Staring at the opposite street where the dumpster was, Fletcher shook his curly hair and remembered what happened to his bike that dreadful day. Sighing he shoved his hands in his pockets and pressed the red flashing button on the sidewalk to get ready to cross the street. When the person walking appeared on the screen Fletcher casually stepped onto the white and black paved road and continued towards the small but amusing town multiplex up ahead. Freezing for a moment he didn't know if he had brought his wallet with him or even cash.Cursing under his breath he drew a fire smoke out of his mouth like a dragon before cooling down feeling for his wallet and sunglasses.
Craning his neck to see the different places the complex had to offer he propped his sunglasses onto his shaggy head of hair and saw a neon pink and blue sign that caught his attention.Without stopping to see what is was he gladly pulled the double doors and immediately knew where he was already;the over fried fast food, gaming effects sounding at every corner and kids screaming this way and that. Smirking his crooked grin he knew he was going to stay awhile, reaching into his back pockets of his jeans he felt his wallet and pulled it out opening it to reveal ten dollars.Enough for food and some games,He merely thought to himself and dropped his black wallet back into his pockets.Making his way towards the food court which was ever so crowded he saw workers with visor like hats and were looking very happy go lucky, which was supposeply their job.Ordering large fries and a shake he paid the cashier, grabbed his change and carried the tray over near the prize wall where he sat down at a table observing the toys in the glass.

that night he caged herbruised and broke her Wide brown eyes darted all around the city around her. The heels upon her feet clicking under every step she took, not really paying attention to the area she was headed for. Ever since arriving from France, all she had been doing was just feeling the town out. It wasn't as big as the town her aunt lived in, but it was enough to get used to. This was her first time even being in America, so it was all new to her. Whenever she did speak, they all questioned her odd accent. It was a mixture of her native tongue, Spanish, and the language she had become very accustomed to, French. Sometimes it seemed to be difficult for others to understand her, and it was frustrating at first. Her English was exceptional for never have stepping foot on American grounds, so she had no idea why she got weird looks. And quite frankly, she could care less. It was just happening randomly and the thought had just occured to her as she stopped to look at the scenery around her.
She seemed to be in some type of plaza. Then her wide eyes looked over at the stores and arcades around her. And finally the sounds kicked in, she winced as a child was crying next to her. He was screaming his head off as his mother dragged him by the arm. Then the sweet aroma of food hit her. She began to walk again, noticing she was in a food court. Eva checked for any type of system that might spray water. She had to dart away from a sprinkler that had went off randomly when she was walking across the grass. Evalisse had basically did some type of spy move and dived out of the way as fast as she could. It was a frightening moment, and was the first real scare she got. Apparently this town was full of the more supernatural types, but the humans didn't seem to know. They were naive and stupid, like she used to be.
Evalisse walked more into the food court, trying to see what they actually had to offer to eat. She ran hand to flatten down the top of her hair. It was pulled back in a tight bun. She began to walk closer into the food court, tripping over a chair leg as she walked. Eva apologized to a boy sitting down eating his fries, probably have annoyed him from her clumsiness. He was adorable, he had tan and had dark curly hair. For a second she caught herself staring at him, but stopped herself and kept walking. She felt like a giant in the heels she was wearing. Eva was reaching six foot from the height it added to her. She sighed, chewing on her nails nervously. She felt like a small child in this big place. Evalisse wanted to order something, but she felt nervous to actually approach someone.
Eva began to pace around the food court slowly, trying not to seem like she was just standing there like an idiot. She didn't even know what to order. Evalisse looked around the people sitting down to the people over by the arcade. She knew she was stalling. Maybe if she just spoke to one of the people sitting down she could try and ease herself of her nervousness. She knew how all this stuff worked, since it was similar all over the world. But still, this was the first time she was actually alone. So she felt... Well alone. Evalisse starting muttering curses in Spanish under her breath, and leaned against an empty table. It wobbled slightly under her weight and she almost fell with it, but she stopped herself before it could. Eva bit down on her bottom lip and her eyes fell upon the tan boy again. Maybe she could speak with him.
Before she could even think of deciding she was heading over there and was standing over him looking down at him eating. She wanted to run away and she felt her ears turning red from embarrassment. She chewed on her nails nervously, looking away awkwardly."Excuse me, but this is going to sound so stupid.. But uh...
" Eva paused for a second to run her hand over the top of her hair and look down bashfully, muttering her Spanish curse words again." Can I just sit here? Because... Oh my god I sound stupid. I'll leave you alone. I'm so sorry." She said quickly, throwing her hands out and then looking back down at the ground. Eva was scared he wouldn't even be able to understand her, because she had said it so quickly it all just blurred together. Plus her accent didn't help much. Her accent was still pretty thick. Eva looked down at the young boy nervously. Why the hell would she approach a boy who was much younger than her and expect him to just be like "yeah join me"? Evalisse knew she looked like a huge pedophile and just wanted to run away. This was just horrible. She would imagine any other boy to just loved for her to even smile at him. But this boy seemed sense-able and respectful. Not perverted and sex crazed like other teenagers. She had come along a lot of teenage boys over the few weeks she had been there. They would gawk at her whenever she politely smiled or even just walked by. She suspected them to just be humans, because she knew other guys would be used to the exotic women of the other species. God, she didn't even know if this boy was human or not. Eva hated how she didn't even think it over before approaching him. This was a huge mistake. Why was she still even standing there? She usually let these kind of situation go by her with a breeze, but she was still trying to figure the town out, so of course she was a little on edge about things. She looked down back at the boy, actually looking at him then. He seemed to be about seventeen, maybe eighteen and was just quietly eating his fries by himself. Why did she even disturb him? He was doing perfectly fine. But maybe she'd make his day by talking to him. She didn't know. Eva figured she needed to make friends, so awkwardly approaching people could be a start. It wasn't like she wasn't trying. Because she was. Life was just so much harder being on her own. She missed her family.
