†††††††------- †††††††-------
He had never been in so much pain in his life. With each step he weighed the pros and cons, thinking about the advantage to continuing walking down the side walk so late at night, and also thinking of all the reasons he should have just stopped and dropped dead right there. Keegan wasn't the type to give up. He was a fighter; he would always be alive until the end of time simply because he didn't want to embrace death. Not after everything he'd been through. He owed it to so many people to stay alive, even if staying alive meant walking around with a wooden stake in your stomach. The vampire stopped for a moment and tried to get his surroundings.
Where he was at looked so familiar. The scents matched up with someone too, but where was he? Keegan tried to think but his head was pounding and he couldn't think completely straight. God what happened to him? He was just hanging out with some human friends, having a good time until he saw some hunters; yeah they weren't the hunters he knew from around the place. They attacked him in front of humans; he fought, killed some, and then got staked. That was it in a nut shell. The wooden stake in his stomach was killing him so slowly it was unbearable. Blood just covered him from head to toe, his own blood.
Shaking his blonde hair slowly out of his eyes he noticed an apartment building he knew all to well. Owen. His werewolf friend. Fucking Owen better be home or else Keegan would completely steal his super cute dog. Gagging, the vampire used what strength he had to take himself to the male's apartment. Owen would help, if he was home alone that is. Keegan wasn't sure what was going on with him since it was like he dropped off the face of the earth, (something which Owen would hear about) but he was grateful the other wouldn't mind helping him. Or he hoped anyway.
By this point, Keegan was vomiting up his own blood. He couldn't heal properly since he couldn't touch the wooden stake in his stomach since it hurt like hell. Someone who wasn't affected by wood would have to do it. With memory as his guide, the vampire soon made it to the front door of the werewolf's house; he looked like death but whatever. Keegan didn't even knock; nope instead he just slapped the door as hard as he could, to make an awful sound. The vampire didn't care if he woke anyone up, if someone had a word to say to him, they'd meet his rage and his fangs. Life was slowly leaving his eyes and everything was turning into a blur. From beyond the door he did hear someone shuffling and he heard a creak. His dull forest green eyes met another figure and he gave a weak smile.
"Help me..."

He hadn't been doing much - not when Delilah wasn't around anyway. Besides, he personally was enjoying being able to dive into his physics studies and all that, otherwise he didn't do much. Apollo looked at him lazily and the werewolf gave the dog an offended look, "What? Don't look at me like that." The dog snorted and curled up by his feet as he was sitting on the couch, watching TV. Might as well. The black-haired male tilted his head slightly as MythBusters began to work on a rocket or something. He frowned, and did their math. Simple math, but it would work. The wolf sighed slightly and he leaned back, content for a quiet night. Patting the couch, he let Apollo get up there with him. He'd recently, after Delilah had gotten shot, he had taken first aid courses and all that fun stuff when his cousin harassed him to take it. Whatever. So he had, and he would admit he didn't...hate the first aid fiasco. Wrinkling his nose slightly, the black-haired male adjusted his t-shirt he was wearing before frowning when he thought he caught sound of movement along his floor in the apartment building. What the hell? Scowling, he jumped when Apollo darted towards the door. The male growled and turned down his TV, before silently beginning to approach the door. He jumped the moment something slammed the door, like a hand. Cocking an eyebrow, he attempted to smell the person, though only got...vampire? What the hell? Then he recognized it as he opened the door, only to see a very blonde male there, soaked in blood. Horror painted itself over his features. "Kee?" Owen spoke, stunned.
A vampire friend, a friend of his and Delilah's was in front of him, with a stake in his gut. Pausing, Owen caught his words and shut the door behind him, kicking it shut as he led Keegan inside. Setting him down on the floor in the kitchen, Owen spoke, pushing a pillow beneath his head, "Who the hell did this to you, Kee?" he demanded, as he grabbed the first aid kit, then frowned. Didn't vampires just need the wood taken out and they'd be fine? Maybe. Apollo tilted his head and then proceeded to go ahead and lick Keegan's face, the cleanest place it seemed as Owen looked to the wooden stake, figuring it out. Wrapping a hand around the protruding object of his friend's torso, he mused, "On three." He gripped it, his werewolf strength coming into play, "One...two...three!" he ripped out the wooden stake, and placed a pack of gauze over the wound, and he inquired, taking Keegan's shirt the rest of the way off his torso so he could make sure his friend hadn't gotten hurt anywhere else. "Is that it?" he demanded, worry settling into his gut. Pausing, he mused, "Umm...do you want me to sanitize it for you, just in case?" he wasn't all that up to date with how vampires healed, so he just hoped with the wooden stake out of his gut now, Keegan would get better. Tossing the wood stake into the nearby sink, Owen caught a whiff, smelled like hunters. Bloody idiots.

