Mystique only grinned as he said that he would keep that in mind and she could tell that she had spiked his sexuality slightly. There was something rather enjoyable about torturing him and she was not sure why, but maybe it was the evil side in her that was rearing its head or maybe it was her own inner sexual self. The idea of working in the same office made her shake her head and laugh softly, wondering if that was the best idea even though she wanted to work with him in the same office. “That is tempting,” she thought and just weighted the options in her head. “I think I would rather do that instead of work out on the battlefield,” she said, having heard his thoughts, not sure if she could spend the amount of time required away from him. She just squeezed his hand softly as she smiled. “How do you know? Don’t you dare challenge me, mister or you will reap the consequesnces,” she said with an evil grin on her lips, just breaking out laughing as she was absolutely kidding. She just saw his eyes then, daring her only to press the matter more. “What?” she just said as if that was the best come back she had. She just wrinkled her nose at him and pursed her lips together. “Fine!” She just gave in and sighed.

Mystique had continued with her history, the emotional side of her having faded as she simply had talked about her studying Spanish and having been their for nearly a millennium and learning English. Then how she had come to the United States to get a good education and so on. She had attempted not to ramble on too long, but it still ended up being rather long. She turned so she was straddling his waist, just looking at him as she just said softly, feeling suddenly weak. “Do you think I’m horrible for murdering those men? Or even selling my soul for that reason?” She asked him, moving backwards towards the smallest fraction of her life that held valuable points in her life. There was some sense of remorse in her for doing that, but something in her had encouraged that as though her deal only intended something evil. He had not said anything before and it made her nervous, but at the same time he had not stopped her, only encouraged her to keep going. Part of all this made her wonder if he would change his mind about her because she had never trusted someone with this. Her hand shook slightly as she just raised it to his cheek gently, brushing a few strands of hair out of the way. Part of her knew he would say no and find some way to justify her actions because he loved her, but it was one of those things you just needed to hear another person say.
After letting time go as he responded, she just leaned in and kissed him gently, still straddling his lap, her dress a pool over her legs. No one was here and therefore she was not worried about someone seeing them so informal. Her hands rested around his neck, then his shoulders as she just pulled back after a long moment, just gazing into his eyes, her forehead resting against his.

Christian wasn't sure what Mystique had been thinking, probably because he was ignoring her worrisome thoughts as best as he could when she spoke, telling him of her past. The male tilted his head gently, listening silently to her words. She had become Immortal in order to kill those who had murdered her family in front of her. Sounded a bit like him, he'd hunted down the specific Gauls for decades, the ones who had killed his parents. Camila was a different story, she had disappeared, and he knew she was dead, they had found her bones in Spain, and they had been identified. Christian's heart and breathing hitched for a moment, Mystique yanking him out of his trip down memory lane when she suddenly shifted from her well - more innocent position on his lap to one that most people probably wouldn't approve of. Then her question wrapped itself around his attention, and his thoughts. Did he think she was horrible? What kind of question was that? Why would she ask him such a thing? Though he heard her thoughts, it just had to be said. Even if she could hear her, it didn't mean the same as when someone said it. Christian understood. The male's hand raised, cradling her cheek and jawbone slightly, his other hand having rested on her hip comfortably, as if holding them together, not wanting to be too far from her. He shook his head calmly, "Not in a million years." What a ridiculous question, he voiced in his head, giving Mystique a gentle look, knowing she'd probably heard that. His finger brushed against her cheek softly, smothering any idea he had about making a move right now - in public - with her over his hips. "You only did what anyone else would have done." He too had done the same thing. Well, mostly. He did it to avenge his mother's slaughter, the loss of his then wife, and then once he had finished what he needed, Christian had moved on. Suddenly as his thoughts enveloped him, he suddenly was greeted by a passionate kiss from Mystique, her closing the space between them once more. Eagerly returning the kiss with just as much passion as she had given, Christian reluctantly pulled away when she did, their forehead resting against each other's forehead. Closing his eyes in bliss, Christian sighed softly before opening his eyes to meet those beautiful eyes in front of him, and both his hands raised to cup her cheeks gently, and he spoke, "You're so beautiful, Mystique." he whispered gently, reminding her of just how not only tempting she was, but stunning, gorgeous and strong. Grinning weakly, Christian pressed his lips to hers eagerly, like he hadn't been able to kiss her in hours instead of just minutes. Only after a few moments, Christian inhaled slowly after pulling away and locked his eyes with hers, a curious look falling on his face as he then spoke, looking down for a moment then back up to her, "I too...hunted down...the ones responsible for my parents' deaths." he spoke, "I don't think any different of you, Myst." he ran a hand gently through her locks and then kissed the tip of her nose, "I don't want to ever have to think about not being by your side." Christian's attention didn't waver from her, he didn't hear anyone around them. Glancing over her quietly, and down to where her legs were straddling him, he gave her a boyish grin then inquired, "Would you like to go to my home for the day? I can show you around my city." He offered.

