Arabella woke with a start as she heard something crash nearby. Her eyes were glowing and scanning the room for an intruder. No one was there, she then looked to the floor to see what crashed. There on the floor was a red vase that flowers in it. She looked out her bedroom door and down the hall she saw her cat staring at her. "Oh Lilly." Arabella said and shook her head at the cat. Quickly and gracefully she hoped off her bed and crouched near the vase, avoiding the water that kept the flowers alive. She muttered a few words and the vase was back together in one piece and the water and flowers were back in. Arabella then put the vase back on the table where it fell from. She walked out of the room to her orange and white cat. "Why'd you knock over my vase?." She asked. Lilly just meowed in response, her gold eyes staring up at her. "You hungry?" Arabella questioned that cat. Again, Lilly meowed and then rolled on her stomach. Arabella smiled and started walking down stairs.
When she got to the kitchen there was a note on the table with her name on it. It was from her sister Anne telling her she'd be out for the weekend with some friends. Arabella pursed her lips but relaxed when she gave where she was staying and the home phone number, telling her she would check in with her every couple of hours. She smiled to herself, her sister knew her well. Besides Anne was 17, exactly one year younger than her. Whatever Arabella knew, Anne knew as well. Anne could take care of herself if anything went wrong. However Arabella knew a little more than her sister, she excelled as a witch much more quickly than Anne. She was able to take in the information and do it with one or two tries. It took her sister at least a dozen tries to do it. She really didn't know why that was, maybe Arabella had more of her fathers blood in her. Her fathers family was much more powerful than her mothers. It would make sense since she looked more like her dad and Anne looked more like her mother.
When Lilly meowed it brought her out of her thoughts. She walked over to the food bowl finding it empty. When she took out the cat food she realized it was nearly empty. She poured the rest of the food out in lilly's dish and threw the bag in the trash. She then filled up the water bowl since it was running really low. She would have to make a run to the pet store and get food pronto. After that Arabella started to look for her own breakfast. She didn't feel like cooking anything so she settled on cereal with little marshmallows in it. She ate a big bowl of it and burped loudly at the end, then giggling to herself. She then prances up the stairs back into her bedroom. Arabella quickly made her bed and twirled over to her closet. She glanced outside and it was extremely sunny. She picked out yellow shorts with a white of the shoulder shirt that showed her dragon tattoo on her left shoulder blade. For shoes she went with cute yellow platforms that weren't to high. She put on her many rings and jingly bracelets as well.
When she left her house it was nicer than she expected. It wasn't to hot, and there was a nice breeze. Since she only lived a couple blocks from the pet store Arabella decided to walk. She was a very active person, always running every single day. If she went to highschool she would have been on the track team. Arabella loved her neighborhood, the people in it were always smiling. Right now she saw a father trying to teach his daughter how to ride a bike across the street. A pang of sadness and jealousy washed through her. Arabella wished she still had her father with her, so he could've taught her how to ride a bike. But in life, things aren't always smiles and happiness. She tore her eyes away from the picture perfect scene and focused to where she was going.
When she entered the pet store the bell made a ring sound which she always loved. She thought it was really cute, but she also liked it because it warned her who was entering. Out of habit she spotted the back door exit and the exit behind the cash register. Arabella was very keen on those things so if anything did go wrong she could escape. She made no notice that she was on guard, just a casual glance at both of them. She went down the food isle and looked at the cat food. The only thing they had in stock was the small size and the large size. If she got the small size she could carry it home easily but she didn't want to come back and get more. If she got the large size then it would take a lot of work for her to lug it all the way to her house. "I should have just took the car." Arabella muttered to herself. She then wondered if they had a medium size in back. Quickly she made her way to the front. Before she actually got there she crashed into someone, losing her balance and falling to the floor.

He watched her, the sunlight creeping in through the blinds, falling across her bed. Her chest rose and fell with constant and steady breathing. She was beautiful, even unconscious. But he was growing impatient after a short while longer. She had slept enough. He wanted to see her alive and alert. He wanted to see those lovely eyes, that easy way she did everything. So he did what he knew best. Reaching over towards a table, in the dim light of morning Guzzy deftly knocked over the vase of flowers, grinning slightly to himself as he heard the crash. Discord was a lovely melody. As expected, Arabella awoke quickly, almost wildly, looking around for the source of the noise. Her eyes passed right through him and Guzzy felt a twinge of excitement. If he weren't invisible to her eyes at the moment, she would have looked right at him. With all of her common sense, Arabella blamed the cat and though Guzzy was positive that she knew he frequented her house, she didn't acknowledge his antics on occasion. Perhaps this was one of those times. Her ignoring him just to piss him off.
He liked it.
Or she genuinely thought that it was the cat. He glanced over at the creature in sheer loathing. Wretched animal. He didn't much care for cats when he was alive, although there once was a stray that he'd grown quite attached to. Orange like this one. An adorable tabby that never ceased her mewing until he threw her some sort of scraps. Arabella addressed her own pet once more, asking if the thing was hungry and of course the animal voiced its concerns about being hungry before she moved downstairs. Guzzy followed Arabella into the kitchen, sitting himself cross-legged on the table, watching her go about her business. The first thing that she had noticed was the note. He saw it already. It was from her little sister. She was a sweet girl and he was sure that she tried her best to be like her older sister. But she was never quite there, really. She was a good kid from what he could see though, with a good head on her shoulders. Raising her wouldn't be too much of an issue for Arabella.
The cat's incessant meowing pulled Arabella from her thoughts and Guzzy watched the girl feed the animal. It moved quickly to its food, swallowing it down as if it hadn't been fed in days. It had been, of course. But Guzzy had come to the conclusion that it was a selfish little creature that cared only of its food. Silly creature. Funny though, being that Arabella was a witch. A witch with a cat. Now wasn't that a cliché. He commended her on the adorable choice of companionship and how fitting it all was. He'd give her at least that. Arabella sat down to have her own breakfast and Guzzy watched her eat, smiling in an amused sort of way at her belch. She was different from other girls. She didn't hide from silly things that were deemed "unladylike." The girl lived for herself and her sister. Nothing and no one else. It intrigued and excited him, her need to be separate from a society who judged primarily upon looks and money. Two things that she had both of, coincidentally. With her breakfast finished, Arabella ran back upstairs to prepare for her day and Guzzy followed like a lovesick puppy dog. He probably shouldn't have watched her change but he didn't bother playing the part of the gentleman at that moment. She was beautiful and things of beauty were to be admired thoroughly, dressed and undressed. That's how he reasoned everything, anyway.
The sun was out. Not that it mattered to him. He couldn't feel the warmth unless he was in a solid form and even then it felt different, as if it was far away. It was there but untouchable. It was... difficult to explain. He couldn't quite manage it. He himself was not an extremely eloquent man. He tried and occasionally succeeded in sounding smarter than he was, but it was nothing serious when he accomplished it. He always fell back into his usual vulgarity and colloquialism immediately afterward. It wasn't that he was uneducated. He managed to finish high school. He just didn't have any desire to retain much of the vocabulary he'd picked up in English. Hell, he wasn't going to be a diplomat. Why in the world did he need to sound like one? And his friends tended to like him even more so because of it. Guzzy didn't want or need to sound more intelligent than all of his buddies. In fact, he was often times the butt of their jokes and he took the insults with a good-natured laugh and a well-placed middle finger. He was just a laid back kind of guy and that stuff didn't tend to bother him.
Arabella walked on into the local pet store and Guzzy didn't follow quite yet. This was it. He was going to meet her, officially. Instead of stalking her, irritating her and wishing she'd say hello to him, he was going to introduce himself. Not as the ghost that had been plaguing her home for the past couple of months. Just as Guzzy. And then maybe he'd reveal who he was. But he won't tell her that he'd seen her half-naked. That should probably never come up in conversation. Moving around a corner so that he wouldn't be seen, Guzzy shut his eyes for a mere second before opening them and being greeted by his dulled, human-like senses. He felt the sun and the breeze that he hadn't noticed before. It blew his long hair about his face and Guzzy almost forgot why he was standing by himself around the corner of the pet store in the first place. And then it hit him and he almost scrambled into the store in his excitement. He searched in a spastic sort of way for Arabella, peering into the aisles one by one. Turning a corner, he managed to find the girl. Unfortunately, she had crashed right into him and their combined momentum had tossed her to the floor. He stared down at the blonde, horrified by the unlucky and clumsy greeting. "Oh, fuck. Damn. I'm so sorry. I wasn't paying attention at all. That's... Here."
Guzzy reached out and grabbed her hand--it was warm, alive, his own feeling rather cold and lifeless in comparison--pulling her up from the ground. He didn't release her hand for another couple seconds, so taken aback by her close proximity. She was actually looking at him now. It was wonderful. Dropping her hand hurriedly, he shoved his own into his pockets and grinned, "I'm really clumsy. Sorry about that. I'm not that purposefully violent. I'm kind of a big guy and when the top of you is six feet and seven inches from the ground, you tend to wreak a lot of havoc..."

