THE BIO

Ryden here is a pretty nice guy if a little on the quieter side. Seeing as he's for the light side I can see him being friends with both humans and others fighting on the same side. It takes a little longer to really get to know the real Ryden but anyone who is persistent enough and manages to get through that wall of his will have a friend for eternity. Best friend(s), acquaintances and all that jazz are wanted for sure. Open for pretty much anything!

As far as love goes Ryden holds a rather meloncholy and slightly cynical view on the whole thing. This talk about everyone having a 'soulmate' seems a bit too good to be true and frankly, the last time he let himself love someone things didn't end too well for either of them. He's not the sleeping around type but he's not against a hookup now and again if the moment is right. Deep down he'd really like to find out if there really is one special person out there for him but opening himself up to find her is not something that comes easily for him anymore. I'm definitely wanting to find someone who could be Ryden's soulmate so hit me up either here or through a PM if you want in on that. Other than that I'm this boy is pretty much up for whatever you can think of in the romance department.

And last but not least those dreaded enemies. Honestly Ry's more of a watch and observe, stay on the sidelines kind of guy and tries to stay out of trouble if at all possible. The one thing that can get him riled up is if someone he cares about is in trouble or at the center of some sort of conflict. I can imagine there would also be a few darksiders who might not be enemies but certainly not people he spends much time with. Once again I'm open for anything here as well. So hit this boy up!

Pretty sure these guys would be enemies. My poor Asher has no friends. His own fault I guess. Anyways, Asher is, in simple terms, a spoiled brat. He's rude, inconsiderate, and self-entitled with a temper. Asher would probably try to start something with Ryden, considering that he's on the light side and all, but Ryden would probably just blow him off as an immature kid. Which, of course, would only cause Asher to dislike him even more, but he wouldn't try anything again for fear of looking like a fool. So a mutual dislike and avoidance.

ellie&ryden

This girl takes her time warming up to people. She's usually friendly but reserved. I'm thinking they meet one morning while she's out on a run with her dog and (because in his bio it says he likes dogs), Ryden feels the unusual want of starting up a conversation with Ellie. She might be a tad bit rude at first simply because he interrupted his run, but would eventually quit the act and have a decent conversation with him. And once she found out he was a fallen (Ellie knows about the supernatural world cause she's involved with an immortal), she'd be absolutely fascinated by all his experiences. See, Ellie is a history buff and loves talking to those who are immortal, because what's better than getting first account history?

cade&ryden

Definitely buddies. I don't see how they can't be; Cade's friends with almost everyone and likes it that way. Both of them fell from heaven due to loving a human as well, so they have that to bond over as well. They probably keep meeting up and are best of friends when they do. Though Ryden might be a little jealous/cynical of the fact that Caden has found his soulmate. So friends with a slight rift between them, that Cade isn't completely aware of because he's a little oblivious. My guy here would be all love struck and such, saying thigns like, "Come on, Ryden, there's someone out there for you!" Eventually, all will be well though.

evan&ryden

Little Evan here is completely oblivious to everything. He has no clue that anything other than humans exist in the world. Evan would probably pick up on the fact that Ryden is more of the quiet, calm guy and try everything in his power to change that (though what can he really do when Ryden has been the same way for centuries?). Because of that, Evan can come off as a slight annoyance to Ryden, but most likely a small one since the guy has lived for hundreds of years and one small human is just a blip on the radar. Maybe Ryden views Evan as a younger siblings of sorts, in the sense that he may be annoying, but is still tolerable. I don't know...I think they could be funny. The image of the two that I'm getting in my mind right now is of Ryden being an old dog who just wants to sleep and Evan being a bouncy puppy trying to play. So weird.

darby&ryden

Darby, if she were to hear of her cousin's stupid grudge towards the fallen, would feel as if she has to apologize because of him. While Asher is an ass most of the time, he and Darby get along pretty well and Darby has seen the kinder side of him that he hates to show people. So I could see my little firetamer trying to explain this to Ryden, but failing horribly because 1) she's not all that great at talking to mostly strangers to begin with and 2) how is she supposed to sound articulate around such a hot guy? I dunno what else. Miss Ellis is so shy.

I'm thinking you're right about these two being enemies. Not necessarily arch rivals or anything but I can definitely see there being some unhealthy tension and dislike between these two. Ryden would consider him to be just like you said; a spoiled kid and basically just ignore his attempts to start anything like he normally does. Still he would probably try to avoid the other boy if he could if only to escape any other unpleasant situations. Plus he doesn't have much patience for people he finds annoying. So mutual dislike and avoidance it is.


RYDEN & ELLIE[/color][/font]

I'm liking the idea of these two running into each other at the park. I think it'd be kind of amusing if maybe her dog somehow gets away from her and ends up crossing Ryden's path first and that's where he finds himself striking up the conversation about the animal. He'd be suprised to find out she knows that other creatures exist in the world and would be amused at her enthusiasm over hearing about his life's experiences so far. He doesn't really consider it all that interesting you see. And once he found out she was involved with an immortal he wouldn't try and talk her out of it but he'd definitely advise her to make sure that was what she wanted because living forever wasn't as amazing as people would like to think it was.


