This is why I don't think

So I've got a crazy, overactive mind that doesn't like to shut off. Which is why I have so many characters. Anyways. I was thinking because that's what I do and here's what I came up with. Feel free to completely ignore these but here we go.

New species.

DEMONS

Since we have something that's pure good (angels), it only makes sense to have something that's pure evil. Demons - like angels and fallen angels - are immortal. The original demons (and by original I mean straight from heaven to hell) were fallen angels who took it a step further. Those original demons reproduced to make a pure race - if you'd like to call it that. Original and born demons are told apart by the scars: original demons have the scars from missing wings while born do not. Like guardian angels, they can choose to appear invisible and also can't feel the touch of another. Born demons have the characteristic trait of black eyes. They're no constantly black, but they do flash black (especially when the demon is about to do something particularly evil). Original demons can only be killed by guardian angels but born demons can be killed by a special blade.

GHOSTS

I'm more excited about this one. Here we go. Ghosts are obviously restless spirits of the dead. For this site, this is what I'm thinking: Ghosts are able to make themselves solid for a certain length of time. The longer you have been a ghost, the longer you can hold this. While solid, ghosts can touch objects and others. While a ghost, they can only be touched by other ghosts. They cannot be killed in the traditional sense because they're already dead, but can be exorcised by the right person and can also "move on" once they figure out what is holding them to the earth.

I do like these, a lot. Especially the ghosts, and I don't thank you for giving me an idea for another character. Haha. I will speak to Jurate about this and see. ^^

Oh! I love these ideas! Very nice and original, and since I'm trying to think of how to make the plot more interesting and stuff, we could include these species in the main plot and stuff. Having an overactive mind is beneficial you know Heh, see what you can come up with? Well worth it :L

Is there any particular way you would like these species to be viewed. Obviously, demons are purely evil, but ghosts, clueless? Selfish only wanting to move on? Or just like haunting people etc?

So ignore how weird this looks...trying to use my iPod.anyways for ghosts alliance or whatever,I was thinking either neutral.they'd kind of be apathetic towards the whole war thing considering neither outcome would really affect them.I could see them making decisions based on whatever will cause the most trouble.and then of course there's vengeful spirits who haunt people.could almost make two separate categories: the ones that haunt people and had most likely been murdered by someone and then those that just wander.

Also,forgot to add with the whole turning solid thing, the ghost would be able to hold that state longer not only based on age,but also distance.meaning,if the ghost is closer to either where it died or where it is currently buried,it can hold a solid state longer.as far as ghost weaknesses,exorcism works,but certain charms and thing would ward off spirits (especially those with evil intentions.

Yay! I'm glad that people are liking these ideas! I was afraid that no one would be all that fond of the random musings of my messed up mind.This is totally making me want another character. After I promised myself I wouldn't. I honestly think I'm just going to start writing bios and offer them up to people who are too lazy to think of a character. Otherwise I'm gonna drive myself crazy.