Arabella's temper flared and she was about to snap at the person but the moment she saw him her anger disappeared. He was extremely tall, and extremely handsome. She was bit unnerved on how attracted she was to him. She was never the girl to date, she had to many priorities on her hands. Arabella always used that as her excuse when her sister tried and made her date. But in truth she and her sister were grown up, the only priority she had was to make sure no one messed with them. It wasn't like Anne couldn't take care of herself, and had to have Arabella's full attention. Arabella was just scared of commitment, to have a long relationship. That meant that they could mean something to her and they could be taken away from her like her parents. She didn't want to have to experience that again. That's why if she did date a guy it was only a one night thing. But looking at this guy she didnt want to chance hurting his feelings by leaving him the next day. After a moment she noticed she was staring and finally took his hand.
"It's fine, I'm okay" Arabella said blushing slightly "Thanks." She cursed herself in her head for being so flustered around this stranger. She had never felt like this, around anyone else. She was also shocked to find his hand so cold, surely he wasn't a vampire. Arabella noticed he held onto her hand a little more than necessary. She didn't feel uneasy by his touch like she would anyone else and that made her frown slightly. The only person she felt like this was a warlock, he ended up moving far away. He had said he would come back but he never did so that gave her another reason for her not to trust guys. Arabella knew all guys weren't like that, this one in particular seemed to be very different. He looked at her with adoring eyes, like a child who just woke up on Christmas day and she was the gift. Arabella couldn't help smile at him, his personality just rubbed off on her. She smiled when he made fun of his tallness. She looked at him from head to toe, she liked tall guys. She refrained from bitting her lip, she really did like tall guys.
"Don't worry I'm fine," Arabella laughed "you didn't beat me up to bad." She flashed him a smile and dusted off herself. She paused as she tried to remember why she was going the way she was. Arabella took at the shelf next to her, she couldn't concentrate when she looked at the guy in front of her. She then remembered she went to ask for a bag of medium cat food. They most likely didn't, suddenly Arabella got an idea. She looked at the tall man before her with a flirtatious grin. "But now you have to do me a favor, since you tossed me so violently to the floor." Arabella said with a wink. She led him over to the cat food and pointed to the large bag. There was no way she could lug that back to her house. Arabella was graced with quickness, not strength. She could have used her magic to levitate it and bring it to her house. But that would be a very bad idea. She tried to fit in as much as possible in normal life. Anne did a better job at since she was just so bubbly and giggly. Arabella was very friendly but she held humans at a distance, never trusting them.
She really didn't know if this fella was a human, he seemed it. But she made note of his coldness. "I was stupid enough to walk here, and there is no way my small body can carry this." Arabella said nudging the large cat food bag with her foot. "And since your so very tall." she said looking him up and down "You must be very strong so if you wouldn't mind carrying this to my house with me." Arabella smiled at him, she wouldn't mind getting to know him. She was flirting to much with him, she had to play hard to get. She usually did that with guys, but it was hard for Arabella with this particular guy. She felt to drawn to him, maybe she was under a spell. Maybe he was a warlock and wanted to woo her. She highly doubted it though, she would know if a spell was being put on her."So you can grab that and bring it to the front please." Arabella said with a wink and a smile. God she had to turn it down a bit. She turned and started walking down the isle towards the front. "I'm Arabella by the way." she called over her shoulder with a smile.

He'd seen it at first. That second or two when she had nearly been compelled to shout at him even from her place on the ground. Even lying flat on the floor, having been knocked down by a clumsy ghost that had almost grown unused to his tall frame, she still had so much dignity. So much power. He would have accepted the verbal abuse without complaint, without question. Hell, he probably would have reveled in it and begged for more. Arabella was something else entirely. Perhaps it was because she lived alone, just her and her sister. He didn't know why it was the way it was. But it must have been something terrible or life changing. Perhaps they had always been orphans and had grown up with just the two of them all their lives. Or maybe their parents had been killed in a car accident. Or their parents left them both once Arabella came of age and decided to go and see the world. He didn't know. He hoped that he could find out. And when Arabella checked herself, suddenly losing that fire in her eyes that she had been so close to unleashing on Guzzy, he felt his hopes soar.
Instead of blowing up at him, she dismissed his apologies, thanked him for having apologized at all and then did something involuntarily that would have made his heart pound were he still technically alive. It was very subtle, but it was there. The flush in her cheeks. Blood had slowly risen to her face, a response that said she was embarrassed or even perhaps interested. It disappeared almost as quickly as it came but Guzzy did not let the sight leave his mind. She was lovely when she blushed, even so slightly as that. When he moved to help her, however, he noticed her brow furrow slightly, mouth thinning into something of a frown. Did he do something wrong? Perhaps the lack of warmth in his touch had spooked her a bit. Perhaps it had made her think of the cold spots in her house where Guzzy had frequented. He waited patiently for the moment to pass after having dropped her hand and thankfully, it did. She suspected nothing. Maybe the earlier reaction had been in regards to some completely unrelated thought in her head.
Arabella reassured him that she was all right and Guzzy only kept smiling in response. It was hard to form words in front of this young woman. Technically, none of what she said had required much talk in return anyhow. At least, not quite yet. And then she mentioned that he had to do her a favor and Guzzy had to contain his excitement. She winked at him and his answer was sealed, "Yeah. Of course! Whatever you need, I'm all about it. It's the least I can do, right?" He had a sneaking suspicion that he knew what it was that she wanted him to do. But he pretended that he was none the wiser, following her to the cat food and then reaching over to one of the large bags that she had pointed to. He hefted it over one of his shoulders and nodded once toward the girl. She remarked that he must be strong and Guzzy rolled his eyes playfully. She certainly knew how to work all of her angles, clever girl. He was smitten. "You're probably right. About how small you are, anyway. This bag is nearly as big as you are yourself. To be honest though, I was never really the athletic type. So I can't say that I'm especially strong or anything. But I guess I'm a good enough size to get the job done."
She was so smiley, so open to befriending Guzzy that he couldn't help but suddenly feel cautious around her. What if she was using him? Flirting excessively with him in order to recruit someone to carry home her cat food. And then, when they arrived, she would send him on his way, not offering anything more than another smile, perhaps a wink, before the closing the door in his face. But she wouldn't do that, would she? He'd been in her house for a small while now and she seemed so much more genuine than that. He didn't let his fears show on his face and only offered her another shy smile before following her toward the front. "I'm Guzzy. Most people call me Guzzy." Most people used to call him Guzzy, anyway. Having made it to the front, there wasn't really a line considering the fact that it was still fairly early and no one had really felt the need to go to the pet store quite yet. Reaching the counter, he situated the bag so that the barcode faced upward. Quickly, before Arabella could protest, he produced a wallet from his pocket and paid for the cat food. The money was stolen from some man whose house he'd been at earlier in the week. He didn't need it; the guy was loaded. Lived in those fancy, mansion-type places. The way Guzzy saw it, he was like Robin Hood, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Picking the bag back up, he faced Arabella and grinned broadly, "All right. Where to, A.B?" The nickname was silly and nonsensical. It had just sort of popped into his head and he went with it.

