i'll be there when you're insecure TAG: HAYDEN // WORDS: // NOTES: BLAH. IT'S A START THOUGH The angel stood completely still before the pearly gates. This was his home now. This was where he belonged. This was where he was accepted by others. It was a a constant bitchy reminder of what he was. He was an angel. A guardian angel. Not born one, but instead, made. His first, prior and only given motive was to protect humans at all costs. No matter what happened. He was made to protect the human from anything that threatened their vulnerable race. Any dangers. Humans were so weak and oblivious to the supernatural world around them. They needed some kind of protection. But not all of them were lucky to have a guardian angel.
Well, yes, he was given a seconds shot at life. He was grateful of that. He was thankful for it. He was too young to die anyways. Too young. It was too early for him. Way too soon. His life was taken away from him, against his will. He didn't want to die. But that damned vampire tore his throat out and left him to bleed to death. His death wasn't quick like some others were, his was agonizing and painful. Today, along the side of throat, there still remains the scar of where the vampire ripped him apart. Since then, he felt a strong hatred towards vampires.
There was also a downside to being a guardian angel. Nathaniel couldn't feel-- emotionally. Yes. His emotions were still there. But he could feel the touch of others. Sometimes, he could, but maybe it was only his memories playing with his mind. He could remember how the touch of another felt, a hug, the grasp of a handshake. He remembered it all. He didn't want to forget it either. Then there was also another downside of being angel. Another part of the contract he hated so much. He couldn't fall in love with a human. And that was something he wanted the most in life. Something he craved. Something he desired so much. Years ago, he wanted to fall in love with someone like him. But he couldn't. He would fall from grace if he did. So over the years, he stripped himself from all emotions; from anger, to sadness to happiness. He was an emotionless puppet for quite some time in his life. It was up until recently, he began studying humans like science experiments, learning from them; how they moved, reacted to situations. And he applied it to himself. He wanted to 'feel' something again. He wanted to fill that empty pit in his heart.
Thump. Thump. Thump.
Nathaniel turned around when he heard footsteps. He smiled at the other guardian angel who had approached him. Hayden. "Nice to see you, Hayden." He said, nodding at the presence of the other male.

i'll be your everything , Hayden started toward the pearly gates which was his new home. Well, actually he had two homes. One was a dirty flat that he chose to live in so he could be closer the human world, which he used to be a part of, and the pearly gates where his father took him in to be an angel. Hayden was forever grateful for this, but he had lost so much. Part of him just didn’t want to have to watch Mira be happy with someone else, have to watch Beth kill people like him, and have his sister, Delilah, turn into a werewolf every full moon. Those were things that killed him inside. Oh how ironic. Well not kill, but it pained him. It couldn’t kill him, he was already dead. Yes, dead. He was killed viciously by a werewolf and the monster turned his innocent sister to the dark side and turned his other sister into a werewolf. Still, he didn’t hate werewolves. He wanted to, but he couldn’t because lately whenever he thought of a werewolf he thought of his sister. She was such a kind and sweet girl. A little loud, but endearing none the less. He couldn’t hate someone like that. Really, he only hated the werewolves that enjoyed killing and liked hurting humans. That was sick and inhumane. Hayden couldn’t understand people like that. How could anyone enjoy hurting people? That was something that Hayden would never understand. That’s why he was so worried about Beth. She seemed to enjoy killing those innocent supernaturals. It was like she thought it was fair and that it should have been done. Hayden would have never guessed that his sister could have done something like that. She was always so shy and emotional. She was always so scared, but she definitely didn’t seem scared when Hayden last saw her. Hayden remembered that time very vividly. She was killing some poor shifter who was trying to shift to run away, but couldn’t under Beth’s unforgiving grip. She wouldn’t give up on the poor thing. She just kept stabbing it, every time it was deeper. It scared him to see his sister act in such a way. She wasn’t the girl he knew, but he knew that she was there somewhere. Then in front of him was Nate, one of his best friends. They had been friends since Hayden had become an angel. Nate had taught him about being an angel and his duties as one. He also taught Hayden one of the most important rules, to never fall in love with a human. Hayden wasn’t worried about that rule though. He had already fallen in love with someone. Her name was Mira and she was the most beautiful girl Hayden had ever met and her voice was better than anyone’s he had ever heard. She had a better voice then any choir of angels he had ever heard. He couldn’t even think of a word to describe her melodious voice. No word gave it justice. They were all just not good enough. They were pathetic in comparison to her voice. Then Hayden shook his head trying to concentrate on something other than Mira, which was harder than it looked. “Hey Nate, how are you?” He asked with a smile on his lips.

