You had to have it all, Well have you had enough? You greedy little bastard, You will get what you deserve. When all is said and done, I will be the one to leave you in the misery And hate what you've become.
------- Blood… It was everywhere. On the walls and pooling around the still warm body of a dying elderly woman. Sera knelt next to the woman and sighed. She knew that there was nothing she could do for the frightened old woman who was dying right in front of her. It was sickening to see the look of fear in her eyes, her throat coated in the dark sticky bloody. Sera hadn’t witnessed the attack on the woman but given the severity of her injuries and such, it was obvious what had done it. She didn’t normally find a lot of elderly people attacked so the vampire that had done this must have been newer and thus went for less of a challenge. Fuckin hell… It had been a messy job to say the least, brutal and merciless. They had wanted to cause the poor old woman as much pain as humanly possible before she slipped into oblivion… Fucking vampires. She should have killed him when she had the chance, she could have but she had been seeking information and it knocked her out unexpectedly. Not that he could have killed her but he had tried and that was all that Sera needed. Actually no, all that she had needed was the fact that he was a vampire, him trying to kill her was simply fuel added to the fire. “He…plea—“ The old woman gurgled, trying to form words, trying to plead with the hunter to help her but there was nothing that could be done.
This was Sera’s fault and she knew it. Not that she was directly responsible but in her quest for answers about the vampire that had taken her mother and grandmother’s lives all those years ago, she had allowed an innocent to suffer. She should have been more ashamed, should have stayed with the woman so she didn’t die alone but Sera wasn’t that kind of person. Leaving the woman to die alone, Seraphina moved through the dark alleyways in hopes that the vampire who had done that would still be around. The woman’s blood stained her hands in both a physical and symbolical way and it was unsettling for Sera. She had once been a guardian, a protector and yet what was she now? Nothing… She was nothing.
No, she was a hunter now. Not human, not an angel, she was fallen and she bore that title with a mixture of shame and resolution. The Big Man knew what he was doing when it came to punishments but she had to wonder if the punishment really fit the crime. She’d have to ask him… if she ever saw him again. At this point she was close to giving up on the possibility of redemption. What was the point of it really? Maybe it would have been better if she had never been made into a guardian angel in the first place. Then again, that would have meant that she would have left her brother alone completely and she hadn’t wanted that. Ugh…her existence now just seemed so goddamn futile.
A noise up ahead caused Sera to pull out of her morbid thoughts thankfully and allowed her to get back to focusing on the job at hand. Sera had a stake in hand and she intended on using it once she caught up with the lowlife crea—
Her thought was unable to be continued as she was grabbed from behind and thrown against the dirty alley wall hard. It hurt. There was that damn pain factor again but at least she didn’t need to be scared of dying. That was good at least. She grunted in pain as she bounced off the wall but she didn’t fall, she was able to keep her balance as she dodged the vampire’s kick. She was so NOT in the mood for this shit right now. Allowing him to stumble forward since he missed her, she grabbed hold of both his shoulders and pushed him against the wall, holding him there. He struggled of course but the moment he saw the stake he calmed his ass down, growling at her but he didn’t fight. “I ain’t telling you nothing you loony bitch.” Bitch? Really? Was that the world’s most used insult in regards to a woman or what? “Where is she? I know you know so just tell me and then I’ll—“ The vampire laughed. “Then you’ll kill me. I ain’t stupid.” He had a valid point, his loss no matter what really. “Where the fuck is Helena? Talk goddamnit!” She was really really losing her patience. She felt that she was so close to finding the vampire who had taken her mother and grandmother from her and Sorin. So much research and contacts to even get a name and she wasn’t sure if she even had the right vampire. But hey, not like she’d feel bad if she staked the wrong vampire. The flesh easily ripped from under her fangs, her insatiable need for blood never ceasing to amaze even her. It was life. It was power and she needed it. She craved it. She killed for it. This victim was young, and female. She was human, and he blood tasted like honey, so sweet and filling! However, Lena's harsh actions were anything but sweet as her sharpened fangs tore the skin on the girls neck while the girl screamed in agony, yet Helena herself was enjoying every minute of it. Of her dominance, of the girl's vulnerability. Soon though, the vampire physically felt the strength leave the mortal's body, and it was less fun when they weren't writhing in her arms, she loved it when they fought back. That meant that what she did hurt more. She liked it, the sadism, the pain and the hurt and the echoing screams. They told her that she had it, the power to be able to do something so horrible and get away with it. And she always did, after all, she had killed hundreds of people if not more, and she didn't regret any of those kills.
As she felt the last drops being drained from the body in her arms, she released her bite, licking her lips over her fangs, loving the tender sensation of the tips that had just been fed. There was no blood in sight on here, though she had ripped up the girls throat pretty badly, but by now Lena was a professional at this. More than a professional, she lived for this. This feeling of brutal satisfaction at others plain and blood, and it held her together like human food never would. She wiped the excess blood from her lips with the back of her hand, making sure that there was none of her face before dropping the limp, lifeless body onto the ground like so many others she did. She looked at the girl. She was blond, pretty and Helena knew for a fact that she was a skank, if her belt like skirt gave any clue. The world was better without skanks like her. Not giving the body a second glance, Helena walked away, leaving it in that sorry ass drive way of hers. It was filthy, maybe Lena had done her a favour too. Hah. Favours. Lena, never in her existence, would do anything for anyone willingly. Not even for a please and a bite.
