As the morning sun burned into Delilah’s eyes she woke up and was forced to move so she would be able to escape the discomfort of the sun in her eyes. Covering her head with a blanket she wished that she would just be able to fall asleep. Today she really needed her sleep. Last night had been the full moon and every werewolf knew that the next day that you were completely and utterly exhausted. Delilah squeezed her eyes tight hoping to just fall back into her serene dream world. Sadly, she was unable to do so and was forced the wake up. Groaning she pushed herself up and took a few wobbly steps out of bed. To Delilah was weird waking up by the sun. Usually Owen waked her up, which she didn’t mind. Well she didn’t mind a lot of things that Owen did. He was just too cute to get angry at. Then she yawned and stretched her arms out. Blinking her eyes a couple times she felt more awake, but still felt tiredness weighing down on her. Rubbing her eyes with her balled up hands she sighed and ran a hand through her brunette, messy waves. Then Apollo came smiling into her room and she smiled back at him. No, the Greek god hadn’t just smiled at her as he walked in. Apollo was Owen’s dog, who Delilah completely adored. Owen had rescued Apollo before he met Delilah. Apollo was such cute and friendly dog that Delilah couldn’t help, but love him. Obviously Apollo had come to greet Delilah because she had woken up first. Apollo always did that. It was quite endearing. Smiling at the dog Delilah rubbed its head and wrapped her arms around its body giving it a hug. “Morning Apollo.” She said cheerfully. Finally, she was feeling more awake and lively. She had Apollo to thank for that. His upbeat energy was cheering her up. Delilah wasn’t sure if Apollo was smiling, but he looked like he was. Could dogs smile? Well they at least looked like they were smiling sometimes. With a smile set upon her lips she said to Apollo, “Come on Apollo, let’s go wake up Owen.” Then she skipped across the hall with Apollo trotting behind her. As she reached her door she slowly opened it to see if Owen was already awake. Thankfully he was still sleeping. As she opened the whole door she smiled leaning on the door frame. He looked so peaceful when he slept and she wondered if she should just let him sleep…nah. She’d get too bored if she was up alone for too long. Also she wanted to talk with him and spend some time with him. He was her best friend and she loved being around him. Also something that almost no one knew was that Delilah had a big old crush on the awkward little werewolf. It was hard not to fall for him though. He had taken her in when she was nineteen and just wandering around in the streets wondering where to go. She had just become a werewolf and she had no idea what she was doing. She didn’t know how to control herself and she felt so tired and hungry. Then she met Owen and he let her live with him. Then he taught her all about the world of werewolves and supernaturals. Soon they were best friends and somewhere along the way she fell for him. She never told him of course. She didn’t want to ruin their friendship. She was okay with how things were for awhile. She was okay with their friendship.
Walking lightly around the room she smiled at all the physics stuff around the room. He was such a nerd, but a lovable one. He loved his physics and it was all around the room. Making sure not to step on anything she then ran over to his bed and jumped on him. Laughing she put on elbow on either of him and rested her head on her palms. Then sticking her lower legs up, she crossed them at her ankles. “Wake up, Owen! I’ll bore to death if you don’t wake up so wake up!” She said smiling. Then Apollo barked twice and she giggled. “You tell him, Apollo.” Delilah joked. Delilah looked down at him waiting for him to wake up and say something. If Delilah knew Owen though he might get very embarrassed about Delilah’s position on him because it could be taken the wrong way, but Delilah didn’t care. They were best friends so she always messed with him like that and as long as there were no unexpected visitors to come see either of them then they’d be fine. Wanting him to wake up quicker she poked his cheek and said with a fake pout, “Wake up, wolfie.”

Last night had been the full moon. Last night he had been able to recall some of what he had done, but mainly he did recall having Delilah around him. The two of them were inseparable to begin with, being friends in both forms. Plus he enjoyed having her around, she lived with him now, a roommate, him having taken her off the streets awhile back and live in his two bedroom apartment with him. He didn't mind and he had been particularly relieved when she didn't mind all the physics things lying around once in awhile. Like now for instance with him graduating soon, there were tons of papers on his desk in his room, and an odd machine out in his living room. Fortunately that seemed to be pretty much it. Owen sighed as he shifted around in his large bed, and then accidentally nudged the 8-month old German Shepherd-Rotteweiler mix, Apollo, causing the puppy to whine and wag his tail, thinking his owner was getting up. Yeah right. Owen patted the dog, glancing to the clock it was only like 7:30, no way was he getting up now. Rolling back over her groaned, "No right now Apollo." The dog whined, but soon quieted, curling up on Owen's side, with the covers half off his bare torso. Adjusting his boxers, the male then rolled over and patted Apollo gently, falling back to sleep and what it seemed like awhile later, he woke up to hear what he believed someone entering his room. Senses went on alert, though immediately recognizing Apollo and suddenly he was greeted by someone jumping on him. Shocked, Owen jerked and opened his eyes, bright blue eyes landing on the darker ones that belonged to the one and only Delilah. Relief flooded his system when he didn't have to defend himself - well - mostly.
Hearing her words, his body woke up and he then realized she was on top of him. Opening his mouth, like a fish for a moment, Owen attempted to tell her to get off, but his voice failed. Throwing a glance at Apollo, he spoke, "It...was your idea, w-wasn't it?" He twitched, looking up in mild shock at Delilah on top of him, "W-w-why are you...on top of me?" He was up, he was for sure up! Squirming underneath Delilah, Owen was surprised not only to find her in his room, but also up before him. Most of the time he beat her waking up, probably because he had stayed up a little later being a good little physics lover and working on his graduation project. Embarrassment rolled over him before he slid off the bed, managing to shake Deli off of him long enough to stumble out of his bed wearing just his pants from last night. Noticing Apollo seemed to have taken his shirt he'd been wearing, Owen sighed and ran a hand down his black hair and looked to Deli, what he called her shyly, and spoke, grabbing a shirt just to throw on, as well as a pair of pants, "M-morning to you too." he commented, grinning innocently and patting his leg, causing Apollo to yap happily and run to Owen's side, growling playfully as Owen messed with him.
Throwing on the loose shirt, Owen felt his muscles twitch slightly. He'd hit a tree by accident last night, mainly just because he had been chasing a deer, now he had a slight bruise on his side. Nothing to worry about, it was pretty much gone now. Looking to Delilah, he spoke, looking away for a moment before speaking, "Want....breakfast?" Yes, he cooked. So what? He didn't mind it, his brother did though, but Owen certainly didn't, besides he liked his steaks...specifically cooked. As raw really as the restaurants would give him his steak for. That's how he always ordered. Tossing his pillow at Delilah playfully, Owen grinned as Apollo whined happily, his tail wagging a mile a minute. "Did...you sleep ok?" Owen asked, leading Delilah out into his kitchen and living room area, grabbing some water to drink. He sighed, and stretched his already lanky frame, with the lean muscles that came with being a werewolf most of the time. "Deli...what...do you want to do today?"

was going to bring up suddenly stood like a stone as you stood quietly you're making it hard for me - - - - - - - - - ► all i can do is freeze Delilah smiled amused at his reaction when he opened his bright blue eyes. His mouth was open so wide that she was sure that soon flies would be flying into it. His eyes were as big as saucers and they were filled to the brim with shock. It was quite amusing to say the least. Then he said to Apollo, “It…was your idea, w-wasn’t it?” Delilah laughed lightly and nodded. “Yes Owen, Apollo is the evil master mind to this whole evil plan of waking you up. You’ve found us out. ” Delilah teased lightly. She hoped that Owen didn’t get too freaked out by her position. Delilah knew he was awkward with girls so she didn’t want to scare him. Also she didn’t want him to get too awkward around her. Though she didn’t want him to lose his awkward antics, they were cute and endearing. He wouldn’t be Owen without his awkwardness and love of physics. Physics was probably one of the things he loved the most. At the moment Owen was trying to graduate so lately most of the time he was working on physics. Delilah tried to help him whenever he asked, but it seemed like Owen liked to work on that stuff by himself. She understood that and didn’t press the issue. If he wanted help he would ask for it…right? Well she hoped he would because she wouldn’t mind helping him. It was the least she could do for all he’s done for her. Someday she’d repay him somehow. She just hoped it was sooner than later. Then she was sent spiraling into reality by Owen’s voice saying, “W-w-why are you…on top of me?” Delilah smiled and ran a hand through her brunette waves. “ Because I can be.” She answered smiling big at him. Then as he squirmed she laughed and then rolled off him as Owen stumbled out of bed because he was uncomfortable. Hopefully he’d get over it soon. Delilah was doing stuff like that to just see what he’d do. Owen never ever got angry at her though because he knew that Delilah loved him. Well he knew that Delilah loved him as a brother, not a lover. He was completely clueless to the fact. Delilah made sure it was that way. She couldn’t afford to let him know. She’d use everything: her home, her best friend, and her happiness. It was too much to give away if she wasn’t completely sure that he loved her back. Delilah sat up straight once she was off Owen and crossed her legs Indian style. Then she set her palms behind her on the soft comforter and then leaned back on her arms. She watched as Owen walked to his dresser shirtless and honestly didn’t care that he was half naked. Delilah had seen him shirtless a couple times before and she wasn’t a virgin so she had seen less on a guy. Then Owen began to put on a new pair of pants and a loose fitting shirt. Then Owen spoke to her grinning with that innocent smile of his saying, “M-morning to you too.” Delilah smiled and shook her head slightly. “Glad you’re up, sunshine.” She teased getting off his bed and walked near Owen. Then she was his muscles twitch like they were in pain and her eyes traveled to a bruise on his side. Delilah bit her lip and said, “ Got that last night? Looks like it hurts.” Then he looked at her and asked, “Want….breakfast?” Delilah smiled and nodded. “If you’re cooking then yes.” She said. Delilah didn’t even have to ask though. Owen always cooked for her because he seemed like he enjoyed it. Sometimes she’d help, but he was definitely the head chief in the house, which was okay with her. Delilah definitely wasn’t the best cook so living with someone that could cook was a definite plus for her. Delilah then began to wonder through his room and collapsed unto his bed because she was still a little tired. Then she lifted her head slightly to see a pillow coming at her. Quickly she ducked and then laughed. “If I didn’t know you better I’d think you were trying to hit me.” She smiled. Then Owen led her out of his room while he asked, “Did…you sleep ok?” Delilah thought for a moment and then nodded. “I suppose. Wish I could have slept longer though. How about you, Mr. Collins? Did you sleep well? I mean before you were tackled by some strange werewolf girl that lives with you.” Delilah replied smiling brightly at him looking into his big, bright, blue eyes. Delilah then put her hands on his shoulder like a conga line as he led her to his kitchen/living room area. Once they finally arrived at their destination Delilah skipped to the couch, which she flopped unto. Then Owen questioned her saying, “Deli…what…do you want to do today? Delilah tapped her chin as she thought and then smiled as she got an idea. “Can we go to the forest? Like take a walk and what not.” She asked. Then she hopped off the couch and ran over to him. Planting a hand on either shoulder she spoke rocking herself and Owen side to side lightly, “ Please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaasssssssee!!!!”