Mystique could not even listen to his thoughts right now, all she could do was listen to make sure, despite his feelings. It was like holding your breath and finally as you breathed out, you relaxed. She just heard his thoughts about not only it being a ridiculous question, but about making a move right now. When he reassured her that it was the same for anyone else, maybe it was only referring to both of them. They both have made many of the same decisions and it comforted her a bit as they both just sat there. Then, the desire for him only heightened as they continued kissing and she heard his thoughts. When he said those words she just smiled as she gazed into his eyes because they meant everything to her. Every time he glanced down over her, it gave her the shivers down her spine as he asked his question, smirking and saying, “I’d love to.” She said rising to her feet, now attempting to picture his home. She knew she would not get to see the way it was too much longer because they would be busy moving things around. “Thank you for this, for coming with me and allowing me to tell you this,” she said, as she just gazed up at him, her hand finding his.
- - - - - - - - - -
Mystique began to just pack away some of his things as she held a nice shirt in her hands, her fingers running over the dress shirt. The house was nice and simple, but a bit larger than her own and she could tell he had not been here for a while just by how everything was laid out, the dust on some of the objects, but it did not bother her because it was the same with her. She stood in his bedroom, as he had gone to move some stuff, as she just folded up all of his clothing, pushing her hair over her shoulders. She felt arms come around her from behind, as she smiled, having folded quite a bit already before she turned around and looked up at him. She just kissed him then, one of her arms going around his torso. She knew they should not kiss right now because they were supposed to be packing, but she just could not help herself when it came to him. There was never enough for her, never enough.

It was weird to walk through his house, knowing that he would only return here with Mystique perhaps if he needed something else from it. Right now he was planning on letting Daniel have it, as Daniel had also met a woman and they were planning to get married. Why not? Christian had no need for it and plus he had a few houses in other places he could live in too. One being in New York City. The immortal brushed his fingers over the bookshelves in a guest bedroom. A bedroom he hadn't wanted to bring Mystique into. In all these journal-like books, was his past, his history. Everything and anything he'd ever done and everyone he'd ever met, was documented in here. Photos as well when they finally got started, drawings and letters from everyone he'd met if he had asked them for a letter. He even had one from Hannibal, yes, the actual Hannibal, not in English of course, but there were multiple people who he had met, sometimes before they came famous or infamous in some ways, and sometimes when they were at the height of their fame. Christian tucked them into boxes and once he had them all taken care of and settled into the carriage in the back, as both he and Mystique had sat up in the front, while he steered the pair of horses to here, his own gelding and then her own. He didn't have many horses due to moving a lot, therefore he just had this one he'd had since it was about 5 years old. Patting his chestnut horse, Christian smiled fondly, before returning to his house. He'd told Daniel he could come the day after tomorrow, just in case he and Mystique bunked here for the night. Fortunately it was moderately early in the day, so he knew they could easily make it back to her place before night fell. He lingered in the main room for a few moments, before he then followed to where he knew Mystique was. His current, and soon to be old bedroom. Entering, he saw her folding some of his shirts, and her fingers linger on a nice dress shirt he hadn't actually bought too long ago. Smiling gently, both at the thought of being with her, and just Mystique in general, Christian approached her from behind, wrapping his arms snugly around her waist, pulling her right up against him, closing the space between them.