It took a minute for the vampire to actually walk into the apartment, his hand was cupping under the wound so he could protect the male's carpet from blood. However he couldn't keep his arm up long enough so he just forgot about the kind gesture. It wasn't like he didn't care he just couldn't be assed. The nickname came as a sort of comfort to the vampire as he was ushered into the house (the kitchen so that the clean up wasn't as messy and tricky he was guessing) and he gave a weak smile fangs and all. "So I don't know... if you noticed but..." His breathing was coming labored, it was starting to hurt. He was trying to make a witty remark but it just wasn't coming out right, he groaned as he lied down and began to gag on his own blood that was forced up his throat. "Get this fucking thing out of me... please."
Pillows where under his head and he couldn't help but let out a laugh. Leave it to Owen to be completely considerate to someone. He felt bad for bringing this all on the werewolf but the werewolf could touch wood, Keegan could not without it hurting like a bitch. "I was hanging... out with some friends..." Again his voice was pain stricken and weak. "Some hunters came and attacked me in front of humans... it didn't make sense. I killed one or two... and took off..." He murmured and then was attacked by Apollo's tongue. Keegan wished he could have pet the dog, but alas he didn't have the strength. "Sorry man, I owe you some love and a nice game of a fetch, alright?" He said to the dog.
Oh god, the three count. How many children were teased about this at the doctor's office? On three they would get a shot and receive a feeling of anticipation was the worst in the world by far. Thankfully Owen was an honest man and pulled the stake out on the three count and oh dear lord you could have seen glass break from the loud yell Keegan let out. Many curses began to slip through his lips as he turned his head and hacked up a good amount of blood before he settled back into the tiles. God, he was still hurting and still dying. "Check the wound for splinters... and that won't work you idiot. I won't get an infection." He mused softly and closes his eyes.
A thought did come to his mind but he was unsure if it would work, he needed to be healed or he would die. Keegan didn't want to die, he was stronger than that. "Blood... I need blood." He said softly and set his green eyes on Owen. He wasn't saying for Owen to give him his blood, actually he was scared to take the blood from the boy. Werewolves and Vampires were not the most friendly of species back in the day, for all he knew Owen blood could kill him faster. But he needed blood, just some so he wouldn't be in so much pain and then his body could fix itself. The vampire gave a wince and slowly sat up, he looked to the fridge and asked softly, "Got any like raw meats? They have blood on them... that might help." But as he stood up, he just went right back down with a hard thud. Oh fuck his life.

The wolf gave the blonde vampire a curious look when he laughed, "What?" Blue eyes locked in on the wound when he ripped out the stake. Thank god it wasn't all that big, or else Owen probably would have just said screw it and called his cousin who was a nurse. Wrinkling his nose, as his enhanced canine senses went on over-drive, he sighed and gave Keegan a look, "I don't know how you guys work." he stuck out his tongue, as he tossed the wooden stake aside. Owen mused, "Come on, Kee. Who's got the upper hand here?" he smirked playfully, as he then sighed, before scanning the wound carefully, noticing a pair of splinters. Pausing, Owen mused, thank god he had gloves on, "I see only two, otherwise you're good." He then went ahead and reached down, one was right on top - thank god, and with his careful fingers, plucked that one out. The other, not so much. Frowning, he looked around and checked in the first-aid kit. Tweezers! Feeling accomplished, the male then lowered them, and plucked out the final splinter, before nodding, setting it down by the other splinter and the stake, "There, all good." Owen set down the tweezers and hesitated when Keegan then asked for something the wolf had been hoping he wouldn't ask for. Blood. He sure wasn't going to be getting it from Apollo. Hell no. Did vampires even like werewolf blood? He doubted it, but either way, he wasn't sure about the steaks or something. He hadn't been shopping for the week yet, he'd actually been planning to do that tomorrow.
Grimacing, Owen mused, "Umm...lemme check." he got up and stepped carefully around Keegan as he headed to his fridge, opening it with his clean hand, and peered inside to the meat drawer. Damn, only some pork, nothing with blood in it. His head sagged. "Wonderful. I hadn't gone shopping yet, Kee. You couldn't have gotten stabbed tomorrow night?" Owen teased, heading back over to him. Blue eyes widened, he knew the vampire would need blood, but how was he supposed to get it? He very well wouldn't leave Keegan here while he ran to a Wal-Mart or something, that closest was about 5 to 7 minutes away in car, 10 on foot. Owen groaned, before looking to Keegan as he placed some guaze on the wound to help it for now, "I'm only seeing one option here." he scowled, not necessarily mad at Kee, but ticked at the whole situation. Sitting down by Keegan on the floor, Owen paused. His mind reeled rapidly. He couldn't find another solution, and no way would he ever let Keegan touch Apollo, plus he doubted the vampire would want to hurt the pup.