RYDEN & CADE[/color][/font]

There is no way these two can be anything but friends. The fact that they're both fallen and for the same reason is enough to make Ryden feel more of a bond with the guy than anyone else. And I'm definitely thinking there would be a certain amount of jealousy/cyncism on Ryden's part as far as Caden having found his soulmate was concerned. Deep inside he'd be happy that his friend finally found that one person he's meant to be with but he'd wouldn't admit that to his face. Secretly though seeing Caden so happy actually makes him want to find his own soulmate, even if he isn't sure he believes there is such a thing out there.


RYDEN & EVAN[/color][/font]

So I can see that dynamic between these two being fairly hilarious. At first Ryden would probably find Evan to be one of the most annoying humans on the face of the earth and do his best to ignore him and assume he'd just go away like everyone else does. When that doesn't do a thing is when Ryden would probably take a second look if only because he'd want to know why this kid was trying so hard. And thus begins what would definitely be a very brotherly relationship between these two. Ryden would act like he found Evan annoying most of the time but when it comes down to it he'd do whatever it took to protect him. Especially seeing as the poor boy has no clue just what sort of things live all around him.


RYDEN & DARBY[/color][/font]

These two would definitely be interesting together seeing as neither is very outgoing or the first to strike up a conversation. However, I can see Ryden liking that about her since it would mean she wasn't trying to get into his business or force him to be something he's not. He'd probably have a hard time understanding her insistance about defending Asher mainly because he just can't see the guy being anything but an ass but he'd hear her out. I'm not sure if you already have anything going for her in the romance department but I can see a bunch of cuteness happening between them the more they got to know each other. Either way I think they'd definitely become good friends with time if not more. <3[/blockquote]

Her dog is such a stupid lug. Duke (the puppy in question) probably saw a squirrel or something and went tearing after it. Ellie would definitely be rude towards Ryden at first. I doubt she'd even say thanks to him for helping her catch Duke, simply because she would argue that she could've gotten him eventually. Ryden shouldn't take offense to that though; Ellie's like that with anyone who tries to help her. To his face, she'd probably disregard his opinion on immortal life but would honestly think about it. I think they'd be funny.

cade&ryden

Love it! I can see Cade introducing Ryden to girls left and right in an attempt to try to help him find his soulmate. She's gotta be out there somewhere, right? And it's not like she's just gonna appear out of thin air. Ryden might get a little sick of it, but Caden sure as hell wouldn't. He'd think it was fun. Silly fallen angel.

Aw, good! Evan needs someone to protect him; he seems drawn to stupid things...almost as if he has no self preservation instinct. I like the idea of Ryden acting like Evan is just an annoyance most of the time. It'd probably make him more annoying just because he likes to get a reaction.

I was just playing things by ear with her, so little Miss Darbs here is open in the romantic spectrum. Their future would contain all sorts of cute awkwardness because she has no idea how to interact with the opposite gender. Hell, she's completely lost when it comes to interacting at all. But aw...it's making me so happy just thinking about it <3

They met, and Sara would probably be pretty good friends with Ryden. -- I can see a relationship like with them just being really good platonic friends, and Sara certainly wouldn't mind trying to be the type to get Ryden out in the world, take him out with her and Cade to meet girls. xD That would be fun! Cade and Sara can take Ryden out to a party or something, so he can socialize. XD

I think that sounds like a pretty good idea. Them meeting by way of Ry getting her out of a bit of trouble would be pretty fun me thinks. He helps her out and after all is good they part ways only to meet up again a few weeks later in a similar fashion. So I can definitely see him looking out for her in the future in an older brother sort of way. ^^

Yep, definitely buddies these two. I can see Cade and Christian being his two closest friends just because they share that common bond of being immortal and can all relate. The kind of friends you know will always have your back.

That hatred would definitely be mutual. Even if Wes wasn't the way he was just the simply fact that he's a hunter would be enough to put him on Ryden's black list. I don't think Ryden would really be intimidated by him but there would be a healthy respect for what the guy does and he'd probably avoid him if at all possible.

Whereas Tristian would resent Ryden for losing his wings, Ryden would probably feel some sort of wistfulness/bitterness at the way the guardian reminds him of what he used to be. Still he wouldn't hate the guy and like you said I can see them being friends, not best buddies or anything but they would get along decently enough.

I'm up for the hatred though the girl he was in love with and became a fallen because of it died during WWII in a concentration camp. Buuuut, I'm thinking maybe she did something else that caused such hatred between them. Perhaps they had a mutual friend and Ryden of course would have tried to warn this friend that Allegra was no good but she had this friend convinced otherwise and in the end either turned that friend or let them be killed/killed them herself.
