Absolutely. Nothing. That morning, after she had woken up, her parents were out and Fletcher was practically sprinting about the house, looking for his telephone. It had bugged her, after all, he was holding it at the time of his rampage. Boys were just stupid, or so it turned out. A long, four or so, years ago, she had actually believed that boys were smart. What a mistake that was! Though she still hung out with them and all that jazz, they just... didn't seem so ingenious.
Whatever. Either way, she was bored as hell. The television was infected with reruns and the only new shows that were on were obnoxious shows like Gossip Girl or The Real Housewives of New Jersey - shows that Evie didn't watch. So there she sat, staring at a black television screen, the light flowing through a window. Her legs were crossed and she was bored out of her mind.
On any other day, she would have gone to the park. Maybe she would have visited a cafe, or the music store. The problem was, she had just eaten, the weather wasn't exactly the most beautiful, and she had recently bought about twenty-seven dollars-worth of music the day before. She most certainly would have practiced her firetaming skills, but her father didn't want her doing anything unsafe while he and her mother were gone. Yes, firetaming was considered unsafe, not for her, for the house.
What else to do? Skateboard to the pet store! She always loved looking at the cute animals and had debated on buying something, maybe a snake. Something low-maintenance. The petite blonde quickly arrived at the pet store after grabbing her board out of the garage. Though the weather wasn't particularly lovely, it certainly hadn't begun to rain. For that, she was grateful. Evelyn sighed and carried her board in, ignoring the rude glares from the staff. If they didn't like it, then they could stick it in their juice box and suck on it. Rolling her eyes, the young teen made her way to the furry animals. She swooned at the adorable kittens and puppies, the little hamsters and mice. God, they were all so cute!

He had spent more time with his new friends Molly and Becca, even though he hadn’t yet spent the day with both of them. He knew they were both really good friends with one another, so it was kind of weird to him that he hadn’t had the chance to be with them both. Today though, he felt like he should do something productive. He had already baked a load of cookies that had yet to be eaten with Becca, and had a craving for the half-baked chocolate chip cookie ones that they had made different shapes. He smiled at the memory of that night. It had actually been the first night he had ever actually met his band mate. It was odd that they had only just met because they had been living in the same apartment for a few weeks. Yes, fletcher, a ghost, lived in an apartment. And it was the cleanest apartment he knew of, too thanks to him. His not being able to sleep had led to many nights cleaning around the house just to keep his hands busy. He liked cleaning, and his slight case of OCD also made him more aware of the mess around him. Fletcher’s room was the cleanest out of the four people that lived there, but he had even straightened Raph’s and Robin’s rooms. And after getting her permission, he had even helped Becca clean her disastrous room.
Today Fletcher wanted to go outside to do something. he was a tad bored being in the home alone. He didn’t know where everyone had gone off to, but he didn’t want to be here by himself. He grabbed his jacket and flew invisibly out of the apartment building and slowly drifted to the pavement. Since there was no one around, he made himself more visible right away. He didn’t go completely solid because that wasted too much energy. Instead, he had learned that being just under solid was good enough to last him all day and he still had a good amount of energy when he finally went transparent again. He even did it for shows so that he could be solid for the meet and greet part when the show finally ended.
Fletcher walked down the empty sidewalk and looked around for things to do. There was always going to the park and chilling on the bench people watching, but he didn’t want to sit. Fletcher wanted to go out and do something for the day. What he needed was someone to do it with though. His friend had recommended that he get some kind of pet, but he was too busy already with the band and being with friends to have an animal friend. But it couldn’t hurt to look for one... Maybe that’s what he could do today. Fletcher set off for the pet store with his hands in his pockets. When he finally arrived, he opened the door with the bell ringing as he entered. “Hi!” he greeted the cashier happily. “Where are the animals to look at?” he asked a little quieter. After she had pointed him in the direction to go, he made his way to the back of the store. Where the puppies were on one section, and kittens were on the other. “Aw.” He cooed adoringly at one kitten who had begun to play with her tail. He noticed another girl looking at all the different animals. He placed his finger on the glass and watched the kitten take interest in it by reaching his paw out and trying to catch it. Fletcher giggled and moved his finger along the plastic wall separating his finger from the kitten. Suddenly he wanted a kitten…

The petite blonde whipped around with wide blue eyes. Before her was a ghost, not that she knew that. He looked perfectly solid to her, but he certainly wasn't. He was looking at the kittens, and in all honesty, all thoughts of owning a snake quickly made a beeline out of her head. A sigh escaped her as she slowly walked next to him. "They're so cute!" She said quietly, enthusiasm in her voice.
As most bipolar children were, she felt an overwhelming sense of happiness. That's how she felt, well, almost always - an intensity behind each emotion. The warm, fuzzy feeling permeated throughout her veins, a soft heat filling her. It was as if she was sitting before a fire on a cold day. It was nice, really. It made her smile as she stared down at the little kittens. My god, they were so cute! Their little plush faces with large eyes all stared up at her. Her own, icy eyes met theirs with a heartwarming smile. Of the kittens, only two were playing. Most were huddled together. The boy beside her was staring at the female who was chasing her tail, much like a dog. However, Evie's eyes fixed themselves on an orange kitten. This one, obviously, was a boy. He was roaming about, crawling around the little pen. The fifteen-year-old watched the little explorer with great interest.
"Oh my god. I can't want him. My mom will kill me." She mumbled under her breath, yearning for the little cat. It was so cute. So. So. Cute. Shaking her head softly, she forced herself to turn away; however seconds later, the girl was right in front of the kitten pen. Her blue eyes darted around the pen, seeing only one orange cat, two black kittens and one calico. There were also four gray kittens as well. The orange on was her favorite. He was so adorable, and he was the loudest. The cat, who she decided to call Phoenix for the time being, locked eyes with her and let out a small, but courageous mew. Evie let out a soft mock-growl and giggled back.
(Not a problem! :D)