A slight cringe later, Owen then sighed and held out his left arm which happened to be closer to Kee, "How much will you need?" He healed fast. Owen would be fine. Plus, blood was blood right? Sure, he heard different species had different tastes and scents, but he wondered if a werewolf's would be worse than any others, due to them being natural enemies. Either way, Kee needed blood, and Owen was the only thing around with any blood, as the steaks were gone, he and Deli had taken them to Aidan's place the other night for a celebratory dinner for Owen's older brother and soon to be sister-in-law. He held out his arm for the vampire, before commenting, "Seriously, Kee. I won't let you touch Apollo, as I doubt you would anyway, and I'm the best thing you got without someone freaking out and calling the cops." Owen urged.

†††††††------- †††††††-------
Good thing he thought about splinters, those little fuckers would have been the end of him if he didn't realize it. With a small content sigh the vampire closed his green eyes for just a moment. He was in so much pain; every little part of him was aching with a pain he thought he got rid of a long time ago. He wasn't supposed to feel like this, he was a vampire. "Our bodies can heal themselves faster when we have blood... we can heal without it but it takes longer..." He said softly and opened his eyes to look at the male. Later on he realized he would have to educate his friend about vampires, it was funny because Keegan knew a lot about werewolves, but not the other way around? Damn.
"Oh you know next time I plan to visit you with a stake in my stomach I'll remember to call and ask if it's a proper time for you." He growled playfully and then proceeded to hack up a large amount of his own blood. He didn't want to admit it to his friend or himself but he was dying. The vampire was slowly finding darkness embodied everything that was around him, he didn't want to dive into it but he felt like he had no other choice at this point. He just shook his head, about ready to give up because of the pain; however Owen seemed to have an idea. He said offered his left arm and slowly but surely Keegan sat himself up and listened to him talk. He frowned but he didn't bother to speak.
Keegan hated biting from the wrist, it was just weird to him and also hands were dirty. He quickly grabbed the werewolf and brought him close to his body, like he was going to do a romantic kiss on him or something, but instead his lips gently grazed the werewolve's jaw and he parted his lips and gently sank his fangs into the male's neck, a little moan passing the vampires lips as his blood began to pump into him. He had been told by everyone that vampires bites were addicting, even more so then coke. The venom in his fangs brought just a second of pain while afterward a wave of pleasure (that was better than sex he was told) came over one of his victims. If another vampire bit him he didn't think it would have the same reaction, but hell he was willing to try.
Owen's blood to the vampire's surprised tasted really good. He didn't taste like a human of course, his blood was thicker meaning it was "polluted" in a way because he was a werewolf. Lucas's blood felt the same over his tongue because he was a demon. It might just be a supernatural thing, Keegan didn't know. He held tight to the werewolf has he took a small bit at a time, not enough to actually start healing the wound but enough for the pain to slowly flicker away. Owen's blood tasted smoky, with a nice spicy edge to it. It had just a hint of sweetness that Keegan thought was cinnamon but over all it was a very nice and yummy flavor. After a moment he pulled away and fell back to the floor, his glowing green eyes looked at the werewolf. "I didn't take enough for you to feel side affects, I just took enough to get rid of the pain... wrap my wound... it's going to have to heal on its own." The vampire murmured softly and sighed a bit, he wouldn't take the amount he needed for the wound to heal. Not from Owen anyway.

Oh haha, Owen thought quietly in his head towards the snarky vampire. Fine, he thought. Two could play at that game, "Yes, I'd appreciate a call. Now c'mon, Kee, who's got the more blood here? Me." he spoke gently, placing some medical tape over the wound to help keep the bleeding from killing the vampire. "I've always found it weird, if I hit you with a pan, it wouldn't hurt you a bit, yet wood can hurt you. Vampires." Owen teased lightly, as Apollo nudged Keegan, whining as he then lied down by the blonde vampire's side. Hovering there, Owen felt his old awkwardness settle in, especially with his arm - hanging over the face of a blood-thirsty vampire. In all honesty he wasn't sure how he felt about this, plus - would the bite remain there? His hair wasn't long enough to where he'd be able to cover it, not without either letting his werewolf healing cover it up mostly, then work on it for awhile - mainly because he'd never been bitten before. For obvious reasons. The wolf tensed when Kee suddenly grabbed him, though he reluctantly followed, before a shiver bolted down his spine when they got dangerously close. He'd never told Keegan, and he hadn't ever really brought it up with Deli, that he'd been bisexual for quite awhile, going both boys and girls. He couldn't stop himself mainly because he just...liked it. Though when Lacy and all that, Owen had changed, and besides, Deli was the only one for him. He knew that with his entire soul, every fiber of his being. Keegan being so close, brought it back, especially when his lips brushed his jaw, then the sudden pain, shock of the lethal fangs of the vampire sinking into his skin. It was the worst pain he'd ever felt, and blue eyes closed, as if to wish away the horrid pain that was ebbing its way down and through his system.