The other immortal spun around, their eyes met and her lips suddenly met his. Grinning slightly into their token of love, Christian sighed softly once he pulled away, one hand placed on her temple, the other, on her hip, holding her close. "Hello to you you, mi amor." he spoke, the accent slipping back in when he spoke those two little words. Christian gave her a devious look and reached around, picking up the suitcase and swiftly snapping it shut, "Thank you for..helping me pack." he mused gently, giving her a passion-sealed kiss before he then grabbed the suitcase swiftly and gave her a gentle grin, "I'll take this." his hand gave her hand a gentle squeeze before he then released her hand and loaded up the suitcase onto the carriage, the two horses looking back at him as he came out, luckily they were both tied, even though his was trained, sometimes he would test Christian, mainly just to have fun. He wouldn't mind that, if he wouldn't corrupt Mystique's horse and take off with his life in it. Even though Christian had his photographic memory, the journals helped serve as well as a physical reminder. Re-entering the house and approaching Mystique, he mused gently, "Would you like to perhaps head home?" he inquired, "Daniel and his soon-to-be wife will be taking this house." Christian grinned gently, feeling like his heart was thudding obnoxiously into his chest, he wouldn't be surprised if Mystique could hear it. Kissing her cheek gently, he inquired, "I hear there's supposed to be a fire back home tonight, perhaps we could stop by, I hear really, supernaturals only." he grinned shyly, offering it to Mystique, "Or....we can do whatever you'd like." he added lightly. Mystique felt his smile against her lips, only returning the smile before they pulled away, keeping her arms wrapped around his neck as she just was pulled close, liking the fact that their was very little space around them. When he spoke in his accent again, she just purred out slightly, “Mmm, you shouldn’t do that when we are standing so close, next to a bed much less with enough time.” She shot him a mischievous glance as she just reached around her grabbing the suit case. She just laughed into the kiss, only kissing back before murmuring thank you into his lips before he pulled away with the suit case. She just smiled as he looked back at her for a few seconds as she just slowly turned the light off and waited for him in the foyer. When he came back, his question made her raise an eyebrow, but after he explained as to why, she just nodded. As he leaned down, she could hear his heart beat steadily against his chest, as she just rested her fingers over it. “Hmm, that sounds great,” she said with a smile as she just waved away his second option to her. “Don’t be ridiculous, a bonfire sounds great mi querido,” she said in her Spanish accent. “Well, we ought to go now,” she said as she slipped a hand in his and just led him outside.

Mystique just kept what she wore this morning as she waited in the living room for Christian to get ready for the bonfire as she just propped up her legs, her dress dangling slightly off the edge of her couch like furniture. A few strands of hair had managed to slide over the edge as well as she closed her eyes for a few moments, one hand resting on her petite stomach and the other laying limp at her side. Relaxation ran through her as her breathing and heart beat enveloped her as she slipped into slumber. A dream had hit her immediately of Christian, as they just were talking to each other as they always had during the war. Then a shell hit the small unit of nurses and doctors. She saw Christian lying there dead and that is when she woke up, breathing heavily as she just felt someone pull her back down. She relaxed slowly as she smelled his scent and looked up at him before turning into him. She buried her head into his shirt, her fingers curling into the soft material. She did not say anything, just remaining utterly quiet.
That was when she realized she had fallen asleep. “Oh…the bonfire!” She suddenly looked up at him, her heart still pounding as she felt horrible. “Is there still time…oh crap, I’m so sorry I fell asleep. You should have woken me.” She said, her eyes expressing sadness that she had fallen asleep on him.

The duo had returned to Mystique's house without much of an incident. Just the traveling part, and Christian was particularly glad that he had Mystique right at his side. Putting up the horses after they'd finished unloading, Christian let Mystique change as he unloaded a few of his things, the few suitcases with the journals still packed. He didn't want to run the risk of unlocking the suitcases. He had the keys to them, and he felt bad for hiding them, but they were so precious. So precious and he had to be careful with them. A careful hand ran over the material of the suitcase before he then tucked the keys into the pocket on his pants and headed into their bedroom now, rummaging through some of his things to find something he could wear to the bonfire tonight. Just a pair of regular pants and a shirt, Christian ran a hand through his hair, before plucking a pair of scissors. Did he cut his own hair? Course, he'd had plenty of practice over the years, sliding them through his hair, deciding it was time for a bit of a cut, the Immortal pinched off what he decided to pinch off, before then quickly going ahead and trimming his hair about half an inch. It looked so much better. Rinsing everything down and making sure to brush it all off his shoulders, he slid his shirt back on and checked his now shorter hair. There, better. Glancing outside he realized the sun only had no more than thirty minutes before it would set. Oops. Where was Mystique? Frowning, he then exited and spotted her on the couch, he grinned lightly, he had let her sleep anyway, she deserved it. Sitting beside her calmly, Christian got a faint worry thought from her, and internal panic. Placing a gentle hand on her shoulder, he jumped slightly when she woke up, and then buried her face into his chest.