Owen snapped his fingers upon Delilah confirming his thoughts. Apollo was the mastermind. He looked to his dog, "I'm onto you." The dog, innocent as ever just whined happily and continued wagging his tail of course. Shaking his head slightly, the wolf looked to Delilah, "You...of course...are to blame. Y-you executed it." He gave her a slight look, before watching her lie back on his bed. Now most would freak about having a girl lie all over their bed. Owen didn't. He didn't have anything to hide - or admit - especially to Delilah. She was like...a super best friend. Yes, that was it. She offered to help whenever she wanted, and he usually accepted it, most of the time. Sometimes with physics, it depended, as he first didn't want her to get hurt if say, something sprung and should hit him, he'd much rather it hit him than her. Even if she too was as strong as he was, it was his knight-in-shining armor complex coming through. For once. Wrinkling his nose when she called him sunshine, he stretched, allowing his body to fully wake up, "Yeah...suppose so. Bloody sunshine waking..us up." But it was probably good they didn't sleep the whole day away, only a part of it. Though as he glanced around Delilah and through his windows, he narrowed his blue eyes. Looked like it was going to storm, plus he could sense it. That wouldn't be fun. Have a storm, that meant they'd probably be stuck inside for the better, wait. He corrected himself, no rain, just slight clouds. Good. He hated being inside as he was sure Delilah did too. Suddenly hearing her comment on the fading bruise, Owen shook his head, "It....did." Now it was just a slight throb that he knew shouldn't last more than another thirty minutes or so, which meant after breakfast he'd be fine. Upon entering his kitchen though, he looked as Apollo nudged him and Delilah, begging to be fed. Scooping up his food and feeding him, Owen looked to the brunette quietly, gesturing for her to sit as the bar in his kitchen if she wanted, where she usually did while he cooked, let him have room and they were still able to talk.
Chuckling as she commented about him having thrown the pillow at you, he raised his hands in the universal sign of surrender, "I-I was actually just....putting it back on my b-bed." He grinned impishly. Fight that logic, he'd usually say if they ever started to poke fun at each other. The wolf then looked to Delilah as he poked around his kitchen, debating on what to actually make for breakfast for the two of them. Wrinkling his nose slightly, he knew he felt like pancakes, but he wanted to see what Delilah wanted. He'd make her anything she wanted in the world. Why not? Feeling shivers down his body when her hands touched his shoulders, Owen became painfully aware of Delilah right behind him as they had headed out to this spot, he shrugged, "All right...I suppose." He sneezed then, and gave Apollo a look. It was this new food his parents had sent him, claiming it was good for the puppy, but it made Owen sneeze. Whatever was in it, fortunately this was one of the last times he'd need to feed Apollo the "puppy" food and get him onto something else. Blue eyes locked onto Delilah's darker ones as he leaned on the bar in front of Delilah, "What would you like?"
"I mean...with a werewolf jumping on me...I-I'm u-used to it." he commented, running a hand down his hair, "J-just be glad I didn't....like shift on you." he threatened. He was horrible with threats, both Cade and Delilah had pointed this out. Delilah though, was everything Owen wasn't it seemed, which he admired, he liked about her. She was so social, jumpy and outgoing. Two of the three things Owen wasn't. Jumpy being the thing they had in common, not so much jumpy, but more...eager to do things. He knew he liked always being able to do something, as it seemed Delilah did too the moment she jumped up and approached him, her hands on his shoulders - somehow she always managed to reach his shoulders despite his height, and he tensed when she did sway them back and forth and beg to go to the forest. Grinning uneasily, though eagerly, Owen placed his free hand without a small box of pancake mix in it on her hand, and nodded, "C-course we can go!" He adored the forest. Plus if he got to go with Deli, that made it even better. Maybe they could find something to do out there, play in the river or just walk and talk. Or perhaps shift and hunt. At least if they did today they would be fully conscious of what they did. The moment Delilah was off, Owen began to make her some breakfast, as well as then offering up some fruit to her, before he sat down beside her, the two of the three stools he had at his bar taken by the two of them, sitting next to her, Owen then took his finger, grinning shyly and poked Delilah's nose, causing her to get flour on her nose. "There's...something on your n-nose." cleaning his hands fully of the flour, the wolf then gnawed on the pancakes and looked to her calmly, "Need to...shower or anything before we go?"

“It…did.” Owen said shaking his head. Delilah bit her lip and glanced up at him. “Well I guess there is only one way to tell if it still hurts I guess.” She said and then slowly went in to poke his bruise. Then she poked and quickly pulled away to make sure that in case his arms flailed and hit her by accident. She didn’t want that happens for two reasons. The first one was obvious: she didn’t want to get hit. Second was because Owen would feel completely guilty if he hit Delilah. Delilah would go crazy if she had to see Owen be so guilty. All she ever wanted him to be was happy…or uncomfortable because of what she does, but only those two options. It killed her inside to see him sad and she hoped she would never have to see it again. That was why Delilah always tried to make Owen happy. His happiness brought her happiness. It was just so contagious, just like his laugh. Whenever Owen did stuff like that she couldn’t help, but do the same. His happy actions were just so contagious to her. She just had to do them. Her thoughts of him were cut in half though when she heard Owen say, “I-I was actually just….putting it back on my b-bed.” He was talking about how he threw a pillow at her. She laughed and shook her head. “ Now Owen, just because I’m not a physics nerd like you does not mean I will believe your ridiculous lies.” She laughed running hand through her brunette waves. Then when Owen gestured for her to sit at the bar in the kitchen where she usually sat while he cooked for her she skipped over to her usual middle seat. Delilah always sat in the middle seat. Then Owen would sit right next to her. It was their usual routine. It never got old though. She liked their mornings together, they were sweet.
What would you like? He asked leaning on the bar. Delilah bit her lip thinking and then smiled. “Chocolate chip pancakes, Mr. Collins. That is what I want.” She answered leaning on one hand. Then she laughed at Owen saying, “I mean…with a werewolf jumping on me…I-I’m u-used to it. J-just be glad I didn’t…like shift on you.” Owen was trying a threat again. It was pretty funny to be honest. He was just so bad at them. He was too sweet to threaten anyone. Delilah consistently told him that he was terrible at threats, which was very true. It was always amusing to her to hear them. “You’re getting better, Owen, not going to lie, but then again that doesn’t say much from where you started,” She teased gently. Delilah was sure that Owen wouldn’t get mad at this. He knew he was terrible at threats as well. It was a joke between each other and well a few other people, but the two always joked about it together. It was just what they did. Making fun of each other was part of their close knit friendship. Then again Delilah was better that the making fun while Owen tried, but most of the time they were fails. They were amusing though. It made her laugh though. Then Owen asked where she wanted to go and she said the forest. Then she placed her hands on his shoulder again and said please a million times. With her hands on his shoulders she was almost on her tippy toes. He was so tall. Sometimes it was hard to touch his shoulders and head, but she was tall enough to touch them. Then Delilah smiled from ear to ear when Owen said, “C-course we can go!” She gave him a tight hug and then let him go hesitantly. If it was her choice she would have hugged him longer, but she didn’t want him to get too uncomfortable. It was only fun to mess with him until it seriously affected him. She was afraid that one day he would become petrified of her, but she just couldn’t stop her antics because well it was way too fun to do. Throwing her hands in the air she said, “YAY!” She started twirling around and then sat back down in her middle seat. Then after Owen was done breakfast he walked over and took the seat next to her as he always did. After he set the pancakes down he poked his finger into the flour and then got the tip of her nose covered in it. She laughed as he said, “There’s…something on your n-nose.” Rubbing the flour of her nose she threatened smiling, “Next time you do that, Owen, I’m making you lick it off. Don’t doubt me either because I will make you, wolfie.” Laughing again she began to chow down on her pancakes. They were AH-MAZING! But what did she expect? Owen made them so they had to be great. He really was an awesome chief. Delilah always loved the food he cooked even if it had stuff in it that she didn’t care for like spinach. Owen could make anything tasty. She knew that for a fact. Soon she was finished with her AH-MAZING chocolate chip pancakes and stood up. She walked over to the sink and set her dirty dishes into it. Then Owen said, “Need to…shower or anything before we go?” Delilah nodded in response and then skipped over to the bathroom door. “Don’t have too much fun without me and don’t you dare peek, mister.” She said. Giggling she close the door behind her and then laughed loudly imagining Owen’s face at the comment she just made. It would be very amusing for sure. There was no question about that. Delilah knew that Owen would never peek, but it was fun poking fun at him. Then Delilah stripped and stepped into the shower. Turning on the hot water she began to lather her hair with her vanilla shampoo. Then she rinsed it all out. She did the same process with her conditioner. Then grabbing her sweet pea body wash she rubbed it all over her body and after she was done she rinsed it off as well. After she was done with her shower she turned off the water and grabbed a fluffy white towel. Delilah used it to dry her body and then wrapped it around her body. Walking to the sink she ringed out her wet hair. Then she brushed her teeth, washed her face, put on makeup, etc. She did all the things that she needed to do in the morning like any other person. Even though she put on makeup it was very light. Only a little foundation and concealer. She didn’t like to wear more than that. It only showed that would didn’t like how you really looked, which was not how Delilah felt. She was confident in her appearance. So that was why she didn’t wear much makeup. Then she combed through her hair once or twice and decided to let it dry naturally. Once she was done she rewrapped the towel and opened the door. She walked out quickly without seeing if anyone was outside the door. It just so happens that Owen was walking past the door so as she walked out of the bathroom she ran into Owen. She stumbled back once and then just smiled. Delilah giggled and winked at Owen. Then she walked to her room and closed the door behind her. Once she was in there she quickly changed into one of her favorite outfits. Once she was done she walked out and grabbed her converse. Slipping them unto her feet she called out, “I’m ready Owen!”