Arabella couldn't help but smile at his eagerness to help her. He was a very strange character, but she liked strange. He seemed to take a great liking to her, and she couldn't help but take a great liking to him back. His personality rubbed off on her, she never felt anything like it. No one had taken a great liking to her like this before she was surprised and unsettled at the same time. His eyes would light up when he looked at her. Maybe she had met him before, at a club or something. But surly she would remember him, he had a strong presence. Besides Arabella didn't seem like she could ever forget him. She absolutely adored him, not that she had a choice in the matter. Some feelings she choose and others she didn't. In this case she couldn't help liking him. But it was more intimate than a simple crush. The moment she laid eyes on him she felt like she was tied to him. Like when you try something for the very first time and absolutely love it. This was what Arabella was feeling but it felt a billion times stronger.
"I could carry it if I really wanted to." She sniffed as he commented about her tinniness. Arabella didnt mind when she called herself small, not at all. But when other people said it she got a bit defensive. In truth she didn't think she could, maybe if she took a dozen breaks in between them definitely. Especially when she put her mind to something, that's when Arabella never gave up. If she had to prove someone wrong she would. In this case she wouldn't because he didn't say it in a disrespectful way. When he mentioned about never really being athletic she took another look at him. Yes he was tall and had some natural muscle, but she had to agree with him. He was just big and gangly, it was adorable. "Yes your the perfect size." Arabella said with a grin. That was the perfect example of why she couldn't choose her feelings. The regular Arabella would be friendly but not such a flirt like she was now. This guy was throwing her off center.
Her mind was also in a very, let's say, different place. The attraction to him seemed to be growing. The more she was around him contained, the harder it got. So Arabella looked at the pets as she made her way to the front. She saw a cute little brown lab and she smiled in awe. It was the cutest thing, she had always wanted a brown lab. She wanted to buy it, but it would be best if her sister was with her. Her sister would throw a fit if she bought a puppy without her there. They did everything together so she would wait until she came home. When he told her his name she smiled at it."Well it's a pleasure to meet you Guzzy." Arabella said giving him a charming smile as they stopped at the front. She was just about to pull her money out when Guzzy beat her to it. She Made a face at him but let him do it. "Why thankyou, your such the gentleman." Arabella said sweetly, then added "But now I'm in your debt now." Arabella didn't really care, that just made her have to be around him and she loved that.
Arabella held open the door for him and took a breath of fresh air. She noticed the city was waking up because it was a little bit busier. Her mouth dropped open when he called her A.B., it was strange since no one ever had a nickname for her besides her sister. My streets only a couple blocks away." She said And A.B.? That's a knew one. I'm usually called either Ara, Bella, or Arabella." She shook her head and laughed. He was a very strange guy, more stranger by the minute. She shouldn't be speaking, she was a witch for crying out loud. Arabella started to walk towards her house, expecting him to follow her. The walk there was quiet and peaceful, she couldn't help steal glances at him though. He was to handsome for words, it baffled her. Sometimes there arms would brush against each other and an electric pulse would zoom through her. Yes, she had definitely never felt like this before. Was she finally Experiencing falling in love? She didn't know, she would have to ask Anne about it.
When they reached her house she unlocked the door and led him inside."You can set it down anywhere." She told him. Lilly purred at her feet and rubbed up against her leg. She bent down and pet her, then picked her up so that Guzzy could see. Lilly loved attention and loved to be picked up and pet."This is my cute kitty Lilly." Arabella said "I've had her for 5 years." After that she set Lilly down and Lilly scampered away. Arabella leaned back on the table and looked up at Guzzy. Her heart made a little spasm and her breath caught slightly. Damn, why did she have to be this was around him. It made no sense, did she do this to him? "Well since you paid I guess I could repay you by making you dinner ?" Arabella said with a smile. She realized then that her sister would be away for the weekend and she would have the house alone. Arabella focused back on Gazzy and noticed it was extremely hot."But dinners not till later, so would you mind sticking around. We could go in my pool, it's in ground and has a diving board?." Arabella said smiling "Unless you have something to do..then I'd understand." She frowned at the thought, but tried to look like it was not a big deal.