Placing light fingers on her head, soothing her silently, he inquired, "What was it cariño?" He listened to her then mention the bonfire and a light grin cascaded onto his features. "Come now, don't you worry your pretty little head over it. I don't think it will never be too late to arrive." he reassured her, giving her hand a gentle squeeze before standing up, pulling her with him. As he pulled her up, his arms coiled around her waist, holding her to him and gave her a light kiss on her lips, eagerly molding his lips to hers before he mused, "What did you dream about?" he inquired, silently telling her he had sensed something was up, but wouldn't say what. He chuckled at her worry before he then led her out of her house, as they locked the door before just heading to the nearby house with the massive backyard that would be holding this occasion. As they entered, Christian immediately noticed Amelia and Henry, Amelia's eyes seemed darker, and she seemed stressed. The witch gave them a polite nod, though didn't approach them. How odd. Nevertheless, Christian toyed with the item in his pocket as well. He wouldn't do it now, but he wanted to. Wrinkling his nose slightly, Christian then looked around and noticed people just chatting, sitting by the fire, dancing, he looked to Mystique and inquired, "What would you like to do cariño? We can do whatever you want. No me importa." He grinned lightly, kissing the side of her head as he looked around. It looked to be a casual, laid-back event. How exciting.

Mystique just ran through the sudden feeling she had felt, something so horrible and frightening she could not move for a moment. She only eased when he began to brushed his fingers through her hair, it soothing her. “You died,” she said softly, but it was audible as she just slipped her arms around him tightly as though she might lose him. She was just relieved that it was a dream, but she just relaxed slowly. “Really? Oh thank goodness,” she said softly as she still felt bad, as he just seemed to pull her with him, as her arms slipped around his neck, and she returned the kiss. “We were in the war still and you were talking to me much like we talked while Daniel was recovering and the medic unit was hit. I saw you dead,” she said almost breathless, just staring at him, a certain fear in her eyes. She did not know if she wanted him to go back and she did not want to go back herself now. They just walked silently, as she kept her hand in his as though to reassure herself he would not go anywhere. She noticed Amelia, as she seemed a little odd today, but she just looked at the other people around that just seemed to be relaxing. She saw a few people dancing, but it was just a calm event. “Dancing, por favor mi amor,” she responded as she smiled softly as he kissed the side of her head. She just guided him to a different spot near the fire where it was more open, but not completely away from everyone.
She just kept one hand in his as the other rested on his shoulder. “What’s wrong with Amelia?” She asked him, whispering softly as she just looked up into his eyes. She did not really have to look at Amelia to get the sense that something was wrong. She knew it was not her business, but she was rather curious. The warmth from the fire calmed her as she just watched it for a moment, her mind flickering to the scene of Christian dead. Her fingers tightened on his as she just looked up into his eyes, smiling softly as she tried to get her mind off of the dream. She knew the image would haunt her for a very long time, but she hoped maybe with a few distractions she would not think about this, but rather just enjoy herself.