What Owen hadn't been expecting, was for Delilah to poke his ribs where the bruise was. Jumping, he instinctively reached to defend himself, covering the bruise and looked at her with wide eyes as she immediately jumped back after she had done so. Sighing softly, Owen shook his head slightly, blinking curiously at her. "You do...remember we heal fast...?" he smiled lightly, innocently. He twitched slightly upon hearing her mention believing his ridiculous lies. Hesitating, the wolf picked his words carefully, "H-how did you know I was lying? W-what if I wasn't?" he inquired, arching a dark eyebrow towards her before stealing the syrup from her before she could use it, as was their daily ritual of seeing who got the syrup first. Sometimes he got it, other times she did. Pausing, Owen then looked down as Apollo was sitting by them, looking up at them with those big brown eyes of his, the same ones that had told Owen he had to adopt this dog, that he couldn't just leave him there. Or maybe it was his own pack animal side speaking to him, telling him not to leave someone out. Like Delilah. But something else had told him to take her in, and soon she became a part of his life pretty much, like a sister....but not. Besides Owen never had had a sister, he only ever had Aidan, who wasn't even in the country right now, he was over in Japan and China. Whatever. Owen looked to her solemnly when she mentioned his lying. Oh haha. He thought solemnly. Hey, he could lie! Okay, that itself was a lie, and he had been told multiple times not to even bother. It wasn't in him to lie, thanks parents, he told himself. They gave him the tests when he was growing up and getting him labeled as a genius by the time he was 17, but they didn't bother to give him any good manipulating skills.
Or maybe that's just how he was. Delilah on the other hand, was...fiery. Yes, that was the best word for a part of her. Passionate was one Owen would use to describe her as well. Though he always had an awkward conversation with someone when he had to explain that he and Delilah weren't together, that they were roommates, she lived with him and used the guest bathroom, he had his own room and bathroom as the master bedroom. See, roommates. "Ha...ha." Owen commented, working on his blueberry pancakes, having made the chocolate chip ones for Delilah, as she liked them. Reaching down he innocently gave Apollo a slice of a pancake without a blueberry in it. Apollo seemed to inhale it as he then stalked off and attacked his bone, pouncing on it then pranced over to proudly show it off to Delilah and Owen - as his usual routine when he proudly "killed" his bone. Suddenly though, when Delilah threatened about the next time making him lick it off her nose, he gulped. Wait...what did she just say? Wide-eyed, Owen looked to her quietly, and wagged a finger towards her, as if silently threatening her, without opening his mouth. See? They had their own little names for each other. Owen had Deli for her, and Delilah had wolfie for him. Whatever reason she called him wolf or wolfie, beat him, but he didn't care. It was Delilah after all, he doubted he could ever get annoyed by her.
Following her as she dumped her plate in the sink, Apollo followed the other werewolf till she headed into the shower. Though when she called him out on not peeking, Owen's body stiffened and he narrowed his eyes towards her. Her teasing had become easier to handle, as it was Delilah. He didn't freak out as much with her anymore, just the usual wide-eyed reaction most of the time. Looking to Apollo, Owen gave him a toothy grin before crouching down and ruffling Apollo's fur gently, "You be good while we're gone, I put the crate up but I will take it down for you...ok?" The dog whined lightly and licked Owen's finger, as he then grinned weakly, and after getting his dish washer to set up to start washing while he and Delilah were out, he ran a brush through his hair, which fortunately was just fine, having been washed last night, and straightened as well, Owen started to head back to his room to get his shoes on. Suddenly, before he could react by the bathroom, Owen ran into Delilah. His jaw agape, Owen stepped - no - stumbled back, and hit the wall, braced himself as Apollo had conveniently didn't help. As she vanished, Owen shot the dog a look before grabbing his shoes and sliding them on, before tucking his cell phone into his pocket.
After a few minutes when Deli called to him, he jumped out, long legs carrying him out to where the brunette was and he nodded, "Okay...let's go." He patted Apollo on the head once more before he let Delilah exit his apartment first then he locked the door behind them, tucking the keys in his pocket. Deli had one too of course, but hey, it was called manners. Heading out into the streets with Delilah, Owen inquired, "W-want to walk?" He didn't mind whether they walked or drove to the forest, though seeing as they probably wouldn't be back for awhile, he was honestly good either way. Probably walk would be the best, as his apartment was located moderately close to the forest. Thank goodness. Owen blinked silently and looked to Delilah, waiting for something to happen. There was never a dull moment with her, but he enjoyed that. A lot. It was quite refreshing and always kept his attention easily locked onto her, as with his mind running, it caused his attention to slip a lot. Not with physics, and not with Delilah. "Why did you want to go to the forest?"