i'll be there when you're insecure TAG: HAYDEN // WORDS: 800 // NOTES: NADA Nathaniel turned around to face the other male. The corner of his lips tugged upwards to form a small smile when he saw the familiar face. Hayden. Hayden. Where to start with this? To put this to simpler terms, Hayden was his best friend and student. He was like his younger brother he wanted but never had. Hayden died and became an angel. He was made one, not born as one. Just like Nathaniel. They both suffered a brutally death and died at a young age. Except Hayden, was killed by a werewolf, not a vampire. But still, he was torn apart by a supernatural being. A fate that no one should have. No one should have died the same way he had. No one. Fate was cruel to the good people.
Angel who didn't have a charge were giving training duty, where they had to train the newer angels. Nathaniel, who didn't have a charge at the time and still didn't, was ordered to train the newer angels. Not like he minded anyways. It was a job he frequently had. It wasn't like he didn't want to have a human to stalk and protect. Hell. He loved to be a guardian angel, instead of being just an angel. He wanted to be one so badly, but he was never assigned one or he never found a human so important that he should dedicate his whole life to them and protect them at all costs. Nathaniel just found training duty to be..much more safe but less thrilling. But it was still good enough. It was something which he could waste some time one. Two years ago, he was called once more to train a newbie, where as he was assigned to Hayden. Like a good teacher, he trained his assigned student and took well care of him. He taught Hayden how to fly, how to be a good angel and hand to hand combat. Sure, over two hundred years of experience beat a mere two days. Hayden was assigned to one of the finest and most ideal angels. Nathaniel /never/ faltered to strayed away from duty. He was a role model to the others.
And he nagged on and on, emphasizing never to fall for a human. He constantly reminded Hayden of the dangers and consequences for falling for one. Nathaniel had seen close friends fall from grace after their attempting, and failed, to sneak around with a lowly human. He didn't want to same to happen to his student. But of course. It wouldn't happen. Hayden had told him about how he was madly in love with his childhood sweetheart, who luckily, happened to be a mermaid. Lucky for him. There was a pang of jealousy. Nathaniel didn't like he feeling. He never did. He was jealous of his best friend because he had found someone to love that was supernatural. He was lucky. As for Nathaniel, who would want to fall for an emotionless puppet? He threw all of his emotions away because he was afraid of falling for a human and then having his wings ripped right off him.
“Hey Nate, how are you?”
The elder angel adverted his attention towards the male. How..was he feeling today? He shrugged and ran his fingers through his hair. It was obvious that Nathaniel was frustrated with himself. "I'm..not sure.." He said, letting his words trail off. It irked him. Ever since he stripped himself of his emotions. He wasn't sure what he was feeling anymore. It took time for him to figure out what his emotions were. Slowly, he was starting to regain his emotions and Hayden, also contributed to it by spending time with Nathaniel. He sighed. "I'm good." He said as he nodded, as if he was confirming his statement. "But I could be better." He said, chuckling softly.
Nathaniel let his blue eyes flick towards the younger angel. "So why are you here today?" He asked curiously. Its been quite a while since he had seen the other angel. Not too long. But they both had taken separate roads, since Hayden had become fully trained. Surely, Hayden had a reason for being here. Nathaniel was here just to check up on things and news, which was something he did quite often. Also it meant that he was still good. He was able to go home. He wasn't evil or fallen. That. Was a good feeling to him. Honestly, he would like to stay on the ground. He liked to spend his time examining the humans like they were science experiments. He watched them, trying to pick up on emotions, how the reaction because he wanted to fit in more. He wanted to learn how to blend in more, instead of standing out like a sore thumb.

i'll be your everything ,
“I’m good. But I could be better.” Nate responded. Hayden furrowed his eyebrows and dugs his hands into his pockets. “Well that’s not good. Something wrong Nate?” Hayden sincerely cared about what was wrong with his angel friend. Yes, sometimes being an angel wasn’t the most enjoyable thing in the world especially if you had something on earth that you wanted, but it wasn’t the worst thing. At least they weren’t ghosts. They never seemed satisfied. They were always seeking revenge. It was sad. Part of was glad that he was killed the way he was. Since the person was in their werewolf form he would never know their human form meaning that he wouldn’t want to kill this person or try and hunt this person down. Also when in their werewolf they had no control over themselves or at least that’s what Delilah had told him. Oh Delilah…such a sweet girl. A little rough around the edges and loud, but Hayden did love her. He hated the idea that she was a monster though. He never told her that though. He couldn’t lose another sister. If Delilah found out that he was thinking that way about her she would most definitely just not talk to him anymore because he would only be insulting her and her friends. He had already lost Beth to the hunters and he wasn’t looking to lose another sister. Hayden felt bad for Nate; he knew what his murder looked like. It made Hayden wonder what Nate would do if he met his murder. Would Nate try and get revenge? No, Nate didn’t seem like the kind of guy. He was a kind person like Hayden. Actually the two were very much alike. They were gentleman, kind, polite, and just fun to be around. Even though their age difference was great they got along well. They were best friends actually. They had gone through similar things in their life, but never turned evil because of it.