Hearing her worries and her thoughts on this dream she had, Christian hugged her gently, reassuring the pretty brunette, "It's all right m'amor, I can't die that easily." he grinned weakly, reassuring her gently. "If there was ever anything to separate us, it certainly won't be my death." he calmed her frazzled nerves lightly before they had entered the party. Christian's attention though lingered on the blonde witch for a few moments, as he knew that Amelia rarely allowed herself to get worked up and worried over stuff, mainly because she was so strong to begin with. The Immortal shrugged at Mystique's inquiry, "I'm not sure, but it's weird to see her so anxious." Henry too, seemed on edge, and Christian knew he was a man who rarely got nervous. There had to be something up, something coming that had them spooked like horses would be against even something as small as a rabbit. He did worry though, but not that much as he preferred to keep his attention with Mystique. Frowning slightly he then tilted his head slightly as he noticed her thoughts travel back to that dream she had had. Wrinkling his nose slightly, Christian squeezed her hand gently before he then spun her and lowered her into an eloquent dip to attempt to start getting her mind off of her dream. After all, it was only a dream. "Calmate m'amor." he kissed her hand that was intertwined with his gently. "You're even making me nervous." he grinned lightly, giving her a gentle, teasing smile before pausing in his steps as Amelia approached them, her blonde hair done up as she smiled politely, though uneasily towards the two Immortals. "Greetings, Christian and Mystique." she spoke gently, purple eyes warily watching the two of them, not missing a beat. "Evening, Amelia. Is there something wrong?" Christian got to the point, as the witch's hand brushed Mystique's arm, then Christian's, and she shook her head, a slight flash of silver appearing when she had done that on both their arms, "No it's nothing to worry about. Enjoy yourselves. That was a charm for both of you to have fun tonight." Christian's eyes darkened, obviously not believing the witch completely, but would go with it anyway as he nodded calmly, "Thank you." he kissed Mystique lightly as Amelia walked away, her skirt flowing as she did so, much like Mystique's skirt. Drawing her close, his lips molded to hers once more eagerly before he reluctantly drew away and sighed softly, "Let's not worry about it too much, Amelia will tell us and the other supernaturals here if there will be anything to worry about." He wasn't horribly worried, as he spun Mystique around and as he did so, plucked a flower out of a clump of them that happened to be on a bench, the flower being a rose - fortunately without thorns as he offered it to the brunette in his arms. Christian just calmed her to the point she was relaxed, as he hugged her, her arms around him tightly. There was nothing so startling than seeing your significant other dead, but she was quite relieved that he was right her, calming her from what had haunted her in her short nap. Mystique’s eyebrows furrowed at his words as she tried to read his thoughts, but nothing came from Amelia except babbling words. Her head tilted back, her posture graceful as he spun her and dipped her back, squeezing her hand. She listened to his words as she looked up at him kissing her hand, sighing softly as he said that she was making him nervous, knowing he was slightly serious, but teasing as well to lighten her thoughts and mood. Then, Christian stopped as Mystique followed his gaze to Amelia. There was something rather suspicious about Amelia, something rather mysterious, but she just put it aside for now. She just looked into her eyes and allowed Christian to speak and ask about what the situation was. She felt her lightly brush her arm as she did identical to Christian’s, a metallic light appearing for a moment. Her explanation was seemed like nothing to worry about, but Christian seemed to be questioned her. “Thank you, Amelia,” she said as the witch went away. She seemed like herself for right now, although Mystique had not know her that long, so she did not want to completely assume that she was fine.
Mystique returned the kiss as she was brought close, smiling against his lips as they kissed passionately as she groaned softly as he pulled away, not wanting to stop kissing him. She listened to his words as he spun her, bringing a rose up to her and she smile, grasping it by her fingertips as she leaned in to smell it. “Thank you,” she said as she leaned up to kiss him and just stood there with him. “She seems fine; maybe it’s just the party itself that is stressing her because she seems to be running around quite a bit. Where is Henry though?” She asked him as she looked around at some of the other faces, not spotting his and not even have spotting him earlier. “When should we leave for visiting Lyon, France?” She asked him, breaking off part of the stem quickly before sticking the remaining stem of the rose in her hair since all the thorns had been taken off. The idea of going with him there soon was thrilling, but then again, it would be a nice anniversary trip. She placed her hands back where they were before as they continued to dance.

Weeks had passed. It felt like years. Time was too precious when Christian was with the brunette. She always held his attention - which was a feat in itself. Christian adored his time with Mystique, it was bliss, it was wonderful. The immortal rolled over, feeling his arms subconsciously coil around the immortal, bringing her closer to him. It was easy with her, and relaxed. Hell they could spend all day in her bed if they wanted, he didn't work today, as it was Sunday and by now though, he had opened his own little practice, becoming a doctor...again. Christian enjoyed it though, being able to help out others, and the best thing, Mystique worked with him as well, tending to them as well, plus it was always nice to have an extra pair of hands when someone with a wound came in and may need more than just one pair of hands working on them to save their appendage or their life. His arms coiled neatly around Mystique as he then laid a gentle kiss on her forehead before he got up before her. On purpose. Sure, most would be supportive of what he wanted to do, and what he was going to do, but he wanted to do it more than anything, and he knew that he then got up and got dressed quickly, before grinning and setting down a slip of paper on the bed for Mystique, a coy grin spreading over his features, placing it on his pillow, since she'd most likely see it there soon. On the slip of folded paper was their first time meeting, in the battle, and Christian then stopped at the entrance to their bedroom, and placed another slip of paper. He began to place them at about 10-foot spaces from each other.