Eager was nearly an understatement. He'd watched her, grew to adore her. She was just so different. He wasn't sure how to explain it. At first, he had simply been making his usual rounds, checking out a house, searching for places that would bring forth the most entertainment. And he found her. She was lovely, that was true but he wasn't entirely sold on her looks alone. She was such an incredibly strong girl, taking care of herself and her little sister as she did. And she was simply endearing. She had the most adorable quirks, the funniest ways to handle things. He wanted to know more. He wanted to know her and not just observe her. Not to mention that he felt like something of a stalker. But, of course, he was a ghost. He was allowed to be in people's homes and pass by unnoticed. Wasn't he? That's what all of the movies had advertised anyway. He was entitled to haunt places and people, to wreak havoc. It was like death's way of compensating for his short life. Guzzy now had free reign. He was his own person. Of course, there were still rules.
He couldn't reveal the supernatural world to humans, for example. Ghosts had a little easier of a time with this. They were allowed to reveal themselves to a certain extent only because part of the human race already believed them as it was. But no other species. He couldn't expose the others. He grinned to himself as Arabella defended her size, claiming that, if she had tried. And he realized that with her magic, it might have been possible. But she was smart. She wouldn't endanger herself with exposure like that. He understood completely. Relying on physical strength alone would not have worked for the girl. But he wouldn't have wanted it any other way. It was reassuring, for others to have something that they would consider faults. Perfection was most certainly overrated. He had always been more in tune to people who didn't claim perfection. People who understood that it was fine to be a little fucked up.
And then she complimented his stature, comparing it to perfection as it was and Guzzy felt his spirits soar. She was going to need to be careful and much more subtle than that if she was going to keep him around. The poor boy was feeling nearly overwhelmed with excitement at how well their first true encounter was turning out. Guzzy had nearly forgotten to remember that he needed to tell her what he was. That she might not be completely accepting of who he is. Was. But this was far from his mind as they walked toward the front of the store. The way she said his name... Dear god. And that smile! As she told him that it was now she who was in debt to him, Guzzy shook his head, "Not at all. Think of it as sort of a gift. I guess?" He frowned for a brief moment, "It's probably not a very good gift though, is it?" he finished, chuckling. Cat food for the girl he had been obsessed with for weeks now? It didn't seem to fit.
Guzzy grinned as she contemplated aloud on his nickname choice. "I've always just sort of stuck with nicknames that a lot of people wouldn’t normally think of. Maybe it's because of mine. I just have a thing for strange names." He shifted the weight of the bag back up onto his shoulder and continued. "I could have been Pat. Or Patty. My real name is Patrick, you know. But for some reason, in middle school, guys started calling by my last name. Probably because there were more Patricks than you could count. And then they shortened it to 'Guzzy,' It's been that way ever since. I like it. Unique and all." He continued walking alongside her, reveling in the silence. It felt as if they were bonding without saying words. Almost as if he was invisible like usual, following her every step, walking her life as if it was a television sitcom. God, that said a whole lot of things about him that he didn't care to go into detail about. As was considered before, it was perfectly natural for a ghost to do these sorts of things. Wasn't it?
Reaching her house, Guzzy suddenly felt dread creeping up inside of him. This was it. This is where she said goodbye and sent him on his way. Or she offered to spend more time with him. It was the defining moment of wther or not he could even begin to think about if this would work. Arabella told him to set the bag down anywhere and so he put it next to the front door for now, anticipating a thank you and a goodbye. Suddenly, the cat came into view and Arabella brought the animal closer, holding her out for Guzzy to see. He nodded, agreeing with her silently. She set the cat down and the animal padded away, leaving the two of them truly alone once more. Looking toward Arabella, he waited for some sort of confirmation on whether he should stay or go. Needless to say, he was thrilled at the dinner invite. It would mean that he would get the chance to spend the entire day with the object of his affection. And then he realized his problem. Guzzy wasn't sure if he could maintain a solid form into the night. He hadn't pushed himself to such limits before. But for this girl, he might as well try, right? "No! No, I mean, I don't have anything to do. I'd love to stay. It sounds like a great idea to me."

"Any gift from you is wonderful Guzzy." Arabella said smiling "But being in debt to you sounds more fun, doesn't it?" She winked at him and laughed, her eyes never leaving his. Everything she had come to know and live by about Falling in love had changed the moment she met Guzzy. Arabella was head over heels for this guy. It was a strange think to be in love, as short of a time she had met him. It just felt right with him, the connection between them. She now understood how people that were in love looked at each other. Because they're whole world was the other person, that's all they needed. But what If she wasn't really in love? What if this was just a shirt crush that would go away in a week or to. If she committed now then she would feel terrible about breaking up with him later. What if he didn't even have the same feelings for her as she did with him. Maybe he thought she was just a fun person to be around and that's it. Arabella was having a mini heart attack despite her smooth features on the surface. This is why she didn't date, it gave her way to much anxiety. She over thought stuff like crazy, then she couldn't take it and gave up. But she would never give up on Guzzy, she didn't think she could. Arabella loved the way he looked at her, she couldn't get enough of it. Arabella was in her own little fantasy world that she almost missed what he had said about nicknames. "You can call me anything you'd like Guzzy." Arabella said with a flirtatious smile, and looked him up and down while walking. He was breathtakingly gorgeous, she really couldn't handle it. By now Guzzy probably already knew how she felt about him. If he knew her well then he would know she wanted an actual relationship with him. Because yes she did flirt with guys, but not to this extent. She would never invite them over to her house even if it was to bring a bag of cat food over. She was very private when it came to her house, not liking any of her meaningless guys wandering into her house. When Guzzy told her his real name Arabella let out a giggle. "Why that's the cutest name ever." Arabella commented with a charming smile "And im not just saying that because i think your cute either." She had always loved the name Patrick, if she was to ever have kids thats what she wanted her boys name to be. Arabella had also decided she wasn't going to hold back any longer. It was about time to let loose and give love a try for once. Guzzy also seemed the perfect guy to try it on, if he didn't work out then she would never open her heart again. It sounded very drastic, but it was a very drastic move opening her heart in the first place. Arabella would surely surprise her sister considering that Anne had been trying to make her date for years now. She would love Guzzy and probably tell him how much it took to try and date and he had done it just by bumping into her. Obviously it was much more than that, Arabella couldn't really explain it. She wondered if he felt the same connection between them. When Guzzy agreed she couldn't help but let out a little squeal of delight. She grabbed his hand and started dragging him up the stairs. Arabella's mind was not in the right place, there were so many things she wanted to do with him that was not going in the pool. When she came to the second floor she quickly went into her sisters room and grabbed a pair of guy trunks out of her bureau. She came back and handed then to Guzzy. "Those are my sisters boyfriends, he won't mind if you use them, he's such a sweet heart. Besides he's about the same height as you so it works. Arabella said "You can change in the bathroom there." She pointed to the door right across the hall. She smiled and made her way down the hall to her room. Arabella closed the door and took a deep breath. She then ran over to her bathing suit draw and dumped it out, she had so many. She looked at a Zebra one, but that one was skimpy so she threw it a side. Arabella finally found a purple bikini that wasn't to provocative but still made an impression. Quickly she changed into it and opened the door to see if Guzzy was done yet.