was going to bring up suddenly stood like a stone as you stood quietly you're making it hard for me - - - - - - - - - ► all i can do is freeze Just like Delilah had thought Owen jumped and then got in defensive mode. Then once he saw that Delilah had jumped back as well he just shook his head and sighed. A relieved smile tugged on Delilah’s lips when she saw Owen smiling as well. Then he spoke saying, “You do…remember we heal fast…?” Delilah laughed and nodded. “Of course I remember, silly moose. I was just testing to see if it hurt. Now I know it does. My experiment is complete.” She answered smiling big. Crossing her legs at the ankles she leaned back slightly and blinked at him a few time with her usual big smile planted unto her pink lips. “See, Mr. Collins, I can talk smart like you.” Delilah teased ruffling Owen’s hair as she did so. Delilah loved to mess with his hair for a few reasons. The first reason was that it was so easy to play with because it was kept nice and clean, which Delilah liked. Delilah would have hated to live with one of those guys that barely ever showered and smelled terrible. Luckily Owen no way near that kind of guy, thank God. Her second reason was that she didn’t think Owen liked it all too much. He put extra work into his hair, more than the regular guy. Delilah had always found it extremely cute that he straightened his midnight hair every other day or so. Straight hair did look good on him though. Delilah liked his hair a lot. Not only was it cute, but it was just so easy to play with. Owen never guarded his hair from her attacks…what a fool. If he wasn’t careful one day she would most likely try and dye it just to see what he’d do. That was just the kind of person Delilah was. She was always pushing limits to see how far she could go. She hadn’t hit a limit yet with Owen, which she liked. It meant she could continue doing her daily bothering. Oh how she loved to bother him. Of course it wasn’t just her bothering him, he attempted to bother her back and honestly he succeeded in most attempts. But he bothering her only made her want to bother him more. It was quite amusing for others to watch the two go back and forth. Many people thought the two were together, which was a question they received many a time. They would always have to explain that they were best friends and roommates, nothing else. Of course Delilah wanted something else and she would never be angry if Owen did tell someone they were dating, but she knew that Owen would never say that. That was okay with her…for now. Hopefully one day they could actually tell people that they were dating, but she didn’t know when that day would arrive. Until it did though Delilah just planned to secretly adore him as she had been doing for a great deal of time.
“H-how did you know I was lying? W-what if I wasn’t?” Owen said in response to Delilah saying that she wouldn’t believe his lies. Delilah laughed slightly and shook her head. She looked at Owen smiling gently and said, “Oh come on, Owen. I’ve lived with you for two years and we’re best friends. I always know when you’re lying. You can’t lie to me, wolfie. You just can’t.” She winked at him and then giggled. Then she began to eat her AH-MAZING pancakes happily wishing that she had more. Of course she wasn’t going to ask Owen because she didn’t want him to have to do more for her. She definitely wasn’t going to die of hunger if she didn’t get an extra stack flap jacks with chocolate chips. She just wanted an extra stack because they were AH-MAZING, but she’d live…hopefully. Then she turned to Owen when he said, “Ha…ha.” Delilah punched him lightly in the arm and teased, “ No need for fake laughter because I’m hilarious. You can admit, I don’t mind.” Then her nose was coated in flour and she giggled. Rubbing it off she threatened Owen smiling. At her threat his eyes were as big as the moon, which was always entertaining. In response he didn’t say anything, he only waggled his finger at her. It was silent threat. How endearing. He was too embarrassed to speak. That was cute. Then to threaten him back she pretend to go in to bite his finger, but of course she didn’t bite it. Smiling at Owen goofily she stood up and then set her plate and silver ware into the sink. Then she went to the bathroom and teased Owen saying not to peek. As she closed the door she saw Owen stiffen up and narrow his eyes. Delilah laughed loudly and then took her shower. Then she went through the usual morning bathroom ritual. This ritual included teeth brushing, face cleaning, hair brushing, etc. Then when she opened the door, with her fluffy white towel wrapped around her body, she accidently ran into Owen who looked petrified. Delilah giggled then skipped off into her room. Then once she was finished getting dressed and put her shoes on she walked out of her room and told Owen that she was ready. “Okay…let’s go. He responded patting Apollo on the head. Delilah petted Apollo once more and then exited the apartment with Owen. Of course Owen being the gentleman he was, he let Delilah go out first and then locked the door behind them. Then Owen asked, “W-want to walk?” Delilah nodded with a big smile. “Of course I do. I feel it useless to pollute the air with our car exhaust for just a few measly miles. Also I could use some exercise, I don’t want to get flabby.” She smiled and looped her arm with his. She began to walk with him with her arm still looped with his. She smiled up at him and then started to feel like skipping. She suppressed the urge though because she didn’t want to go too much ahead of Owen because she doubted he’d skip with her. He never did, which was a shame. Skipping was a nice way to travel in her opinion. Then Owen questioned her saying, “Why did you want to go to the forest?” Delilah looked at him and shrugged. “ We haven’t gone to the forest in human form in awhile. I know we go when we’re all wolfified, but I thought you’d just like to go. Also I love the forest. It’s nice. Oh and I thought you should get some fresh air. I know that you’re graduating soon and you’ve been working so hard that I thought you deserved to relax a little.” Delilah answered smiling big.

Lies. Yeah right. Even if they had grown up together, Owen highly doubted he could still lie to her. Or lie to anyone for that matter. Especially someone like Cade for instance, or Delilah. Blue eyes shifted and he glanced back to her quietly. She did have her antics though, torturing him one way or another. He got her back. He always made sure he did somehow. One way was just by little pranks, such as giving her a cold shower for a few moments and him acting like it wasn't him, or just little pranks like that was usually how Owen got his karma served. Grinning lightly, the wolf inhaled slowly as they exited his apartment. Yes, he was certainly glad Delilah had picked today to go to the forest, it was absolutely gorgeous out. After having had her mess with his hair though, Owen pouted silently, then pulled on the looser part of his shirt that could be a hood if he worked it, and he pulled it up and on over his head, giving Delilah a silent, victory-look face. Oh yes. Definitely. She messed with his hair occasionally, but Owen had never really let it bother him. Like it seemed with most things Delilah did. They were...cute interesting. His mind corrected itself quickly, then he commented, "As for talking smart," he teased, pulling something out, "Quantum entanglement shows that two things can transfer information at faster than light speeds...did you hear about that?" he spat, having read that in someone else's thesis he had been reading to help support some of his own findings.
He fell silent though, strolling next to her, their arms linked as she mused about getting flabby. He had to chuckle. It was...funny to him in his own little way, "Flabby? Deli...you getting flabby would be like..." his lips twitched, "Me begin to..hate physics." He doubted she ever would. They moved a lot, they always walked a lot, and plus Delilah just didn't sit around like he could all the time, she sometimes even offered to clean up stuff, even if it wasn't hers. For the reason why, Owen wasn't sure - he's probably just oblivious, actually no, he is - but he appreciated it. Even if the things weren't always hers, but he did a pretty good job, they each pulled their own weight and they both paid the rent. What more could he want out of their relati-friendship? He was pretty sure, yeah, pretty sure he was just fine where he was now. Shaking those thoughts away, Owen then took his hood off his Deli hadn't already done it for him. The werewolf then scowled as he then thought about graduation. Ugh. That was coming up so soon, and he felt the slight panic spike inside him for a moment when he thought about it. His project was nearly done though, and he only had about a week to finish it. Grimacing slightly, he looked to Delilah, "Thanks."
At her smile he couldn't help but smile back. It was contagious if he said so himself. Sighing softly, a sigh that echoed his internal thoughts, just pensive, Owen then keenly looked to Delilah as they continued walking before he inquired, "What...about a party tonight? There's this club where...we're all welcome." What he meant by "we" of course was supernaturals. They got to do what they pleased in this club, as long as they didn't cause a ruckus. Humans of course too, but only really the ones that didn't really mind if they caught the look of someone with purple eyes like a witch or someone sucking someone else's blood. Though supernaturals of course, like he and Deli knew how to behave themselves, except on a full moon of course. Twitching slightly, Owen then poked Delilah with his free arm and commented, "Tell me Deli...." he tilted his head slightly, "Will you come to my graduation?" he grinned shyly, "You know...perhaps see me fall over my own two feet?" It was interesting though, Owen was also so much more eloquent and fluid as a wolf. Delilah though, she was always a good walker, balance, fluid movements unlike him. He blamed his height. Moose or whatever nickname Delilah called him seemed to fit, whatever she called him. Glancing towards an older couple, the woman gave both him and Delilah a familiar smile he recognized among people who thought they were together, sending him into silence, but nonetheless he knew there couldn't be silence between him and Delilah, and he didn't mind it that way.

“As for talking smart, quantum entanglement shows that two things can transfer information at faster than light speeds…did you hear about that?” Owen teased and Delilah’s dark eyes were as big as saucers. First off what in the world was the quantum entanglement? It sounded like a math knot or something. It was confusing for sure. Delilah wasn’t even really sure how to respond to such a comment. After a few moments of confusion she just laughed and shook her head. “ You’re such a nerd, Owen. I hope you know that.” She teased. Delilah smiled and looked ahead as they sauntered along. Delilah wondered what Owen would say this time in return to her calling him a nerd. She called him that quite a lot and if was always entertaining to see his responses. Owen knew he was nerd, but he was a completely lovable one though. Owen often liked to call him awedorkable. Well Delilah didn’t think she ever told him that she thought that he was awedorkable, but she sure did think it. Owen would probably get really confused or just really freaked out by her calling him that. So she decided to keep that thought to herself. But it was true. He was a very adorable dork. Yes, he was awkward and loved physics, but Delilah loved that about him. He was definitely original. There was no doubting that. Delilah had never met someone quite like him. She had tried, but Owen was uncopyable. One of a kind through and through for sure. Then in response to Delilah talking about getting flabby Owen started to chuckle. She guessed that it was kind of funny. Then he said, “Flabby? Deli…you getting flabby would be like…me beginning to…hate physics.” Delilah laughed and leaned on him slightly. She looked up at his bright blue eyes that seemed like they had to be fake. They were memorizing and beautiful. When they first met that was the first thing she looked at when she met him when she was on the streets. He was her saving grace. He had saved her. Who knew where she would have been if she hadn’t met Owen. She probably would have died of hunger, the cold, or by a hunter. She owed him so much, yet she had no idea how to pay him back. She tried to help him around the house like paying rent, buying food, helping him clean up, and helping him study. Still, it didn’t seem like enough. She would keep trying though. She would keep trying until she felt that she had paid him back. When that day would come she didn’t know. Probably a long, long, long time from now. “I know I know, but it’s good to go out anyway. It was just so pretty. I couldn’t resist coming out. I love the forest.” She said in response still looking up at him with a small smile enchanting her pink lips. Then as she explained why she wanted to go to the forest she saw him scowl. Had she done something wrong? Was he angry with her? Then he said, “Thanks.” She bit her lip and looked at him with worried dark eyes. “Are you okay? Did I say something?” She said concerned. Maybe he was just worried. She replayed what she had said in her brain and realized she had spoken about his graduation. Was he worried about that? Poor Owen. He had been working so hard on his big graduation project. Delilah tried to help, but sometimes he just didn’t want any help. It made her sad to see him so worried and stressed. The worst thing was that she couldn’t go and help him. He had to do this by himself, but if he wanted her help she would always be there for him. The only time she was without him was when she went out to bars and clubs. That just really wasn’t Owen’s scene. Delilah doubted he had ever drunken alcohol before. Delilah on the other hand had. She actually drank it quite a lot. Not around Owen of course. But when she went to the clubs with her friends she did. Delilah wasn’t an alcoholic, but she liked to have some fun. It was just part of who she was. She was always a fun loving partier, but she was also an bubbly nature girl. Confusing? Maybe, but that was Delilah for you. Delilah then felt better as Owen smiled with her. It was very relieving. She liked to see him smile. It brightened up a room in her opinion. “What…about a party tonight? There’s this club where…we’re all welcome.” Owen commented. Delilah’s eyes grew to the size of saucer and her mouth when agape. “A…A club? You? Owen Jesse Collins wants to go to a club? Tonight? With me? A club” She said not believing her ears. She stopped him in his tracks and put the back of her and on his forehead with a little difficulty because she was just so tall. She kept her hand there for a few moments seeing if he had a fever. No, he was fine. Strange. “You don’t feel warm. Owen are you serious?” She asked still not believing him. Delilah never thought that she would be able to take Owen to a club. She was worried about what might happen. What if he got drunk? Oh my, that would be terrible. What if some girl tried to seduce him? He was too innocent for that. Way too innocent for that kind of stuff. She hoped that nothing wanted to go she would take him, but would make sure to keep him safe. He was her best friend and no one would was going to harm him while she was around. She sighed and ran a hand through her semi dry hair that was drying curly now. “ If you really want to go, we’ll go.” She decided. She didn’t want to disappoint him, but she didn’t want something bad to happen tonight. Tonight would either be a lot of fun or a lot of trouble. Then Owen said with a shy grin, “Tell me Deli…. Will you come to my graduation? You know…perhaps see me fall over my own two feet?” Delilah laughed and smiled up at him. “I would love to come to your graduation. Honestly, I was probably going to make you take me anyway. Wait are your parents coming? I never met them.” She replied her smile growing more and more. Her dark eyes sparkled with happiness. She honestly doubted that Owen would fall over, but honestly she wouldn’t be surprised if he did. He was pretty tall and it made him kind of clumsy sometimes. Not a lot, but slightly. But when he was a wolf he was graceful and walked powerful. He was confident. Then Delilah saw Owen looking at some elderly woman who was smiling at them. People were always doing that. Almost everyone thought they were dating, which Delilah didn’t mind too much. She smiled back at the woman and waved to her slightly. Delilah loved talking to strangers even though that was kind of bad. She wouldn’t help it. She liked talking to people. It was just who she was and how she was born. Then she realized that there was a silence and then smiled at a idea she had. She unlinked her arms with Owen and backtracked a couple steps. Then she ran towards him and jumped on his back. “Piggy back ride!” She exclaimed wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist. She looked down and bit her lip. “Wow, it’s different up here. So this is what it’s like to be tall.” She said looking around.