What was on these slips of paper? A memory they shared over the past 9 months they'd been together. The immortal grinned lightly, figuring she'd get dressed before she headed out to the next slip of paper, knowing she'd easily find it, as they weren't too far and had a hint on the back if she needed it for the next one. Personally he wanted to see her reaction, as he then headed over to his horse, and patted him gently, as he had brought him here just in case. Patting the gelding, he tied him up, knowing Mystique shouldn't hopefully be able to see him. Christian had been keeping himself at a distance slightly the past day, mainly to make sure Mystique wouldn't get the hint of this said proposal. Hiding it had been a lot harder than he had thought, but nonetheless he had done it. Pride swelled in his chest at the thought of this, his primary concern was her answer. She would say yes, wouldn't she? Why wouldn't she, he told himself, scolding himself about worrying so much. He was in a garden, a private garden really in the park, and when someone entered, he shook his head gently, and sat down on the bench there.
It was an absolutely gorgeous day. The sun was shining, it wasn't too hot and there was a gentle breeze that helped keep the temperature from climbing too high. Keen eyes then landed on Mystique heading this way, and a boyish grin fell over his features. Here she comes. His fingers toyed with the item in his hands, watching her with the last few slips of paper, there hadn't been many, so it wouldn't be too much of a pain, but enough to get her here easily anyway. Casually standing up there, Christian grinned lightly to her, tilting his head slightly in her direction, as she approached, his lips caught hers for a moment before he then spoke, "Mystique, I don't want to think about waking up one day and you not being there, I want to be able to see you everyday, and hold you..." he crouched down, the knee hitting the ground softly, nerves getting the best of him as he spoke, offering her the ring, it wasn't too big or small, but it would suit her just fine, wonderfully. "Will you marry me?"

Mystique felt a soft kiss on her cheek, just not moving, slightly awake as Christian moved about, but she still was rather exhausted from the night before. She listened to her breathing as it lulled her nearly again into sleeping, but she just rolled onto her back while stretching, a yawn escaping her lips. As she rolled over slightly onto Christian’s pillow, she heard and felt something crumple softly beneath her head before she leaned up. On it was a description of their first meeting, a smile widening across her face. Her fingers just brushed over the words before she just gazed up at the ceiling and stretched wondering where he could have gone. Then she caught a glimpse of another sheet of paper near the doorframe, her eyebrows furrowing as she slowly slipped out of bed and peered down the hallway, a few others laying there. Her eyebrows furrowed, unsure exactly of what Christian was up to, but she just quickly set the first memory down before slipping into a light yellow dress. She just then left the room to itself, beginning to pick up one memory at a time as she simply read them. She only felt her cheeks grow warmer as she smiled so wide, feeling like the luckiest woman in the world. Whatever he was doing this for, she found the action unique and she knew she would never forget this moment, not forgetting about Christian laying out these memories to reflect on.
She paused on certain ones, like the time at the waterfall, her thin fingers gentle on the paper as she collected them in her hands. She pushed a few locks of hair out of her face as she read what seemed to be the very last one. The sun felt so warm and welcoming on her porcelain skin. Tears of happiness rested on her eyes, glossing them over as she just gazed down at the words that were irreplaceable. Then she saw him just standing there, a smile on his lips as she just came up to him. She had just realized they were standing in the garden, feeling like this was a dream. Her fingers just slipped along the edges of the paper, afraid to ruin them even though each and every word was embedded in her memory. She only smiled more, as she returned the kiss as she just wanted to kiss him until she couldn’t anymore. She was not sure if that would ever happen, and she hoped it never would.
His words were sweet, like the icing on a very large cake as she just watched him, as he crouched down in front of her, her eyes widening a bit. A beautiful ring was presented to her as she waited for the words that she knew would follow, her heart pounding loudly against his chest, wondering if he could hear it right now. “Yes, yes, I will,” she said a large smile on her face as she just waited for him to slip the ring on her finger. It fit perfectly as she just gazed at the engagement ring, something so simple and yet beautiful as she just smiled, leaning down quickly to kiss him. She had definitely not expected this, but it was one of the most pleasant surprises she had come across in her life. There was no doubt in her mind that this was the happiest day of her life and she knew that there would be more. The last few weeks had been indescribable, and she would not trade any of the moments for the world because he held her heart, every bit of it and she knew in this moment that it would not belong to anyone but him.
