This lone guardian angel found himself in front of Beth's house once more. He did swear to himself that this wasn't going to be the last time she was going to see him. And he was a man of his word. He awkwardly stood in front, one hand stuffed in his pocket and he was holding other mushy gushy items here in his arms. It was sad, looking at their situation laid out right here. Here, Nathaniel was acting like one of those guys who were head over heels for some girl who didn't even want him. He kept trying and trying over and over again. He was driven and quite determined to get to know the girl. Even if it meant he had to make a big fool out of himself. It was his only way to get close with the girl who was antisocial and closed off from the world. It was obvious that she didn't even want a friend. Yes. He held a certain attraction towards her. He had to be blind to not notice how gorgeous the cold, ruthless hunter was. She was beautiful and she didn't even know it. And Beth, on the other hand, thought he was just another pretty boy with his head in the clouds and wanted to get her straight into bed. She wasn't interested in him. She believed he only wanted her for her body and all the kind of bull crap. Oh how wrong she was. IfNate went straight to bed with a human, that would not be good. That would end up having him be a fallen angel and he wings would be clipped, which meant he couldn't watch over Beth anymore. And somewhere, deep inside his emotions, it hurt thinking about it. He didn't want to risk losing her.
Beth was a unique girl that was able to provide some kind of entertainment that kept Nate determined to be her guardian angel, to protect her from all the harm in the world. She was unaware or it, instead, she was crazed with revenge, seeking some kind of redemption for her 'dead' siblings, whom weren't even dead in the end! They were alive and well, now part of the supernatural species. Delilah was somewhere...being a werewolf. That's what Hayden told him anyways and Hayden was a guardian angel and his best friend. And Nate knew it too, but he wasn't going to tell the girl. He didn't plan on revealing that her siblings were alive. She wasn't going to take it well, he guessed. He wasn't even going to tell Beth what he truly was! If he did, the consequences would be ugly and not too pleasing. Beth would try to kill him, only to find out in the end she couldn't. Then that would drive her up against the wall and off the edge, feeling like she was failure for not being able to slaughter one supernatural guy. It would drive her insane and that's not what he wanted to do.
He stood in front of her door, looked pretty presentable. Well he always did. He always just made himself look okay for the day; just so he didn't look to dressy or too trashed looking. Nate just did it enough so he looked good. His face was cleanly shaven and his hair was done in his usual do; messy yet it didn't look like he tried to hard or put too much effort.. He wore a classic gray dress shirt and a pair of casual jeans and a pair of black sneakers, similar to what he wore on the first day he met Beth. He looked as great as he did any day. In his arms, he held a gorgeous bouquet of flowers; assorted with light pink and hot pink lilies, red roses and purple gladiolus's, and a box of delicious chocolate. That was what girls usually liked...right? He was a clueless man when it came it what girls wanted. He was going to try to 'woo' Beth with some gifts and his natural charisma.
Nate actually felt bad for 'breaking' into her house the other day. He came to apologize and maybe get to know her better. And so far, all the had in the apology was 'hi. sorry for breaking into your house. forgive me?'. Ah. Good lord. He sucked! That was a failure of an apology. He was screwed. She already hated him and she was going to hate him even more if he offered some kind of fail of an apology. Whatever. Get that thought out of your head. Think positivity. Mentally, the trashed that speech, Nate was going to make a new one up. He was just going to wing or go with the flow or improvise right off the top of his head when she answered her door. He took a deep breath and raised his hand to knock on the door. Knock. Knock. Knock. His heart pounded against his chest, quickly. He crossed his fingers and hoped that Beth was home or even better, answer the door. Silently and patiently, he waited. He wasn't sure how this was going to turn out.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #000000, width: 300px; height: 300px;] suppose I kept on singing love songs just to break my own fall Beth woke up on the sunny day and sighed. Sitting up she looked around the bleak, colorless house. Planting a bare foot on the hard wood floor she swung the other leg around and planted her foot down as well. Standing up she shifted her heavy gray sweatpants and white tank top, which had moved up and around as she had slept. Taking a deep breath she stretched out her lean, long arms. Blinking her big, blue eyes she scratched her hair that was pulled up into a loose bun to keep her light brown hair from tangling during the nighttime while she slept. Hooking her finger into the black elastic band she slid the black elastic band from her light brown hair. Her long, wavy hair cascaded down her back and tickled her bare skin that was exposed from her white tank top that she had worn during the night. Walking to her closet she opened it up and looked at her monotone clothing. She didn’t have much color in her wardrobe, mostly only black, white, and gray. Beth just didn’t feel like wearing colors anymore. It just didn’t match her life anymore. She just didn’t have any color in her life anymore so why should she wear it? Made sense to her.
Grabbing gray skinny jeans and a white tee shirt she stripped down and slid her pants up her legs. Then she slipped her white tee shirt over her head and shifted it so it fit like it was supposed to. Exhaling Beth walked fluidly to the bathroom and planted her hands on the white sink. Leaning in she looked at her face and turned it slightly to look at the different angles. Exhaling again she took her face wash out and set it on the counter. Turning on the warm water she splashed her face and then rubbed her face wash into her face. Rinsing it off she pat dried her face with a fluffy white towel. Grabbing her deodorant she applied it and then grabbed her toothbrush. Putting minty toothpaste on it she began to brush her teeth. Cupping her hands she gathered water from the faucet and then spit out the toothpaste making sure not to get it into the water. Putting the water in her mouth she swished it back and forth then spit that out too. Grabbing her brush she struggled to tame her brunette waves, but finally did so. Pulling it up into a high ponytail she looked into the mirror and nodded.
Beth heard a knock at the door and arched an eyebrow. Walking to her door she swung it open and saw the one person she didn’t want to see. Beth looked at the pretty boy that had broken into her house a couple days ago. She looked at him with his chocolates and flowers. Did he really think that was going to work? Did that she was just going to forgive her if he gave her some chocolates and flowers. She didn’t even like flowers. Sighing she slammed the door in his face and walked to her black couch. Plopping down on the couch she spread her legs out on the soft fabric. Leaning back on the arm of the couch she wondered what pretty boy would do. Would he knock or would he just break in again. She wouldn’t be surprised if he broke in. He had done it once, he could do it again.

Maybe she wouldn't even answer the door if he was here. Maybe she wasn't home. What was going to happen if she answered the door and noticed it was him? When he heard the doorknob turn and the wooden door creak open, a small smile appeared on his face. Then Beth fully opened the door, glanced towards him, sighed, just taking a small glance over him. She remained unmoved by the flowers. There was no change in her facial reaction. "Look I'm sor-" and then she slammed the door in his face, cutting his words off. What? He was just about to offer her the flowers and chocolates, but he didn't because she shut the door in his face. He didn't see her pretty face all he saw was...wood! Wood! What the hell? This was ridiculous! He just had a door slammed in his face! This was an unusually change of events. This wasn't how it was supposed to go in his head. In his head, he gave her the presents and she forgave him. But this was not how it was going. It was going the total opposite way.
"Open the door please!" He said, knocking on the door. "Please" His voice was muffled by the wooden door so he wasn't even sure if he had heard her or not. Good lord. He was desperate and running out of stupid ideas. This girl was so hard to please or even satisfy. It was so difficult to 'woo' Beth. Any normal girl out there would have been ecstatic to see such a pretty boy like Nate Ahriman standing at their front door with gifts or even asking them out on some kind of date. But no, Beth wasn't normal. She was different from others. His simple knocks on the door then turned into pounding, where he was slamming his fist on the door, causing a loud ruckus. Even a couple people who passed by glanced at him, looking at him strangely and some even, shook their heads at him. Nathaniel knew how this looked like. This looked like he was a desperate boyfriend trying to get back or charm his way back to please an angry girlfriend.
The angel clutched the handle of the door and twisted it to see if it was locked. The last time, she left the front door wide open so he invited himself in. Technically, he didn't break in. The door was open. She said it was a break in but he just simple waltzed inside. The knob twisted easily and he invited himself in once more. If she wasn't going to let him in, the he was going to break in either way. The door being unlocked make the whole thing easier. No pick locking or busting down the door. Beth probably expected him to 'break into her house' again. He had done it once, so why can't he do it again? But this time, he didn't break in. The door was unlocked. Was that even considered a break in anymore?