It was incredible, the response that he was getting from this girl. She was acting as if they'd known each other for so long. As if they had been friends forever. In a sense, he had sort of known her for a little while. But that didn't count, did it? She was off, doing her own thing all of those times, completely unaware of his presence, of his existence. Nonexistence? And now she was so receptive. They'd barely spoken so many words to each other. It was obvious that there had been an instant attraction. Most of Arabella's flirtation had been in response to Guzzy's physical being. Or what was left of it, anyway. God, the complications involved in this union. It was already stressful and nothing had happened. There was initial interest. But was that enough? Were her actions, her motions, her words, were they all just flattery? Did she think of him as a toy? Or was he a prospective romance? And then, even if she did think of him in a way that suggested future involvement, could their relationship work? He wasn't even alive anymore. He'd had his chance at life and someone took it away from him. All he did now was bug the ever living shit out of people. Would that be enough for her?
And what about children? He could never give Arabella children. It was impossible. Of course, if she'd wished it, they could adopt... Or search out a potential sperm donor. A little switch went off in Guzzy's head and he mentally slapped himself, horrified by his lack of a pause button. He was thinking much too far into the future. Or he was simply daydreaming. Who was to say that Arabella would even accept the fact that he was a specter? An restless spirit, dissatisfied with the idea of an end? Angry at the life that was taken from him. His thoughts were interrupted by her decision to allow him to call her anything that he desired and Guzzy grinned outwardly despite the storm brewing in his head. It was all a terrible mess. Perhaps this was all a mistake. He'd never felt so sure of something, of someone, though. She was just, well, different. It was there. That was it. He had never had something resembling a real and nurturing relationship before. Was he to be deprived of such a right because of some drunken jackass in a pick up? He wouldn't be allowed to experience things that he had a right to because some idiot made a terrible decision of his own?
It was bull. He wouldn't stand for it. And that's why he was so willing to pursue this. That's how he justified this messed up situation. Thinking about the long run was only complicating his decision to speak with Arabella. He dropped all thought of the future. For now, anyhow. And then she went and complimented, no only his name, but his appearance yet again and his thought processes turned to jelly. God damn it, this girl and the effect that she had on him. Guzzy merely continued grinning like an overgrown idiot. An overgrown idiot with a giant bag of cat food slung over his shoulder. He was whipped. The girl hadn't even given him a proper date and he was falling all over himself in his efforts to please her. It was ridiculous how quickly he had become immersed in her life. And he hadn't just jumped haphazardly into this. He was fully prepared for most outcomes. The outcomes where she accepted his being already dead and all. He could help her look after Anne. And make sure that the girl stayed on track to becoming the best that she could be. He'd help. Guzzy would do anything to make the Schroder women's lives easier.
When Guzzy agreed to Arabella's spur of the moment plans, the girl reacted quickly, and he had to adjust accordingly in order to not lose his focus on maintaining a solid form. She grabbed his hand and drew him upstairs in what seemed like an instant. Within another moment she had tossed a pair of swimming trunks at him and he caught them clumsily, his smile crooked and shy as she explained whose they were and then took off around the corner to go dress into something else herself. Hurrying into the restroom across the way, Guzzy stripped away the clothing he was currently in, hurriedly pulling on the trunks. He glanced at himself in the mirror and winced. He wasn't out of shape, per se. There was some muscle tone. But he was painfully awkward looking. And pale too. It was ironic, his pallor, simply because he was a ghost. Ha. Tossing his hair back behind his shoulders, he picked up his clothes and threw them into the corner of the bathroom. Opening the door, he moved out into the hallway and leaned against the wall, waiting for Arabella to come out. And when she did, he found that he couldn't really find it in himself to move. He'd seen her body before, creeper that he was, but he was still always in awe of how great she really did look. She was in incredible shape, most likely due to the running. A part of his mind kick started into action and he smiled at her, pushing himself from the wall and then holding out his arms and turning around slowly in a circle, "So, ah, what do you think? I'm no Axl Rose but it works, yeah?" He reminded himself to use more modern day references. Axl Rose wasn't hot anymore. Some of these kids didn't even know who he was. Surely, if he kept making those references, she'd realize that Guzzy was born in the eighties. Bad idea.

Arabella absolutely hated taking mental notes, especially on someone she really liked. The first mental note she took on Guzzy was his coldness. She thought she was just warm but when she took his hand and brought him upstairs she still felt it. Maybe he was a vampire, she doubted it though because Lilly always hissed at them. Since she didn't hiss at Guzzy Arabella knew he wasn't a vampire. She picked up in his old reference Axl Rose. She knew the guy only because her mother thought he was so handsome. Guzzy saying it as naturally as someone saying 'im no zac efron..'. Arabella zoomed through all the species in her head, someone with a cold touch and old. There were vampires, which Guzzy wasn't, and a Ghost. Arabella's brain went into over drive as she made all the connections. Guzzy was a ghost, but not just any ghost, he was the ghost inhabiting her house! That's why he was so fond of her, he had been stalking he for the past couple of months. She just thought that the ghost was there to be annoying, but now she realized that he liked her.
Guzzy was the cute little ghost stalking her. Arabella felt so flattered by this, why didn't she see this sooner. She was probably to wrapped up in him to see it sooner. Arabella wasn't angry at him, how could she be when she adored him. So it must have been him that knocked over the vase and followed her to the pet store. That's why she bumped into him, he was trying to look for her. She wondered what it was like being a ghost. Surely he was still young enough to see his family walking around. That would absolutely suck. Arabella wondered if Guzzy had a girlfriend who he left on earth. She felt pity for the girl, if there was one, that she had to lose such an amazing guy. Family would be another hard thing to deal with. She wouldn't want to be away from them. Yet she wouldn't want to see then die either. And was there no end to being a ghost? Just maybe one day they would find the magical white door and go to heaven. Or maybe Guzzy would walk the earth for the rest of eternity with all the other immortal species.
"I'd say your pretty damn hot." Arabella said with a wink. She made sure she kept her face smooth so he wouldn't notice any change. Arabella walked up to Guzzy and put a hand on his chest. He had no heart beat. She then wrapped her arms around him and rested her head on his chest. She realized that she would die and he would go on and live forever. Keeping her beautiful young self wouldn't be a problem, she had magic and her magic would grow stronger. That didn't help the fact that she would die without him. Another fact hit her that she would never be able to have children with him. She didn't want to adopt human children, she wanted to pass on her genes and make her own children. But she would not fall in love with anyone else. Guzzy was her true love, she could feel it deep in her bones that he was. Arabella had never felt so sure of something in her whole life. She then stepped back from him with a wicked grin.
So ghost boy." Arabella said If you can catch me, then I'll forgive for all the stuff you've done to me over the past month." Arabella winked at him and headed down to the pool. She didnt know if he was following her but he most likely was. Arabella ran out her back door and then dove into the pool. Arabella always loved going in the pool, especially being underwater. She could be underwater for a very long time if she put a water breathing spell on her. She couldn't believe she called him ghost boy, he must have been so shocked. It saved him from being scared of telling her. It also saved her from explaining her secret to him because she thought he had been a human. Arabella finally came up to the surface of the water. She looked around and saw that Guzzy was no where to be found. Then she remembered he was a ghost and could disappear any time he wanted. "And being invisible is sooooo cheating." Arabella said and crossed her arms. She then heard someone break the surface directly in back of her and she quickly turned around.

If he had any idea that Arabella was going through the list of possible supernatural matches in her head, he would have turned tail and ran. Or simply let down his solidity and disappeared into thin air. Most people who had met him in a solid form had just chalked up his temperature to lack of blood pumping to his extremities. It was a natural assumption. A valid medical problem. For Arabella to make all of these connections in her head was just magnificent. If he knew what she was thinking, he would not only be terrified. He would be entirely impressed. It was another reason that he was so enamored with the girl. She had an incredible mind. She was quick-witted and deductive. Kind of like a detective. She was a modern day Nancy Drew. And secretly, he had a bit of a crush from the pretty blonde girl-detective from the book series. It would have been as lovely a realization as it was terrifying if he could tell just what she was thinking. Especially if he acknowledged the reaction to her conclusion. She didn't seem too upset by the idea.
But, alas, he had no way of knowing just what thoughts were going through her mind. And it was probably better in that way. Guzzy was already a nervous wreck in front of Ms. Schroder. He didn't needed to be introduced to the idea that she knew what he was. And then, if he had heard the rest of her thought processes, he would have been made further uncomfortable. There was some family left over. His mother and father's extended family remained untouched and unbothered by him, the traitors they were to his parents union. His father was already dead and apparently not a ghost from what he could see. His mother, well. She was alive. In a nursing home. Dying slowly in her old age, grief magnifying her suffering tenfold. He didn't like to think of his mother. All of the things he couldn't say. When he tried, he couldn't materialize for her, so overcome with nerves and misery as he was. He simply could not let her know of his love and appreciation for all he did. It never worked. And she was going to die unbeknownst to the fact that he was at peace. Somewhat. He was content for the time being, anyway.
Arabella expressed approval at Guzzy's appearance and he grinned bashfully. He didn't have a horrible body. He knew that. And if Arabella approved of it, then he was just fine with how it looked. Guzzy was just about to open his mouth and say so when Arabella moved forward quickly, a purpose in her eyes. She placed her hand on his bare chest and he froze, unsure what to do. He didn't connect the action with her trying to find out if he was alive. He merely thought that she was being flirtatious again. Looking down at her hand, he was tempted to place his own hand over hers in a gesture of approval and acceptance of her attention. But she moved her palm from him and instead wrapped him into an embrace. Guzzy's body was laced with tension, confusion at such outward signs of affection. Or was there more to it? Hesitantly, he wrapped one arm around her shoulders and returned the hug. Resting his chin on top of her head, he wondered aloud at the sudden change in atmosphere. What was it she was doing? It seemed very sudden for her to be showering him with this much attention when only having known him for a little more than thirty minutes.
And then it hit him. He finally realized what had been going on inside of that head of hers. The pieces fell together and he stood there, stock still for a moment, unsure of what to do. So she knew. She understood what was going on. She even knew that he was the ghost that had been plaguing her, let alone a ghost at all. And she was fine with it. More than fine. She seemed comfortable with it. So at ease in their current situation. Guzzy watched her run off, allowing a large smile to break across his own face. This was turning out better than he'd hoped. Better than he'd planned. Running after her, he watched her just as she jumped into the pool. And so, he did as she suspected he could and let his visibility fall away. When he moved into the water, there was no sound. No ripple. And then he rematerialized behind her, causing quite a stir in the water. He laughed out loud at her accusation of cheating and tackled her, pulling her down into the water for a moment before drawing them both back up at the surface. Grinning wildly, he moved his hair to her hair and ruffled it, watching the locks mold which ever way he wished being that they were wet. "How did you know? You're like, a genius. I've never met someone as smart as you. It's bitchin'."

