STYLE CNysia's style is very feminine. She likes to wear dresses and get all prettied up. And the way she wears her clothes just screams classy. Nysia is a very classy and well brought up woman. She enjoys playing the piano, since she took lessons starting at a young age. Being from a rich family, she does enjoy her money. She grew up drinking wine with meals, so that is a typical drink in her house. She likes several other things, some of them being; puppies, rubies, fast cars, swimming, spicy food, and caring for children. Being in the water is just a given, since she is a mermaid. With likes comes dislikes. One of the biggest dislikes she has is violence. She is light aligned and hates conflict of any kind, including arguments. She hates lightning because she's afraid of being elecrocuted while in the water. Screamo music annoys her, as do insects. She also dislikes stuck up people. Because she knows there is no reason to be rude, because if she can be rich and be a kind person than so can anyone else. She doens't like seafood or closed in spaces, because she was raised around fish and in the wide open ocean. Nysia's strengths are that she has mastered the art of self control and is very calm. Her family has connections everywhere, and those connections have come in handy in her own life.

She also graduated high school a valedictorian, having one of the highest GPA's in the school. Some of her weaknesses are that she has an extrme soft spot for children. She is as stubborn as a mule when she wants to be, and is rather nosy. She's also been known to go for things she can't have.. Nysee has a few odd habits, such as; twirling her hair with her fingers, writing her feelings down and making them into songs, and she has an obsessive cleaning urge. Her worst fears are losing people close to her. She is very close with her family and has always been. She's scared of dying, and more importantly, dying alone. And just the thought of killing or harming someone makes her feel sick. A desire is to have some one there for her, who she can actually settle down with. And a secret of hers is that sometimes she wishes she wasn't rich.

Nysia Cynthiana Tavares was born, on March 14th to Sophia and Jorge. She has a brother Laurencio who is two years her elder. She was spoiled to the max by her parents because she was the youngest and the only girl. But they also raised her to be a proper lady. She took edequitte classes and was brough up to always use her manners and be a respectful woman. She, along with the rest of her family, were mermaids. They didn't keep this fact from their children, since it would be impossible to do so anyways, considering every time they touched water they would turn into their aquatic forms. The family, on land, was very rich and powerful. They were an old money type of family, with connections across the world.

At a young age she started taking piano lessons, and was soon deemed a prodigy. But that wasn't all that Nysia excelled in. Even from kindergarten, she was always at the top of her classes, both in the ocean and out. The family would spend every summer in the ocean, allowing their daughter and son appropriate nativity time. They wanted them to be comfortable in their merperson forms and not be a foreigner to their family that resided in the deep. As Nysia grew, she started to become a very stunning young woman. She was clear on her decisions, like being light aligned, and always had her reasons to back it up. She also had men falling head over heels for her, though she never let it go to her head.

During the months where she was on land, she tended to take the role of the popular girl in school. Not the bitchy stuck-up popular one, but the one who everyone loved and wanted to hang out with. Her life was pretty simple for the most part. She got everything she desired, and got straight A's in school. She graduated high school a Valedictorian, with plans to go to college. Those plans never happened though, because her older brother Laurencio was speared while swimming in the Atlantic. As soon as Nysia heard the news, she rushed to his aid and spent the next seven months nursing him back to health. And by the time he was well again, it was too late to start the year.

So her plan then was to just start the next school year, but that has yet to happen since she is overwhelmed with her life on land and in the sea; some one is always needing something and she is too kind hearted to tell them no. By now, she's given up on her goal of getting into college, but she is at peace with that fate. She doesn't stress too much over the things she doesn't have, because she's greatful for what she does have.
