HAIR Cade’s hair is typically kept shaggy, though never going past ear-length. His style is carefully done every day to make it look like he just got out of bed and didn’t bother to comb his hair. It really does take a certain talent to pull it off just right. There have been times when Cade has cut it shorter and spiked the front, but its not his favorite style.
BODY TYPE Quite an athletic and muscular young man, Cade has a very toned body that he rarely shows off. It’s not that he isn’t proud of it – because he is quite vain – but because he hates the two scars on his back. They only bring unwanted questions. However, he isn’t afraid to wear a button down shirt completely unbuttoned. Why not? He doesn’t mind being eye candy.

Cade had always been one with a good sense of humor. He's quick to let things roll off of him while keeping a smile on his face. Also known as quite the trickster, Caden is known to play a prank or two. In fact, he loves to tease to the point where people get upset, though its rarely his aim. Cade just doesn't know when to shut up sometimes. Other than that, Cade is a rather smooth talker, able to get himself out of almost anything with a few sweet words and a brilliant smile or two. His bright blue eyes - even with the ever present impish twinkle - are exceptionally helpful as well. He's cocky and sure, especially when it comes to a challenge.

Despite the fact that Cade comes off as easygoing, carefree, and confident he has slight self-esteem issues (blamed on his past). He takes comments to heart, whether or not they were meant to be interpreted that way. Caden has the potential to become a severely depressed person, though he tries to not dwell on those feelings. There has been a time or two when he's dipped really low and had a hard time coming back up. With that thought in mind, its hard for the young man to take things seriously, preferring to make a big joke out of everything. People have called him immature and childish for that reason, two things that he doesn't deny. He's prone to quick mood swings and is seen as unpredictable.

He's sweet to the core with a soft spot for animals. He can't help but stop and help anyone in need. Cade is unable to ignore the needs of others, even if they contradict his own. The young blond tries to portray himself as a tough guy, but is unable to do so very well. He likes to pretend that he is some lady killer, out to break heart likes his was. It's impossible for him to hide his true self. Caden can't be anything but an absolute gentleman and too caring for his own good.

Born in Italy in the early 1900s (he can’t pinpoint the exact year), Caden Luca Salvatore was the third child of Alessa and Clemente and the first son. He quickly became the apple of Clemente’s eye, who had always wanted a son to carry on the Salvatore name. Cade was the baby, dotted on by his parents and spoiled rotten by his older sisters. He was also quite the charmer; able to get anything he wanted when he turned his blue puppy dog eyes on anyone. The blond was the kid that all the girls in his class had a crush on. Growing up, Cade gained the reputation of a lady killer. However, he was always a gentleman to anyone he dated. Other than that, Caden had a rather normal life with a bright future ahead.

One day on his way back from visiting his parents (because he could be quite the momma’s boy), Cade was hit by a drunk driver. He was pronounced dead on the scene, having very little chance of surviving to begin with because he had been on a motorcycle. Next thing Caden knew, he was looking down at his body surrounded by paramedics. Before he had a chance to think, Caden found himself being pulled away from the scene and to heaven. Though Cade had done nothing extraordinary in his short lifetime, someone high up had decided to give him a second chance. Maybe it was because he was such a young man that pity was taken upon him. Either way, Cade was fortunate enough to become a guardian angel.

He was quite good at being a guardian angel for the first twenty to twenty five years or so, always careful to do everything by the book. Cade only revealed himself when necessary, preferring to be more of the hidden helper. He liked the feeling of helping of people, not need the credit of them knowing that it was him. However, that all changed when, in the early 1960’s Cade was charged with a girl around the age of 19. Her name was Maggie Elizabeth King. Things went fine for the first few months, Cade staying hidden as always. But in those few short months, Caden fell absolutely head over heels for her. He struggled between what he knew was right and what his heart was telling him. Cade decided that he’d reveal himself to Maggie, but introduced himself as another college student. His reasoning was that, if Maggie felt half as much for him as he did for her, then Cade would do everything he could to make it work.

Eventually, Maggie admitted that she liked Cade and Cade told her what he really was. Maggie said that it didn’t matter to her what Cade was and Cade made the greatest offense a guardian angel could commit; he turned his back on heaven for a human girl. Before he could even blink, his wings were ripped from him and Cade was deposited back on earth as a fallen angel. Cade didn’t care, as long as he was with his Maggie. And things were good for the first few years. Until Cade found out firsthand that he wasn’t Maggie’s one and only. There were actually many others and he was being played. Completely heartbroken, Caden left the scene. He was ashamed of turning his back on those who had accepted him unconditionally, ashamed of being so stupid. For past forty odd years, Cade has been wandering the world. Now he’s trying to keep himself out of this brewing war.