Upon spitting out the fact he'd read, the werewolf looked curiously to Delilah to watch her reaction. He grinned innocently noticing her look, a look of determination and curiosity settling onto her features. Well, she certainly had a cute face when she thought about something, attempting to figure it out. When she spoke and called him something that should have been his middle name, Owen grinned boyishly, "Please." he mused, "Tell me something I don't know." Too bad his parents hadn't really honestly given him that name. Owen wasn't that bad, but Jesse for his middle name? Well, he figured it would be worse. It could be something horribly old-fashioned, as he wasn't sure where Owen ranked in the age thing, so fortunately his name seemed to suit him. Unlike one teacher who liked that their students all tell her their middle names and then she learned their names like that. So he had to go by Jesse for a full school year in third grade. Ridiculous woman, he had scolded her when he got older. Owen's attention never wavered from Delilah, having realized his pace had picked up slightly and he immediately calmed it down, wanting to make sure Delilah could easily keep up and not have to rush or walk faster to be able to keep up with him. Last thing he wanted to do was to put her into an uncomfortable situation. No way. He'd rather...he wasn't sure, eat something and get food poisoning for a week rather than hurt Delilah in any way shape or form.
The moment of course Delilah leaned into him slightly, Owen certainly hadn't been expecting that. He didn't mind of course, as he just continued, letting her do as she pleased as long as she didn't do anything horribly out of the blue to him, he'd tolerate everything just fine. It was amusing though when he thought about the first time she had done stuff, taunted him. He hadn't known what to expect from her becoming his roommate, and at first he was glad he had invited her in, but in the beginning it hadn't been as easy as it was now. Definitely more awkward, and he definitely avoided her a lot more. He'd work on his project endlessly and keep Apollo out of his study as well to help keep Delilah distracted. Which was also when he discovered she certainly liked to move around. A lot. Which now Owen was glad she did, that meant they could do basically whatever they wanted about ninety percent of the time. He chuckled lightly as she confessed she loved the forest, "Isn't that like...a requirement of being a wolf?" he taunted, giving her a gentle nudge with his arm that was hooked with hers, before pausing as he smelled something wonderful. Looking around eagerly, he poked Delilah, "Smell that?" God it smelled delicious, he'd need to try some of it later.
Tucking that thought away as they pressed on, he saw her worried look and felt his stomach churn, then send butterflies into his system. She was worried over something. Wait..him? She was looking at him after all. He shook his head, "Oh no it's just...the whole thing." He wasn't horribly worried about it, he had the balance, but most of the time just because he was...him, things sometimes didn't work out correctly or quite the way he wanted them to. Stuffing his hand opposite of Delilah into his pocket on his jeans, the wolf then jerked to a stop when she did. What the hell? Looking to her with wide eyes, he was about to open his mouth and voice what she was thinking, or why she had jerked them to a stop, but the moment she spoke, and her hand found his forehead, he had his answer. Oh, a club. Ha. Wrinkling his nose slightly, the wolf let her do her thing. Touch his forehead, causing his temperature to spike slightly anyway, then her comment on being serious. Did he look like he was kidding? Shooting her a light look, the wolf shrugged softly. He wasn't too worried about going out to a club. He'd been to...a few before. They weren't necessarily his places, but Delilah went there, how horrible could they be? No, that was a lie. They could be horrible, but that didn't mean that they actually were.
Besides he figured, if Delilah was there, then how bad could it be? Being a wolf had its perks too, that meant they usually had a higher tolerance to alcohol as well. "I'd..like to." he grinned weakly, shyly, "Only live once." Plus he wanted to see how Delilah was at a club, not to mention probably need to keep an eye on her as he could only imagine other guys. His features contorted into annoyance for a moment at someone hurting Delilah, or..flirting leading her on. "I want to, as long as you want to." he commented quickly, though he kind of figured Delilah would go, he still wanted to be positive she was just fine doing it, going to the club with him. Suddenly mentioning his graduation, the werewolf grinned uneasily and nodded upon her inquiring about his parents, "Yeah umm..my parents and my brother will be coming here too." He sighed. Aidan, his older brother. He loved his older brother, but they were also competing in a sense. Not horribly so, but enough to the point that well - certainly one of them would always make sure they could help each other out of they needed it to.
"You'd like my mom...she's a lot like you." Owen chuckled lightly. She was, though Delilah had darker eyes, his mom had the blue eyes like he and Aidan did. His father was the only one with dark eyes out of the immediate family. Owen did like Deli's eyes though. They were so bright, and he doubted he couldn't see any other brown eyes like hers the rest of the time he was on this earth. His thoughts were put on pause when Delilah suddenly vanished. Frowning, he looked around and then grunted when she suddenly tackled him - from behind. A piggy back ride? Instinctively hooking his arms with her legs to help support her and make it easier on him, Owen sighed and hung his head slightly, shaking it, a light grin melting onto his features. "Awkward." he commented on her inquiry about his height. Pressing on, they soon arrived and Owen moved smoothly along the path, "Lemme know when you want down, Deli." He turned upon hearing a nearby river, and grinned deviously, remembering that from last night, he and Delilah had come to the river and messed around in the water before going off and hunting together. Owen brushed against a tree, causing Deli to get rubbed against it slightly, "Oh...sorry." he grinned lightly. "Well, how does it feel to be short? A-t least...this way I can find people.'

