Who in their right mind wouldn't say yes? He was perfection to a T, so polite, sweet, with a gentle-nature, caring, protective and personally she was excited to introduce him completely to her parents. She had introduced Cade to her step-mom, as her father hadn't happened to be home at the time they had stopped by. Nevertheless, so many things had happened, and now she was heading home with a few things, besides an earful from her best friend from college, Elliot - yes, it was a girl, she just went by Elle now, as well as something she was nervous about Cade liking. Would he like her new hair? Her stomach dropped, she had extensions in right now, so it didn't look like she had gotten it cut, mainly them for the wedding as well. Her stomach did a flip-flop as she approached their apartment in her car. Yeah, they'd moved in, and she was afraid of Cade running off for....whatever reason. She personally didn't understand why she was nervous, but she was. Or maybe it was just her nerves. Yes, her nerves. Wrinkling her nose at herself, the blonde then clutched the steering wheel for a moment as she stayed in the car in the parking garage for the apartment building that they now lived in together. She didn't mind. Cade didn't tend to steal the blanket too much, so she had a system now if he did, she just curled right up next to him. Because she could. The blonde got out and grabbed her bag, having gone to get Cade a little something, just because she could, plus a dress for a friend's baby shower. Babies. She gulped. She'd much prefer not to think about bringing a baby into the world right now. Not with her nightmares. She'd been having nightmares about Harry coming back, him making his way back into her life, worming himself between her and Cade, just because he could. Even if he had a girlfriend, she knew Harry would suck her into trying to expose her secret. But there was her step-mom, she'd threatened him, would he try something now? Now when they were all older and without their parents around? She had a nightmare the other night, accidentally waking Cade up - which she felt bad, because the hunters that had come into this town, had gotten to both of them. They'd snagged her from this apartment and lured Cade to them. Running a hand through her hair, she'd beaten Cade home. Where-ever he was, probably out doing something. She took out her extensions, and ruffled her new hair, grinning weakly. She hoped he liked it. Sure, it was a shaggy layered look, but it wasn't like...completely short. Nibbling her bottom lip, the mermaid cooed to her fish, who all responded to her voice, "Hello my darlings." she grinned, as she put away some groceries she'd grabbed on the way home. Setting the box by where Cade came home, it wasn't something major. It was actually a pair of tickets to his favorite band that happened to be coming to town. Grinning lightly, she then finished putting the things away and ran her hand gently along the glass to her large fish tank, noticing the pair of Clown fish she had, Nemo and Freddie follow her fingers as they always did. Now though she knew, eyeing the coffee table in the living room, came the wedding plans. Her stomach churned out of excitement. She'd need to figure out all who to invite, and her mind wandered. Who would Cade invite? Worry creased her brow. She loved him so much. He was so sweet, and she could only imagine what could have happened if she hadn't gone to Italy after him. First off, she absolutely loved that country now, it was the place they were planning to go for their honeymoon. Then, her graduation coming up as well. She was all set-up for a job at the local zoo here in Manuka, and she knew they understood she wouldn't start fully for awhile. Nevertheless as she plopped down on the couch, her hand reached out and grabbed the magazine from David's Bridal she'd gotten from Elle. Because Elle was just a friend like that. Leafing through it, she perked, as she sipped on some water when she heard footsteps, and a key in the lock. Switching magazines to another one, the now short-haired blonde grinned towards the other handsome, wonderful blonde, her future husband, the one she wanted to spend eternity with, "Hi, Cade." outfit. click, click here for her hair XD any and all notes can go here |