Arabella didn't have time to react before Guzzy tackled her into the pool. His body was so close to hers when she broke the surface and he started playing with her hair. Her heart was pounding in her chest and she felt butterflies in her stomach. His touch was cold and electric, arabella had never felt anything like this even with the warlock she had liked long ago. This was something totally new and different to her. It was also foreign, these Emotions and urges that she had. Arabella remembered her parents and their relationship with eachother. They had told her and her sister they fell in love instantly. Look how long they were together, until they both passed. Arabella thought in some cases you had to have time getting to know the person. In other cases You already felt like you've known the person for a life time. That's how she felt with Guzzy, completely and utterly comfortable with him. She knew he felt the same way about her just by looking at her.
Arabella laughed at his comment and felt herself blushing."I have a habit of making mental notes." She explained "My brain works really fast as well, once one thing connects it's like a domino effect." Her father was very fond of Allegra, he was her Favorite of the two. He loved that she got things so quickly and was extremely smart. He had Arabella doing full out spells when she was only 4. She had learned quickly and at the age of nine she was equally powerful to a witch twice her age. Then unfortunately her parents died, but that didn't stop her learning. She taught herself and her sister from a book, which was remarkable in Witching standards. "I noticed you were really cold, my cat didn't hiss at you so I knew you weren't a vampire. Arabella said focusing back on Guzzy "Then the Axl Rose reference you made , I connected the dots and got my answer. Simple really." To Arabella mostly everything was simple, besides some stuff. But mostly everything she did didn't require her any effort. She was just a natural at a lot of things.
She smiled at him and twirled around in the water. She loved to swim, it was her second favorite normal thing to do. The first thing was running, most people hated running but it came easy to her, like most things did. What Arabella like most about swimming was just floating motionless under the water. It was so calm and quiet underwater. Since she could put a water breathing spell on herself she could stay under as long as she wanted. Arabella went down a lot when she was stressed out about something or simply needed some peace and quiet to think. Arabella's mind worked fast so she got distracted sometimes so in order for her to organize her head she needed absolute silence. There were some spells to make things quiet but she preferred the pool. The water cooled her down and refreshed her. Sometimes her sister joined her and they would swim about silently under water relaxing. Anne just did it for fun since she never got stressed about anything. She was there to keep her sister company and to reassure Arabella she was always there for her.
At the moment she had no problem emptying her mind because whenever she looked at Guzzy her mind drew a blank. They had been in the pool for about a half hour swimming and talking with each other. Nothing to serious, just about their likes and dislikes and stuff like that. She was in the middle of a sentence when a vision entered her mind. It was her and Guzzy relaxing on her bed, it was night since the window was open and the stars were shining. Then she saw that she was soon kissing him. The visioned quickly faded out and ended. She saw Guzzy again in front of her. Arabella gasped and her face started to burn with embarrassment. This was rare for Arabella since she was never embarrassed. She was confident and strong, but while she was around Guzzy that all changed."Sorry, visions can be annoying." Arabella muttered, still not meeting his gaze "So what was i saying.. Oh yeah do you want to go in and watch a movie or stay here a little longer?"

Guzzy couldn't say that he felt the complete same way for Arabella instantly. He adored her, of course. But it wasn't a "love at first sight" type of deal. Yes, he had been immediately attracted to her. But it had taken that entire month for his liking of her to build. He had watched her for that month and gradually fallen for her in that way. So the fact she was so quick to taking a liking to him was a brilliant sign. It meant that they were certainly compatible. And he didn't feel oddly about how quickly her feelings of him were seeming to progress. He wasn't disturbed by the fact that she was so accepting of him and who he was. It felt right, not matter how long it had taken him personally to get to that place of infatuation. Not to mention that her acceptance of the situation was incredibly sexy. She had an attitude that suggested that she wasn't afraid to take on challenges that most other people would back away from entirely. It was very much endearing and being in such a close proximity to a woman like that, it was slightly daunting. Then again, even when he'd lived his days away, invisible in her home, Arabella none the wiser to his presence, she had intimidated him. He hated the idea of a woman wearing the pants in a relationship usually. But Arabellla was different. In a good way, of course.
He listened, entirely interested in hearing about Arabella's process of elimination. Really, the girl was very sharp-witted. And she was incredibly talented in her craft. He'd seen her perform spells. Spells that it took most witches and warlocks to learn in a much longer scale of time. Guzzy understood the domino effect deal. He had known kids in school that had thought things through that same way. As aforementioned, Arabella was very adept at deductive reasoning. And he had to say that he was impressed. The cold thing had been her first clue. He nodded, understanding fully. That was usually what gave it away people weren't used to a person having such a low core temperature and if they got near enough, they would realize that his entire body was cold, not simply his extremities. And then she mentioned the Axl Rose reference and moved an arm upward, rubbing the back of his neck in an embarrassed sort of way. "Yeah. I thought about that right after I said it. Stupid move. I was born in seventy-two. Grew up in the eighties. And it shows sometimes. Kind of hard to avoid."
As far as swimming went, Guzzy had never been particularly fond of it. He didn't dislike swimming. But it just hadn't been his thing. He had much preferred his bike. Riding it. Working on it. It didn't matter, as long as he was around spare parts. In fact, he was sort of a grease monkey, really. If he wasn't hanging out with his friends or working in the restaurant, he was with his bike. Or his mom. Sometimes his mother came out and tried to learn a thing or two about the bike as well. He loved those times. To see someone who was usually so adamant on being green and taking the bus show an interest in something like his motorcycle was incredible. She was an amazing woman. She never really understood any of it. But damn it, she tried. She was as much a father to him as she was a mother, in a nonphysical sense, of course. Anatomically, she was just a mom. Let's be clear on that. But to Guzzy, she was so much more. She picked up the slack where his father had been unable to. And she always told him the stories while he worked on his bike. Stories about their love. About the letters and the war. His father was an amazing man, she told him. And Guzzy reveled in every word.
They had been swimming for awhile, a sensation that felt familiar but still slightly unreal, much like the sun on his skin. Normally, his skin would have been water-logged and pruny looking from being in that pool for as long as he was. But it turned out that when one was dead, one could retain water in their pores no matter how solid one got. Interesting. It was so close to living, yet so different. He didn't pretend to understand it. He just went with whatever happened. Suddenly, Arabella had stopped and Guzzy stared at her quizzically before suddenly realizing what must be happening. Arabella was one of the few witches gifted with Sight and it seemed obvious that she was having some sort of vision. In the next second, she was back to normal and confirming his suspicion about the vision. He felt his curiosity peak but did not ask her for an explanation. "Well, I mean, I'm cool with whatever. But it might be nice to go inside and just hang out or something? Maybe talk more? Focusing on staying above water at the same time as trying to focus on keeping solid is getting to be a bit much." He grinned broadly to show her that he didn't mind the trouble. Not with her.