When he entered the house, the male glanced around, examining the place once more. He couple really get over how melancholy this place looked. It lacked color. The house looked the same when he last came here, there were a couple new marks on the wall but it was nothing significant. He set down the bouquet of flowers and chocolate on a nearby table. Nate made his way towards the female and stood in front of her. "Look, can we please talk?" He pleaded, standing right in front of her. He was not going to give up on her. He was her guardian angel and his duty was to protect and watch over her. Instead of doing that while he was invisible, he decided to do his duty in person. He wanted to get to know her and comfort her, make her feel like she was cared for and safe. But she was so stubborn and headstrong. It was irritating. She was going to gun him down every single time and he was just going to keep coming over and over again, up until it annoyed the shit out of her. A normal player or pretty boy would have left her alone by now and went to go hook up with another girl; easier prey. But Nate was concentrating on this one girl; Beth.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #000000, width: 300px; height: 300px;] suppose I kept on singing love songs just to break my own fall Beth couldn’t believe that the pretty boy returned. God, he was persistent. Definitely not a regular pretty boy, but then again maybe he was one of those pretty boys that found at girl that he would hunt until he got them, but still slept around with other girls in the mean time. Yes, that was him. She knew it. This boy was so transparent. His intentions were so clear. Beth didn’t have tolerance for people like him. They weren’t worth any of her time and she didn’t need him in her life. Why wouldn’t he just fricking get out of her life!? She was tired of him and always being around. It was like he was…following her. Ew…just ew. That’d be just creepy, but lately it seemed like he was doing just that. Oh God…that was so creepy. How could she get rid of him? Kill him? No…too messy and that could get Beth in jail. Ignore him? Yeah…she could do that. That was easy. Well easy enough that is. Maybe if Beth ignored this pretty boy enough he’d just leave after awhile. Oh who was she kidding?! He wasn’t going to leave if she ignored him. He’d probably just think she was playing hard to get. Such a stupid boy. God, she hated him.
“Open the door please! Please!” Nate said his voice muffled by the wood of her door. Sighing she yelled, “No! Leave me alone!” Rolling her eyes she went to the counter and grabbed her black iPod. Shoving the black earplugs into her ears she turned on her music so she wouldn’t be able to hear his excessive knocking on her door. Great, he was going to draw a crowd or at least some weird looks. Great, just what Beth needed, having a pretty boy at her door with flowers and chocolate knocking like a boyfriend trying to make up with a furious girlfriend. She really didn’t need her neighbors thinking that she was having boyfriend problems. It wasn’t even like she was. She had only had…one boyfriend? Yeah…one was right. She had had this one boyfriend for two years of high school. It was serious, but they had never gone all the way. No, the little shy Beth would never do such a thing. Was Beth a virgin? No. No she was not. She had done it more than once with a hunter named Westley. They were never really a couple. More like distractions for each other. They both shared similar pasts. His brother was killed by a werewolf and her siblings were killed by a werewolf. Or at least Delilah wasn’t as she had recently learned. Delilah had come to find Beth and Beth was informed about her sister’s change. Delilah was now a werewolf. What a lovely surprise! Beth didn’t know if Delilah was still alive though. Last time they talked Beth had shot her in the stomach and didn’t stay around to see what happened after that. Beth didn’t care. That mutt was no longer her sister. She hoped that Delilah had died. One less werewolf to kill innocent humans. Beth blocked out pretty boy and let herself get into her music. She was so into it she didn’t even realize that pretty boy had broken into her house…again. What a creep! Beth didn’t notice that pretty boy that came in until he stood in front of her on the couch and said, “Look, can we please talk?” Beth slowly took out her earplugs wanting to believe that this wasn’t true. Looking up just as slow she saw pretty boy and face palmed herself. Groaning she stood up and began pushing him toward the door saying, “ No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!” Beth was stronger than she looked so it wasn’t too hard to push him out of her house. After he was completely out she slammed the door in his face once again and locked the door so he wouldn’t get in again. Sighing she rested against the door fed up with him when, out of the corner of her eye, she saw his chocolates and flowers in her house. She did a low growl and grabbed them roughly. She didn’t want anything of his stuff in her house! Unlocking her door she opened it quickly and saw that pretty boy was still there. Throwing the flowers and chocolates at his face she closed the door and locked it again. Walking to her couch she laid on it and groaned angry. Why did this always happened to her?

Beth probably thought he was a stalker. Oh my. Oh no! She was probably creeped out about how he keeps coming into her house or something. Or how he kept making desperate attempts to get her attention. She probably thought he was following her. As if! Well, maybe. It was part of the job description to be an guardian angel -- well not really. But it was mentally drilled into his head to protect their humans at all costs and keep a close eye on them. That's what he was doing..except he wasn't invisible. He wanted to get to know her like a little boy who had a crush on a girl. He kept bothering her and wanting to get her attention. Beth was so complicated! How was he even going to watch over her like a good guardian angel should if she didn't even accept him as a person? He was slowly growing frustrated with her. He was slowly being pushed over the edge right before exploding.
Nate stood in front of Beth, watching the female slowly peel off her earplugs from her ears and glare at him with those piercing blue eyes. She ran her palm into her face in frustration at him and a low groaning sound came from her throat. Oh shit..that wasn't a very good reaction. She obviously did not want to see him. She hated him! How did he know this was going to happen? This wasn't the way it was supposed to go. This was not how he planned it out in his head. Then again, this whole thing was not going as he planned. The female began shouting one word and one word only 'no'. As she was shouting that one word, the female was pushing him backwards. He couldn't feel her hands on him, shoving him backwards with her mighty strength, all he felt was his body moving, about to stumble over and he was right outside again..back where he had started. What progress he had made. Then the sound of the door slamming rung in his ears and again, he saw wood in his face. He had made zero progress. What a failure.
He stared at the ground for the moment, trying to figure out some marvelous plan to win her heart. His head jerked up immediatly when he heard the door creak open once more. He felt hope fill up in him as he seen Beth once more, but only to be crushed down once more. Instead of giving him some kind of gratitude, the female threw the chocolates and flowers at him. He caught it in his hands awkwardly. He dropped the items on to the ground, so it laid in a crumpled heap. Well that wasn't going to work as he thought it would. Nope. It wasn't. He mentally made a note in his mind that human females, well girls like Beth, didn't like the cheesy flowers and candy. Never doing that again.
Once more, he raised his hand, balled it up into a fist and began slamming it against the door once more. "Beth! Beth!" He shouted, calling out her name. He stopped for a moment, realizing he had just called out her name, without her ever introducing herself. Before he left last time, he told Beth his name was Nate, before she shoved him out the door. But she never told this pretty boy what her name was. How could she ignore that fact that he knew her name? She was going to be curious on how he found out what her name was. How was he going to cover up the fact that he knew her name? What was his excuse going to be? Instead, he ignored the little voice and the head decided to continue slamming his hand on the door, trying to get her attention. "Open the door." He cried out once more. Again, people glanced at him, giving him strange looks. This time, his poundings on the door and his voice was not going to get Beth to open the door. He was going to have to make some kind of bold move. "Please go on a date with me!" He finally blurted out.
If Beth wasn't going to accept his offer them he was forever going to be out of her life. He was going to be gone. He was just going to have to tell Hayden he couldn't deal with Beth. That he was going to need a new charge. Then that would be also admitting defeat, which was something he did not want to do. He was not going to go down so easily. He wasn't a quitter, but this was driving him right over the edge. Why was he so determined and driven to get to know Beth? Was he seriously falling head over heels for her or was this all part of his disguise? He couldn't feel anymore; emotions or the touch of another. He couldn't feel anymore. But there was this feeling that rose up with him around Beth..and he actually like the way to rushed throughout his body. And every single time she rejected him, he felt sadness? He was unsure. But All Nate knew was that he wanted to be with her. No! That was wrong, against the rules that angels followed and they were never to fall in love with a human. He just couldn't. He wasn't going to risk it, but after Hayden's pleading, he couldn't turn down a request like that. He was having a mental battle..with himself.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #000000, width: 300px; height: 300px;] suppose I kept on singing love songs just to break my own fall
“Beth! Beth!” He shouted and slammed his hands on the door. At him calling her name her eyes widened in surprise and horror. How did he know her name!? Oh my God! He was stalking her! She was sure that she had never said her name that him. She would have remembered because he would have used that to compliment her. All the pretty boys did that. It was just another one of their stupid moves that they all used. Beth had heard it all. Quite irritating actually. But actually she was more scared than irritated now. He knew her name and she had never told him it. Who would have told him? No one. He was stalking her. He was seriously stalking her. Holy crap! That was so creepy. Sitting straight up she gripped the couch afraid and looked at the door. “H-how do you know my name!” She yelled completely scared. “Are you stalking me?” She asked afraid of the answer that she’d get.
“Open the door.” He yelled and she couldn’t believe that he was actually asking that. He wanted to come in? He was stalking her! She wasn’t going to let him in! She wasn’t stupid! Who did he think he was? Coming to her house! Bringing gifts! Pounding on her door! Yelling at her! Breaking in! Stalking her! He was a piece of work. And pretty stupid too. He seriously thought she was going to let him in after she found out her was a stalker! Idiot pretty boy stalker guy. “ No! You’re a stalker! You’re not coming into my house! You’ll try and steal my panties or rape me or whatever!” She screamed. Running a hand through her hair she bit her lip hard and fiddled with a loose thread on the couch. Please go away, please go away, please go away, please go away, please go away, PLEASE GO AWAY! She thought rocked back and forth on her couch. She had never dealt with a stalker and it scared her. It scared her a lot. It made her want to run and hide under her bed. Stalkers were dangerous, more dangerous than her. They were crazy and obsessive. Not something she wanted to be around. Then again she never wanted to be around him. He was an annoyance and crazy and weird. He freaked her out and he just wanted to get in her pants. He was a crazy, pretty boy stalker. Why? Why did God send her him? Was this to test her? Was he her test? If she passed this test was she going to get into heaven? Oh well this was a cruel test. A cruel, cruel test from God. Oh how God loved to toy with her. First he killed off her siblings well Hayden that is. Then cursed her sister with being a mutt. Now he gave her pretty boy. He really did love Beth didn’t he?