“So why are you here today?” Nate asked. Nate had a right to ask such a question. It was quite logical because Hayden usually spent most his days on earth trying to cling to his old life as much as possible. Still, Hayden went to the pearly gates occasionally to pick up news and to see if anything was new. But he did have a reason that he was there for today and it was to see Nate. He had a question to ask him for a favor. Hayden hoped he would do this favor because it was quite important. Though Hayden thought he would help him out because well they were best friends and they hung out quite a bit. Hayden knew he’d do the same for Nate if Nate ever asked him. “Oh umm…Nate, I had a question for you. Actually it’s more of a favor you’d be doing for me.” Hayden started. “Okay I know you like humans and that you really want one to protect so well I found one for you. Well it’s my sister, Beth. I would really appreciate it if you could watch over her for me. She’s in a really dark place right now and she needs someone. I’d do it myself, but I’m afraid that if she sees me it could push her over the edge or the sight of me would just bring back bad memories. ” Hayden said looking at Nate pleadingly. “So…will you do it? I’d really appreciate it if you did.” He asked hoping the answer was a yes.

i'll be there when you're insecure TAG: HAYDEN // WORDS: 715// NOTES: NADA
"..Something wrong Nate?"
He shook his head. There was nothing wrong. He was just confused, frustrated even. He just didn't know what he was feeling. He wasn't sure. It always took him a while to figure it out. His emotions was like a bundle of tangled wire. And he was trying to find out which wire was his phone charger. It was a pain in the ass to figure out his emotions and get them straight. Hayden knew that. He about how Nate removed all of his emotions several years ago and was no slowly, trying to obtain it all back. "Can't get my emotions straightened out." He said, shooting Hayden a small, weak smile.
Then Hayden answered his question of why he was here. A..favor? Nathaniel seemed a tad bit hesitant about this 'favor'. In the end, he would do anything for his best friend. There was so much that Hayden had done for him. It just felt right to repay the favor. He raised an arched eyebrow in curiosity at Hayden, as if he was gesturing the other angel to go on. Hayden started with some kind of introduction, stating that he knew Nathaniel enjoyed the company of other humans, which was very true. With humans..he felt something, must be because of how weak and emotional they were. "...well I found one for you." The elder angel immediately perked up like an excited young child. A small goofy grin was soon plastered on his face. Hayden found a human for him? One which he could befriend and dedicate his whole life to protect. It sounded a bit silly, like a little kid making new friends on their first day of school, but he was excited to know who it was. "...Well it’s my sister, Beth...you could watch over her for me.." Ah. His sister. Nathaniel did owe Hayden a couple of favors over the years, so it felt right at accept this favor. Hayden chose the right guy for this job. Nate was just a good guy; caring, loyal, good shoulder to cry on. He is super protective of the ones he loves and cares about. He held all the attributes of a ideal guy or angel.
But then another question came to his mind. Why couldn't Hayden do it himself? "...would just bring back bad memories." Right. Hayden was dead. Nathaniel automatically assumed that his sister was unaware of the fact that he was still alive, but instead, an angel now. Did she know about the supernatural species that roamed around. It would take a lot for a person to believe that their brother was there and alive. His sister, Beth, would probably have a heart attack or pass out from finding out that Hayden was still alive. Either way, hew knew that is Beth found out that her brother was alive, it would not be a good reaction. Nate strayed far far away from the people he knew and cared about once he was made an angel. He didn't want to see their reactions of his presence there. He was sure Hayden was doing the same.
Would he accept the favor? Of course! That was a ridiculous question to even ask. There was no way he was going to turn down a favor like that. It was stupid. And he wanted to charge he could watch over. Over his two hundred years of being an angel, he was never given a charge. It was on the top of his wish list. Now. He had one or was suggested a human to watch over. The elder angel nodded. "You know I will." He said reassuringly, raising his arm and patting Hayden lightly on the shoulder. He then chuckled lightly to himself. He dropped his hand so now it returned to his side. Nathaniel glanced towards Hayden and sighed. "I promise I'll protect her." He said, sounding very heroic. That was something he did often; play the hero's role in the storyline. "Where can I find here and is there any pointers I should know about her?" He asked, wanting to know about Beth before he walked into this situation unarmed. If he was going to guard a human, he would need to know where in the world to find her, and get to know her.

