Sometimes, Pippin forgot how old he really was. Although he couldn't really compare to the angels (who were seriously, incredibly yet ridiculously old) and although he had lost count as well, it still amazed him how quickly time could fly by when you were immortal. He was surprised to such a point that he would forget what he was doing and sit down for a minute, comprehending his life from the very beginning until now. Pippin sucked with dates and numbers, but he had an excellent memory whenever it came to matters of himself. He could recall the day that he was turned into a hybrid in vivid detail, as well as the day that he left his maker. Stupid thing to do really that one, but he was young and stupid back then, and never once did he condemn her, despite her being a stone cold bitch. Ryanna was as icy as rocks could possibly get, but he strangely enough, he liked her. The brunette woman was entertaining in her own cold way, and although she treated him like a pet, he knew that she wasn't as awful as she seemed most of the time.
The hybrid didn't think that he would ever meet her again. His travels around the world often left little chances of him bumping around, and Ryanna hadn't returned to Europe after she left for Manuka. Him on the other hand, had been busy watching history. War after war he had literally sat through, joining in occasionally whenever he felt like it. He didn't mind that he was written about and his face sketched onto paintings as a demon that appeared whenever there was havoc, but little did they know that he was simply a vampire hybrid. Immortality had did Pippin good, and the best part was, he was still able to create fire. The flames, once orange, were now blood red though, but they still burnt stuff, and did not seem any different from any other ordinary fire. It did signify though to everyone that he was a bit different, and that he was no ordinary firetamer, but Pippin couldn't give a shit.
Pippin was on another one of his rounds, carrying a small, potted cactus in his hand. He was now poking around the dusty, shady corners of Manuka, and of course, he had heard that there was some crazy black market shit going down in the abandoned warehouses. It had sounded like a very Ryanna thing, so the hybrid had decided to check things out. Even if the vampire wasn't here and his sources were wrong, he could always find a spot in the warehouse to plant more cactuses. It was how he left his mark in this present day, and yes, he did find it pretty funny. He didn't understand why most weren't amused though, no one seemed to understand the humour of leaving cactues behind. At least they should be thankful that he wasn't turning the areas that he marked upside down like he used to do in his wake.
He was about to put the cactus down and leave when he heard a faint noise behind him. The Scotsman turned around, unfazed, but his face broke into a grin when he recognized who it was. Ryanna still looked beautiful and deadly as ever, still the same cold bitch that he had known. "If it isn't Hapsheisdfhsfh! Hattie! Or do you just go by Ryanna now?" he greeted her, messing up her Egyptian name as usual. "Like holy shit I finally found you. Not that I was all out lookin', but still." With a swift step forward, he closed the distance between them and wrapped her in a squishy bear hug. There was absolutely no way in hell she was going to return it, of course he knew that, but Pippin was going to give her one anyway. Because he could, duh.