was going to bring up suddenly stood like a stone as you stood quietly you're making it hard for me - - - - - - - - - ► all i can do is freeze Delilah smiled with him as he said, “Please, tell me something I don’t know.” Delilah bit her lip and saw this as a challenge. Now she had to figure something out that he wouldn’t know. Then the perfect thing came into her head. With a confident smile she looked at him and said, “The elephant is the only mammal that can’t jump.” She bit her lip and then looked away from him feeling satisfied. She was almost positive that Owen didn’t know that fact. It was quite weird and unimportant so why would he know it? The real question was why did Delilah know this little fact? She had heard it once and remembered it. Why did she remember it? Delilah had no idea. Sometimes she just remembered things that were pointless and that no one cared about. She remembered that kind of stuff a lot. She wasn’t sure why, but she did. It was fun to know stuff like that sometimes, but then again it was kind of bad. Even though Delilah remembered pointless things she sometimes had a lot of problems remembering important things like math equations. Oh God…math. Her greatest enemy. It had been her enemy since she started school. Number just weren’t her friend. She hated them and they hated her. They almost flunked her, but somehow she was able to cram in enough knowledge to get her through her years at school. Never again would she go through a math class, not even if you paid the girl. Now of days her excuse was that numbers gave her hives or mono. Which either one she felt like using at the moment. It changed from day to day.
“Isn’t that like…a requirement of being a wolf?” He teased nudging her with their hooked arms. Delilah smiled and nudged him back. “I guess you could say that. I’ve always liked the forests around her and nature. I mean I’ve like nature before I was changed, but I guess my love became stronger after I was changed. That’s why I like being a wolf I guess.” She said smiling as she looked ahead. The forest was coming close, not too far away now. Her smile grew and grew as the neared her beloved sanctuary. Then Owen’s voice caught her interest and she turned her head again. Smell that? He asked. Delilah’s eyes fluttered close and she inhaled. She smelled a mixture of cinnamon, vanilla, and chocolate. She opened her eyes and looked to where the smell was coming from. It was a bakery. One that she had gone to with Owen a few times before. It was quaint and quite lovely to say the least. A smile spread across her face and she looked at Owen excited. “We should pick up some cupcakes from there later. It smells amazing in there. Also it was very good the last time we went there. Remember that, Owen?” She inquired with excited dark eyes. She blinked a few times and then turned back to the road with her still big smile painted unto her pink lips.
“Oh no it’s just…the whole thing.” He said settling her nerves. Looking at him the worried slowly draining from her eyes she bit her lip. “I’ll help you if you want. I know I’m not a physics expert, but I want to help. I hate the feeling that I’m a burden. So if you need any help I’m in the other room.” She said completely serious. “Do you promise to do that? I don’t want you to over stress yourself, wolfie.” Oh God, she felt like a mother again. Delilah tended to become maternal and protective over the ones she cared about. She never meant to do it, she just did. Actually, she hated that she did that. She couldn’t change it though. It was physically impossible. It just came out at random. Changing that part of her was like trying to change her hair color without hair dye or anything, just by sheer will power. Yes, it was impossible. It was sad, but then again some people appreciated it while others detested it. But whether they liked it or not that was Delilah. She was who she was whether she liked it or not. Then after Owen requested to come to a club with her she checked if he had a fever. He didn’t though. He was fever free and completely healthy. Strange. “I’d…like to. Only live once.” He said with another shy grin that seemed like what he was always doing lately. It was cute all the same though. “O-okay. Umm..okay. If you want to.” She said still surprised. She just never pegged Owen as a club go-er, but maybe there was a beginning for everything. Then again she didn’t want him to change. She liked how he was. It was adorable, quirky, and him. That was why she fell for him. He wasn’t like any other guy she had met. He never tried to sleep with her, hit on her, or even tried to date her. That was why Delilah liked him. He was innocent and made her cling to whatever innocence she had left. He made life fun for Delilah, but in a way that no one else could. “I want to, as long as you want to.” Delilah shook her head wanting Owen to know that she did want him to come. “ I do want you to come, don’t get me wrong. I’m just worried about you. I just get protective over people I care about. You can come with me. We’ll have fun.” She said putting on a smile so he knew that she was serious and happy about it.
“Yeah ummm..my parents and my brother will be coming here too.” he said in response to Delilah asking if his family was going to come. She smiled at this sentence and said, “Good. I always wanted to meet them. Is your brother like you? I know that sometimes sibling are very different like mine…were.” Delilah said stilling smiling even though it hurt to talk about her siblings. Things had just gone so horrible between them. She hoped Owen’s relationship with his brother wasn’t anything like hers with Beth or Hayden. Well her relationship with Hayden wasn’t bad, but it was bad with Beth. Beth was a hunter and killed people like her for a living so you could guess that their relationship was definitely lacking. It sucked, but Delilah tried not to dwell on that. Then her thoughts were stopped by Owen’s voice saying, “You’d like my mom..she’s a lot like you.” Delilah smiled at that and bit her lip. “Really? Now I really want to meet her.” She said smiling from ear to ear. Maybe because Delilah was like his mother his family would like her. She was always afraid that his family wouldn’t like her and that they wouldn’t approve of her being his roommate or friend. Now she was almost positive that they’d like her. This was a very good thing. One less thing Delilah had to worry about in her life. Then Delilah jumped unto Owen’s back and yelled for a piggy back ride. Thankfully she received her request and hooked his arms with her legs. Smiling she began to hum her favorite song. Yes, Delilah could sing, quite well actually. Delilah loved music with all her heart. It was one of her favorite things to do. She sang quite a lot and Owen knew that. She was always singing around the house. “Awkward.” He said in response to her talking about his height. Delilah laughed and teased in a girly high pitched voice that wasn’t her own, “You’re one to be talking Mr. “Oh you’re so awkward, that’s cute.” She giggled and knew that she had won. Almost every girl that met Owen had said that to him. It was quite annoying actually. Who was ignorant enough to say that to someone? But what could she do? She wasn’t his girlfriend…sadly. “Lemme know when you want down, Deli.” He said kindly as they entered the forest. She nodded and said, “Okie dokie, wolfie.” Then as they walked Owen by accident rubbed her against the rough bark of the tree. She closed her eyes tight due to discomfort and then he said, “Oh…sorry.” Then because she felt like being dramatic she exclaimed, “YOU INJURED ME! HOW DARE YOU! I’M GOING TO DIE NOW! KISS IT BETTER!” She held out her arm that was now pink and skinned a bit. It barely hurt, but she felt like being dramatic because she was like that. It was her thing. Then she started laughing when Owen said, “Well, how does it feel to be short? A-at least…this way I can find people.” She pouted and said, “Hey, I’m not that short, wolfie.”

Personally he was quite excited to see what Delilah had up her sleeve. He expected her to have something that he wasn't expecting or wouldn't expect from her anyway. Just because she did happen to be a bit younger, well - suddenly the moment she spoke, Owen paused, giving her a look as if to say he didn't believe her. Elephants couldn't jump? Okay, he knew he had heard that before, but he could see the logic now he supposed, when he actually thought about it with their combined weight and their four knees. Tilting his head curiously, Owen shrugged, "I could see that. I've heard of it, but never checked it out." he teased, "Maybe...when Aidan goes to Africa...I can have him check it out for us." Owen chuckled lightly. Aidan was the big traveler out of the two of them, the one that got to go everywhere. Owen would like that, but he would also like to be able to settle down, you know - actually be able to know his neighbors and not be stuck in school most of the days. Blue eyes darkened slightly in thought. That would be nice. Though he wasn't sure how the whole werewolf thing would go over, therefore possibly a house towards say, the edge of town would be better for him and who-ever, more privacy and that way all they had to do really was just walk out of their house, onto their back porch and they were good to go. Hmm, he though solemnly. Owen kept that in mind for if he decided to move out of his apartment. Right now it was a nice place though, decent rent - he got a college student discount, but not for much longer. So maybe it would be time to move on soon, the only thing was, would Deli go with him? In the back of his mind, he really hoped she would.
Listening to her comment on nature, Owen shrugged, "I like it as long as it doesn't give me hives or something. Or poison ivy." he shivered. It had almost happened to him once, but Aidan had gotten it instead. Well, Owen had been a wolf at the time and Aidan had turned back into a human. Grinning sheepishly, Owen then looked to Delilah, "I will agree though." Turning to the bakery they had past, Owen inhaled slowly. God he loved the smell of fresh-baked bakery items. Absolutely wonderful. Shivering slightly, he nodded, "Of course." Just what the city needed, two werewolves all hyped up on sugar for the night. At least it wasn't the full moon so the worst thing they did was just shift in the middle of the dark street and run to the forest, messing around on the concrete while they did. Ugh. Owen then grunted when he had been entering the forest, shifting Delilah, making sure she wouldn't slip from his hands or anything. "Of course, Deli." he promised. He'd appreciate her help a lot. "I do believe...t-there are a few things you can help me with." Owen grinned lightly and nodded. Course about the club though, he would be honest, he wasn't sure what compelled him to ask her to go to a club with him. Perhaps it had just been a slip of his tongue. Owen had only been to a club..probably three times before, once with Cade, another with Aidan, and then the other time with a few guys from college, but he hadn't stayed more than twenty minutes that time, so that one really couldn't count.
"Sort of. He's a lot more...squirmy than I am." Owen chuckled slightly, "But he...was on the Speech team, so he's a lot better at talking...than I am." Owen shrugged, "My parents would probably adore you." He chuckled softly, he knew his father would give him the father look like he had given Aidan when Aidan brought home his girlfriend who originally was from China. Nevertheless, Owen loved his family, and especially his brother, who happened to only be two years older than him. Thank goodness. "You'd like him...but he's more direct than I would ever be." Owen pretty much lacked the confidence Aidan did, but that was just because Aidan had given up on the whole "being labeled as geniuses" when they were 14 and 16. Owen had taken it, probably because he had been younger, but Aidan once he got out of college was all, "psh, please." So Owen prayed he got to be a little more like his brother once he was out on his own. His head sagged in defeat when she brought up the whole, "awkward, that's cute" thing about 99 percent of the girls he ever met said to him. And to his face too. He wasn't sure if Deli no - she hadn't come right out and said that, but she did have her little ways of poking fun at him.
He just repaid her in pranks. The wolf didn't bother to respond to her, he'd admit defeat. Once in awhile. This happened to be it. Getting deeper into the woods, as he heard her suddenly raise her voice and go all drama queen on him, Owen shook his head, his arms loosening on her legs, "Oh no..." he set her down and took a few steps away from her, raising his hands in front of him, "No." Quirking an eyebrow at her statement on not being short, Owen grinned impishly, "Hmm..." he approached her, his back straight and he looked down to the pretty brunette in front of him, "I-I think it matters on...your perspective." he teased, stepping away and gesturing for her to come along. He wasn't worried about her arm, by the time they got done walking around here it would be healed. A perk of being a werewolf. Owen ran a hand down his hair anxiously, looking around curiously, wondering if there would happen to be any other werewolves out here just enjoying this day. Most likely, but at least they wouldn't need to worry about a fight or anything ridiculous today. Owen's eyes landed on Delilah's darker ones, "If..I may ask.." he paused, "What about your....siblings?" she'd mentioned once before she had had two, though she hadn't spoken much about them, therefore he added then, "Only if you want to."