“Please go on a date with me!” he screamed his voice slightly muffled by her wooden door. Her thoughts stopped. Her heart skipped a beat. Her breathe caught in her throat. Her eyes widened. And she couldn’t move. She began to breathe again and she blinked. Had he really just asked that? Really? She couldn’t believe it. Was this reality? Was he really asking that? Slowly getting up she moved toward the door cautiously and right behind her finger tips brushed the metal lock she stopped. Do I really want to open this door? Maybe I shouldn’t…but maybe I heard him wrong. Had he asked asked her out again? Why? Ugh he was so difficult! She thought. Sighing she unlocked the door and opened the door. “What did you just say…did you just ask me out of a date….again…?” She asked gripping the door hard.

The moment he heard Beth's voice through the door, the male stopped for a moment. Did she seriously ask him if he was stalking her?! No. He wasn't. He swore he wasn't. He wasn't stalking the girl. He just knew who she was, but he did know who he was...okay..maybe that sounded a tad bit stalkerish. Ah. Never mind that. But he knew Beth because of Hayden, who was now a guardian angel. Hayden gave him information about Beth. It was his job to watch over her and check in on her like a good friend. The pretty boy shook his head and shouted. "No. I'm not. I promise." He crossed his fingers and hoped that Beth would change her mind about him. He didn't want his charge to think of him as some kind of creepy guy, like in those lame, horror and suspense movies directors made.
Then her next words had gotten his appalled, shocked even. He felt his mouth pop open and his jaw drop. It like he had taken a physical hit to the face or the gut. She refused to open the door...because she believed he was going to rape her! Rape her! Oh. Good. Lord. Hell no. He would never do that to a girl. Never. Ever. He would never stoop that low. Then she believed that he was going to go into her house and steal her panties. That was...insanely creepy actually.. He never understood why some humans did crazy stuff like that; collecting girl's panties, taking crazy photos or collecting strand of their victim's hairs. The guardian angel shuddered at the thought of those psychotic stalker people. Don't think about that now! He never heard of any crazy stories of incidents like that with the supernaturals, but plenty with humans. Even if he roamed the land, trying to fit in with humans and learn about their habits, he could never really understand why some people went all...creepy stalker type....and he was definitely not one of those people.
Suddenly, he heard footsteps coming towards the door from the other side and the door slowly creaked open, as if Beth finally decided to give in. The male flashed the pretty girl a sheepish breath taking smile, like he was a little boy who had won a prize from the carnival. His blue eyes flicked towards her hand, where the poor, scared girl was gripping the door handle, ready to slam the door right in his face. He took a step back to place some distance between them, just so Beth didn't feel uncomfortable or felt like he was violating her personal space. She already thought he was stalking her. When she spoke, her voice was uneasy, hesitant and her tone was shifting. Then he nodded as if to confirm what she had just said. "Yes. I did ask you on a date again." He started. "Just one date and you can ask me anything, I'll answer it." Nate promised, scratching the back of his neck nervously. He knew that the huntress standing right in front of her had many questions for him, such as; why she even knew his name? Why did he want to even go on a date with her? Or why was he even 'stalking' her? He would answer her questions with the truth and maybe some lies to cover up . Now angels lied, for the greater good. It was usually small, white lies, but it was never anything huge. He would lie about his identity, that he was a guardian angel sent by Hayden, her own brother, to protect her. Usually, he was a very honest gentleman who spoke whatever was on his mind. He was just one of those guys who hated lies and being lied to. He wanted the truth. Plain and simple. "So..will you?" He asked, giving the female in front of him a nervous smile and he gave what people called 'puppy eyes' Supposedly, they were irresistible and were able to mesmerize the victim into saying 'yes', but it was just another one of those things people said or did that he didn't really get. And he crossed his fingers that Beth would accept his offer.
Part of him screamed to walk away from this female, drop her as his charge. He could find a new one. Beth was a pain in the ass, stubborn and was jumping to conclusions. She didn't even give him a chance to explain himself or talk. And another told him to just spill the truth and hope for the best. That she wouldn't freak out and try to kill him. It would be the best for her. Maybe not. But the one he was listening to was none of the above. He was simply breaking all those rules and taking a risk with her. All -- well most angels -- wanted to do something that would benefit the greater good. He did that but he also protected humans as a sign to himself that he was not fully evil. Nathaniel wondered if this was going to be that little temptation that would make him fall from grace. The little push and he would over the edge. And one slip, he could be falling head over heels for Beth, which may cost him his wings in the end. Damn. He was taking a huge risk with this gorgeous huntress. A huge risk. And he hoped it was worth it.

“No. I’m not. I promise.” Pretty boy said and Beth rolled her eyes. Sure he wasn’t. It wasn’t like him just randomly knew her name. That totally made sense. Yeah of course! Oh don’t worry Beth totally got it. It definitely wasn’t because he was stalking her and then denying it. No, he just happened to hear her name somewhere. Oh or maybe Hayden had told him. Ha! What a joke! Well at least he didn’t know about her family. That’d be terrible. He’d be all creepy and try to comfort her with hugs. Yuck! Just the idea sent shiver down her spine of utter disgust. Oh God. The image of him hugging her so very…disturbing and unsettling. Ha! Like that’d ever happened. She would never let him hug her or let him try to cuddle with her. That would be…horrifying. Completely and utterly horrible. Beth wasn’t the biggest fan of being touched by guys like him. They gave her the creeps sometimes. Ugh just the thought of him touching her freaked her out a bit especially because he was stalking her like a creep. She didn’t even want to know what crazy messed up dreams and or thoughts he had about her or them together. Oh great now she had those mental images in her head for the rest of the day. Wonderful. Just what she needed. Beth just totally needed images of them together in her head. Ugh. Terrible. But those images were nothing compared to the image of the dead Hayden. The image of his bloody body mangled by the werewolf’s fatal blows. His poor body was ripped apart and poor Delilah wasn’t far behind. She had received terrible bites and scrapes, but Beth wasn’t worried about her anymore. Beth already knew that she was alive and quite healthy. Beth couldn’t even see her scars anymore, but Beth still donned the small scar on her cheek that she had gotten from the little mutt that had attacked her. Damn monster ruined her life and made her who she was, but who she was now was a lot better than the little shy Beth that she was before the attack. That wasn’t too fun actually. Beth was always so nervous and vulnerable. She definitely wasn’t nervous and vulnerable anymore. Now she was strong and determined and confident. She had only hunting to live for so what did it matter anymore. She had nothing to lose. She was alone. No boyfriends and barely any friends that weren’t hunters. Lately pretty boy was the only person in the life, which really sucked. Just showed her how much she had to live for. It made her feel like her life had gotten worse if he was a prominent part in her life now. Wow…she really did need to get rid of him before he became the biggest thing in her life. Oh that’d be terrible. Yeah she had to get rid of him quick. “You’re lying, creepy pretty boy!” She yelled angrily. She knew was stalking her, she just did.
As Beth opened the door again she saw pretty boy’s face and he looked ecstatic. He probably hadn’t expected for Beth to come out. Seeing his face she was tempted to close the door again, but refrained from doing so. She might as well hear his explanation. “Yes, I did ask you on a date again.” He said and she rubbed her plump lips together. What was she suppose to say in return to that? Licking her bottom lip she looked into his icy blue eyes with almost identical icy blue eyes that belonged to her. “Well okay then.” She said awkwardly not knowing what in the world to say. “Just one date and you can ask me anything. I’ll answer it.” He offered and she bit her lip hard. Answer…anything? That could work for her advantage. Yeah, that definitely could. She could ask anything that she ever really wanted to know. She could ask why he was so interested in her or how he knew her name. The possibilities were endless. Even though she couldn’t stand the idea of being around him for more than a minute she’d have to accept the offer. It was too good to let up. Maybe after one date he’d leave her alone because he had accomplished something. She was going to do it. Yes, she was going to do it. “So…will you?” He asked giving her the puppy dog look that only made her annoyed. Was he trying to be cute? Wow, he really wasn’t helping his case by trying that. With a gentle sigh she said, “ Fine, I’ll go.”