Arabella frowned at Guzzy, she didn't like making things hard for him. She took his hand and dragged him out of the pool. She tried not to keep looking at his body or face to much, it was hard not to since he was so irresistible. Thank god Guzzy could not read minds because if he was able to then she'd be screwed. Arabella wasn't really that type of person that thought of things like that. But she couldn't help herself, thats why she was trying so hard not to look at him. She was so glad he didn't notice her extreme blush after she had her vision. He got butterflies she thinking about them together, kissing. She didn't want to go to fast so she made herself relax and push the thoughts down in her head and lock them up for the time being. She found she wanted to do physical stuff with him more than she wanted to talk. Arabella was not that type of person, but her attraction so him was so powerful and strong. She didn't want to send off a bad vibe to him that all she wanted was sex.
Arabella started to panic, her face was controlled so that was the only good part. She handed Guzzy a towel and took one for her self and started to dry off. She led Guzzy inside and she finally made up her mind that she was going to tone it way down. Arabella didn't want to freak him out by all the attention she was bringing him. He was a total stranger to her, they were taking this relationship into over drive. What if he just went along with it because he didn't want to hurt her feelings. I mean she was thinking about kids with this guy and dying at an old age. What was wrong with her, she was just going nuts in love. Arabella had to calm down and think about things. First of all if he wanted to go because he was freaked out he could just disappear and not have to worry about her seeing him ever again. But he was staying here with her, with adoring eyes so he must feel the same way about her. It was weird considering they both didn't say that they liked each other yet, they just went with the flow.
Arabella looked at Guzzy and she couldn't breath and she forgot what she was going to say. Quickly she looked down a Lilly who had just rubbed against her leg, perfect excuse to look away. She had to remember to give Lilly a treat for saving her from embarrassment. She looked back up with more confidence that she wouldn't be over taken like that again. Butterflies settled into her belly but she still spoke."I'm going to go take a quick shower okay?" Arabella said smiling "You can eat or pick out a movie on tv and just relax. Then you can go in a take one if you want." Arabella had the urge to go and kiss him on the cheek but she refrained herself. She smiled at him and made her way upstairs shaking her head and muttering to herself. Lilly of course followed her, she was her little baby. She went straight to the bathroom and hoped in the shower. She wasn't sure if Guzzy was watching her, she didn't think he was, he was to much of the gentlemen. She took of her bikini and hung on the side of the tub.
The water felt good but she hurried up because she wanted to see Guzzy. She wrapped a fresh towel around her and exited the bathroom. "The bathrooms free!" Arabella called out because Guzzy was no where to be seen. She closed the door to her room and went straight to her closet. She slipped on a navy blue strapless tank top and white cotton shorts. She opened the door and the bathroom door was closed so she knew Guzzy was in there. Arabella went down stairs and started making some popcorn. While she did that she went to her large living room and sat on the couch to look for a movie. Her eyes fell upon Casper the friendly Ghost, she clicked on it and went back to the kitchen to get the popcorn. She put it in a bowl and settled back on the couch. She curled up on the couch and closed her eyes. It was quite amazing how just this morning she met her soulmate. At the moment though she was extremely tired, the pool had made her sleepy and she was slowly drifting into sleep.

He didn't mind. She could make things as difficult as possible for her and he'd take every single bit of the abuse of not be the least bit affronted by it. Infatuation worked in a funny way. Obsession was constant while it lasted. There wasn't a time when it would cease, even if the object of affection were to do the obsessed wrong. The latter would make excuses in order to protect the other due solely to their passion, however misguided it might be. She offered him her hand and he eagerly took it, allowing her to help him out of the pool. She seemed different. Flustered, maybe. The vision must have been something troubling. And now he was a bit anxious. He wished in that moment that she would just tell him what she had seen. Maybe he could help. Not directly of course. But he could offer some sort of advice or words of encouragement, yeah? Then again, she hadn't known him long. Perhaps it was something very personal. Something that she just didn't feel comfortable sharing with strangers. Or maybe it was about him.
All situations were troubling to some degree. He hoped that it wasn't the last thought. Unless it was a good thing. But then, why would she stop looking at him and suddenly lose that daring edge that she'd had? God, this was absolutely nerve wracking and he didn't even have actual working nerves anymore. Grabbing the towel from her, he dried himself off as best as he could, taking special care to run the towel through his hair. After a moment, he followed her into the house, watching as that cat came back up to rub against her legs. To be honest, he was never really a cat person. And this morning, his thoughts on the cat were anything but friendly. So he simply watched on, not offering to pet the creature or give it any attention. It just stared up at them both with unblinking eyes. It was almost pitiful, just sitting there, staring up at them. Waiting for someone to shower it with attention. As if it didn't get enough attention, fluffy as it was, with a little button nose and whiskers. Lilly's tail twitched back in forth and he found that he almost forgot to care about it. It was willing him to like it with its adorable mannerisms. Dumb animal.
Suddenly, there was a change in the pace once more. Things seemed to fall into a comfortable state and Guzzy almost let out a sigh of relief and then fought it, something done easily when one didn't have to breathe. Arabella looked up at him and he felt his own butterflies flare up deep inside of him. What she said next didn't help, of course. She was going to take a shower. The rest of her sentence fell on deaf ears. She was going to take a shower which meant that she was going to be naked. In a shower. With running water. It was not a far stretch from seeing her in a bikini, of course. But the simple fact that just that little bit of forbidden skin would be exposed was mind numbing. Granted, Guzzy had already seen her nude. Once. It was on complete accident. This was information that he would take to his grave. If he ever told Arabella about his voyeurism, she would pitch a fit, he was sure. Not because she didn't want him to think about seeing her naked or anything. This early on, maybe. But it was more so the idea that he had had the nerve to watch her like he did for so long. She would make the connection. By then, hopefully she cared enough for him not to mind.
She ran upstairs and had begun to shower and Guzzy refrained from perversion. For now. And as soon as she relayed that she was finished he ran up the stairs and jumped quickly into the shower after her. Really, he wasn't sure what to use. And he didn't want to use her shampoos and things. So he simply grabbed the soap and preceded to use it on the entirety of his body. Rinsing and then exiting the shower, he dried off and reached for the clothes he had tossed into the corner. Pulling them back on and shaking out his wet hair. He only paused another moment to look at his reflection before walking back downstairs. The sight that he was greeted with was quite endearing. She was dozing off, it seemed. Laying there like that, he couldn't help but find himself incredibly attracted to her. He was normally attracted to her. But right now, in such a vulnerable state, she was perfection. It was nice when that overwhelming and talkative exterior of hers pulled away for just a moment. He cared about the more outgoing girl just a bit more. But this quiet, peaceful one was just lovely to look at. He didn't really think about what he was doing. He only moved to the couch and hurriedly placed his arms underneath her, lifting her just a tad in order to sit down. He set her so that she laid half on his lap and he smiled down at her. "Nice movie choice," he told her, gesturing to the screen, wearing another one of his trademark grins.

