When she actually put some effort in it, Natalia could clean up quite well. Or passably, at least. The rest of it was all body language. And there was nothing better then a knowing smirk and a little propriety to your stride when you wanted to mingle with the well-to-do.
So, expensively tailored dress sweeping around her legs, Natalia had wandered along the more luxurious parts of town, looking for somebody or something to catch her eye. She was bundled up in a cashmere scarf and quilted overcoat, partly for the weather and partly to add to her illusion of good taste and deep pockets. After a bit of walking, her pale eyes skimmed over an attractive looking young man, and something about him pricked her interest. Maybe it was just the smell of the coffee sitting in front of him.
With a slight alteration to her stride, Nat brought herself to a seat at the table next to him, settling down with a rustle of fabric. Just close enough to make pleasant conversation should she chose to. Sitting back in her chair, natalia delicately folded her hands in her lap as she waited for a server to come her way, at the same time casting a sidelong glance at the young man next to her.
"Waiting for somebody?”she queried in an easy tone, eyebrow raised ever so slightly

He had been there for a while, sitting in that seat and staring at the wall. The drink, a tea of some kind, he had brought was lukewarm at the worst, sitting there in front of him. If he left it longer, perhaps Phil Ryan would notice dust starting to collect around it and himself. Perhaps he would even notice him and it freeze at night. Wearing just a blue hooded jumper and black shorts, Phil Ryan looked like a very normal human being on the outside with a lot on his mind. Of course, Phil Ryan did have a lot on his mind, but it wasn't the worries that a normal human might have. Phil Ryan was wondering when death would finally come knocking for him. Soon, he hoped. Go down in the blaze of glory.
Of course, Phil Ryan had been sitting there for a while, and he wasn't surprised when someone came to sit down at a table near by, Phil was removed from his quiet staring by words. Looking away from the wall he had stared holes into, he looked at the owner of the voice. Very quickly, Phil realized a couple of things. Firstly, she was dressed rather grand for a place by the name of The Cookie Jar. Secondly, she didn't check off anything in his list that made her someone he didn't want to talk to right away. "Waiting? No, No, I'm just sitting here, wasting my money and letting my drink get cold." Phil stated rather quickly, shrugging. "Why? You waiting for someone or something? Pretty sure they'll find you in an instant." Phil told her, making a point to gesture at the woman's clothes with a raised eyebrow of his own.
"Sides, who'd I'd be waiting for. I'm kind of new in town." Informing her of what the situation was properly, Phil had decided, was a risky move. He didn't exactly want to tell someone that Phil was some kind of fighter randomly. Just new in town. Nothing new to see, nothing new to hear.

"What can i say i like to turn heads" Was her reply. Though she seemed rather confident on the outside. Inside she was regretting her outfit choice. She had to remember exactly how people dressed in this decade. Besides she liked to stand out. if her beauty didn't draw attention then.she was sure Her attire would. Dressing like this came in handy in away It was a good conversation starter.
A sly smils on her lips she looked him over briefly. "What do you say? I'm new around here also. so much for me asking you for a tour' she teased
Well, he certainly seemed younger then she had noticed. And far better looking. Both were interesting, and possibly good, developments. However, she was a bit of a hesitant little moment. . Slipping one of her most charming smiles on, she nodded slightly. “Hope I’m not intruding, love,” she replied in a lilting tone.

Like to turn heads. Well, that checked self centered onto the mental list that Phil had. Of course, his face didn't give away how Phil Ryan was judging this woman, how he was assessing how quickly she was going to turn into a flirt or some annoying jerk. "Well, good to know you have probably your best talent down then." Phil remarked, trying to be polite and rude as possible with a little smile on his face. "Pretty sure you can turn whatever head that doesn't have things going on." Phil kept his nice little smile on his face despite him not really caring what this person was or had to do in life. At the moment, Phil was more concerned why him she decided to talk to. Perhaps she was tracking him? Who knew, who knew indeed.
"So that's what you want then? A guide? I'm not too good at showing people around anyway." Phil's questions were just a way to try and deflect any attention on his purpose here. That's what the aim of most of his conversation. "But somehow, I think you've got another reason for wanting to talk to me." The statement was more poised as a question, Phil's attempt at getting to the bottom of whatever she wanted. No tact, just direct and a little rude.
Intruding on the wall staring? He supposed she was. Now Phil had to look at a person and talk to them. "No, no, you're not intruding on anything important really. I'm Phil." The casual introduction was punctuated with just a wider little smile.

It Seems your not familiar with the concept of sarcasm" She replied slighty taken aback by his rude tone."Or you just dont know how to have Normal conversation with another adult".
The vibes she was getting from the man now named phill was off. Her body was screaming for her to run. But her stubborn brain wouldn't make it happend. she didn't appreciate his rudeness never the less she was intrigued. No one had talked to her the way this man was she found it refreshing in away.
Don't flatter yourself," she retorted, crossing her arms under her chest. Shooting a glance over at him Natalia grinned under her pale eyes. "I'm slightly impressed that you managed to not get yourself killed. Or caused to much damage. That mouth of yours is going to get you in a lot of trouble one day, darling,” she replied coolly, her grin a little bit sharper now. He obviously didn't have any idea what manners or respect was. So, possibly she was being a bit too charming. For just a split second, She could notice the change in his posture. She wasn't flirting with him even though she found him attractive it was just something that was apart of her personality
"Now if your done with your Male version of PMS'ing,I'm Natalia" She replied politely finally offering up her name. Boy was this a guy a tool if she didn't find him amusing. she would have gathered her thing an went on her way . Natalia didn't scare easy Nor did this man intimidate her one bit. He was going to try harder then that. It was a shame really all that pent up aggression radiating off him. what a waste instead of using it torward worss she could think of a couple ways he could channel all that aggression.

"Yeah. Not so good at talking to people." Phil did actually look a bit apologetic, but he would never bring himself to say the word sorry to a person. He knew what his flaw was, and he was fine with it. "Still, you are dressed in a way that makes it obvious your main talent is buying some over the top dress and looking fine in it." Phil spoke with a better tone than he had before, much less rude and just a bit more playful, although there was some minor disdain that Phil had for her, or at least this conversation turn. This was going to become a public argument and he'd look like an jerk because people always presumed he was the jerk. Which he was and he knew that, but for once, Phil would like the other person to be the jerk, for them to be judged. Just once.
Well, at least it wasn't his looks that was the reason? Phil smiled politely whilst looking just a bit offended at that as well. No need to comment on it, he wasn't that self centered. The comment about not getting himself killed was just a bit too far for Phil. "What can I say? Apparently people don't want to mess with a jerk like myself. My mouth gets me into a lot of trouble all the time and what else do I do but deal? I deal with it just fine thank you. Don't need to worry, I'm great with dealing with stuff." Phil shrugged calmly, just like the tone of his voice. Calm, not trying to start a huge loud argument but keep the conversation civil. "I'm sure you just have a bunch of people willing to do things for you, right?" Phil couldn't leave out one shot at someone, and he was going off the idea that this was a rich woman who played up her beauty. He wasn't in the mood to really presume anything else.
"How good it is to meet you." Phil simply said, shrugging. "I'm sure you'll go away from this thinking how much of a jerk I am." Phil smirked and stared back at the wall.