Instead, they annoyed her, getting on her nerves. The flowers. The gifts. The attention he gave her. They worked for other girls. Damn. Usually females were already swept off their feet with his strikingly good looks and his natural charisma. But it didn't work for this girl. It irked him, frustrated him, yet it was giving him so much more determination. Gave him so much determination to work to please her. She was quite a feisty little thing. Quite stubborn and headstrong, not able to be wavered by others. The gorgeous brunette stood in front of him, still standing there in her house, frozen. She kept a very calm demeanor. But Nate could already guess that there was thought raging in her mind, crying out in fear or something along those lines. Part of her wanted him dead, and the other part was scared of him because she believed he was a stalker, stalking her. He could see that she was having a mental battle with herself, choosing whether or not to go on a date with him. But his offer, to answer any question she asked, bought her. It was quite an advantage to take. She would use it to her benefit and get to know him. It was was a 'win' situation on her side. Then, it was like something had answered his pleas and begging, Beth agreed to go on a date with him. His eyes widened a little bit as in shock but then the corner of his lips pulled back slightly to form a crooked grin.He could barely contain the excitement that was bubbling up inside of him. "Great. I'll see you at seven." He said. Nate had already finished part one; asking the girl out on the date, but there was several other parts, like getting to know the girl, gaining her trust and getting comfy with her -- not in bed. He was just going to seize his opportunity and grab it by the reins, making sure he had control over it, Make sure it was going the way he wanted it to go, unlike the other occasions where it had spun out of control and didn't go the way he planned. Those were just pre- stages, but this was going to be the real thing. He didn't want anything to go wrong or to horrible screw up something like this. This was do or die -- well, he can't die. But if he messed up something like this, there was nothing left for him to do. He was just going to have to give up on Beth. -------------------------- As a few hours passed, Nate could barely contain his excitement. It was time. When she confirmed to go on a date with him, he had left Beth's house and immediately hit the library. He would give her time to be alone, so she could doll up and play dress up. While she was doing that, the pretty boy was flipping through magazine and books to find out the perfect date idea to 'woo' the girl and win her over. There was many ideas, some fancy restaurant, the exciting carnivals, the museum, the movies. The ideas were endless but there was one idea he wanted to do that he found in some romantic mushy gushy book. It seemed to have won all the fictional characters and even some other girls. He even went around the library asking other girls if they would like an idea like that. Of course, the girls giggled, thinking that he was going to ask them out on a date, confirmed that they liked the idea. But he wasn't taking those girls on a date, He was taking Beth. So he decided to borrow the idea, but surely, it has been used many times. But never with a spice of 'Nate twist'. The male pulled up his car, the 2010 audi tt, to front door of Beth's house. It was the seconds time he was here today. Adjusting his jacket over his black pinstriped, button-down shirt, the male slid eloquently out of his door and into the world. Locking his door, he then pocketed his keys He decided to ditch the flowers and the cheesy gifts since before, he found out Beth wasn't into that kind of stuff.. The flowers and chocolate might as well be still laying in a heap on her front steps. He wouldn't be surprised either. Beth made it pretty obvious she wasn't into those kind of gifts. But was she into romantic dates? Eh. Most girls did. But Beth wasn't like most girls. He was just going to have to take a shot at it and see if it worked. He had this whole romantic date thing planned out in his head. He crossed his fingers and hoped that Beth would like something like this. Better yet, he hoped that Beth would accept him in the end. Honestly and sincerely, Nate wanted Beth to know that he cared about her and that she had someone to talk to. She needed it, Under that cold, vicious exterior was a broken down girl who needed some love. As cheesy as it sounded, it was true. He was experienced it with his own two eyes The first day he met Beth and 'broke' into her house. The pretty boy had met the girl at the pet sore. She had seemed so strong and so feisty. Honestly, he was attracted to her. But as he made his way to her house and entered it, he seem the girl break down, begging for forgiveness for her siblings. She was lonely. She was hurt. Thinking about that event, Nate felt a small pang of pity and hurt. He made his way to Beth's house and knocked on the wooden door, The door which he slammed his fists on before repeatedly. Then he waited patiently for the door to open, waiting for Beth. Like before, Nate awkwardly stood in font of her door. Normally, he is a very patient person, able to wait for long periods of time. But now, he could barely contain his excitement, couldn't wait for what's to come. He swore he could feel his finger twitch and his beating heart pound quickly. The pretty boy soon seen the door open. "Hello, Beth." He said formally, offering her his hand like a gentleman with manners. "You ready to go?" He asked, flashing her a charming smile, minus the puppy eyes. This guardian angel was quite the charming, romantic, old fashioned male. I mean, he is a little over a hundred and twenty years old. |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #000000, width: 300px; height: 300px;] suppose I kept on singing love songs just to break my own fall
“Great. I’ll see you at seven.” Nate said his face happy and bright. That worried Beth. Was he too happy for this date? Oh God help her! This boy was going to drive her crazy sooner or later. She could only imagine what he wanted to do on the date. Yeah…she was bringing her switch blade….and pepper spray….and a gun. Hey, she’d rather be safe than sorry. She never knew what was going to happen to her and have happen to her on this date. She barely knew this guy. He was really just some pretty boy that had a bit of an obsession with her that had a thing for breaking into her house. He had already done it twice and he would most definitely do it again. She wondered if she’d just have to change the locks to try and stop him, but she wasn’t sure if that’d work. If he did it too much, she’d just give him a key and accept that he was going to keep doing it. Giving him a key was much easier than changing the locks a million times. Probably cost less money too. But she’d only give him the key if she brought in like ten more times of course. Giving him the key now would only be like egging him on to break into her house more and she didn’t exactly like the surprise visits. She could only imagine the awkward things that could happen if he broke in again. The most awkward would be her getting out of the shower with only a towel on. Beth didn’t know what she’d do if that happened. Probably scream and run for her gun. The only times Beth didn’t have her gun was when she slept and in the shower. Other than that it was strapped to her leg or in her purse. Beth had it with her because she never wanted to be caught without it. It was for protection and killing. You’d be surprised how many times Beth was caught off guard when a supernatural came, but then had her gun and killed the freaks of nature. Ugh. Supernaturals made her sick. They were gross and terrible and monsters. She didn’t like them one bit. They killed her brother and turned her sister into one of them. Disgusting. Why they had to share the earth with them was a mystery to her. Beth then blinked returning herself to reality instead of her thoughts. She realized she had replied to Nate so she nodded and said in an awkward manner, “Okay.” With that she went back into her house and closed the door. Leaning her forehead against the door she moaned, “ What have I done?”
- - - - - - - - - - - - -
For most of the day Beth had just trained and worked out. Beth was strong and a toned body, but it didn’t really show. Only when she flexed. She had to stay in shape though. She had to be in shape if she wanted to kill supernaturals and stay as good as she already was. She couldn’t get worse, no, only get better. She had to get better. She had to kill more supernaturals and avenge Hayden. He was gone now and it was their fault. It was their entire fault! They killed Hayden and almost killed Delilah. They should have killed Delilah. Better than turning her into a freak of nature as well. But that didn’t matter now because she had to prepare herself for her date. As much as she didn’t want to go on it she had to. She promised Pretty Boy even though she didn’t know why she did. Oh yeah, it was so she could ask any question and he’d answer it. She had a lot of questions so one date couldn’t be too horrible could it? I mean it was only a date and if she could she’d ignore him as much as she could. All she had to do was just nod in the right places and if he made a move she’d either stab him or spray pepper spray in his face. If none of that worked she just beat him up. She was stronger than she looked after all. Sighing after she was done working out she realized she was pretty sweaty she walked into the bathroom. Striping done she stepped into the shower and turned on the hot water. Letting the water bounce off her pale skin she wet her hair to prepare it for her shampoo. Then grasping her strawberry smelling shampoo she massaged it into her scalp and then let the water rinse it out for her thick brunette hair. She did the same process with her matching strawberry conditioner. Beth grasped her body wash next that smelled like cherry blossoms. Lathering it all of her tall frame she then let the water do its job and rinse all of the foamy substance from her pallid skin.
Once she was done in the shower completely she shut the water off and grabbed a towel. Running it over her hair and body so they weren’t dripping wet. Then with her towel wrapped tightly around her body she grabbed her toothbrush and after coating it with minty toothpaste she brushed her teeth and when she was done she spit into her sink and the turn on the water. Cupping her hands, she took the water into her mouth and swished it around. Spitting again, she grabbed a small towel to wipe her face with it. Now that she was done cleaning her teeth she grabbed her face wash and put it on the sink counter. Turning on the water once again, she cupped her face again, but this time splashed her face with the water in her hands. Shutting the water off again she squeezed some face wash into her finger tips and massaged the face wash into her face to take care of any dirt or oil present on her face. Cupping her again she filled it with water and splashed her face again getting all of the face wash off. She patted her face dry again she looked at herself in the mirror careful to make sure that her towel stayed on her.