She looked at her watch. She wasn't late, but she wanted to go see him quickly because she had a little job for him. Sean that is, a vampire that was like her slave ad would do anything for her at the blink of an eyelash. He was strong though, so he was useful. He did prove useful in following instructions, so she decided to keep him. It was fun having a boy toy around, and sometimes she even let him touch her. Not in an intimate way, but it pleased him none the less. For a vampire, he surely was not at all bad looking, and he knew that under the exterior that she was an animal. Like right now, her clothes shades of beige, sensible sexy shoes, with glasses and her hair pinned up. She looked like she was a bit geeky, but sexy and she loved to she such an innocent exterior, she looked like she could not hurt a fly and that always helped her out with dinner. She barred her teeth into an evil smile at the thought of all the men lining up. She lived for it, it felt divine to have such power over them. She wanted to be all-powerful. And she would be, after all, she had an eternity to do it in.
She just turned into an alleyway when movement caught her attention. She stepped behind the wall for a second to listen to the voices. One of them was definitely Sean, but Helena had no idea who the other voice was. However, the voice seemed to know her. She smirked. Well, this should be fun. Emerging from where she was standing, Lena rolled her eyes at the sight of Sean being pinned up a wall by a girl. And not in a hot way. "Dear Sean, I would have thought that you'd go for someone less out of your league, I was wrong." She said, looking at him and shaking her head in disappointment. "Helena! Be careful, she wants you and she has a stake." His words were rushed and hurried in fear. She sighed. She glared at him. Maybe he was not so useful after all. "Listen to me now, this lovely young lady will let got of you, and I have a little something for you." She said, still not directing her gaze to the dark haired female. "And as for you, I would like it if you let him go because he is somewhat of use to me. For now. And this is about me, if I heard correctly?" She inquired innocently enough, her bright blue eyes sparkling with mirth as her smirk grew more sexy and menacing.

You had to have it all, Well have you had enough? You greedy little bastard, You will get what you deserve. When all is said and done, I will be the one to leave you in the misery And hate what you've become.
------- It was frustrating, simply catching someone she could easily see was on the bottom rung of vampire society but for the moment he was the only link Sera had and she wasn’t about to let him go very easily. It had taken her this long to get this far, she felt like she was so close and yet who knew if she even had the right vampire. There was so many vampire scum around that one never knew just what vampire served who. Helena was powerful and she had to be dealt with accordingly, assuming Sera had the right vampire yet again. God, it was all so fucking frustrating and there was no way of being sure of anything until she saw this Helena. She would know. Sera had an excellent memory and would easily be able to recall the face of her mother’s killer. Easily. She remembered her face as well as the sound of her voice. Staking the bitch was the only thing that Sera wanted to do today and yet right now she was busy trying to get info from a creepy little bloodsucker. He knew as well. The fact that he had right away known that she wanted answers meant that he knew what she wanted or more to the point, who she wanted. He would talk, Sera would make sure of that because she was sure there was a lot more things worse than death for a vampire. Sera had gotten rather good at the art of torture when it came to vampires but there was still things she hadn’t tried yet. He could easily become a test subject on her search for answers.
She wouldn’t be denied damnit! Sera had waited far too long for justice, she deserved some closure for at least one thing. Helena had stolen a lot from Sera and Sorin both and while yes, Sorin wasn’t around to know that their mother’s murderer was being put down, surely he would know from wherever he was now. Heaven most likely, kid had been a flipping saint. Nothing like his older sister of course but that was good. He had always been a good soul, someone too sweet and innocent to be put through the hell that he had been when Helena had attacked. Who knew why she had done it either. Could be anything really. An old score or hell, it could have simply been out of boredom. One never knew just why a vampire chose to kill. They weren’t the most predictable creature in the world and they were all different. Different attitudes, different motivations but they were all nothing more than bloodthirsty animals when it all came down to it. It was one of the reasons Sera so loved to hunt them. They were a challenge. That and there were so many different things you could do to them. At least you knew they couldn’t go outside which meant you had an advantage during the daytime. “Get the fu—“ The vampire started but was cut off when Sera grabbed him by the throat. “Shut up, I’m doing the talking, not you.”
Her demands for answers was cut off by movement out of the corner of her eye. Of course Sera tensed, feeling that there was going to be even more conflict than necessary. Did vampires protect their own? They weren’t clan creatures like werewolves could be but that didn’t mean they didn’t look after one another either. Holding her grip on the vampire, Sera looked over at the approaching woman and felt her blood turn to ice. It was her…
Screams… Her mother’s screams of pain mixing with the sound of her grandmother howling in a morbid mixture of pain and sorrow. The sound of death. It haunted Sera even now but seeing Helena again after all this time… Of course at the moment the beautiful woman wasn’t covered in her mother’s blood but it was definitely her. Despite feeling she was ready to face her before this, Sera felt as though she had been punched in the stomach, her heart racing quickly and she wasn’t sure now what she was going to do. Her voice sent shivers down Sera’s spine and for a moment she just stood frozen, staring at the sexy vampire who scolded Sean as though he were nothing but a child who had gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. How arrogant of the vampire to belittle Sera in such a way. Not that it surprised the fallen angel hunter but still, it stung. Helena made it seem as though it was a sure thing that Sera was going to do what she wanted and let the vampire live simply because she had a task for him to do. Fat chance there bitch.
It was that feeling of bitchery that Seraphina seemed to snap out of her surprised reverie. Her dark eyes narrowed on the vampire she had been seeking and then on the one she called Sean. “Oh really, cause that matters so much to me.” She commented, the sarcasm thick in her voice. Without missing a beat, Sera stabbed the stake into Sean, effectively killing the lowly vampire runner. She dropped his body to the ground with a satisfying thud. “I’m afraid he’s out of commission right now. Sorry about that.” This was more like it now. “And yes, I’ve been looking for you for a long time. I doubt you’d remember me but I remember you very well you heartless bitch.” Tags; Helena Lyrics; Had Enough - Breaking Benjamin Word Count; 922 Outfit; Outfit Comments; Finally!!
