Calypso is an extremely shy girl. She has trouble talking to others and is awkward in conversation. She becomes very nervous around people easily. She has trouble finding something to say, at what she does say is almost never the right thing to say. She is far too honest and can't lie properly. Because of this, she often says the wrong thing and makes herself look dumb. Calypso hates looking awkward and often disappears, literally, when she feels like she has made too much of a a fool of herself.

Calypso is innocent and naïve. And though this can be seen as a positive quality at times, at others it is detrimental to her. She doesn't understand much of anything about the adult world, and always looks like a fool when people try to talk to her about things she should understand, like money or a job, and she doesn't know what they are talking about.

Before Calypso died, she lived a great life. Though she was extremely sheltered, she didn't have a tough life. Her parents treated her well, and she had plenty of friends. She didn't have a boyfriend until later on in life, but she never felt like she was missing anything. Calypso didn't grow up shy though. It wasn't until she turned 21 that she met her first boyfriend and her life changed.

His name was Scott, and he was what you would call abusive. He never let her go anywhere without him, got rid of all of Calypsos friends, and always told her that she wasn't worth anything. Yet he would flip and tell her how much he loved her and how precious she was. A year later they were still dating and no one Calypso was still talking to could convince her to break up with him. Later that year, Scott got Calypso to run away with him. By now, Calypso was completely captivated by him. And her outgoing, fun-loving nature was gone and she was a shy, scared girl. Well, while she was running away with Scott, she started wanting to go back. But he couldn't let her do that, and he killed her. Ruthlessly, because he didn't care.

Ever since then, Calypso has been stuck on Earth, watching the ones she loved die. She longed to go with them to somewhere besides earth. After they had all passed away, Calypso realized that she had nothing to do anymore. So since then she has spent all her time looking for something to remove her from earth.