“I could see that. I’ve heard of it, but never checked it out. Maybe…when Aidan goes to Africa…I can have him check it out for you.” Owen said with a chuckle. Delilah giggled along with him and looked at him shaking his head a bit. “Your brother will think you’re crazy if you ask him to see if elephants can jump.” She laughed nudging him lightly in the arm. Glancing up at him once she smiled a little bigger. Did Owen ever want to go abroad like his brother, Aidan? If he did what places would he like? Delilah could see Owen either wanting to go to Asia or Europe. Maybe Asia. Delilah wouldn’t mind going with him, but she didn’t want to ask if he ever did go somewhere. She didn’t want to impose. Maybe if she was lucky he’d ask her to go with him. Her only fear was that he’d out grow her one day or that when he graduated he’d buy a new house and Delilah would be left alone. Delilah feared this more than dying. She didn’t want to be left alone. It scared her. Not living with him was like her not being a werewolf. She had grown so used to it that now she couldn’t even think of living without it. Would Owen ever doing this to her though? Delilah didn’t really think so, but there were always those doubts. She never knew what Owen was really feeling about her. She could only hope that they were only good things. She didn’t know if she could live with herself if Owen thought badly of her. What if he really hated her, but was only acting nice because he was just that kind of person. Oh that would kill her. Completely and utterly kill her on the inside and outside. Wait. Why was she thinking of this? This was Owen. The sweet, awkward, werewolf that was her best friend and didn’t hate her. She knew that. She had to trust in their friendship and that Owen wouldn’t think of her like that. She trusted him and she trusted in their friendship. Then out of the blue she asked, “ Are you ever going to travel like your brother?” Directly after she felt kind of stupid for asking, but just let it go. She did want to her the answer to the question. She was very interested in what the answer would me.
“I like it as long as it doesn’t give me hives or something. Or poison ivy. I do agree though” Owen said. Delilah laughed and nodded in agreement. “ I agree with you, wolfie. Poison ivy sucks! I got it a couple times as a kid. Worst time of my life.” She told him laughing a bit at herself. Running a hand through her hair she watched the bakery and kept inhaling its scent. It smelled amazing. It always did. That was why Delilah loved it so much. Then after asking if they could get something from there later Owen said, “Of course.” Delilah smiled from ear to ear and said happily, “Yeah! Awesomesauce! Delilah is happy now! Cupcakes rock my sock and tie my shoes! Wait. Can we get red velvet cupcakes? They’re my favorite!” Delilah had a secret love for cupcakes. Especially when it came to red velvet cupcakes. Delilah couldn’t help herself. They were just so yummy! With a very big smile she adjusted herself on his back so she comfortable and so he was comfortable as well. Then Owen said. “Of course, Deli. I do believe…t-there are a few things you can help me with. “ Delilah then smiled even bigger. She was glad that she could help him and not feel like a burden. “Yay! I’ll be the best helper you’ve ever had. I just hope I don’t blow up the apartment with your experiments.” She joked with a happy smile. Honestly, she was worried about blowing something up. Knowing Delilah and her luck she probably would be just that. But then again with Owen around she probably wouldn’t blow anything up. Now if she was alone and playing around with stuff she probably would, but she would never do that. She was too smart for that. No, she wasn’t a genius like Owen, but she wasn’t stupid. She had actually received high marks in school. Was she going to college? No she wasn’t, but for reasons. One of them being that she simply didn’t have the money. She had a job, but it wasn’t enough to go to any kind of college. It just wasn’t going to happen. Sadly she didn’t have the money that her parents had saved up for her. So what was going to do with her life? If she was lucky enough she was going to do something with music, but right now she had no idea. That was okay with her for now though.
“Sort of He’s a lot more…squirmy than I am. But he…was on the Speech team, so he’s a lot better at talking…than I am. My parents would probably adore you.” Owen said talking about Aidan and his family. Delilah smiled as he heard Owen say that his parents would probably adore her. That was reassuring. “ Well I can’t wait to meet them. They sound nice. ” She said smiling. “Well Aidan sounds nice. I can’t wait to meet me either.” She added. Then Owen said, “You’d like him…but he’s more direct than I would ever be.” Delilah frowned and looked at him. “ Even if I like Aidan I’ll always like you better, wolfie. Remember that.” She said smiling at him. She knew what it was like to feel less than someone. Sometimes around the very pretty Beth and the gentleman Hayden she felt a little less. Then after she went all drama queen on Owen he set her down and said, “Oh no…” Delilah pouted and said, “I was only kidding, Owen.” She said. Soon she smiled again then watched as he neared her. No. Hmm…I-I think it matters on…your perspective. He teased. Delilah laughed and hit him on arm lightly. “You’re a butt munch, wolfie. You really are.” She said smiling big. Then as they walked she heard Owen say, “If..I may ask..What about your…siblings? Only if you want to.” Delilah swallowed uneasily and wondered where to start. “It’s fine, Owen. I understand. Well I have two siblings. One girl, one boy. We’re triplets. The girl is named Beth and the guy is named Hayden. Beth was very shy and a bookworm. She’s very pretty with light brown hair and very blue eyes. You’d think she was pretty. A lot of guys liked her, but she never believed me when I told her. She was sweet girl, but now she’s a hunter. She thinks I’m dead. I haven’t talked to her in two years. Hayden on the other hand is very musical and a completely gentleman. He had all the girls lining up when we were in high school, but he was in love with some girl named Mira. We all sang together a lot. Hayden was killed by a werewolf though and died. He’s an angel now and I talk to him sometimes, but not a lot. He’s very busy with his charge and Mira. That’s my siblings.” She said with a forced smile.

Owen chuckled softly as she mentioned his brother thinking him to be crazy if he asked him that. Well, Aidan already thought that Owen was crazy - in his own little way. Mainly because Aidan had managed to shed the skin Owen seemed to be stuck in when Aidan had shed it by the time he was Owen's age. Now though, Aidan just kept an eye out for his younger brother, and with his travel coming to an end soon, that would mean Aidan would be around so much more, and longer too. The wolf shrugged, "Well, he already thinks I am to an extent." Owen grinned innocently. He could see though a slight shift in Delilah's look, especially after she asked about him traveling abroad as well. Was that...worry he saw? No, he doubted it. Delilah did worry, but she wouldn't worry about him that much, it wasn't like Delilah loved him or anything. No, they were best of friends, and roommates, and in a sense, a bit of a pack sense going on when they shifted as well. Just made them closer. Though as he thought about Delilah, his thoughts traveled to Vivienne for a few moments. What was she doing? His heart hammered in his chest, as if telling him not to be stupid between his decision-making skills. They weren't the best, but that didn't mean they sucked either. Owen...he groaned slightly. No, he would not get himself depressed in a time like this. "I honestly don't know." He responded softly, his voice quiet, though his thoughts were quite the opposite. He'd love to travel abroad, but he wouldn't certainly want to do it alone. Aidan didn't, he had his girlfriend. Would Owen find someone he wanted to take?
He looked to Delilah. He'd like to take her, her and that irresistibly smelling shampoo she always used. Made him wonder if she knew he could smell it as well as he could. Most likely. But God did he like it. It was a little quirk about Delilah in a sense, her smell, it was nice, refreshing. No, he stamped out his ideas and thoughts and just continued walking, letting his senses get engulfed by the forest and what it offered to his senses. Owen laughed as she mentioned red velvet cupcakes, "Course. Whatever flavors you want." He didn't care, he certainly wasn't picky. Red velvet, vanilla, angel food cake, whatever they were in the end they were cupcakes. Though when Delilah referred to herself in the third person, Owen faked a concerned look, blue eyes locking onto her. Deli and her antics. Adorable. Owen's eyes blinked in surprise when she brought up the idea of blowing up his apartment. Grinning lightly, Owen shook his head, "I'll be right there....no blowing anything up. The worst thing that could happen with the coils would be...well, we just get shocked and stay in the hospital awhile." he grinned sheepishly. The wolf did get curious about Deli sometimes, what she wanted to do with her future.
The only reason he got to go to college really was one, financial aid - thank god for that - a little bit of money from his parents, then also all the tests and going into physics apparently offered scholarships a lot too. Cocking his head curiously at her calling him a "butt munch", he inquired, 'What's....that?" He then jumped over a log, about two feet over it in the air, and landed smoothly, continuing to walk near Delilah. "Good...besides...he's got a girlfriend anyway." Owen commented, hardly realizing how that sounded. He didn't realize it because Deli had started talking. About her siblings. As she spoke about them, mentioning they were triplets, of all things, Owen was surprised to find that out, before he then heard her bring up her sister being a hunter and brother being an angel. Whoa. The last one he hadn't expected, even if he knew of angels. Well, guardian ones and the archangels and just the...basic angels. Nodding silently, his hand brushed Deli's arm in an attempt to comfort her - he was never very good at that, he just usually did the whole, I'll offer a shoulder for you bit, "I get it. I hope it works out." he mused, thinking about her sister. He knew if her sister hurt her, he wouldn't be a very happy person to be around. "Anyway.." he mused, getting her mind off that topic, "Tell me t-this...what did you always want to be when you grew up?"