How much would Keegan need? Owen prayed it wouldn't be that much, as his every instinct was telling him to slaughter this blood-sucker for taking his blood especially. Though he was a good friend, who just happened to be a vampire and who happened to need blood at this time. Suddenly, sweet relief, sweet pleasure rolled through him, causing Owen's eyes to open wide in surprise. What the hell? He remained silent, feeling his blood vanish, it was such a strange feeling, as he became painfully aware of the pleasure from the vampire's bite, overwhelming the horrible pain of the vampire actually biting a werewolf. Owen bit his bottom lip before he was released, having been pretty much held there by the vampire while he fell back, shaking it off slightly. Great, now when Deli got home, he'd smell like vampire. Wonderful. Wrinkling his nose slightly, he placed a hand over his neck, feeling the sticky warmth of his own blood. Pausing, Owen nodded quietly at the vampire's explanation, already feeling...jittery. Shaking off the feelings, he carefully finished bandaging up Keegan's wound, and Apollo's tail soon whacked Keegan's arm from excitement. "Yeah sure...." he was still recovering. Standing up shakily, he mused, "You gonna stay down there or what? I'd imagine it can't be that comfortable." Owen then offered Keegan a hand while he figured his blood helped the vampire out. Strapping his own piece of gauze onto his neck, he mused, "I wonder...do you know how long it takes other supernaturals to heal?"

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] of fangs and fur The Words: 587 The Outfit: here The Notes finally! The vampire growled softly at the werewolf and flashed him his fangs, huffing softly at the comment about being hit with a pan and not taking any damage but then again getting poked by a twig and all hell going lose. "Don't make fun of me, mister silver. We all have your issues." He huffed softly and reached over to pet the dog that seemed to be concerned for him. Why he had no idea, normally animals didn't like vampires. Some, not all animals were scared of them; he figured it was because Owen was a werewolf. That and because Keegan crashed here a lot without Owen knowing, or maybe he did know. The vampire really didn't care. In the back of the male's mind, he had a sudden and strong urge to start kissing on the werewolf. Damn Lucas. The demon was really the only person Keegan fed from, and after he fed it led to sex.
Keegan slowly, with the help of the werewolf was able to get up. He gripped the counter and sighed softly, before slowly making it to the werewolf's bedroom and hunting for a new shirt. He was so grateful that the werewolf and he were the same size, soon he found a nice clean grey shirt and he came back out and lied on the couch, with a small grunt. If he had too he would wash the shirt later so it didn't smell like vampire, but he didn't think Deli would mind all that much. The vampire closed his forest green eyes as Apollo seemed to fallow him to the couch, his wet nose pushing on his hand like he wanted to be stroked. The vampire happily did so and he let out a tired sigh. Oh, what a day. All he wanted to do was to sleep off his wound but knew he wouldn’t be able to for a bit.
Owen spoke to him again, this time about other supernaturals. Keegan really didn’t really know the answer but he could give the best guess. “Depends on the species, vampires… we can heal on our own easily but a stake… we need some blood to help us out.” He laughed softly and looked at the other boy. He wasn’t sure if werewolves were the same, but maybe it took longer? If that was the case the other male felt a little bit bad for the werewolf. It would be a bitch to have to walk around with two holes in your neck for a little while. Ah, thems the breaks. He thought about his question and wanted to at least try to answer with some sort of knowledge.
“Lucas can heal pretty fast, but if the supernatural is human like, say witches and firetamers and stuff, they heal like normal humans would. Unless the witch makes a healing potion, but that’s cheating.” He snickered and shifted a little bit, closing his green eyes as he thought about how shit his day had been. Also, his mind drifted to his demon. Yes, Lucas was his demon. There was no sense in arguing it to him, the vampire claimed him. The vampire looked at the werewolf and shrugged a little bit, hoping he liked what he said. “So um… will Deli be joining us tonight? Because I swear if I hear you two going at it, I’m going to join in.” You could always count on Keegan to say such things, and normally they were 100% true.
