Beau is one of those people that find the simplest things beautiful. When he looks at a flower, his interest is like a child’s in that he finds them so pretty and interesting. He is curious and always acts on his curiosity no matter what. Beau has a minor case of ADD, but he never really notices it. He has lived with it for seventy one years and it never bothered him. He absolutely loves being outside. In fact, he lives outside. He has his own fortress in the forest where he has been since he moved to Manuka. He loves fresh scents like when it rains. Rain is soothing to him, not annoying. Beau is a gentle person. He loves helping critters and animals when he can. He has seen a lot of things in his life time, making him not want to eat meat or anything made from animals. Yes, this boy here is a vegan. However, he doesn’t try to bring people to become one too. He thinks that everyone has their own opinions, and he doesn’t need to rattle them or annoy them with his own.

He is somewhat of a loner, but he doesn’t mind. Most people he meets don’t give him a second glance because of how child-like and innocent he is. Even though he is seventy one, he is still like a kid. He likes goofy hats and going barefoot in the sand. Basically everything is beautiful to him, no matter what. He has seen faeries without their glamour and has still seen the beauty in them. He loves everything.

Except Beau doesn’t really like people that are mean to him. He still doesn’t have the confidence to speak his mind or be mean to anyone. He figures they are going through something and don’t mean to take it out on him, but he had gotten in their way or something he had done set them off. He has had his feelings hurt many times though, and has broken down and cried. He likes to go to the waterfall of the lost princess to think and let the rush of the water to wash away all of those bad feelings.

Beau was born on February 29, 1940. His family was still recovering from the Great Depression, but that didn’t stop him from being a normal kid and having wants and desires. Most of the time, he never got what he wanted, but he was alright with that. After he became twelve, he realized what he had was everything he needed. His family was everything to him. He got a job when he was fourteen working on a lumber yard. He brought home some money to his family every week to help around. Since he was a kid, he had always loved being outside, so his mom let him have a tree house in the back yard. He would go to that tree house every night after work and just stayed by himself until finally his mother called for dinner.

When he turned nineteen, he came home from the lumber yard, just like any other day. When he opened the door to his home, he saw nothing but an empty house and an envelope. He dropped his bag, took off his shoes, and walked to where the thick envelope sat on the kitchen counter. The first thing he saw was a huge stack of money and a piece of paper with writing on it. He took the paper and read the contents. Basically his parents had abandoned him with nothing more than an empty house and a stack of money. He took the money and left the house to wonder around his favorite place, New York.

Beau had ventured off to Manhattan to explore the city and met a tall string bean of a woman named Lucy. He had fallen in love with her instantly. She charmed him and took him places he had only dreamed of. Then she talked into something dark and wicked. Beau did as she asked and sold his soul to Satan to be with her forever. Turned out Lucy was Satan himself, and now he had no soul at all. Instead, he was to live forever.

At first, he was a little depressed about it all, but he found that life seemed fuller for him. He moved out of New York with a few articles of clothing and the money he still had from his parents. Decades passed and he found his perfect home called Manuka. He has a fortress deep in the forest where he lives and creates calming music to entertain himself. He doesn’t really know anything about technology still, and gets confused at some of the things people say today.