“Well, he already thinks I am to an extent.” Owen told her with another innocent grin gracing his lips. In return she smiled with him and bit her lip. “Well I guess why have nothing to lose. Ask away!” She said with a smile on her lips. As she thought she wondered if Owen would actually ask his brother to check if elephants could jump. It was quite an odd request to say the least, but maybe Aidan would find it funny. Delilah and Owen had found it funny, but they found a lot of things they said funny. That was part of their friendship. They always found each other funny. Also they also always poked fun at each other. It was like their own little competition. While most people expected Delilah to dominate in the competition, but honestly Owen always had his own little way of surprising her whether it was giving her a cold shower or just coming up with a great way to make fun of her. Either way she was impressed. It was funny talking to Owen now with how they started out. When Delilah first moved in Owen avoided her like the plague. To keep her entertained she’d have to play with Apollo which wasn’t terrible, but she missed talking to human. Soon Owen warmed up to her and they became best friends not too long after that. It was all smooth sailing after that.
“I honestly don’t know.” He replied in a soft tone. Delilah bit her lip and looked at him. “ Don’t you want to travel? I mean you need to get out of this town one day.” She said setting her head on his shoulder. Her dark eyes looked at him with curiosity. “If you could go somewhere where would you go, wolfie?” Delilah inquired poking his cheek gently. She smiled and then puffed her cheeks out so if he wanted payback he could do the same to her. It just something they did. They poked each other. They didn’t know why they poked each other, they just did. It was like blinking. You didn’t know why you had to do it, but you did it anyways without even thinking. A lot of stuff was like that for Delilah and Owen. All of their shenanigans had become like habits. They just did them without thinking. It was part of their friendship, which Delilah loved. Then Owen said to her, “Course. Whatever flavors you want.” Delilah smiled from ear to ear and said, “Awesome! We can get them on our way back. I can’t wait!” Was Delilah getting too excited for cupcakes? Maybe, but that was part of her bubbly personality and could never be contained. She was always bouncing off the walls and running around. She barely ever stopped moving. That was probably why she was like a stick because she burned off any food she ate. It pretty much rocked for her. Especially because she kind of ate a lot. Owen would know this and that was why Delilah usually bought most of the groceries because she ate the most in the house. She was always getting hungry at the strangest times. So don’t get scared if it’s three in the morning and you see someone in the kitchen eating because it’s most likely Delilah. She can’t help it though. She just gets very hungry sometimes…oh who am I kidding all the time.
“I’ll be right there…no blowing anything up. The worst thing that could happen with the coils would be…well, we just get shocked and stay in the hospital awhile.” Owen informed her. She laughed softly and shook her head. “ Sounds like a bucket of fun. I bet getting electrocuted is wonderful for my hair.” She joked twirling a loch of her brunette hair between her slender fingers. “ Oh my poor poor electrocuted hair.” She said and then smiled at herself. She was so weird sometimes, but that wasn’t always a bad thing in Delilah’s eyes. Normal people were boring, weird people were interesting. It was just how it worked. Then after Delilah called Owen a butt munch he asked, “What’s…that?” Delilah giggled and shook her head lightly. “ It’s you, butt munch.” She informed him with a sly smile feeling as she had one once again in their arguments. She was getting better for sure. Then Owen said, “Good…besides…he’s got a girlfriend anyway.” Delilah smiled and asked teasingly, “ Jealous, wolfie?” Heaven knew she wished he was, but he probably wasn’t. He had no feelings like for her. Sadly she was just a friend, a best friend. One that would never get to be more. One that would forever be in the friend zone. It sucked, but at least got to hang out with him. She was lucky enough to not be one of those people who adored someone from afar. That would just not have been food for her. She would have never been to deal with that. She was thankful for that. Then after her big story about her family she felt Owen’s arm brush herself. A small smile tugged on her smile and she felt grateful for even that same gesture. It meant a lot to her. He was listening and he cared. “I got it. I hope it works out.” He said. She smiled a little bigger and looked up at him. “ Me too, Owen, me too.” She said in a soft tone. Then Owen said, “Tell me t-this…what did you always want to be when you grew up?” Delilah now smiled normally and stuffed her hands down her pockets. “ I always wanted to sing. I didn’t care if it was on Broadway or on a stage or whatever. All I knew was that I wanted to sing. It’s a silly dream, but it’s my dream.” She answered looking up at the clouds. She then glanced at Owen wondering what he’d say next.

Owen looked to Delilah quietly as she continued about him asking his brother. He knew Aidan would most likely do it, but that he also would probably just give his younger brother and Delilah a look. He didn't care. His brother would still love him and most likely ask him why he hadn't gotten together with Delilah yet. Oh yes, Owen could see that now. He shook his head slightly, getting rid of that thought out of his head. No. He told himself. Yes, Delilah was gorgeous pretty, but they were the best of friends, he didn't want to hurt that. He wrinkled his nose in annoyance with himself, don't be a chicken he told himself. Keeping those thoughts then to the back of his head, he reassured himself, well, Delilah could have any guy she wanted, therefore he doubted she'd pick him out of all the people. Owen did know though that if she did begin to see someone, he'd first be jealous protective of Delilah, but also to make sure he'd treat her right or else he would have Owen to answer to. His face darkened slightly at the thought of someone hurting Delilah. Oh hell no. There would be no way they could get away with that. His thoughts were put on pause when she spoke again, bringing up him traveling. Owen shrugged, "I suppose, but I don't think..." he picked his words carefully, "I'd like to be away from here for...very long." His eyes glanced towards her swiftly and he chuckled lightly upon her inquiry about where-ever he could go. Rummaging through his knowledge of some of the countries he would travel to, he mused lightly, brushing his hair out of his eyes for a moment, "Probably Asia.." he hesitated, "Or Europe, preferably the UK, where my mom's from."
Oh yes, that would be fun. Head to the UK. He could definitely work on his photography there as well. God that would be wonderful, take his Canon and head to the UK for a few weeks. Hmm...maybe he should do that this summer before he got into his - thankfully - paid internship. Blue eyes looked to Delilah and he inquired, "What about you? Where would...you go?" The wolf then straightened his frame in a light stretch as they continued through the woods, he glanced over his shoulder and grinned upon spotting a deer looking at them with wide, careful eyes. So jumpy. He liked going after deer any time, though he would always stop himself - if it wasn't the full moon if the deer happened to have a fawn with them. The fawns were always so innocent, Owen couldn't do that to them, therefore he always let them be and would move onto something else for the time being. Feeling her poke, Owen growled playfully, and playfully pushed Delilah, only aiming to make her sway a bit, knowing she'd be able to handle the light push, as he had done it before. He then poked her again, and grinned innocently, an idea forming in his head, though he wouldn't execute it just yet. He did grin as she mentioned her beloved cupcakes, and he commented, "Perhaps I'll hide them...so you can go out there and eat in the middle of the night." Owen he joined her on a few of those midnight snack occasions, but most of the time he had to head to class or the lab in the morning, but now with him graduating and an internship, he'd be able to have a bunch more freedom than before.
Owen shook his head as he thought about them or one of them getting in the hospital if one of his coils fired. Well, most likely not the hospital, just...sore for a few moments. Eyeing her hair curiously, Owen shrugged, "Well...it would probably just require a bit of care afterwards." He ruffled his hair slightly and mused, "I'd probably just...cut mine if I needed to." Owen didn't like the idea of getting rid of his hair, but hey, it would need a cut sooner or later. He knew if he let it get too long before graduation, his mom would be the type to hold him down right before they headed to graduation and cut some of it off. Then came the dare Cade had given him before he had moved off to Italy for awhile after he'd left Sara, spike his hair. Yeah, right. Owen had never told Deli that so she'd make sure he'd go through with it. Please. Looking to Delilah, he did wonder though, what was going on through her head. Butt munch. Grinning lightly, Owen then arched an eyebrow towards Delilah when she asked if he was jealous. Well, Owen had a bit of things....first off, he'd only ever had one actual girlfriend. For goodness sake he'd never admit this though - he'd only ever had sex one time. Good Lord, Owen shook those thoughts away, not letting them get to him now. Not with Delilah.
He gave her a silent shrug when she asked him about being jealous. Course he was. He was jealous of Aidan, but he knew he could be just like his brother if he worked at it. "Well...why don't you?" he asked about her singing. "I haven't really heard you sing...." Owen nudged her gently, an idea popping into his head about that. Yes, he would certainly start working on that for Delilah the moment they got back to his apartment, no - their apartment, well...yeah, that sounded okay, and he could get started on working on something for Delilah. Blue eyes gleamed happily, before the wolf then commented, "I don't think it's a silly dream. It's your dream, not anyone else's." He mused, giving her a gentle smile, and allowing Delilah to respond before he then poked her again, and spoke, "Tag!" Owen took off, darting through the forest, letting his long legs give him an advantage over Delilah. Jumping over a fallen tree, Owen swerved and headed into a small clearing, inhaling slowly, tracking Delilah's shampoo, it was always easy to find her with that, the smell was wonderful. Owen grinned, eyes flashing as he took off once more, and ducked behind a tree near a field, hiding his shadow from her as well. She'd find him, he knew she would.
