AXEL JAMES ECKHART
The Eckhart family is known in the supernatural world and it's fair to say they've got quite the notorious reputation. They are one of the oldest lines of hunters and one of the most prestigious. Supernaturals beware, because there has never been an Eckhart known in the history of forever to have sympathy for a supernatural. They're nothing but monsters and should be treated that way, in the Eckhart opinion. Rumors have circulated that they were the first hunters way way back, though that has never been confirmed. And the new word on the street is that they were a driving force for the formation of the Plague. Again, no concrete evidence but it would make sense, wouldn't it?
Enter Axel. He's 28 year old hunter who arrived in Manuka right before the Plague formed. He's a captain of sorts, one of the head honchos in the running of things. He's calm and collected, a very "by the books" sort of kid who sometimes comes off as too serious. He's logical and almost always puts duty above feelings though that's not to say Axel doesn't have feelings. He can become very passionate about things he cares about and you'd honestly never want to cross the kid.
Why would I like him created? Well one, I thought of him and really really wanted to make him. But as we all know, I have an unhealthy amount of characters as is and really shouldn't add another. Also, I'd love for him to be a mentor to my boy Sam Holbrook. Axel and the Eckharts took Sam in when he was a lost soul after his family's death and taught him how to fend for himself. Because of that, Sam really looks up the Axel and feels in his debt.
So here's the basics. Playby, by heart is rather set on Gerard Way, but there's a possibility it can change if you convince me otherwise. I love the name Axel, but that is flexible. His age is also, but I'd like it to stay above 27 because Sam looks up to him like an older brother. So yeah, someone older than Sam. One thing I'd hate to see for this kid is to have some tragic past where a vampire or werewolf or something killed a family member. It seems to be a common back story for hunters and it really isn't like that for Axel. He was born into the lifestyle.
WARNING! I'm going to be extremely picky about who takes him. Yes, I know. Bitch move. But I seriously love the kid to death and I want to make sure he's played right. If I'm mean, I seriously don't mean to be.
Feel up to the challenge? Well come on down.
