally her boots stopped slapping the ground and she opened the door, instantly hit with the fumes of chlorine. You'd think after being left alone for so long it'd smell like nothing and it wouldn't look as pretty. It was pretty enough to swim in. Did she even know how to swim? Bambi wasn't sure... Grandma hadn't taught her... maybe dad did... "No... He never came around enough to have taught me much..."
Pulling at her fishnets, Bambi slandered over to the high board and started up, she wanted to see the world from there, maybe she'd see the whole city from the windows when she got up there. The climb up was slow and terrifying but when she reached the top and sat down, legs straight out in front of her, she couldn't help but smile. Her gray eyes drifted over the board and down towards the water. "I'd love to live in there. It looks so serene."

she giggled softly before then grabbing her duffel bag and heading out, locking the door behind her with eloquent movements. The blonde didn’t know how long it had taken her, or which route she’d taken, but she took one, and she had ended up here, at the Old Gym. The place where she knew mermaids liked to come and keep the pool nice and clean and shimmering for others. Most of the time it seemed to really only be mermaids too in the pool, other times there would be other various species, but she had always just met another mermaid there or anything. Wrinkling her nose as she silently entered through a back door, she called out softly, her own origins coming into play, a sweet, melodic voice escaping her lips, “Hello, is anyone here?” It was the locker room, another part where the mermaids preferred to go and change. Like she was about to go. Changing from the warmer, winter clothing she had been wearing and into a red bikini then pulled on a white cover-up before sliding on her flip-flops and putting all her things into the duffel bag she’d brought, and stepped deeper into the locker room. A small smile blessed her features when she noticed a note from someone earlier most likely. Pausing, she plucked it off of the wall, and it told her mainly to keep an eye out for some witches who had been coming here lately. Frowning slightly, the blonde put it back up on the wall, as the small mermaid magic protected the note from others’ eyes. Good, she wasn’t in the mood to be dealing with too much people today if she could help it. It was just more of a “me” type day. She’d gone diving in the ocean yesterday that had been thrilling, since the chilly water didn’t matter all that much once she got deep down enough. Not that it bothered mermaids much all that either, they lived deep underwater anyway. Tying her hair back into a bun (see above), the blonde reached into her bag and checked for her iPod speakers as well as her iPhone, the new phone from the Verizon phone service. How lovely, she smiled when she realized she had both of them. Upon starting to exit the locker room, she suddenly stopped, with the door cracked ever so slightly, her red fingernails pressed silently on the wooden frame of the door. Did she just hear someone speak? Gulping, the blonde then peered around the corner to spy a girl, in fishnets up on the diving board. The higher one too. Bright emerald eyes narrowed in displeasure, since she’d wanted some time alone, though she shrugged it off. Oh well, she had to be a supernatural, after all, no humans would ever dare to come here. Pausing slightly, she then heard her speaking. Was she alone or not? Peeking through the tiny crack between the door and the frame, the blonde didn’t see anyone else, oh, probably talking to herself. How wonderful. Hoping she wasn’t too…into that, the blonde then pushed the door open all the way after a moment, and stopped, eyes meeting the girl up on the board, who had said she’d wanted to live down there, in the water. “Well, I’m sure a witch can help you with that.” she smiled softly, in an understanding manner, before she then set her duffel bag down and approached the pool, slipping off her flip-flops, lifting her gaze to meet the one of the girl up higher than her. “Mind if I ask what brought you here today, to the pool?” she ran her hand along the water, which that wouldn’t turn her to her mermaid state, but on her legs one droplet could. Untying a part of the cover-up, she mused, “I hope you don’t mind…” she spoke softly, a sing-song voice escaping her lips as she spoke towards the girl in front of her. Personally she hoped she wouldn’t get ticked and make her leave. No, she was going to stay right here, after all, mermaids had more of a right to be here than this girl did. A hand raised and brushed against the pearl necklace around her neck, before the blonde then approached the water, crouching down by the sparkling, shimmery surface beneath her. It was nothing like she ever knew when she got to swim, even if it was inside once in awhile, mainly because also, this was heated and all of it was always warm. Plus the moonlight outside which lit it up like flames, was picturesque. Sighing softly, she then slid off her cover-up, before the mermaid slid into the water. Nothing happened. No sparks, no magical glow, she just went under slightly, keeping her hair dry though as she didn’t let her head go under, hanging onto the wall as she then felt her legs go stone cold and hard for a brief moment, before they fused together. That’s how it always felt when she transformed. It wasn’t painful, just – weird. It almost felt sensational in a way, mainly because, this was a more natural form for her probably. Allowing her fin to flex and let the blood course through it beneath the water, she peered up at the girl, “I have an extra towel or two in my bag, if you wanted to get your feet wet or something.” she offered, not wanting to leave the girl out. Disappearing below the glimmer surface for a moment, a splash could be seen as a mixture of purples and greens of a tail could be seen disappearing into the water below. She dove down to the deep-end, and scanned around lazily, before sighing, and resurfacing. When she did that, it was different for various mermaids, probably depending on their blood, but sometimes they coughed the water up when they surfaced, or it just worked itself out of their body. That’s what happened with her, so she just surfaced, and exhaled slowly, before inhaling the air, eying the girl, “I’m Sara, I’m sorry if I didn’t mention that earlier.” [/BLOCKQUOTE][/BLOCKQUOTE][/ul] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - TAG icy!
