RIGHT PEOPLE! So basically, me and my friend are rethinking the plot and we're making a site video, and when all of that is done, I would love to make the site look more dark and Gothic looking to represent the genre of our site more. I know that all the templates and such are for light skins, but I was wondering if you were willing to accept a change?

the darker your screen the more money and energy you save! by going darker Nightmare would also be going green!

To me dark and gothic doesn't represent the genre of the site, since it's all about finding and fighting for the one you love. Yes, true there are two sides, but over all the plot line is avery bright and warm subject. I just don't see turning the site dark and brooding will help, unless it fits with the new plot line. Also there are way to many sites out there with dark skins, we're different. We don't fit the mold, which is what I like.

while that is true, the site is called "nightmare" which brings that gothic feel into play. but i also agree about hearing the new plot to go with the skin change because a dark skin with something about rainbows and butterflies is sort of like O.o wtf? you know? while nightme=are isnt about rainbows and butterflies, it has some effect of finding your love and whatnot...
which is another thing... in our plot line, no where in there does it talk about finding your true love, it's mostly about the war... so that might need changing in itself, or we have all just strayed from the original plotline...

I'll post up the new plot in a thread once it's done so that you lot can take a look at it; but the new plot is going to be the one that the video is based on, and we were thinking of giving it a darker feel, make it more exciting. The original plot does talk about soulmates, and fighting to be with them, but I think we need a plot to put into practice that makes everything move along, and get everyone more involved and force people to choose sides whether they like it or not.
I feel like we need a change, like we need something more so that the same plotline doesn't become too boring and not followed, so it wouldn't just be a general RP kinda thing. I was thinking of more changes, and like making it more a little more tightly bound but not to an extent that you lose RP freedom, just to get it all kind of... new? Because even I fell that our plot right now is becoming a little boring.
HOWEVER. I will not make any changes without consoling you guys, so don't worry you'll have a say ont he new plot, and if you like it or not and whatever changes you think it may need because at the end of the day it is about all of you, and not about me and what I like. So, we're working on it right now and I'll hopefully be able to post it today or tomorrow! <3 then you can see if we do need a skin change to fit the genre, because as the title says, it's a nightmare and i think i would like the site have more to do with that?