i'll be your everything , “You know I will.” Nate said patting Hayden lightly on the arm. Hayden sighed relieved and ran a hand through his thick brunette hair. He smiled and said happily, “ Thanks Nate, it means a lot. Now I won’t have to worry about her so much, which is a relief. I mean I already have Mira and Viv to worry about.” Mira was the girl that Hayden had been in love with since he met her when he was about six. She was even gorgeous back then with her silky blonde hair and ocean blue eyes that he drowned in every time he looked at her. It was worth it though just to be able to look at her. He was like his own personal drug. She was just so irresistible. How would he possibly resist her with that face and that body? She was more beautiful than anyone he had ever met, not to mention her beautiful singing voice. Oh God, she could sing like no one’s business. It was amazing. She was the perfect singer. Whenever they’d hang out together when they were younger they’d write songs and just mess around with music. He would play, while she sang. It was perfect harmony. Hayden would do anything for her and or anything she asked of him. He never had to worry about her asking anything bad because she was such a good person. Better than any angel, well to him she was. She didn’t have to be a human because Hayden would protect her forever. Luckily his girl was a mermaid. He had only recently learned this though. This only made her more perfect. Now, he could love her without having to become a fallen angel. Though, even if she was a human he would give it all up for her. She was something different. She was something that would only come once in a million years. He couldn’t miss out on that. Now Viv was whole different story. She was his charge. She definitely kept him busy. She was an endearing girl, but it seemed like she was always getting into trouble or getting hurt or whatever else he could think of. He definitely was never bored with Mira and Viv in his life. Oh not to mention Beth and Delilah. Hayden was always checking up on Beth from afar and always visiting Delilah. Though Delilah didn’t visit Delilah as much because she already had someone looking after her, Owen, who seemed pretty close with Viv as well. It was a small world wasn’t it? Then his thoughts were stopped by Nate saying, “I promise I’ll protect her.” He sound so heroic when he said it that Hayden just laughed. “ Thanks Superman. I’ll be sure to call you whenever I have any other problems.” He joked lightly. Then Nate said, “Where can I find her and is there any pointers I should know about her?” Hayden swallowed and wondered how to phrase that his sister was a hunter and would stop at no costs to hurt Nate no matter what if she found out he was a supernatural. Well he guessed that he might as well just say it. “ Oh well first off she had brunette hair about my shade, pale skin, and very blue eyes. Here’s what she looks like.” He started taking a picture of his pocket and gave it to Nate to look at. Hayden had put the picture in his pocket just in case Nate agreed. “ She’s kind of quiet and is emotional. And well after my death I saw from afar that she changed kind of. I mean she’s um very bitter and angry about it and well she’s a hunter so… um yeah. She might try and hurt you just so you know. Just be aware of that.” He said awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck. “ You still up for the challenge, Nate?” Hayden asked timidly hoping that the answer was yes. OOC: Picture = clikah!

i'll be there when you're insecure TAG: HAYDEN // WORDS: BLAH// NOTES: NADA
He begin to explain how the female looked like, but the description was quite vague. Brunette, pale skin, blue eyes. That could match the description of many girls out there including his pasts supernatural hookups or any pretty girl out on the street. Nate wished he had a photo reference of the girl. As if the other male heard his thoughts. Hayden pulled out a picture of the girl to show Nate. As Hayden took out a picture of his sister, the older angel took the picture and examined it, letting the picture of the girl linger in his mind. Very pretty girl. Gorgeous. Plump light pink lips. Pale blue skin. Wavy brown hair and striking, one of a kind blue eyes. Like his. He examined the photo, trying to burn the image in his mind so he could never forget it. . It wouldn't be that difficult to find her, all he had to do was keep his eyes opened and alert.
His head jerked up when he heard Hayden say that she was a hunter. He felt his heart drop. Oh..okay..she wasn't the typical normal human, but instead she had a slight twist. She was a human with a bit of a punch. As if she didn't have enough issues. Beth was already in a dark place in her life, devastated and vengeful of her siblings deaths. She needed to comforted. But now Nate found out that Beth was also a hunter. That just made the whole thing more complicated. That meant she was already out there murdering supernaturals. That was going to make the whole thing much more complicated. She was going to try to kill him if she found out what he truly was, that he was one of the para norms that were living around here. He shoved his fears in the back of his mind. "I doubt she could kill me." He joked lightly. Which was true. A human would not be able to kill an angel. Yes. She could hurt him and he might be unconscious for a couple of hours, but soon he'd be back up on his feet and walking. And uh, Beth would be shocked and devastated that she couldn't kill Nate. That wouldn't be good.
He gave the picture back to Hayden and nodded. "Leave it to me." He said, sounding quite confident, The elder angel turned around to walk away. He did a salute hand motion and began to find this girl. Whoever she was. And right now, he had no plan in his head to approach her. Only use his natural charisma and pretty face. That usually did the work, charm them ladies. He could also play the role of 'guy who wants to date her' or 'friendly boy next door'. He could play all those roles quite well. He was a natural born actor. But there was this deep feeling in his gut that this was going to be more complicated than it was in his head. Watch out, Nate. Beth is a girl that can't be tamed.