Taking out some makeup, not a lot, she applied liquid foundation with her fingers then set it with power foundation. The foundation was simply to cover any redness or blemishes she had. She skipped putting on blush though because she didn’t want the color on her face. Beth didn’t put eyeliner on, but she did coat her lashes with some mascara just because. Then grasping a tube of nude lipstick she twisted it up and spread it on her plump lips. After that she felt satisfied with how she looked and put it all away. Getting out her blow dryer she plugged it in and took the next fifteen minutes drying her hair. When she was done it was in a slightly wavy manner, which was fine with. Beth then wasted the next hour straightening her hair because she had nothing else to do. Her hair was now pin straight and well basically perfect. Now that she was done in the bathroom she moved to her bedroom where her clothes were already picked out and laid out on her bed. Her outfit consisted of a black lace dress, black tights, and black heels. Yes, it was all black. Beth didn’t like color too much and hated wearing it. Slipping the clothes on, she walked to her dresser counter and grabbed her snake ring and black feather earrings. Putting them on as well she looked at the mirror and wondered why she was putting so much into getting ready. She had no idea, but she had.
Hearing a knock on her door she sighed and prepared herself for the date ahead of her. Walking down her hallways she made her way to the door. Twisting the door handle she opened the door and heard him say, “Hello, Beth.” There he went again saying her first name without any explanation. He offered her his hand, but she didn’t take it. She didn’t want him touching her. He was still a stalker. Beth looked him up and down and decided that he looked…nice. They were both dressed in black ironically, but he had some white in his jacket and pants from it being pinstriped. “Hey, Pretty Boy.” She said not using his real name because she had honestly forgotten it. He gave her a “charming” smile and she had to use all her will power not to roll her eyes and slam the door in his face again. It just gave her such a satisfaction to slam the wooden door in his face. She liked doing it, but she couldn’t do it now. She had to stick through this date until it was done. She just prayed that it would be over soon. “You read to go?” He asked. She blinked and couldn’t believe he asked that. Would she be out here fully dressed if she wasn’t ready!? Such a stupid boy. “Would I be out here fully dressed if I wasn’t ready?” She asked flatly trying to keep the anger from her voice as much as she could. It was becoming harder and harder to do that though. Oh God, help her survive this date. She didn’t know if she would be able to, but she had to try. She wanted to ask that question and she was guessing that she would have to survive the whole date to do that. It would be torture and she could just imagine the stupid moves he’d try to use, but she’d have to try her best. She didn’t get it. No one had showed so much interest in her and annoy her so much and at the same time. She tried to get over her hate for him, but it was too strong. He was such an annoying little creepy pretty boy pervert guy. Always following her around and breaking into her house. He was ridiculous. Completely and utterly ridiculous. She didn’t know how she’d shake him off or get him to just leave her alone, but she’d figure something out. Being mean to her and threatening him just wasn’t working. Those were her usual approaches so she didn’t know what else to do. Maybe he’d just leave after awhile. One could only hope for the best.
Beth’s icy blue eyes flickered toward to a car that obviously belonged to him. It was a nice care, an expensive care, which only made her think he was a rich, stuck up, pretty boy even more. His rich ad probably bought him the car. Typical, typical, typical. Why wasn’t she surprised at all? Did she really expect him to have earned this money on his own? Ha! Beth doubted that he had ever worked a day in his life. Probably glided through life getting everything handed to him on a silver platter. It disgusted her. Beth worked for everything that she got and trained everyday to be the best that she could. Pretty Boy would never know anything about that because he was a spoiled brat. She hated being around him, she hated that he was always around her, and she hated that she had to go on a date with him. She didn’t want to be around him and she didn’t want to be going on this date, but she wanted that answer. She wanted it so bad that she was going on this date. She wanted to know why he was stalking her. He wouldn’t answer it unless she went on this stupid, annoying, terrible date. She was just going to have to stick it out. She could do that. Well she hoped she could do it. “Nice car.” She said shortly not wanting her anger to slip back into her words and cause a fight of an awkward moment.

She called him 'pretty boy', not even acknowledging him by his real name. Not like he minded anyways. Many people, over the several years in his life, had called him pretty boy. He took a quick glance over to Beth, not letting his eyes glue on her for too long or she might get pissed. Hey. Don't mind him. He's a guy. She looked simply stunning, wearing an all black attire that matched his quite well. She wore a black lace dress that accentuated her curves along with a pair of black leggings so she wouldn't show too much skin. "You look absolutely gorgeous." He complimented, just throwing it out there. She really did. She was quite a sight. And he was proud to say that he was taking Elizabeth Jeggard out on a date. Well it looks like she took her time to get all dolled up for this date. He knew females like to do that, get pretty and take their time to get ready. But Beth was not one of those girls how took forever and made the male wait as she finished up the final touches.
The moment she responded to his question with such anger and in a flat tone, Nate dismissed with with a simple shrug of his shoulders. He constantly reminded himself that Beth acted his way since the loss of her siblings. She acted this way to everyone. She was cold, mean, bitchy and ruthless on the exterior but on the interior, she was heartbroken. The angel just kept telling himself that, reminding himself that she was his charge, not some pretty girl he was taking out on a date. He was just going to play the pretty boy role and just play along with it, hoping to finally beat down those walls she had put up or even just try to chip it. She even rejected him when he offered his hand to her. Oh. Pity. It was her loss in the end. Beth made her way over to his car.
When Beth compliment him on his car, the male gave a quick nod on acknowledgment. Nice car indeed. Believe or not, he bought the car himself with his own money, money he collected over the years, since he didn't have anymore family around. The 'Ahriman' family line died off with him and his half sister, where her whereabouts were unknown. So he just claimed the family line died with him and only him. The male opened the car door and held it open for Beth. The moment she slipped inside and got herself comfortable, the male closed the door and walked over to the diver seat, letting himself slip into his own car. Nate started the car and his vehicle started up with a smooth purring sound. He soon began to pull away from the house and started driving towards their destination. He gave a sidelong glance at the girl. He knew she loathed being here with him. She loathed him. He could just feel the hatred and annoyance radiated off her. He didn't have to be a empath to even figure it out. She simply hated him, it was just pulsing off her; her hatred, her fear and her annoyance of him. Suddenly, he felt discouraged, not wanting to continue being with her anymore.
There was silence the entire car ride but he finally decided to speak, trying to break the silence between them. He silence was starting to get to him. "Why do you hate me so much, Beth?" He asked carefully, his voice was calm not a hint of anger could be found. The tone was so even and it just sounded so casual right when it came out of his mouth. But there was no longer that pretty boy charm he wore before on his sleeve. Right now..there was nothing in his expression, just coldness. It was like he flipped a simple switch, an off switch, and his natural charisma was gone, the cockiness, just replaced with no emotions. It was all gone. He was just another pretty face. That was how he had been for the past couple of years; a emotionless puppet. He got rid of his emotions after getting hurt too many times by the person he loved in his life.
Molly Monet, an ex girlfriend. The two of them fell madly in love when he first became a guardian angel, only then, Molly fell from grace, becoming a fallen angel. Now then, she took to the next level and became a demon. Her hatred towards humans and angels was to much. So naturally, Nate had to become enemies with the former love of his life. It was in his blood to hate demons. Then there was Teresa Leitner, another former angel. He was her mentor and they both fell madly in love with each other. Up until she went behind his back and cheated on him..with a human. A human! Was he not good enough for her? Apparently. She didn't even end things with him but instead thought she was all sneaky and went behind his back. Both of the times, the two former loves of his life had hurt him. Badly. But why was he even trying with Beth? He didn't want to try, but he needed to. That's why he was so determined in the past. But now, there was nothing convincing him to go on.