Arabella felt herself being lifted up and put down again. Her eyes fluttered open and she saw Guzzy above her, she automatically smiled. He seemed oddly warm because he had just taken a shower, she snuggled closer to him. To his reply she gave him a brilliant smile. "I thought it was a good pick." Arabella said. She reached over to the remote on the coffee table and pressed play. She settled in back with Guzzy and felt extremely comfortable. She had never dropped her guard around anyone, but she knew he would never do anything to hurt her. She was always a fan of Casper, she thought he was the cutest ghost ever. But after meeting Guzzy he was only the second. Before Guzzy she had never really met a ghost, she of course knew they were real. They were everywhere though, going about unnoticed until they made there presence known. Not all of them could hold it for a long time. She gave a nervous glance at Guzzy, she didn't want him to go. "Im probably going to fall asleep again, so if you need to..take a break from your solid self you can." Arabella said looking up at him with a small frown. She didn't like the fact that he had to stress himself. Arabella definitely didn't want him to stress holding his form when she wasn't even conscious. She then wondered how often she would see him and how often she wouldn't. Ghosts were made to scare people, drift around aimlessly or with a purpose. They were not meant to live a second life. Arabella was getting nervous, she didn't want to worry now so she pushed her thoughts away and focused on the movie. The movie captured her attention for about 15 minutes until sleep took her over once more. Arabella dreamed all kinds of dreams, sometimes she had visions in her dreams. Little messages could be conveyed in them, Arabella had a dream diary on her bed stand so once she woke up she could right her dreams down. Right now there were very vibrant colors, Guzzy and Arabella were in the center laughing and holding each other. Though her dream made a dramatic change, suddenly the colors turned black. Guzzy and Arabella were being taken away from each other. She felt herself falling and landing in ice cold water. Once she hit the water she woke up flailing her arms. Her heart was pounding and she was breathing heavily. Arabella glanced around and she was alone. Sadness hit her like a brick wall, then she remembered saying he could take a break from his solid form. Arabella relaxed and got up, heading upstairs to her room. She didn't want to bother Guzzy, he would turn up when he felt the need to. Lilly was curled up on her bed and Arabella stroked her as she sat down. She opened her night stand draw to get her pen and notebook. Arabella then started to write down her dream. She explained it in the right amount of detail and then wrote what she thought it meant, which was: Something might cause me and Guzzy to separate.... Arabella frowned and put her notebook away. She skipped down stairs and twirled into the kitchen, it was nearing supper time so she decided to start making dinner. Lilly jumped up on the kitchen table and kept her company as she started to boil some water. She took out spaghetti and everything else needed to make spaghetti and meatballs. She followed her great grandmothers recipe, which was the most delicious way to make it. She went through all the steps and she hummed a song her mother use to hum when she made it. At the end Arabella flicked her finger at the spaghetti and a neon purple spark came out of it and hit the spaghetti. She smiled and began to set the table, nothing fancy, but she used her good dinner plates. With the snap of her fingers the pot floated over near the table and stayed there until she ordered it to dish the spaghetti out. She went into the living room to shut the tv off. Arabella then made her way back to the kitchen hoping that Guzzy would be there waiting for her.

She was just lovely. Her smile and her demeanor. She was built to be this predator, he was sure. The kind that lures you in with its beauty and an element of mystery, promising exposed secrets among other things. And then you were ensnared, trapped and under the mercy of the creature. She was given thee gifts, these tools to become that person. But she wasn't. She had remained sweet, playful. Sure, she lived life, did things that others wouldn't dream of doing. However, she still maintained control over herself and her own life. Control over the things she did and the people that she kept near her. And it was a self control only. She was not interested in changing others or making them do what she wanted or needed them to do. She left that all on them, just as she would prefer that someone leave decisions to help people up to her. Arabella was an incredibly interesting thing. An incredibly interesting and beautiful witch that he was enamored with. That he had openly shown an obsession with and attraction to. He settled into the couch cushions and moved an arm over the head of the furniture. And then it occurred o him that if he relaxed too much, there was a possibility that he would lapse out of solidity entirely, and he straightened his posture, trying his damndest to remain focused.
Guzzy's mouth was in a straight line, his brow slightly furrowed as he felt the need to maintain visibility become more urgent. And then, suddenly, Arabella saved him from his worries. She explained that she would be asleep soon and then he could relax. Though he did not wish to, he would drift out of his physical body, if only for a moment. Being a ghost was something that would be extremely trying for him, especially in this situation. If Arabella wasn't entirely against the idea of potentially dating him, well, it would be an obstacle. And beyond strange. But he had passed the point where being dead effected his existence. If he was here and conscious, then he would pursue his afterlife as he saw fit. He could treat it just like a normal life. Though, it wasn’t. It wasn't anything near normality. But they didn't need normal anyway. Even as a human he was completely in against the idea of normalcy for the sake of being normal. The bandwagons and monotony of the accepted way of life was just never enough for him. And then there was Arabella. Already, she went against the grain, sporting a dragon tattoo and a hairstyle that was less accepted in terms of the media ideal of femininity.
Suddenly, he noticed that the girl on his lap had drifted to sleep and he forced himself to feel some sort of relief. He could rest a little now. Gather his senses. Reflect on the success of today's ventures. It was a great success, he thought. He had sought to speak to this girl that he had become captivated with and she had received him decently. No. More than decently. She had welcomed him with open arms into her life, even after having known that he had been lurking around her house, invisible and prying with no respect for her privacy. She forgave him this trespass and then returned any warm feelings that he had shown. Gradually, he shifted into a state of apparent nonexistence, slowly setting her head down onto the couch below. From there, he stared at the television for a moment before deciding to drift upstairs. It wasn't long until he found himself in Arabella's room. He perched on the bed and laid himself down, staring up at the ceiling, losing track of time as he usually did. As it was, ghosts didn't sleep. Sometimes, time passed fairly quickly. At others, it passed maddeningly slow.
It seemed that it was moving along at a decent rate, however, as suddenly, Arabella was beside him on the bed, pulling out a notebook and pen before scribbling away. He didn't feel entirely comfortable spying on her but he had considered the fact that he was doing that very thing for a month or so now. So he moved forward, looking over her shoulder at the paper as she scribbled down something that worried him. Separated? He suddenly recalled when they were in the pool earlier, the mention of the vision sticking out clearly in his mind. Did she foresee them being separated? Soon? What exactly happened? When she left down the stairs, he didn't follow. He stayed for a moment, allowing what he had just seen to eat away him for a moment. But he couldn't stay up here too long; Arabella was awake. She'd wonder what was going on. So he moved down into the kitchen, watching Arabella walk out into the living room to turn off the television. He looked over at the food she'd prepared and then finally manifested himself into a solid form. The kitchen felt warm, still alive with the after effects of the cooking. He heard her footsteps and turned around, offering her a shy smile, "Everything looks amazing."