Stepping on the breaks, the car soon stopped not to far away from the beaches. In the distance, close by the waters, on the dock, there was a small table set up for the two of them. That's what Nate had brought her on. A candlelit dinner along the beach as they watched the sun set. How romantic, yes? Many girls would agree. A fancy, super romantic date with a hot guy would be nice. If only she wanted to be here. She didn't want. He felt like the beat from that one Disney cartoon 'Beauty and the Beast.' He was the beast and he had had made Belle stay with him, against her will. The male shook his head and looked down at his feet. He felt defeated, undetermined and hopeless now. The angel ran his free hand through his hair, a tad bit annoyed with himself for saying this."I give up." He said quietly, more to himself than to Beth. The date haven't even started and he was just going to throw in the towel. He was just going to tell Hayden that he couldn't do it anymore.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #000000, width: 300px; height: 300px;] suppose I kept on singing love songs just to break my own fall Beth let Nate lead her to his car, but didn’t let him touch her. She didn’t trust him enough to let him do so. She still thought he was stalking her and was creepy so of course she wasn’t going to let his hands on her body. Then again she barely trusted guys like him to touch her in any way, in by just brushing her shoulder because she knew what they wanted. They wanted her body and nothing else. She knew his type. In high school they were always asking Delilah and her out. Sometimes Delilah would go out with them, but Beth never dared to do go out with them. She’d just blush furiously and shake her head ‘no’. Whenever she even thought of accepting the offer Delilah and Hayden would talk her out of it. Delilah would tell her that all they ever wanted was to sleep with her and how she had experienced it firsthand. Then Hayden would tell her that he had talked to guys like that and they were all the same. All of them wanted pretty girls to show off and have sex with. So any offer she got from one of them she declined in a polite way of course because it was little, sweet, shy Beth. God, thinking about how she used to be was almost hilarious, but also scary. If she had stayed that way what could have happened? Also it almost freaked Beth out about how much she had changed. She had changed so quickly too so was it possible for her to change back? Was it possible that one day she could just wake up and be all shy and quiet? That’d be….terrible. She didn’t want to go back. She liked her new self. Also how in the world would she hunt if she afraid to be even near a supernatural especially something deadly like a vampire? Oh God, she hoped it wasn’t possibly, but then when Beth stopped to think about it and realized that she most likely wouldn’t change. She had gone so far to the complete opposite that she couldn’t be shy again. Still, it was weird to think about being shy and sweet and innocent again. I mean how would she react to Wes or Cas or Jude or even Pretty Boy. God, she’d be such an easy target for him and his dirty intentions. She would be completely defenseless and clumsy and unable to fight back. Thank God she wasn’t like that anymore. Being cold now was something like a gift if she looked back at what she was like before. Still she gave up a lot to have this “gift”. She gave up her siblings. Losing them gave her this whole new personality. Was it worth it? That was something that Beth would most likely ask for the rest of her life. If she had a choice, which would she want? Beth thought she’d choose her siblings, but you never knew what you’d do if you had the option of changing your life. Thinking about it maybe her shyness wasn’t too bad, but Beth hated the consistent…what was it? Fear? Terror? Nervousness? More like all of the above. Beth was never scared now. She always made her weapons, even now. She had her switch blade in a holster on her thigh that was hidden by her dress. It was really just a precaution in case something happened or Pretty Boy got any ideas. Was it wrong to have weapons on a date? No, it was for safety. It was quite practical in her opinion. I mean what if someone attacked them well then they’d be saved by Beth stabbing them in the heart. One day someone would thank her of her for her precautions.
The car started and it shook Beth out of her thoughts. She quickly buckled her seat belt to be safe and kept the silence. She dared say anything. What would she say? Something about the weather? No. That was so stupid. She didn’t know why anyone would talk about the weather during an awkward moment. It obviously only made it more awkward because everyone knew that when you talked about the weather that it was awkward and uncomfortable so it only made the already awkward moment more awkward. Thankfully Pretty Boy didn’t start talking about the weather. No, he said, “Why do you hate me so much, Beth?” She tried to find any emotion, but all she found was calmness. Beth glanced at him and blinked wondering if he had actually asked such a question. Wasn’t it obvious? He was a creepy, perverted pretty boy who was trying to get into her pants. What was there to like? Turning back to the scenery she sucked on her lips for a moment and then popped them back out with a quiet popping noise to match it. “You haven’t really showed me much to like. I mean you broke into my house numerous times and basically stalk me. I mean I haven’t seen much to like.”She answered the emotion lacking from her voice. Her icy blue eyes were fixated on the rushing scenery that flew by her in Pretty Boy’s car. Where were they going? That was what Beth wondered. They obviously weren’t going to a movie by the way they both dressed. Well she’d see soon enough.
Then suddenly Pretty Boy hit the brakes sending her forward a little bit. She looked at Pretty Boy shocked and saw him looking at his feet. What in the world was he doing? “I give up.” He said still looking at his feet. She cocked and eyebrow and wondered what she was supposed to say. Then something registered in her mind. She wasn’t going to get her question. Dealing with him was now for nothing because he was throwing in the towel. No. Just no! That was not acceptable! How dare he take her question! Slamming her palms down on the air bag she looked at her angrily. “No! No! No! I’ve dealt with you for about a week and all I’ve ever wanted to do was kill you! So now the first time you actually offer something good for me and you give up! YOU GIVE UP! NO! NO! NO! I’m getting my question! Take me on this damn date or else!” She yelled at him her blue eyes blazing with anger. Resting back in her seat she crossed her arms furious. “What are you waiting for?” She said through her clenched teeth.

Why did she hate him so much? Part of him feared the answer to his question. He was scared, but another part just felt..nothing. He just remained impassive. Over the years, he managed to develop something call the 'switch'. Think of a light switch, one flip, its darkness and then another flip, there was light. It was the same with his emotions. He just learned to turn it on or off whenever he felt like it. Right now, Nate was somewhere in the middle of feeling something and feeling nothing. Part of him wanted to feel what he was feeling and another was smothering away his emotions. Why did Beth even make him feel this way?
Then Beth went on and on about him breaking into her house and how he gave her nothing to like about him. Okay okay. Did she really expect him to buy the, you broke into my house bullshit? He didn't break into the house. The first time, the house was wide open and the second time, she didn't lock the door. Both times, it was as if she was begging for him to come inside. He was sick of it! He was sick of the fact that Beth never gave him a chance to even try to even win her over. So he just forced his way through. "You wouldn't give me a chance to even explain myself. Or even give me a chance at all" The male exclaimed, He then buried his face into his hands. He raised his head up and dropped his hands back to his sides. "And now that you did, you're being judgy." He said, truthfully, giving Beth a sidelong glance. This felt weird. The fact that she was just blowing up right in front of Beth right now. Anger and hurt because he was misunderstood.
The moment he said that he was going to give up, he swore he could just imagine Beth walking out on him, saying 'fine'. And there, he would never see her again. Never. He would leave her alone. But no, that was not what she did. Instead, the female became furious and begun throwing a fit, screaming only word several times. Beth soon began going on about how she had dealt with him for a whole week and the whole time she wanted to slaughter him. There was no sign of fear in his reaction, maybe because he knew that Beth could not kill him. "Then why haven't you killed me yet? You could have killed me and cleaned it up with ease" He asked his voice stern. Or why haven't she hurt him or torture him to the point where he didn't even want to see her anymore? . Good question, why haven't she? He already seen how good she was as a hunter, hitting every target with such precision and ease. He was sure that the female killed many supernaturals, not caring if they had loved ones or not and then clean up the whole scene or left it in a bloody mess. Either way, she could have killed him so easily, well if he was a human. But he wasn't.
The female huntress slammed her hands against the protective plastic covering over the airbags. The sounds cause his head to jerk towards her and damn, she looked furious. She told -- no -- demanded that he should take her out on this date or else. Or else what? The frustrated groaned came from the male's throat." Fine." He said. The way she was trying to demand him to take her on this date sounded like she actually wanted to go on this date with him. She actually did. It did give a small pang of hope, some kind of determination to go on with the date. It gave him a small hope to even keep going on with Beth. To not give up on her and not drop her as his charge. He would just have to get this over with and see how things ended at the end of the night. If things went well, then that was good but if things went downhill, he was just going to leave Beth. Never see his again. Wouldn't she be so happy?
The male exited his car and made his way over to the other side. He opened the door and held it out for Beth. The moment she slipped out gracefully, the male closed the door. He took his keys out of her pocket and pressed the lock button. The car immediately responded with a beep sound. Nate offered his hand to Beth once more, figuring that Beth would just reject his offer once more like she had done so before. He led the way, keeping a comfortable distance from Beth. The male made his way towards the dock, which was not to far away from the beach, but every once in a while, he would glance over his shoulder to see if Beth was behind him and not trailing to far behind. He led the female towards the table that was set up for the both of them. In the middle there was an intricate candle stand, in case it got so dark and the sun had already set. All they had to do was light the candles. The angel pulled out the chair for Beth and once she got seats, the male pushed his in slightly.
He didn't bother to burn time, or distract her from what she wanted, which was answers from him. If she wanted answers, he was going to give it. Nate was not going to waste time. He didn't want to keep her here longer than either of them wanted to be here. It would be pointless. "Okay. So I'm sure you have many questions for me." He said calmly "So, I'm ready." He stated, taking a seat down across from her. He placed one finger on his temple, mentally bracing himself for the questions that she was going to ask him. He already knew that Beth was going to drop the question bomb on him. And he, will be ready for it. He had dropped his pretty boy charm. It was barely there anymore. What or whom was sitting in front of Beth was entirely a different person she had met up with at the beginning of this date. He went from man whore straight to professional. Nate raised an eyebrow curiously, almost as if he was asking 'what are you waiting for, dear?'

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #000000, width: 300px; height: 300px;] suppose I kept on singing love songs just to break my own fall
“You wouldn’t give me a chance to even explain myself. Or even give me a chance at all. And now that you did, you’re being judgy.” Nate exclaimed and she shot daggers at him with her identical icy blue eyes. Low in her throat she growled and grasped the leather seat tightly, her nails digging into the tough leather. How dare he yell at her! She had done nothing wrong! She was merely a victim in his game! She never asked for him to be in her life and he had the audacity to blame her. BLAME HER! What a douche bag! Beth grinded her teeth to stop herself from lunging at him with her switch blade out and ready to stab his little pretty boy heart. Exhaling sharply, she glared at him some more and yelled, “Don’t you dare blame this on me you fucking spoiled Pretty Boy. It’s not my fault that I’m the first girl that ever rejected you and didn’t want you fuck with her! And why should I give you a chance! All you have ever done is cause me trouble and stalk me and be a pain in my ass!” She growled at him once again and snapped her head away from Pretty Boy. She couldn’t wait from this date to be down and the sad thing was that it hadn’t even started yet. This was just perfect wasn’t it? She was fighting with Pretty Boy before their date even started and now they both hated each other with all their being. Well this was going to be just a fabulous date. She knew that these few hours were going to be fantastic . Even though the date hadn’t even started she knew that this was the worst date that she had ever been on before. They were already fighting and bickering like an old married couple. Beth was ready to just jump out of the car and crawl back to her house, but she wanted that question. It would answer something that she really, really, really wanted to know. Like if he was stalking her or not. Or why he chose her out of every girl. Or who the hell he really was. I mean Beth knew nothing about him. She couldn’t even remember his name. That was why she always called him Pretty Boy. Because she honestly couldn’t remember his name to save her life. It was sad, but really she hadn’t really cared about who he was nor did she think he would show up again so why in the world would she bother learning what he name was? If she didn’t care then there wasn’t a use in taking up brain cells to learn the name of a stupid pretty boy. Maybe one day he’d say it again, but then again she doubted he come back after this. He seemed angry with her as well so maybe she wouldn’t have to deal with him and his creepiness. Beth thanked the lord for that.
“Then why haven’t you killed me yet? You could have killed me and cleaned it up with ease.” He questioned her, his tone taut and stern. She crossed her arms and tried to think of why she hadn’t killed him. She thought back to every time she was with him and just tried to think what was going through her head. Oh yeah. She remembered now. She was always too busy kicking him out of her house and the neighbors were always around. She couldn’t kill all of the neighbors that had seen her commit murder. Still she could have lured him in, but really some of her neighbors would have noticed when the young man didn’t come back out. It would have been a mess. “Don’t tempt me, Pretty Boy. You should know that I always had a knife with me and if you really want to know why I never killed you was because my neighbors would have realized something was up and you’re not worth getting thrown in jail for. Also part of me wished you’d just go away because you knew I hated you so much, but no! You just had to stalk me!” She explained getting angrier and angrier by the syllable. God, he was the most annoying person on earth. He thought he was always right, but he was always wrong and he like expected her just understand that was creepy and that she should sleep with him. Pretty Boy really needed to watch his back because if he pissed her off one more time she’d have a knife in his back before the end of the night. That was for sure.
“Fine.” He said after his frustrated groan. He was frustrated? HE was frustrated? He was the one that basically forced her on this stupid date. Such an arrogant pig this one was. “Fine.” She said shortly. She sat there angrily and watched him get out of the car and come around her side. As he opened the door she did as well causing it to hit him in the stomach/crotch area. Stepping out she put on a fake sticky sweet smile and said, “Oops.” After saying that the fake smile fell of her face and went back to her scowl. When the car was locked again he offered his hand and she swatted it away. “Don’t touch me.” She said in a threatening manner. She let him get ahead, not wanting to be too close to him and she didn’t take the lead because she didn’t know where to go. As they approach where the date was supposed to be held so felt impressed. He must have hired a really good planner or something. This would have been her dream date if only she was with her dream guy. Sadly she was with Pretty Boy and they hated each other. What a nice way to start a date. Sitting down in her chair she looked at him and asked emotionlessly, “Who did all this?” Tapping her finger on the table she heard Pretty Boy get right to the point and said, “Okay. So I’m sure you have many questions for me. So, I’m ready.” Beth bit her lip and thought, but realized she didn’t know how many questions she got to ask. She then asked, “Depends. How many am I allowed to ask you?”

When she tried and successfully hit him in his crotch area, Nate raised an eyebrow at her as some obviously fake smile soon creeped up on her gorgeous facial features. Then in a very fake voice, as fake as a Barbie doll's boobs, the female said, 'oops'. Huh? He was so confused on what had just happened. What was that...Oh. He managed to recollect everything in his mind, piecing all the puzzles pieces together. That was one bad part about being an angel. He couldn't feel the physical touch of another. He didn't feel what Beth had just done. What did she even do? Oh. It all made sense now. A normal guys would have doubled over in pain and started groaning because it hurt like a bitch. But....the problem was that Nate didn't feel it. He couldn't feel. The fact that he made no response to it, the brunette must have thought he had balls of steel or something or a very high pain tolerance.
The female smacked his hand away from her when he offered it, then demanded him not to touch her. What? Nate scowled, a low one, so it wasn't loud enough for her to hear it. When they had taken a seat, Beth looked fairly impressed with the whole scenario that he had planned out for the two of them. "Believe or not, Beth. I did it." He said, running his hands through his hair. Of course, she wouldn't believe him because she just thought of him as some kind of pretty boy who only stalked her and wanted to use for sex. Plus, she probably viewed him as just another stupid boy who didn't have a brain. Silly. She was such a judgmental girl.
He thought about it for a moment, choosing how many questions Beth would be able to ask him. Beth was allowing him to give her a limit. If he just let her run wild, she was going to slam him with so much questions that it would overwhelm him. "One question. Any question I'll answer it honestly." He said, placing his hand under his chin for steadiness. Angels rarely lied, but she didn't know that. She didn't even know that Nate was a very honest boy just running a con like this. "Make it count." He added quickly after. He didn't want Beth was waste her question on some silly matter like how did he know her name? Or why the hell was he stalking her? No. That was needless matter. Pointless. She better as a question that was worth his voice, time and effort. And she better be listening too if he was to answer the question.
--------------------------------------------------
They managed to make it through the date without trying to kill each other or be at their throats. What a great achievement. He should receive a pat on his back. Their date was full of silence and hatred just pulsing between the two of them. He wouldn't go as far as to saying that he hated her, but he didn't like her either. He was somewhere in between like and hate. Such a fine line between the two of those choices. Instead of flirting with her and trying to charm her during the date, like Nate had attempted several times and failed, he decided to play his 'darker' role. He went for strictly business, emotionless, cold, just like how she was. And amazingly, he was good at it. It didn't shock him though. It was just an easy role for him to play out.
He opened the car door and slipped out, making his way towards the other side. He once again, opened the door for Beth. But this time, he shot her a glare, telling her not to hit him against like she did before. He didn't even offer his hand out to her because Nate knew that even if he did, she could reject it, like all the other times before. He just led her towards the doorway of her house, hand stuffed into her pockets. He felt rude to just leave her without saying goodbye or walking her to her doorway. Even though he was being mean to her, he still held his gentleman qualities. "Goodbye, Beth." He said, coldly, putting very little emotion into his voice. He even avoided eye contact with those gorgeous, striking blue eyes. He was just....going to have to let her go. Let her be.
But before he even let her walk away from him, the guardian angel grabbed his charge's wrist, causing her not to go any further. What the hell? He just acted on impulse. "Wait." He blurted out. One part of him just told him-- no, screamed to him to walk away right now, just let her go. But another part, his more protective side, told him to keep her, let to her, not let her go. He didn't know which side to even listen to right now! The male quickly wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him. Their bodies touched. Right when Nathaniel wrapped his arms around her body, he felt her whole body freeze and immediately tense up. But now, she was not tensed up because he was a threat to her, instead because he was holding her in his arms. It was a such a bold move and such a risk. It was a risk he was going to take for her. He was even shocked with what he had done.
Then almost immediately his lips met with hers, molding together quite perfectly as if it was meant to be. At first, in the beginning, the kiss was sweet and light, like a feather. He rested one hand on her cheek and the other was on the small of her back, pulling Beth closer to him if it was even possible. Soon his kiss became more passionate and..hot? It became full out passion streaming between the two of them. Energy, shocking pulses of pure lust and bliss.Beth's lips were amazingly soft and tasted like candy. He wasn't sure if it was her natural taste or just her lipstick she wore, either way. The sad part was that he couldn't feel the pressure she was applying to their kiss, her arms on his body. He couldn't feel it. It saddened him, frustrated him, angered him. But Nate could remember how to felt like to kiss someone. He could remember the way someone's lips felt against his and their touch. He just remembered it but it was faint, distant from him. But he could never feel it once again.
Hell yes. He wanted her so badly. Was this lust? Physical desire? Sexual desire? But lust, that was one of the seven deadly sins. It was a sin to want someone. Better yet, he wanted to be with a human. A human. Not any human. A huntress. This was going to get his wings clipped. But there was also this fluttering feeling in his stomach. Butterflies. As much as he loved all the lovely beings in the world, those butterflies had to die. What was this feeling he felt? A high school crush? He haven't felt anything like this in so long. Ever since Molly or Teresa. He didn't know what he was feeling anymore. It felt like a bunch of crap thrown together, hatred and lust. It made him feel a little sick to the stomach. But in the end, Nathaniel was willing to risk or do anything for a girl like Beth, who was his charge, his number on priority. Even if he denied it in his head.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #000000, width: 300px; height: 300px;] suppose I kept on singing love songs just to break my own fall Beth was very confused to say the least when Pretty Boy seemed unfazed by Beth slamming the door in his crotch. Most guys would have been on the ground cursing her name and writhing in pain because well a shot to the balls was fatal for guys. So why in the world was Pretty Boy acting like he was perfectly fine and didn’t even seem to notice what Beth did. Nothing. Beth was nothing. Not even a flicker of annoyance in her eyes. What the hell was up with him? Did he like not feel pain or was he just a fabulous actor. Either way it was very weird. He was weird. This whole situation was weird. Now he was the freaky, perverted, stalker, pretty boy. What a title. Beth guessed that he was quite proud of it too. Thinking about his title more she wondered if he did this to other girls. Stalk them, that is. Was he one of those very obsessive guys that just had to have a girl when he saw one? If he was then well she would like to meet these girls and ask how she could shake him off. I mean they must have or maybe he just moved on when he found another girl. Was Beth his newest victim or was it possible that he was stalking multiple girls and just waiting for one to crack and give up and let him win. Oh God, just the thought of him being like that. It was so creepy and twisted and sick. Like something someone would make a horror film about. Oh Lord, just the thought of it gave her the chills and she lightly shook her head trying to get the idea out of the head and she was successful in doing so.
“Believe it or not, Beth. I did it.” He said running one hand through his hair. Yeah right. Did he really believe that she was going to believe that he had done this all by himself? Impossible. A pretty boy like him couldn’t have done this all by himself. She could definitely see him hiring someone to plan this date out and make it for him. Yeah, no doubt that he did just that. Typical pretty boy attitude. How did she know so much about this? Well all her judgments and thoughts about him and his kind came from what Delilah told her. When Delilah would come home from a date she would tell Beth everything about it and sometimes Hayden would listen in just to laugh and tell Delilah, “told you so”. Yeah, Hayden would always warn Delilah not to go out with them, but Delilah would just ignore him and go anyway. One time Beth asked why she did that and Delilah said it was because she had nothing better to do, which Beth sort of understood, but she didn’t understand why Delilah would put up with their treatment and annoyance. Beth still didn’t get it and knew that she never wanted to go on a date with a pretty boy again. They were quite annoying and Beth just wanted to stab them. “Sure.” She said her tone conveying her doubt in his statement. There was no way he did this all. It was way too good and romantic and nice. So far the most romantic thing Pretty Boy had done for Beth was bring her stupid chocolates and flowers that would die in a week. What a great present. That was just what every girl wanted from the guy that was stalking her. Well at least Beth knew that that was what she wanted…not.
Beth drummed her fingers on the table waiting for him to answer her question about their whole question deal thing. “One question. Any question I’ll answer it honestly. Make it count.” He said his tone lacking emotion or care like it had before. Not like she cared though. Even like this his voice annoyed her ears. She observed him as he placed his hand under his chin and looked at her waiting for her to ask her question. She only had one so she had to think about it. It had to be good and it had to answer one of the questions she wanted answered the most. Then something crossed her mind. What if he came back and did something that questioned her more. What was she going to do then? He wouldn’t answer her question so she’d be screwed. Maybe she could just save it. Yeah…she would save it. That was what she was going to do. “I’m going to save my question.” She said in a matching tone to his. She didn’t know how he’d react to that, but honestly, she didn’t care.
- - - - - - - - - - -
The date had been horrible. No one had died…sadly. She wasn’t lucky enough to have had Pretty Boy die. Honestly the date had been quite silent. The only noises they made were them breathing. Mostly they just glared at each other a few times. Obviously they hated each other and well that was just fine with her. That meant that he wasn’t coming back and the Lord knew that that was all she really wanted, for him to leave. Wasn’t she just a lucky, lucky girl? As Pretty Boy drove her home she didn’t look at him, only the scenery that was around them. She was grateful that there was one good thing happening this night and at least she had one pretty thing to look at tonight. The moon was bright and the stars were twinkling. The air was warm and well that was the only good thing of the night that nature was so nice tonight. Beth almost jumped for joy when they finally made it to her house. She was almost free. All she had to do was walk to her door and she was done. She was done with this horrible night. She could do whatever she wanted and she would never have to see him again. Beth remained emotionless when Pretty Boy stopped the car and got out. When he opened her door he shot her a glare that she knew meant not to shove the door in his crotch again. Not wanting to possibly feel Pretty Boy’s wrath she let him open the door and climbed out of the car. Brushing her dress off, she noticed he didn’t offer his hand and she almost smiled, but didn’t. He was catching on. It definitely took him long enough. So then the two walked to her door and he said stiffly, “Goodbye, Beth.” She blinked her big, blue eyes and nodded. “Night, Pretty Boy.” She said her voice seriously lacking emotion.
When she turned to open her door, suddenly he grabbed her wrist. “Wait.” He blurted out and she turned around slowly not sure what was going on, but she knew that she was scared by the possibilities of what could happen. Was he making a move? Oh God, she hoped he wasn’t because she definitely wasn’t prepared for if he did except her knife, but then again the neighbors could see, which would be bad. She didn’t really want to go to jail for killing such an annoyance. Then suddenly he wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her in. Their bodies touch and she did a little, silent gasp at the move. Well she hadn’t expected this to happen especially after he acted like he hated her as much as she hated him. Her whole body tensed up as she waited for him to make his next move. As she waited she stared into his matching blue eyes that were almost just like hers. She blinked at him and thought to herself, “Beth…just stab him dead.” She just couldn’t do that though. She couldn’t move. She was locked into his grasp by his arm and his icy blue eyes. What was she going to do? Part of her wanted to see what he was going to do, while the other part of her wanted to just run away. She was so torn.
Then out of nowhere he kissed her. He kissed her full on the mouth. At first she just stood there, eyes large with shock, but as he continued to gently kiss her lump lips she found her eyes fluttering closed and she even kissed him back. Yes, Beth kissed him back. Their lips molded with each other perfectly like two halves that had been destined to be brought together. As he moved on hand to her cheek and the other on the small of her back trying to bring her closer, which Beth didn’t know was possible because their bodies were already pressed together and their stomachs were touching each other. Still Beth wrapped her arms around his neck to help bring the two closer together. Even though Beth was supposed to hate him she couldn’t stop kissing him. His lips were getting addictive and Beth found her kisses more urgent and wanting. She couldn’t help it. His lips were soft, but slightly chapped, which Beth surprisingly liked…a lot. Also being this close allowed her to take in his melt worthy scent that she hadn’t noticed before. Not to mention the spark she got by his gentle touches to his skin. If this wasn’t magic Beth didn’t know what was. This got interesting when his kisses started to bring in more passion and roughness, which Beth automatically matched. It felt natural kissing him…even…right. Wait. What was she saying? This was Pretty Boy. She hated him? No, she did hate him. At the realization of what she was doing she pulled away from their kiss and their touch and looked at the ground. God, she felt like she was in high school again because she was getting all shy and nervous again. Not good. Not good at all. “I-I got to go.” She said quickly and opened her door and slipped into her house. Closing the door behind her, she exhaled and slid down her door wondering why in the world she had just done that. It scared her that she liked it and she liked his touch on her. How could this be? This was crazy! Running a hand through her hair, she lightly touched her lips and blinked how. “Oh my God…I kissed Pretty Boy.” She said completely freaked out and confused. Beth had a feeling that this would only lead to trouble and well a lot of confusion on her part. Now all she wondered was how Pretty Boy was feeling now. Did he like it? Was she good? Wait. Why did she care? She hated him…right? Well she thought she did, but now that she kissed him she was really confused and she didn’t know. Oh if this was ever a time for someone to tell her what to do it was now. She needed some advice desperately because she was literally going crazy. Completely and utterly crazy. Her head was going to burst if she couldn’t figure her feeling quickly. Slowly standing up she took off her heels and walked to the bathroom. Looking in the mirror she blinked at herself and touched her lips again. ‘These lips were just kissing Pretty Boy.’ She thought to herself and she noticed that some of her lipstick was off. Obviously it was on his lips right now and she wondered if he noticed. Well he probably would notice eventually. He’d have to look in a mirror eventually and then he’d see it. Beth wondered what his reaction would be though. Would he smile or laugh or feel embarrassed. Ugh! There she went again thinking about him and his feelings! She didn’t care about him or his feelings so she shouldn’t be thinking about them. Beth sighed and decided to just stop thinking about him for awhile. She needed to focus on something more important. Like hunting and well now she needed to think about sleep. Taking all her makeup off and brushing her teeth, Beth walked to her bedroom and stripped down. Putting on pajamas she crawled into bed and got under her blankets. Laying her head on the pillow she tried to think of anything, but Pretty Boy until she eventually fell asleep.
